I got this controller yesterday and it’s probably the best I could ever ask for, it’s absolutely perfect for my needs
It’s the same size as my previous 360 controller, feels as robust as any other 3rd party controller, but the extra feature is fantastic I wish all controllers had it
The sticks aren’t the best on the market but they’re absolutely fine for what I do – they’re equivalent to any other third party controller that doesn’t cost half the price of a new console
To break it down, the controller has 4 modes which I’ll give the name it provides in joy.cpl in windows
Controller (XBOX 360 for Windows) – (default when you plug it in) – standard xbox controller, the analogue sticks are fully analogue, as are the triggers
PS3/PC Gamepad – (hold for 6 seconds) – The analogue sticks are still fully analogue but the back triggers are digital
PS3/PC Gamepad – (press once when in PS3/PC Gamepad mode) – Both analogue sticks and triggers are digital but now the right analogue stick uses the same buttons as the face buttons
Android Gamepad – (hold for 6 seconds when in PS3/PC Gamepad mode) – Basically the same as the first PS3/PC Gamepad mode except the buttons as they appear in joy.cpl are a little bit different and the xbox button is its own button
For PS1 and PS2 emulation, I’d recommend using the Android Gamepad mode as the xbox button can be used as the analogue button for a dualshock controller
The only downside you might have with this is that the cable length is only 140cm, but that’s ideal for me as I’m only sitting at my desk and it means there’s much less risk of me rolling over the cable with my chair – it could be an issue for other people though

My monitor, headphones, keyboard and mouse also arrived today but my pc will be arriving in the next couple of days.
My first impression is that this controller looks and feels great, I like the positioning of the analog sticks, but that is very much a personal preference amongst gamers I guess, what appeals to one may not appeal to the other. I will say though that it is a bit small as XBOX controllers go and the buttons are smaller than what I’m used to but I have no doubt that it will work superbly.
