This is the prettiest case for the Scribe I’ve seen, so many cases are boring plain colours (and why so many greens?) This is lovely, pretty and delicate, but the case is for from delicate, it seems to be robust and my Scribe popped into it very securely. It’s also a very sturdy stand. It’s heavier than the Amazon case but much more secure and the pen sits in the slot on the left. I plan on using it on a table so weight isn’t an issue for me. The only thing that will take some getting used to is having the wide side panel on my right, I’m used to it on the left. My cat has a habit of pushing things off my table so I needed a case much more secure than the Amazon one as my Scribe fell out of that when it went for a dive. Hopefully it will survive in this case.
The cover is lined on the inside with a soft velvety type of material. Soft enough to protect the screen. The magnetic catch holds the cover closed over the scribe. It does not fall open easily.
When the cover is folded back the magnets then hold it open. The cover has 3 sections that can be “folded” to create a triangle this then holds the scribe upright in the portrait position so you can read it while it is sat on a desk or table. See the photo.
The same can be done for landscape mode. But it sits at a more upright angle.see photo.
There is a slot for the pen / stylus. I have the basic pen which fits nice and snug. It has not fallen out yet. Even when I dropped the scribe. Not sure if the premium pen is exactly the same size??? But if it is then it will fit just as snuggly.
Very nice well fitting cover.
This has all the functionality of the Amazon case (the stand or desk tilt), except a third of the price, actual fall protection (held in securely), the pen is secured so it can’t get caught on anything and just a better feel all around. The only downside is that the fit and finish isn’t quite as polished as Amazon’s offering, but it isn’t worth the extra money for that.
Get this case, it’s fantastic.
