Good quality with nice shiney finish. The back of the pieces are nicely printed with letters which really does help. Once sorted into different areas it seems much more manageable. One you’ve worked what order they are in. Mmm yeah. Edges first then worked in.
I’ve never attempted a jigsaw puzzle quite like this before and I love it! It’s fun and relaxing to do, especially as it’s neither too easy nor too hard.
The colours are sharp and vibrant with lots of interesting patterns and details. All the pieces are well made, strong and fit together neatly – they’re not dusty either.
There’s a puzzle sized poster to refer to and all the puzzle pieces have either A B C or D on the reverse side that correspond to each quarter of the puzzle if you wish to speed things up a bit.
It would be a great gift idea for anyone who loves puzzles aged 14 and up. It’s good value too.
Great design and so much fun! I didn’t use much the quadrants printed on the back but on a couple of occasions they came in handy to figure out the orientation of a piece that was particularly tricky.
I love jigsaw puzzles but the designs are most times so old-fashioned, generic and boring, so I was really happy to finally see a different and beautiful artwork that is worth framing. Also the tile theme goes really well with the thickness of a jigsaw puzzle, so win-win.
A decent jigsaw puzzle with a nice image. It’s very well made and the pieces fit together nice and securely without being too tight fitting that you can’t pull them apart if you make a mistake. The jigsaw comes with a full sized sheet of what the puzzle looks like (with a 1:1 ratio) which is great and really helpful.
The printing of the pictures (kind of like mosaic tiles ) is bright and well proportioned and they all look very pretty. Putting it together was fine. You can either do it by mosaic tile, randomly or by quartering the jigsaw up into sections A, B, C and D as each piece has a letter on the back (with each of the letters corresponding to a different quarter of the puzzle). Personally I’m not a big fan of having letters printed on the back as it takes away some of the challenge to completing a jigsaw but if you get stuck you can just look at the back of the piece to make sure your piece is from the right section or whether it’s the right way round for example.
A nice puzzle, not too hard, relaxing and good value. Recommended as I enjoyed it.
The first thing I thought when this was delivered was there isn’t 1,000 pieces in this box, it’s tiny.
The pieces themselves are really well cut, they fit together easily. I also like that they have letters on the box, so you know what goes in each section.
I am only half way putting the jigsaw together. When fully complete it isn’t too big either, so you don’t need a massive table to put it on.
This jigsaw arrives very well packaged. The box is firm and tight and made to measure. The pieces come in a plastic bag that fits just about perfectly into the box. Could be a coincidence but I think the box is made to measure. There is also a reasonably large poster folded in four of the finished picture should you want to refer to it.
Opening the plastic bag I can feel in my hand that the individual pieces are good and solid. They have that nice sharpness and freshness to them that good jigsaw pieces have before they’ve been used and handled a gazillion times! Interestingly, on the underside of the pieces seems to be printed letters, like A, B and C. I am not sure what this is for exactly, I’ve never seen this before, but personally I hope it is not any kind of guide (A pieces go with A pieces and so on) as I would prefer it if that wasn’t the case, but that would be my personal preference, others may differ.
Whether or not the letters are a guide I like this jigsaw. You can always choose not to use the guide if that is the case. What I like most, beyond the box and feel of the pieces is the design itself. It is tough to think of a better jigsaw design really in my opinion. The picture is attractive and extremely bright and detailed and should present a high level of challenge to most jigsaw enthusiasts. It reminds me of a mosaic almost.
I think this would make for a good gift idea for others or an indulgent gift idea for yourself. I personally am very happy with the jigsaw, it is up my alley and the subject matter is more interesting to me than some landscape scene. Can’t fault it really, other than the letters on the back of the pieces, but some people may like that – I feel it’s a judgement call.
[I received this product for free, in exchange for an honest review, as part of the Amazon Vine programme. That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.]
I requested the ‘Jigsaw Puzzles for Adults 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzles for Adults Educational Game Challenge’ as I like the design and enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles.
The jigsaw arrived and it is exactly as I expected it to be based on the seller’s description in terms of colour, size and quality. The box is quite small and the picture wraps around the edges of the box. This is not a problem as a fold out poster of the picture is inside the box. There are letters on the back of the jigsaw pieces A,B,C,D which denote which quadrant of the picture that jigsaw piece belongs in. This is good for beginners as the pieces can be sorted into 4 trays and worked on one quadrant at a time. Alternatively, the back of the pieces can be ignored for a more traditional approach, if you prefer.
It is the first time that I have seen a jigsaw puzzle which gives you an easy option (printed on the back). Personally I prefer to take time and sort my pieces out according to colour and shape. The pieces fit together well and the printing is vibrant and good quality. I am happy to recommend this, 5 stars.
This jigsaw puzzle from Mojige ticks pretty much all of the boxes for me. It is good value for money and the pieces are good quality. They feel slightly thinner than some puzzles and thicker than others but the rounded tabs on the pieces feel solid and not like they will bend at the slightest brush. Speaking of rounded tabs, did you know that the rounded tab on a jigsaw piece is actually called an interjamb? No, nor me!
The pieces come in a smaller than average box, which is great for storing your jigsaws on a bookshelf. Inside, there is a full-size poster of the actual jigsaw, which you can use if you need to while completing the puzzle.
My absolute favourite feature of this jigsaw is the printing on the rear of the puzzle with the letters A, B, C and D. This divides the jigsaw into four sections if you wanted to separate out those pieces. Hobby time is precious and for most people trying to juggle work and home, it’s a genius idea in my book to help cut down the sorting aspect of puzzling so you can move on quickly to the fun part of putting the jigsaw together.
If you separate out the pieces, you can do the jigsaw in approximately 250 piece sections, which can be easily done in a couple of hours after work.
The only slight criticism I have of the puzzle would be that the image is a little too AI for me and I would have preferred it to be a bit more arty but artists need to be paid so I expect that keeps the price down of the jigsaw. The puzzle does look true to the photo on the Amazon listing and I am looking forward to completing the puzzle. Should I run into any problems while puzzling I will update this review accordingly.
I also have another jigsaw from Mojige called Animal Family, which is just as nice as this one, and I would recommend them both.
