I’ve had folding pitch repairers but this one has room to close even if it is a little grubby or wet. The spring closure is strong and it opens nicely. Good value for money.

You get 2 pocket sized pitch mark repair tools for a fiver so they represent pretty decent value for money.
The great thing about these is the repair fork section folds in to the handle, like a pen knife and can be flicked out at the touch of a button.
This makes them ideal for carrying in a pocket without fear of the forks poking a hole in your expensive golf trousers.
The automatic release works well and it flicks the forks out with some energy and they lock in place ready to repair that freshly made pitch mark.
The forks are a little bit wobbly when locked in but still have more than enough rigidity to get the job done.
The body of the tool also holds a metal ball marker that’s kept in place with a couple of small magnets. It’s fairly easy to remove and even easier to put back in place. Another essential piece of golfing kit.
An extra feature of this pitch mark repair tool allows you to stick the forks in the ground and rest a club in the underside grooves, keeping it off the wet grass. It’s not a deal breaking feature for me personally but I’m sure some will make use of it.
These tools are quite well made and incredibly handy.
Every golfer should carry a pitch mark repair tool so why not one of these? They’re quite cool the way they work and are small enough for any pocket.
Plus you get an extra one to give to one of your golfing buddies!
For less than a fiver this a good value pack of 2 pitch repair/markers. The forks flick out to use, and fold back when not in use, plus there is a magnetic ball marker as well. The body of the repairer is made of a hard plastic (my current are actually metal), not an issue but worth a mention.
These are easy to use, work well and worth a fiver.
