Day one review:
The tablet is quick, and was reasonably easy to set up using my missus’s Google account. Although that took hours to complete as I expected.
Connecting the Cable to copy over her data from her phone didn’t work, but wireless worked fine.
It’s Android 14 but seems a bit different to my Redmi note Android phone, which has its own hylerOS SKIM but is responsive and the screen looks pretty good even at low level brightness.
The Google camera app was refusing to load,and we’re stuck in a loop of being referred to permissions. The Doogee website suggested clearing the cache which didn’t work, neither did rebooting the tablet. I checked all the app permissions, which seemed fine, but I switched off the radio button for the “battery saving remove permissions” (or something like that) and disallowed letting the app manage system permissions. I think that second setting kicked it into life.
Overall, our initial impressions are hugely positive. It’s not too heavy and is lovely and slim. It’s a little disappointing it doesn’t come with a case as the aftermarket range for this model is very limited.
We’ve not tried the 4G LTE sim feature, I’ll try to update the review once we have, as this was a key requirement for us and our main reason for buying this model, along with a full HD screen (2k not 4K).
The speakers seem pretty loud too.
I wanted a tablet for browsing the web and watching videos and this has done both flawlessly.
I’m very happy with the display and sound quality and operation has been consistantly smooth.
I previously had a 2021 Fire HD 10, which was a bit prone to freezing randomly when re-opening apps although fine once it got going. I accidentally cracked the screen and thought I’d see what other options were available at a similar price point. The Doogeee has been brilliant with what appears to me to be a clean install of android without intrusive ads and, as already stated, seemless performance. It also seems nicely made. My requiremnts are probably not very demanding, but for what I need it’s perfect and great value for money.
Responsive high definition screen. Comes with comprehensive software. Up-to-date android operating system and is easy to add additional software/apps from Google play. Camera is excellent and the ability to make calls from the tablet at this price point is an added bonus. Good battery life as well. I also purchased the keyboard unit which integrates seamlessly with the tablet. Just great value compared to tablets from the so called “Premium”
brands.
Came quickly, easy to use and set up with Google, battery life is great. Storage size is great, Screen and sound not the best, but great for the price, and totally adequate

A very well made and light tablet. Excellent quality. Large screen plenty of storage. The model I purchased came with a free case and keyboard. Cannot fault this device. Especially as came with latest version of android. So pleased I bought a second one for my daughter. Would recommend to anyone. Fell unbeaten for price

This tablet came up as a money saving ‘Back to School’ deal (left school years ago, but hey-ho!) & with the offer of a free wireless keyboard thrown in, what’s not to like!
It’s got a superb, clear screen, the 4 speakers are perfectly up to the job & the fact that the case is metal is a big plus point to me!
It’s got plenty of RAM & storage space for my purposes, is plenty fast enough & has all the apps you’d expect, plus a few more for added value! It’s easy to set up & get started & adding your favourite apps is easily done via the Play Store.
Added bonuses are you can expand the memory with a microSD card & you can even add a SIM card if that’s a feature you’re looking for!
