This music boxing toy is quite novel. It comes as a rechargeable unit (charging lead included), with 2 types of fixings to mount it. The unit can be mounted more firmly and permanently with the included Velcro strips – simply attach the loose strips to the Velcro already positioned on the back, peel off the backing tape, the press firmly into position. The other mounting method is to use the 3 large suction cups, which push into place on the back. This is the option I’ve gone for, snd so far it attaches well and hasn’t come loose as any point.

There are boxing gloves included, but they are a bit of an awkward shape and my son prefers to play without these.

The game functions by switching on, then selecting the speed. The lights start to flash, and music starts to play, with the idea being you have to ‘box’ and hit the relevant lighted pad. The built in music is a bit annoying, and there are some cheesy talking bits over the top (including references to alcoholic drinks!), but the best part about this toy is that you can Bluetooth it to your phone or other device, and quickly and easily play your own music! It works brilliantly and the sound is really rather good. The volume can also be adjusted on the unit.

Overall, it’s a great toy and a good way to get kids away from their devices and being more active. It’s also great fun for adults! Highly recommended!
