FABOKA Cordless Car Polisher is designed to be comfortable to use with a nice grip, very effortless, great power, no need to press hard to have a good job. There are plenty of accessories too, and there is a storage bag to keep all the accessories. Each battery was able to run continuously for more than 50 minutes when tested at maximum power, and the battery connector is easy to remove and install by following their tips once aligned. Very nice guy.

It’s been a while since I had one, and this didn’t disappoint. It works just as well as the old pro ones I used when I worked at a detail shop. Lightweight and easy to handle. Highly recommend.

Die FABOKA Akku Poliermaschine wurde mit viel Zubehr zusammengepackt in einer relativ kleine Schachtel geliefert. Alle Zubehrteile waren einzeln in Folie verpackt, was leider zu sehr viel Mll ergibt.

What a nice little set. Came with everything you need and don’t. Battery life is good, still not completely sold on the battery quality, but it hasn’t let me down yet. I’ve got several buffers/polishers in my tool cabinets but this is the first cordless set. So far it’s been all corded or pneumatic. All of my polishing supplies work with this kit and as long as the batteries hold up, I think I’m set for a while.

I love this cordless polisher, there are super many accessories included, more than any other product, any accessory you need for the whole job you can find, there’s even sandpaper to turn it into a sander, which is crazy! The two batteries, each of which lasts a long time, are also matched to the machine so well that you don’t have to worry at all about the batteries coming loose and falling out while you’re polishing, which happened to my other cordless polisher, and now it’s ready to be thrown away. There are 6 speeds with precise control and a nice turning sound with plenty of power. The wide area on the vent is easy to grip and you won’t get sore holding it for a long time. Great price and recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Really good polishe

I’ve been using a corded car buffer for a number of years. And while it has worked well, it gets old lugging a cord around. It sounds dumb, but it’s true. I was excited to find this battery powered one. The only worry I had, was going from a lager buffer to this one. I thought it would make a big difference going down in size, but it hasn’t at all. The lack of cord more than makes up for it. Just being battery powered has cut down on the amount of time it takes me to buff my truck. The batteries are more than enough to make it through polishing, and it works really well. I’m not sure how long the batteries would last if doing a multiple step polish, but with there being two of them included, I have to imagine you’d be able to charge one in time to be dome with the other. I would recommend this buffer, especially for the price point.

This review evaluates the “12V Cordless Dual-Action Random Orbital Polisher Kit” made by FABOKA.

The product was shipped with no excessive or wasteful packaging and all components were contained in the box. What’s in the box: one (1) dual-action random orbital polisher, two (2) 12V lithium-ion batteries, one (1) 12V AC/DC charging adapter, one (1) plastic apron, two (2) pairs of latex gloves, one (1) zippered nylon carrying bag, user instructions, and a generous assortment of polishing bonnets, sponges, sandpaper, etc.

First impressions: Well-made, solid, tool. At first glance, you would think it was an OEM MAKITA tool. The tool casing is made of high-quality rugged ABS plastic with non-slip textured grips on the handle and palm rest. The tool has a positive ON/OFF rocker toggle switch that is easily actuated with your thumb. The tool has a variable rotary switch on the left-hand-side of the handle, that is also easily actuated with your thumb, which allows for six (6) different orbital speeds (0-5,500 RPM). The tool includes two (2) 12V/2.0Ah lithium-ion batteries and an AC/DC block-style charger. The unit has a powerful but ultra-quiet DC 4-pole brushless pure copper wound motor that produces 5,500 RPM. The tool uses a standard 6″ hook-and-loop pad to mount its accessory pads and sandpaper. Overall, the tool quality was very good when compared to that of OEM MAKITA

How does it perform? Great with some minor flaws. I first charged both batteries fully. After mounting a 2.0aH battery, the tool was ready for use. One thing I did not like was how hard it was to insert/remove the batteries. After removal/insertion several times, it seemed to go a bit better. At only 2.3 lbs with a battery, the tool was nice and easy to handle. The motor is fairly quiet and has ample power for polishing. One battery lasted to polish my pickup truck. It is nice to have cordless freedom when polishing a vehicle; there’s no cord to potentially scratch your finish. Another thing I did not like was how all the accessories were thrown into the box and barely fit into the included zippered nylon carrying bag. I removed all the accessories out of their stiff plastic and organized them into Ziploc bags so they could be removed/resealed.

I am evaluating this product as part of the Amazon Vine program so I am limited to a 30-day window to submit a review. Only time will tell if this product has similar longevity and effective service life as other competitive products on the market. Therefore, I am going to monitor this product over the next 8-12 months of use and revise my review should problems arise.

Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall I am very satisfied with the product. It is fairly compact, light, and powerful. It produces smooth, clean, and controlled polish; saving me time and money. At a current price of $129.99 plus a $50 off coupon, I feel it is very competitively priced when compared to similar products in this class and the quality delivered.

