I’ve got this set up on a shepherd’s hook right outside our living room window, and it makes for some very fun bird viewing! I like the metal composition of it and the set up to discourage the steady squirrels.

At first I was skeptical about trying this feeder as I had tried other similar designs that my birds just didn’t care for. I wasn’t sure why until I have this one a try. The others did not have enough perching space for my particular birds. This one has wider sides, extended porches, and the finches seem happy to sit sideways on it too get better access to the seeds. The feeder is a lovely dark green and really pretty in design. It holds a lot of seed! More than I put out at any one time due to humidity and rain in my area. The bottom trough does have holes in it for drainage, but the damp seed can still cake up as with most feeders I have had. After a rain, I scrape out the damp seed into a bin to dry in the sun for the doves and squirrels, and shake dry seed into the trough before adding more to the wide top. The only downside in my opinion is that there is not a latching mechanism to keep it standing tall if you take it down to fill it. You need to hold it up by the wire to keep the two stories straight while you fill it. Being able to have it in a one story or two story locked position would be nice. The coated metal and heavy coated wire hanger seem to be of good quality. I’m happy with it’s sturdiness and it is rust resistant. While not sold as squirrel proof, my local squirrels have not bothered this feeder so far since I took down their favorite easy to dump hutch feeder. We’ll see how things go as winter comes on. I’m really pleased with this bird feeder both in looks and function, and my wrens and finches love it!

Really nice and solid bird feeder! I’ve been having issues with the squirrels eating my plastic feeders and I’m so happy to have gotten this one to replace it.
It feels nice and heavy duty, the hanging cord is nice and strong (and I love the little bird charm on it!) and it’s super easy to fill.
Very, very happy with this bird feeder!

    Solid.

I love this bird feeder. The color is a beautiful forest green .
The metal is heavy duty and strong. The feeder collapses unless there is seed in it or hanging. It has a nice strong cable for hanging and a cute metal bird decoration on top. Very easy to clean and hang. Holds a lot of seed and gets heavy.

    Sturdy metal bird feede

I am very happy with this feeder! It came complete with hanging handle, and it is super easy to fill and use. The colors go perfect with my tan and forest green house as well! Holds a lot of feed for small birds.

I really like the appearance of this feeder. The telescoping feature will hopefully keep squirrels from getting the birdseed, even with a lid that lifts up easily.
The quality seems sound, however, the paint job is poor. In my photo, you can see how they spray-painted this and missed a large spot. I will always see it, though others probably won’t. Hopefully it won’t cause rust issues.
So far, I’m satisfied. It looks nice in my yard, and the birds like it too.

Very attractive, but a noticeable flaw.
