Hi, not to everyones cup of tea having chimes sounds in the garden, but the grandkids love them, my son made one at school that we have in the garden and its heavy weight so doesnt chime a lot, this is very lightweight and with the slightest breeze is dinging a lot so weve brought it inside a bit where it doesn’t catch as much , its still a nice product and is well crafted
The wood on the top, the central disc and heart at the bottom have a rich dark colour, beautifully smooth. The metal chimes have quite a deep tone to them, that is loud and rings through my garden. The chimes arrive in a gift box wrapped in tissue paper with a gift card but the words on the card don’t make sense “May you safe and sound”. ???
This would make a lovely present if you remove the gift card although it is a little pricey.
Supposedly to get proper sound from this, you need a small gust of wind, which is fine, but here in the UK it is just impossible to get “small” winds, and it makes this chime extremely loud, to the point that neighbours would complain. I do like the design overall and it is very tasteful, but just afraid that my neighbours will complain due to how loud it can get.
It is very neatly packaged to ensure nothing is scratched or damaged and has a nice card on the side too!
