I just plugged this into my PC and it worked instantly with no need to install anything.
The sound was nice and clear and seemingly lag free.
There seems to be very little post processing if any and the sounds are rich, especially on the outer frequencies.
I have now used this many times and will keep it for constant use.

Offers a slightly more full sound to various games etc, but I must admit I thought it would be more pronounced.

I plugged it in to an existing machine with sound and simply switch the settings to discord and the main system to use the card as standard, the difference was notable but I kinda expected more bass or much more fullness to the audio. 7.1 It does give you a bit more sound but its a bit meh at the bass level.

The price at the time of review was 14.99 and the is a 20% off voucher at the this time.

What was kinda useful was that I have my laptop and phone hooked up at the same time, through just a single set of headphones. I only tested this on a PC.

whats nice is that you can click the lower button and switch immediately to the original sound to compare.

I liked that I can independently control the audio level for the games machine and the phone with the main + – buttons and the wheel on the side for bluetooth.

Its pretty good for the price and budding stream might find this an ideal option.

4.0 out of 5 stars Its certainly plug and play, better sound on my old aging Dell.

    Price when reviewed: 14.99.
I’ve been testing this sound card with my laptop and phone, listening to rock mp3 music files. I’ve also connected it my Nintendo Switch. I powered the device using with both USB-A ports and with a USB-A to C adapter without any problems.
Bluetooth connection with phone was fast, the device identifies itself as MZ712. A blue LED flashes and turns solid when a Bluetooth connection is made. The M button is used to connect/disconnect from Bluetooth as well as answering/disconnecting from phone calls.
I like that the volume controls are separate for Bluetooth and headphones with a wheel on the side for Bluetooth and buttons on the front panel of the device for headphones. There is also a small switch on the side of the device to turn its microphone on or off.
I tried the 7.1 button during music playback and found it gave a much richer sound with a fuller bass that I preferred. Turning the 7.1 button off again made the music sound a little tinny in comparison.
I powered the sound card from my laptop when connecting to my Nintendo Switch via Bluetooth. The Switch took just a few seconds to find the sound card. Again, sound was crystal clear with a richer sound and a fuller bass when 7.1 was switched on.
This sound card is never going to give true 7.1 sound, however it is an improvement on the standard sound I get from my laptop or Switch and I’m happy to recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Improved sound from laptop & Nintendo Switch

This little thing did exactly what I needed it to by allowing me to separate the general audio from my PC and then rooting voice chat apps through Bluetooth output back to this device, you can then control the volume of each independently.

It isn’t the best made product in the world, quite plasticy but most importantly it works and I can’t really complain for the price.

Sound quality is plenty good enough and the 7.1 button widens the stereo which is useful in some scenarios.

The main volume is controlled by + and – push buttons and Bluetooth audio volume is controlled by a wheel on the side, quote simple to use.

There’s a Bluetooth disconnect option by holding one of the buttons and also a very basic microphone mute switch.

It does what I needed, I’m happy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does exactly what I wanted

This device allows you to connect your headset and phone to your computer at the same time. The sound quality is such that it makes it easier to hear things like footsteps in a game such as Call of Duty, but the soundscape ends up sounding a bit ‘spaced out’ is all I can describe it as.

The adapter works fine, but it feels very cheaply made.

This is plug and play, worked as soon as I plugged it in and the pc defaulted to it. Sound quality isn’t too bad, there was a bit of hissing at times but in game it doesn’t detract from playing. The 7.1 isn’t amazing but it does offer a fuller sound. The dials feel a bit flimsy but as long as you aren’t too rough with it it should be ok.

A double sided set of instructions in Chinese and English explain what the buttons can control, but with the USB Type A connection, i plugged into my laptop and it recognised it straight away, with my headphones in, the sound was provided straight away.

There is a microphone control button / switch on the side, so it doesnt accidentally get left on or off, which i like, there is a way to use bluetooth to get control over the volume using the small thumb wheel on the side and generally the cable length and build is more than acceptable.

I found it very easy to use, easy to set up, plug and play, as it should be with these things.

I do not have a 7.1 system at present, so i was unable to comment on that particular spec, but the sound and control through the headphone socket was excellent.

Very nice product and clearly very capable.

The built in audio on my computer’s motherboard developed a problem where the sound kept cutting out. This USB sound card is a good alternative. The sound is clear to my albeit ageing ears although I would have liked to be able to get a bit more volume out of it.
It worked without the need to install any drivers.