In summary: the “12V Cordless Dual-Action Random Orbital Polisher Kit” made by FABOKA is a well-made, compact, and powerful orbital polisher. I would recommend this product without reservation.

    Pros :
    Rugged, well-made using quality materials.
Fit, finish, and build quality on par with OEM MAKITA.
Powerful DC 4-pole brushless pure copper wound motor.
    Simple ON/OFF rocker toggle.
Variable six (6) speed rotary switch producing up to 5,500 RPM.
Ergonomic, non-slip handle, and palm rest.
Includes a “full bag of polishing swag” — bonnets, sponges, sandpaper, etc.
Easy to use, portable, and ultra-light at 2.3 lbs (with battery).
Includes two (2) 12V/2.0Ah lithium-ion batteries with good runtime life.
Uses standard 6″ hook-and-loop pad accessories.
Suitable for home or light commercial use.
Produces smooth, clean, and even polish.
Competitively priced in its class and good value!

    Cons:
The batteries are difficult to insert/remove.
The charging AC/DC block is NOT CSA/UL/ETL certified for use in Canada and the USA.

Well-made, compact and powerful! All you need to polish a car but the polish!

I have been looking for an electric polisher for a while now and when this one turned up in my feed I was very interested to test it out.

The FABOKA polisher is a cordless, speed adjustable, polisher that uses 6″ polishing pads.

Included in the kit is almost everything you may need to polish your vehicle. It’s intended to work all the way from initial sanding passes up through final finish buffing levels.

It does not include any polishing compound. This is fine as every polishing job will be different, surfaces will require different levels of polishing or buffing and will start at different stages depending on the conditions, so not including polishing or buffing compound is perfectly acceptable.

In addition to the polisher and a small polishing steps manual this kit includes quite a lot of extras including the following.
1 Apron. (very basic, not very good quality but useful in a pinch.)
2 Large Micro-Fibre Cloth Finishing cloths
    2 120 Grit sanding pads
    2 flat foam pads
    2 egg carton foam pads
    2 soft polishing pads
2 packs of multiple grade elastic cover socks (for use over the foam pads)
    4 additional polishing cover socks.
2 pair of medium size viny disposable gloves
2 12v 2Ah Li-ion batteries with built in charging socket.
1 DC 12v 1A wall wart charging plug.
    1 zippered storage bag.

    Quality.
The polisher itself seems fairly well made. It feels solid in the hand and has double-shot (Moulded) rubber grip over top of plastic. It runs smoothly, speed adjusts accurately, with my initial testing, the battery life seems decent.

    Function
The polisher runs on 12v 2Ah batteries. installed in the butt of the handle. I did have trouble getting the batteries to clip into place and they required a lot of force to completely engage in the back of the handle. Once I was able to insert and remove the batteries a few times, it became a bit easier. So that initial install I think forced the position of the contacts into a better spot. Your mileage may vary.

A rocker switch on the top of the handle turns the polisher on. A dial on the left side of the handle adjusts the speed. Note: speed adjustment is analogue, which is nice as you can fine tune the speed to your liking. (My initial concern was that it would have a stepped speed control, but this is not the case.)

The face of the polisher has a velcro style hook surface to which you press fit the included pads.

Another plus with this polisher is that it’s a random orbital polisher. Rather than the disk being fixed in the centre of the motor axel, it’s offset and moves freely which helps reduce swirls. As it’s free floating, the other useful feature is that if you apply too much pressure while running, the pad will stop spinning. This keeps you from pushing too hard while polishing. Excellent feature.

Note: The manual explains the polishing stages you go through to complete your polishing from a very scratched surface that you’d need to restore up to the final finishing stages. As a beginner that knows little about the whole process I found this very useful.

What I don’t like. (generally related to overall build quality)
Speed adjustment dial rotates very rough. The marks around it’s surface rub against the case.
Battery installation is very difficult on first install. (but seems better on successive tries)
The battery construction is a bit sub par.
I would have liked the zippered case to have a few internal pockets for keeping batteries, charger, and supplies separated from the polisher itself but it’s just a large open bag. (the bag is also too small to fit all of the included supplies.)
The Apron is very cheap. (I guess it does the job, but the material basically a thin layer of woven polyester)
I had hoped that this unit would be compatible with standard 12v drill batteries but no luck.
Replacement batteries (at the time of this review) seem to be hard to come by and very expensive.
Charging the batteries uses a cheap DC supply that plugs directly into the battery, not a charging station.

    Verdict
The overall build quality of the polisher itself is excellent, I like the adjustability of speed and that you get two batteries to swap one out/charge one while the other is being used. The sheer volume of extra supplies included is a nice addition. The included bag is great to store the polisher and some supplies. (but not all) The batteries are difficult to install, but it’s not bad overall. A very competent polishing kit that I know will get a decent amount of use in my garage. Worthy of consideration.
