Honestly I was so shocked at how good the quality of the screen is and the touch, it’s fast and doesn’t lag at all. It’s the perfect size, I thought it might block my window and block my view of the road, however as you can see from the photo attached. I managed to have it lowered down.
Good device if yourbcar doesn’t have carplay option. Can see all notifications from phone, map, calls. You can’t watch movies or videos.
Was easy to set up and has touchscreen.

It is really easy to set up and use. Likewise it performs well.
The screen responds perfectly and accurately when touched.

Connects nicely to my iPhone easily, there is a bit of a delay for audio but this is likely due to Bluetooth connectivity. AirPlay works well with good connection and although it could be a bit more responsive (these types of CarPlay screens rarely are) it is still a handy thing to use instead of a mobile phone
I had been looking for a way to add CarPlay to my old VW Touareg for a while. I spoke to VW (1200 plus fitting) and looked at other third party solutions (between 200 and 2000). Some of these options required the removal of the dashboard and hard wiring units into place. None of them had very clear instructions. I was also worried about losing some of the functionality built into the car.
Initially I spoke to VW about updating my SatNav Maps. 400 plus VAT!!!

It’s a good looking unit and easy to connect. It offers all CarPlay functionality; reading out my messages, playing music and podcasts from my phone and a calendar viewer. Best of all, my maps are now always up to date.
When I switch my car on, if I have an event in my calendar it will show me the directions to a meeting, if not it shows me the route home!
It’s a great way to add CarPlay at such a reasonable price. I am very happy!
Extremely easy to set up and adjust. The screen has no lag and easily connects to my phone. Perfect for a older car to make the interior up to date and also looks incredible.
