Absolutely cannot believe hiw well this works, especially for the money. To be honest, it’s presence alone solved my issues, but ease of use amd quality are genuinely admirable. Turn the settings down so it records less, because it’s so sensitive that you’ll be checking your phone every 5 minutes. I cannot believe this much tech costs so little, amd works so reliably well
For the price I’m really impressed. Bit of a faff to pair it up with my phone but managed . Love that I can see from the app when it needs charging. Picture quality is really good. Only detects people not branches blowing etc. I’ve signed up for 6 months to have videos stored and I’ll see how it goes.
This camera has been brilliant since we purchased it. It works as advertised, it can be triggered by movement or someone pressing the button (aka ringing the bell). There is a wifi ringer that you can place in your front room or any room that suits you, which works perfect. You can even change the settings for the sensitivity of the body movement. You can talk through any time you like, even when it hasn’t been pushed.
My only complaint and the only reason it is not 5 stars is, you need to pay a subscription to be able to access the recordings. So if you are looking to prove that the delivery driver didn’t visit your property or leave the parcel, then you would need this subscription.
Bought this to replace a more expensive one i needed to throw away as I was having lots of problems with it. Did not expect it to be so good. It is easy to set up. Works brilliantly, connecting to the internet quickly when someone rings the bell. It takes only seconds to get sound and visual on my phone when I am not in. We order a lot from amazon and I am always having to remind the drivers to put the parcel in our safe place. Very impressed.
We bought this since we don’t have a peep hole in our door and kept opening it when cold callers came. Now I can check the footage before opening the door, and also the speaker allows you to advise couriers delivering parcels if you are out. Since having this we have also enjoyed the extra security and peace of mind. The membership was an additional 39 for the year but from my research it’s still cheaper than the more well known ring doorbell. Installation was so easy, you can adjust your doorbell settings on the app and well as the sensor area if you keep having it set off. Battery life is great, we have had for 2 months and it’s currently still at 65%. Depending on your settings, the battery could drain quicker. Overall, well worth the money!
For the price this is a good video doorbell. The images are sharp and clear and the microphone is pretty good. It has motion sensing that works well, and human shape filters. The WiFi range is pretty short, which required us to get a booster to use the bell for our first floor flat. The battery is OK and requires an overnight recharge about every couple weeks. It takes a bit of time to connect once the phone alert comes through so there’s a bit of delay.
I do really wish there were a way to change the sound of the bell. It just has one tone and sometimes it’s hard to know if we heard our bell or our neighbor’s without checking the app.
This seems to be a good example of “you get what you pay for”. Are there other better ones out there? Yes. Can you get them at this price? No. Does this do everything a doorbell needs to do? Yes.
For the price I paid, I was blown away by the performance and functionality of this device, picture quality and night vision is excellent . It’s relatively easy to set up and sync to the separate door bell chimer and your own wifi, although it randomly drops the wifi connection forcing me to delete the device and re-add it. The controlling app you have to download on your phone is decent enough and pretty much does everything you need it to. One fairly major problem though is you cannot save any stills or movies from the door camera to your phone or a local device (it is connected to your home network after all). It gets worse: if you want to view a still, it always throws up a nag screen inviting you to subscribe to their cloud service….every time. This gets annoying very quickly. Also, the cloud service isn’t particularly cheap either at around 36 a year at its cheapest price point. Those couple of (star losing) issues is it though as otherwise, I’m very impressed with my purchase!
