The “Luke Littler Dartboard Set” from “Target” is an all-in-one set for playing darts at home.
The set arrives requiring just for the board (which is screwed into the wooden case and surround when hung) to be hung. Fixing the dartboard to your wall is pretty standard, requiring you to screw the board and box to your wall. Included in the set is the fixing kit for doing this.
The surround is a thick wooden box with steel corners. This surround is far better quality than I was anticipating it to be. Any darts that hit the surround just stick into the wood or reverberate off it, and you can barely see where they’ve been. This is great for protecting your walls.
The quality of the dartboard itself is excellent. The darts stick into the cork facing with ease. The steel trim is thin (so as not to minimise the chance of your darts hitting it) whilst also feeling strong and robust.
The darts themselves are ok. Nothing special, but they do seem to have a good balance to them and fly well. For a beginner or intermediate level player, I would say they should suffice. Of course, you can always upgrade your darts over time.
All in all a very good set. I was very happy with the quality of the board and the surround really does make it that much better. Highly recommended.
In a nutshell:
Things I liked:
+ I already have a Winmau cabinet and board. The quality of this board and cabinet is essentially indistinguishable, despite the price being about 20 lower.
+ Everything included to get started – even an oche! – and it’s as easy to mount as any dart cabinet I’ve had. The darts that are included are absolutely fine for beginner darts.
+ The price of about 63 (after voucher applied) is very reasonable for everything you get.
Things I didn’t like:
– Nothing.
Do I recommend it?
Yes. Easy to recommend to you.
Luke “The Nuke” Littler has inspired loads of people to rediscover or give darts a try and this set is perfect for newcomers or experienced players alike. You get everything you need to set up a Darts competition in your spare room, man cave or garage, we’ve spent hours as a family having a laugh playing darts together. Everything included is great quality and perfect to get you started – get some practice in and go and impress your mates at the local!
This is a great quality, heavyweight Dartboard and cabinet that only needs a little assembly. Because it’s so heavy, you do need to check that you have a good wall to fasten it to (unfortunately our plasterboard walls weren’t up to the job!). The logo on the outside when the cabinet is closed is somewhat over-the-top; I might redecorate! The logos on the inside are smaller and more tolerable.
We’ve had this darts set for a few weeks now.
It took some setting up, as it’s fairly heavy (heavier than I expected), but once done it’s great!
The board is sizel, which means it takes the damage the darts cause with much more success than the ‘clay’ (or whatever it is) type. As a VERY casual player, it feels professional. The darts are adequate for people like me, but better players probably want better. THe case that the dartboard sits in is not exactly high-end, but it is certainly robust enough and pretty tidy-looking, and it helps protect the wall from bad throws (not me, of course (cough)).
For 70 at time of writing, this is a good buy.
Recommended.
I’m a fan of this dartboard – it looks great. I’m not, however, a massive fan of Luke Littler so will probably keep the doors open so as not to see the nuke emblazoned across the wall!
His name is all over the board as well but a little black paint will sort that if I get too tired of seeing his name.
It comes with some fairly lightweight darts so I will probably replace those in time. The white pen and eraser is good to keep score.
I had some help installing from my neighbour who is a tradesman and it took us both the best part of an hour to put it up. He used better fittings than the ones that came with the board to ensure it was secured. We took our time over the positioning as well, the box gives guidance on what height to set it at. We’ve had a few games and it’s a lovely dartboard and I’m delightedwithi

Really happy with the quality of this dartboard, everything in the kit is well made. The sizel dartboard with marbled white sections agginst the black looks great, the numbers are easily rotatable and fitting hangs the board firmly without wobbling. The two supplied sets of darts are nice and sharp and feel well balanced.
The scoring boards on the cabinet are easy to write on with the chalk pen supplied and have plenty of room for those of us who need more than nine darts. The dry eraser sponge doesn’t fully remove the chalk due to the finish on the doors, but wetting it or a cloth gets it off easily.
We prefer to score ourselves, but the kit has a downloadable scoring app that seems really good, perfect for larger BBQs or parties. There is also a floor sticker to mark the throwing line for more professional players.
The kit is easy to assemble with clear instructions, it took no time at all to hang in our garden. Although it’s worth checking the width of the hanging brackets on the back of the board, against your wall marks before drilling. This is clearly mentioned in the instructions and I would certainly recommend it as mine were off by about 8mm.
My only complaint is that the cabinet doesn’t have latches to keep the doors open. I have chosen to hang mine under cover in the garden, but when the wind blows the doors shut. I imagine this is because it’s intended for indoor use, but I can imagine it’s still an issue if the wind blows through an open window.
