This folding mechanism only works in one direction. When you place a pack in the open compartment and then close the lid, the pack will fall one compartment deeper into the lockable lower compartment – it cannot be removed from the top. For the lower compartment there is a locking function, so that the parcel box can be secured with a padlock (not included) against unauthorised opening of your packages. Your parcel is then ready for you and is protected from all weather until pickup.
