I was looking for a cheap android tablet to use for light browsing. This tablet came with android 14 and fits the bill. It even has a micro ssd slot which works with my 1tb card. The screen is quite good and responsive. I have been using it with a generic stylus with no issue. I have played some basic games with no issue but nothing demanding. The only negative has been with half of my comic cbr data files being deleted when I copy them on the micro ssd card. However that seems to be a bug in Android 14. Overall I can recommend this as a decent buy for those looking for a cheap tablet that is more or less on par with an apple tablet from 3 or 4 years ago.

I needed a tablet for uni and this one had good reviews and a decent enough price. It has good picture/video quality, but it does run pretty slow and the battery runs out quite fast. I’ve not played any games on there yet but I’m assuming the battery will drain even faster from that. I also found it difficult to find a screen protector and a case to put it in.

The biggest appeal for me was the use of the latest version of Android, as I wanted something reasonably futureproof because my 6 year old Kindle Fire HD10 was beginning to run slowly at times and was no longer able to run BBC iPlayer, which has been my most frequently used app on the tablet.
It’s still early days but after a few weeks of ownership, I am pleased with the device as it seems to do all I ask of it without having to spend silly sums of money. My primary use is for watching downloaded TV and films when away from home. In this capacity, it works very well. To be honest, the speakers are weak but this is a budget device and I mainly use headphones anyway, so that doesn’t bother me.
The screen seems to be of decent quality and the display itself is clear and bright.
Battery life has been very good so far and the initial set-up after purchase was fairly simple by connecting a USB-C cable to my Android phone to use the same apps and settings.
All in all, very good quality at a reasonable price point. Happy customer so far.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersPurchased this tablet for my daughter’s birthday about a month ago. We find this tablet to be superior to any other tablets that my daughter previously had. The OS is fast and the display resolution impressive and it’s really easy to navigate. The battery life is outstanding and photos are of great quality. We were really going for a decent storage and this tablet offers a very large RAM adequate for storing numerous photos, movies and apps. Really good value for money..

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersI was a bit unsure going into this how good it was going to be given the price and the unknown brand but it’s a surprisingly decent tablet.

A couple of things to be aware of. The 8gb of ram is split between 4gb of ram on the chipset and then the other 4gb comes from the Android feature called ram extension. This pulls the extra memory from the storage on the device essentially creating “virtual ram” which runs slightly slower than full fat dedicated ram but not enough for it to impact day to day tasks. The reason I’m telling you all this is because programs like CPU-Z won’t pickup the extra 4gb of ram which may lead you to believe like I did initially that it doesn’t have the full 8gb as advertised but it does and you can see the full amount in the settings “about this device” section.

Secondly, the processor tops out at 1.8ghz on one of the two clusters of 4 CPU cores with the remaining efficiency cores hitting 1.4ghz. There is a version of this chipset that does run at 2.0ghz but it isn’t the one found in this device. Don’t let this put you off though because the device performs just fine for browsing and watching videos, I don’t know how well it will game, you’ll likely be limited to light gaming but you’ll be just fine for most other things.

The screen is an IPS panel and has decent viewing angles. The screen can feel a bit sticky when navigating which is an unfortunate byproduct of these cheaper devices but it’s workable. It plays YouTube and streaming videos just fine even when they’re set to higher resolutions. I’ve found it plays fine at 1440p and can do 4k quality but sometimes has a touch of slowdown when there’s a lot of movement on screen so I’d recommend sticking with 1440p or 1080p for best results. The screen actually aquits itself pretty well and the image quality looks sharp and clear with okay colours.

The speakers leave a lot to be desired as you’d expect but they do work so they’re okay.

Another tell tale sign of it’s budget leanings is the lack of any sort of fast charging which is a bit of a bummer because in this day and age, standard charging speed feels glacial but luckily, the battery lasts around a day of mixed usage so at least you’ll not be constantly having to reach for the charger.

Lastly, there was zero pre-installed “bloatware” on my device meaning there were no junk apps or software gumming up the works, just a good old clean Android install which is always nice to see.

Overall, I’d recommend this tablet because you’re getting a nice big reasonable quality screen and acceptable performance for a decent amount less than some of the more well known brands especially if you snag it on a sale. If you want a tablet you don’t have to be too precious about or just have a tighter budget, you could do a lot worse than this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly decent for the money!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI recently purchased a 10-inch Tablet running Android 13, which has exceeded my expectations in every way. This tablet is packed with impressive features that make it an excellent choice for both work and leisure.

Firstly, the performance is top-notch. With 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 1TB with a TF card), this tablet handles multitasking effortlessly. The octa-core 2.0GHz processor ensures smooth and responsive performance, whether I’m streaming videos, browsing the web, or playing games.

The display quality is superb. The 10-inch screen provides clear, vibrant visuals that enhance my viewing experience. The tablet supports Widevine L1, allowing me to enjoy high-definition streaming from my favourite platforms without any issues.

Connectivity is another strong point. The dual-band WiFi 6 (5G + 2.4G) offers fast and stable internet connections, making video calls and online activities seamless. Bluetooth 5.0 ensures quick and reliable pairing with other devices, which is particularly useful for my wireless headphones and keyboard.

Battery life is impressive, with the 5000mAh battery lasting through a full day of usage. This is perfect for on-the-go productivity and entertainment without constantly worrying about recharging. The 8MP front and 5MP rear cameras deliver decent quality for video calls and casual photography.

In summary, this 10-inch Android 13 Tablet is a powerhouse of performance and versatility. It’s easy to use, offers great value for money, and has features catering to a wide range of needs. This tablet is a fantastic choice for work, study, or entertainment. Highly recommended!
