A really good stand for most tablets and phones. It holds them safely and securely and rubber padding protects them from damage. The stand makes looking at recipes and watching TV or YouTube while I cook very easy and it can even be used to hold smaller/thinner books. I’ve used it with very old heavy tablets with heavy cases, lighter, slimmer tablets and a few phones.
The device is finished in a blue/grey paint – very stylish. Adjusting height and angle is easy – just bend the frame into shape on its friction hinges the; stand can ten be rotated on the base. The base swivels on a bearing that has a soft clicky feedback – useless and unnecessary but nice.
Every device I have used with it can be charged on the stand – even a phone with a very off-centre charging socket can be positioned so the cable isn’t obstructed.
If you’re looking for a well-made, sturdy adjustable stand for tablets and phones this is the ideal bit of kit.
This is an excellent phone stand.
It is made from powder coated steel, with rubber pads where the phone rests and rubber feet underneath.
The whole construction is quality.
The stand adjusts, so you can raise or lower your phone and tilt it as you want.
In the base there is a swivel, so you can twist your phone without having to pick up the stand.
This is a substantial piece of kit – it is very solid and easily capable of holding an iPad – I have even used it to hold by laptop.
I see this more as something to keep on your desk – to me it is a little overblown to carry around with me.
I bought this to watch football on when I couldn’t use my main t.v. I was a bit worried that the picture quality wouldn’t be good enough but it’s really good with no ghosting like you can get watching football sometimes. It eats up the battery after watching a game but no matter, just charge it up again ready for the next use. For a cheap tablet it’s a decent bit of kit.
