Small face but not tiny; ordinary numerals (1,2,3 etc); face lights up pressing the winder (battery powered of course); sturdy design; good strap; really impressive and attractive little article. Highly recommended.
This is my second of these watches. The first one lasted 12 years and then the back light stopped working so I thought I’d get a new one even though the watch was working perfectly apart from the light. Lovely clear face and comfortable strap.
Wanted clear plain dial plus a back light for night time for mum. Not a gold watch but she can’t see those now. These watches are great for people who want a watch that they can see the time on, not tell them they are 100 feet below water and they haven’t reached their steps for the day. Jewellers should remember not everyone needs these types of watch or want to pay s for one with functions they don’t want or can’t see. This watch arrived the next day. With a years guarantee – can’t fault it and long may they continue to stock these types of watches
The biggest problem with this watch is that although it is advertised as “easy read”, that only applies to the clock numbers. The date number is one third the size and impossible for my eyes.
I was torn between keeping and returning the watch for this reason but in the end I’ve kept it because I love the night light. This is a rare feature and once you’ve experienced it, it’ll be hard to go to a watch that doesn’t have it.
Also, the strap keeps turning on my wrist. I think it’s because the holes are slightly out for me. The one I use is too loose but the next one is too tight. That’s not a watch fault though so I’m only mentioning it for awareness.
All in all I adore this watch. 4 stars because it was sheer laziness for them to make the date numbers so small. There’s plenty of space to have made the date cut out to hold bigger numbers. So the date is unusable for me but the rest of the watch is perfect.
PS: I brought from here because Amazon give a two year warranty for this watch. Timex themselves only give one year.
Love, love, love this little watch. It is the perfect size for my wrist. The dial is easy to read and I love the ‘built in light’. It is keeping accurate time and is comfortable to wear. My favourite watch of all time!
