High quality, as advertised. I like them very much and so does my son. We’re improving quickly. A lot of fun and darts are made and packaged with care. Recommended.
My son decided he wanted to try darts as a hobby, so I got him these. He’s only just started so doesn’t really have a “start” point but says they feel very easy and comfortable to hold. He loves them
This set of darts comes in a slim box and you piece the 3 sections together, and then you’re all set to use them. You can obviously disassemble them and put them back into the box but I’m not convinced of the durability of the flights and whether they would remain useful for long. It also comes with a sharpener to keep the tips of the dart sharp.
For me, a casual but enthusiastic player at best, the darts are the right weight and feel. There are four sets of three darts each, enough to allow a couple of friends to join in and play. A nice set of darts for the casual player to give hours of enjoyment.
I’m not a massive darts player but sometimes it’s nice to have a casual game with friends at the local. However, the loaner dart sets are normally a bit worse for wear so I thoughtI would grab these so I can take my own.
The darts come supplied in a plastic case that does the job but I’ll be looking for a better case later. With four complete sets you’ve got spares aplenty should you need them. The addition of the rule book is handy if you want to play some other games aside from the regular 301/501 style.
Used to play darts a lot as a teenager. Having recently obtained a dart board which came with one set of darts I was eager to get some more.
This set is colourful, I like the matching coloured aluminium rods (flight holders) and flights (four of each colour). The barrels are easy to hold, providing a fair grip. The whole dart is well balanced in my hand. The included Darts Rules Guide was useful to me in playing and setting up the board. Though it’s not comprehensive and lacks information on putting the flights on.
Also included in the thin box is a sharpening stone, folded flights, and flight-protectors, the latter I had to lookup online as I didn’t know what they were. Essentially they go on the opposite end of the flight wings to the rod to help maintain the shape of the flight. These only have two slots rather than four.
I was impressed that when I had a Robin-hood moment (dart strikes end of other dart and sticks in) I was able to push the flight holder back into alignment, I honestly expected it to snap off seen as it’s an alloy.
Overall very happy with these darts.
I will readily admit that I wasn’t certain what the quality of these darts would be like. 4 Sets of darts for the pricepoint did seem extremely reasonable.
The darts themselves are well weighted and feel nice in the hand. However, all of the darts are the same weight and there is no variety provided – dart weight is important with some people needing different weights for their throwing style or just as a preference. I found that for casual play these are a good midweight and worked well for 3 different players.
The flights are easy to fit and come in colours that match the shaft colouration (we were complete beasts and just put any flight on our darts). I do like the idea of the flight protectors but we only tried fitting them once and it was a bit fiddly so we gave up on that endeavour.
The set comes well presented in a plastic box with strong clips which keeps everything neat and together in your bag. I also like the fact it comes with a sharpening stone for the tips.
Great set for casual players.
These darts are presented in a clear plastic case.
12 Darts
4 Colours
16 flights (4 spare, 1 of each colour)
Also comes with:
Flight protectors
Point sharpener
and an ultimate darts rule guide.
They’re great for someone who is a novice and is learning this sport, but for any intermediate or advanced darts player, this set wouldn’t fall into the class of ‘professional’.
These darts are slightly front end heavy, which isn’t a bad thing depending on how you like your darts, but this is not how I like them.
The stems/shafts are metal which last longer than just plastic ones.
Points are sharp, flights are slightly flimsy, the barrel is a little slippy/wide in comparison to my existing professional darts, but this is down to again my own preference.
The finish on the darts is great and look aesthetically pleasing.
Overall, still a great set of darts considering for the price.
They are good value for money.
This set of darts would be perfect for a multiplayer party game so you’re not swapping after each person.
When my three grandkids come to visit us during the summer holidays, there’s nothing they like better than a game of ‘Round the Clock’ on the dartboard I have mounted on the outside wall of my garage.
This brilliant value for money darts set means they now no longer have to share the one set, and can now choose from one of the four colours available.
Okay, so they are not the sort of Tungsten carbide tipped darts you would see a professional player using in a tournament, but they are certainly good enough for taking to the pub for a game of 501 with your mates. I’m not even close to the standard of a professional player but I have already managed to hit a 140 using them, which indicates to me that they are a pretty decent set of darts, and I’ve only been using them for a couple of days, so hopefully, it shouldn’t be too long before I hit the magic 180 for the 5th time.
Very happy to recommend.
A good 4 set of coloured darts.
The colours are nice and vibrant. The barrel feels a little on the cheap side but it’s lightweight. Matching flights.
Comes in a nice black box, suitable for gifting. Inside the box is a plastic case, this seems about half an inch not wide enough as the last dart was facing the other way and couldn’t face in a line with the tip unprotected.
But a colourful lightweight darts set, perfect for practicing your darts play.
