I bought this camera for my 6-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loves it! The instant print feature is a huge hit, and she loves being able to see her photos right away. The camera is easy to use, and the 48MP and 1080P resolution produce great quality images.
The 32GB card provides plenty of storage for all her photos and videos. It’s a great way to encourage her creativity and capture special moments. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a fun and educational gift for their child.
48 Mega Pixels & 1080P HD Video:
This camera is equipped with 48MP and 1080P resolution, which significantly enhances the clarity of photos compared to other instant print cameras on the market. The 2.0-inch IPS screen provides vibrant color display, allowing my child to capture every moment in stunning detail. It truly allows their creativity to shine!
Multifunctional Kids Digital Camera:
Not only does this camera instantly print photos, but it also functions as a digital camera. It includes features like a music player, flash, time-lapse, and continuous shooting, plus fun puzzle games! The added frames, color filters, and mirror effects inspire my child’s creativity, turning them into a budding photographer.
Funny Instant Print Camera:
The thermal printing technology is a game changer! The camera prints black-and-white photos in just one second without using toner, making it environmentally friendly and safe. It also offers three different printing density levels and two printing modes, letting kids experiment with various styles. My child loves using colored pens to DIY decorate their prints, enhancing their creative expression.
1300mAh Powerful Battery & 32GB Card:
The built-in 1300mAh battery lasts around 3-4 hours on a full charge, which is perfect for extended playtime. The included 32GB card provides ample storage for thousands of photos and videos, so there’s no need to worry about running out of space. Transferring files to a computer is simple with the provided USB cable.
Perfect Toys Gift for Girls & Boys:
Crafted from premium silicone, the camera has a cute and durable case that protects it from scratches and drops, making it ideal for young kids. This camera is an excellent gift for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions for kids aged 3-10 years old. My child was thrilled to receive it!
As a dad with young kids, I found this camera bringing a lot of joy to our home. My 9-year-old daughter was delighted by the unicorn-shaped case, and its simplicity in operation meant even my 3-year-old son could have a go at snapping away. It comes with handy accessories like thermal paper rolls and colouring pens, perfect for children to dive right into using it. The photo quality is quite good, especially for a children’s camera, although the thermal printer does have its limits, often leaving prints a bit light. I did appreciate the easily replaceable paper rolls, as kids tend to use them up quickly. My daughter loved printing photos to give to her friends, making it a social activity. While it may be a tad pricey, the included voucher makes it more reasonable for a better deal. It’s perfect for little ones and an easy way to engage their creative sides.
This children’s camera comes in a plastic tray with 6 different colour felt tipped pens, a 49cm long detachable lanyard, a 51cm USB-A to USB-C charging cable, 3 rolls of thermal paper, a 32GB MicroSD card and instructions in a box.
This comes with a removeable rubber unicorn protective cover that once removed exposes the charging socket and the MicroSD card slot. Unfortunately the rubber cover on the ports is a bad fit and fails to cover them securely.
This was tricky to use at first so it’s a good idea to learn how this works before handing it to your child.
This has multiple different modes including games. It can be used as an instant camera or you can instead play with the photo and print when you’re ready.
This takes standard sized thermal print paper rolls at 57mm x 25mm which are available from multiple options here on Amazon so no need to worry about running out.
This is a fantastic little gadget that’s going to keep your child occupied for many hours. 5 stars.
Still a solid 4 star, good fun and decent value. I wasn’t expecting too much from the camera quality but if you download the actual photos to a computer there are quite good for a cheap kids camera.
Print quality is fair considering it is essentially a label printer with inkless technology, this keeps the price down and them keeps the consumables costs down which is the name of the game when kids of course get trigger happy.
Once setup and in action mode (when you only have to press a button to take a photo and it prints it straight after) it’s easy for my 2.5year old to use and get half decent prints.
What would’ve been better is an actually button on the top to take the pictures as using the button on the screen displayed section isn’t very use friendly in my opinion. I guess though it’s similar to that of pressing a button on a phone screen.
You get some pens with the product which is cool for doodling on the black and white photos, and there are even photo templates built into the camera if you want to give yourself bear ears and a nose.
This adorable unicorn camera was much better than I anticipated.
With a range of functions, from games, sounds, video and picture modes, there’s plenty to explore and keep a child occupied. The picture modes also include modes that allow you to add notes to the pictures, you can choose to have the printing setting on and off as well. This means you can instantly print the pictures, or save the pictures (you can also print from the saved images too).
