How to Plant Red Baron Onion Bulbs:

  1. Choose the Right Time: Plant Red Baron onion bulbs between February and May for optimal growth.
  2. Prepare the Soil: Select a well-drained area with soil rich in organic matter. Loosen the soil to a depth of 6cm for better root establishment.
  3. Planting: Dig holes 6cm deep and space bulbs 20cm apart in rows. Position the bulbs with the pointed end facing upward.
  4. Sunlight Requirements: Ensure the area receives full sun or partial sunlight for at least 6 hours a day to promote healthy growth.
  5. Watering: Water the bulbs thoroughly after planting and keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
  6. Care: Maintain the soil’s moisture and weed regularly. Avoid overwatering to prevent rotting.
  7. Harvesting: Red Baron onions are ready for harvest in approximately 4 months, when the bulbs are firm and fully mature.
