These are good quality adaptors that let me finally say goodbye to lightening specific devices so I can use things like power banks that only have USB type C.
They come with little strings with hooks so that you can keep them attached to a keyring or something.
Quality is good and I would recommend them
I got thesse as i have both an iphone requiring a lightning lead and an android requiring a usb type C you simply fit it to the end off the lightning lead to change it to a usb type c so no need to have 2 cables any more
A major plus is they have no effect on the charge rate and much to my suprise they even allow data very cool they are very well made and very strong and a nice firm fit
Very highly recomended
The even come complete with 2 camera type loops so you can attatch them to the charge lead without fear off losing them
When I traded up to the new iPhone I had a lot of redundant, but good quality charging cables around the house and my office. These adapters have saved my from buying new cables, and it is easy to pop them off to charge my older version iPad. They work well and are excellent value for money.
These lightning to usbc adapters work perfectly fine. They are small and discreet and you can even attach them to a keychain should you need to take out and about with you! Work exactly as they should.
These were great for when space is a premium and you don’t want to be carrying lots of charger cables. This was a lightning cable to C charger. Just needed to slot the lightning charger into the back of the adapter and then you have a C charger for the many items needed to charge.
I have quite a few lightning connection cables but few USB-C so it is much more convenient if I can swap over the end connector rather than looking for another cable these little connectors are the answer they fit securely over the lighting connectors and work perfectly. They also come with a small connection lanyard to attach to the cable so they don’t get mislaid. The connectors seem well built and I expect them to las
As apple Lightning was the connector of choice for Apple devices for many years, its common to find such cables around on desks in your travels. Using this little adapter, you can borrow those plugs and convert to the more modern USB-C standard, thus allowing such devices to be charged up whilst on the go.
Note that as USB-C and USB3 provide Power Delivers (PD), but Lightning pre-dates this, the 56K resistor mentioned allows for the 10W (2A) charging mode to be enabled, this is the highest before PD came along and upped the game considerably. Luckily, the lowest rating on a PD enabled device is also 10W so, when it tries to negotiate with the power source for more power, and fails, it will simply stick to this value, even if the device is capable of receiving more power, so it will charge, just more slowly than normal.
The adapter also provides a data connection so you can hook up your device. I tried it with an Apple device and it works fine, I’m not sure how it would work for non-apple devices, given that Apple stick a small security / charging chip in the Lightning cable, so how this will work or not on other non-apple devices would need to be checked.