It has external memory, meaning you can add the pictures to your own devices, and save a large amount of your children’s memories.
It’s really simple to navigate with clearly labelled buttons, and a wide handset for a good grip. The camera is sturdy and durable, with a thick rubber case.
Bonus that it’s super simple to change the paper reels and detach the printed images.
Overall the picture quality is great for the price and function. As long as the lighting is good, the black and white pictures print clearly and very detailed.
My 4/5 year old enjoy this camera, and love the independence of capturing pictures of the things important to them (and anything else they find around the house).
I’d highly recommend this product.
My niece is about 6 years old and she sees me taking pictures and she started to show interest in photography however it is too early for her to have a phone so I decided to give her one of these cameras which are useful and it helps develop creativity and interest for photography.
The actual design of the camera is very interesting and fun and she just loves it. It has a silicon cover which is easy to remove and inside the cover is the actual camera which has inside thermal paper which is also very easy to install.
And the pack is included in extra rolls of thermal paper so it’s more than enough for her for about a month. The actual pictures are black and white with quite good quality but most importantly she likes to look through the viewfinder and explore different settings. She likes to take pictures and as it prints straight away she is showing the results and carefully listens to my feedback on how to take better pictures.
The camera itself is quite sturdy and it is well protected even if it is dropped on the floor which is very important for a toy. The actual buttons are quite easy to press and the interface of the camera is very simple so she figured it out by herself in minutes.
The camera has different filters and frames and it helps her keep more creative and it even has the option of taking videos and pictures and storing them on the included 32 gb card.
This is definitely a good way to keep children entertained and develop various creativity skills, it is easy to use and it provides instant fun with printed photos and I am very happy to see her interested in photography so I would definitely recommend it.
This camera holds a lot of appeal to young children (I would say a suitable age range would be 4-9 years). It comes with everything you need to get started – a funky unicorn shaped soft silicone case, x3 rolls of thermal printer paper (one is already in the camera), a microSD card (also pre-installed), a USB cable for charging, a lanyard and some colouring pens.
It makes a nice little tune upon turning on, and the operation is fairly self-explanatory (although the printed instructions are helpful). Be sure to set the correct date and time as the default option has a timestamp on the print outs. The screen size is small but perfectly fine for children. It boasts 48 megapixels and 1080P HD video recordings. If you’re using it purely as an instant camera then the high quality photo capture is a bit redundant as the internal thermal printer does not have the ability to print in high quality. I’ve attached a ‘dot’ printout from the camera of my cat so you can see what I mean!
I love that it includes spare rolls (let loose on this I imagine many children will burn through the included stock!). Replacement rolls are readily available to purchase from Amazon. Most kids have access to tablets or phones these days so the digital photos/videos aspect is probably not as important, although I appreciate it’s great for children to be able to collect photos themselves. The photos can be taken from the SD card and saved onto a PC if required.
I feel the price is a little bit high but at the time of writing there is a 20% voucher available which reduces it to around 25 which is more reasonable. This would make a fun present for a child and will be well-received.
This camera has a silicone unicorn cover, and looks kind of cool. It doesn’t need to be on there as it is, and is required to be removed when changing the roll of paper to print on. The bottom edge will pull down far enough that you can charge it with the USB-C cable though. But younger kids will probably need help removing the unicorn cover to replace the paper, that is otherwise is almost drop in option.
The camera has loop holes for each side, and a supplied neck lanyard that is very smooth and has a push to remove button for the camera string. This allows the camera to be held at chest height and used as a quick open to take pictures. The camera is very easy to use. On off button, take picture/print button and a set of keys to navigate the menus.
Printing is fast and offers a few options that do make it look different given that it’s only black and white. A few filters can be applied in real time that make taking pictures even more fun and the included felt tip pens can be used to give them a touch of colour as an added activity with some diy skills.
Plenty of spare paper provided and replacement paper, including sticky backed, is easily obtained as these printers have become somewhat of a standard.
No app required to use the camera, a standalone product. Nice manual included, but I think most kids will figure it out as it’s simple enough.
There are three included games; you might find the kids playing these more than doing the picture taking activity, but hopefully it keeps them interested in the camera while you get them to interesting places they want to take pictures of.
Pictures are saved to the SDCARD that’s included in the camera, and can be transferred to a PC. Quality isn’t that good on them but serves as a nice keep sake if you want the actual colour pictures saved.
Overall, a fun camera for anyone that loves unicorns and photography that provides an instant print of what they’ve taken a picture of.
