I recently upgraded from the ‘lighter’ mini-pc (Minisforum UM770 Lite) to this one – and I couldn’t be happier with the decision – this machine gave me a significant boost in performance (especially in video editing) and a more premium design. Technically, one of the biggest pluses is the processor – this PC is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H cpu with Intel Arc gpu – this configuration means that I can handle more demanding multi-tasks without any slowdowns really. It’s got 16 cores and 22 threads, so it can handle anything from video editing to gaming. The cpu combined with Intel ARC Graphics is pretty decent for light gaming (medium settings, 1080p on AAA titles like starfield, Forza Horizon 5, etc) or creative work (DaVinci Resolve and Photoshop). Also, another upgrade is the sleek design, this X7 Ti has a sweet aluminium chassis that looks great on my desk, with that fancy display at the top of the chassis this device just ‘wants to be seen’. But here’s the thing: it’s not cheap – bit is it worth it? – that depends on what you need. If you’re looking for a powerful, compact computer that can handle demanding tasks and looks great on the desk, then the x7 Ti is definitely worth considering. But if you’re on a budget or don’t need all that power, there are other options out there. For my use, I can’t complain. Will update my review if I’d discover anything new, good, bad or in-between. So far, 5/5.
