If you have children who are interested in football, this is a great toy to get.

It simply pops up meaning it is very quick to put up and take down which is handy if you want to tidy your garden away of an evening or if you want to take it with you to the park.

The goal has 4 different ‘modes’ which means you can keep it interesting as well as improve their football skills. You can use it as just a normal goal or there are covers that attach to the front giving different targets making it more challenging.

Overall, this would make a great toy for a child into football.

Inside the box, everything arrives in a handy yellow carry bag complete with handles. Inside is quite a lot: the main goal surrounds, two two-part props, a bag of “tent pegs”, three hanging “target” spots on different length cords, a target with a single central hole, and a target with six separate holes (not pictured) – plus an instruction leaflet.

The goal is “hinged” and you need to put together the two prop poles, which fit together like tent poles; these pop into pockets which are complete with a zip to ensure they don’t pop back out again. Once inserted, the goal assembly is pretty sturdy (but has plenty of “give” if you accidentally run into it). There are loops through which to insert the four “tent pegs”; depending on your lawn you might need a mallet to hammer these home.

The targets are clipped onto fittings onto the back of the goalmouth; there are lots of these to cater for the various options. They’re positive but quite small and potentially a but fiddly, so changing from one target to another can take a couple of minutes.

All in all, everything is nicely though out and well made, but it’s quite fiddly to erect. All fine if you’re able to leave it up in your garden. But could be a bit frustrating if you have impatient kids waiting for a game (you can of course take the targets down and use it as a normal goal for a kickabout). One thing that is a bit of a pain is retrieving a ball from the back of the net, especially if the goal is pinned to the ground and a “constrictive” goal is in place – tricky to reach it and then manoeuvre it out back through the target hole.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fiddly to put together but sturdy and useful

It is a good product for kids playing with a ball size 3 or less. Looks good quality and the setting up is easy but if we are going to talk about packing it, it’s another history… you will need special training to blend it and put it back in the bag.

Super pop up goal for the garden, park or beach. I like the included targets as they are great for a bean bag toss or competition. It was very simple too set. up but as with most pop ups I struggles to get. it back in the carry bag but that is user error as my daughter. managed it in seconds. The Material is quite strong and the goal stands up well. My grandchildren used a pilate ball as that was light enough for them to kick at the targets but they also enjoyed having a beanbag competition. Great fun for an afternoon in the garden and not restricted to just playing football. A tad on the pricey side but very well made.

I have had several of these goals for young children, all are OK, but I particularly like this one as it is easy to set up and easy to put away, and the instructions for disassembly are easy enough to follow.

The goal comes twisted into a carry bag, but pre-assembled. Simply take it out the bag, take off the elastic strap from around it, and it pops up. Insert the two metal rods, one each side into the zipped section, then you are good to go.

You can use it as a goal, or with various bits clipped into the opening to add a bit of a challenge.

The goal is for small children, it won’t handle the sort of abuse it could get from bigger kids.

Putting it away is simple enough if you follow the instructions, and this makes the goal ready to use quickly, great for summer days out at the park. It could also be used indoors too with care.

This is a brilliant little goal, reasonably well made, and not bad for the money at 36.99.

Ive ordered this for my little boy and it’s perfect size for him (he is 5).
It comes in a compact little bag and folds up quite small.
It’s ideal for talking away on a trip or for a day at the beach for the kids.
It’s made in the same way a pop up tent is so its pretty simple to use.
It takes a few seconds to set up but a little longer to glremember how to fold it.
It comes with clip on accessories that work well and make it better for practicing alone.
There are four pegs in the set aswel so it can be pinned down.
The meriak seems ok and it looks strong.
I’ve not given it 5 stars because I think it’s quite expensive but it works well and looks good.

This is decent quality and size. Portable and good for summer for little ones. Easy to set up, nice colour. Good for gifting also, price a bit expensive for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars “Prefect for summer!”
