Electric ShowersElectric Showers require cold water only which is heated instantly to provide a hot shower. – An electric shower only heats the water you use once the shower is switched on. Gravity fed hot water system
This system has a cold water tank in the loft or in the top of the airing cupboard and a hot water cylinder below it. The water in the cylinder is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater and fed to taps via a pipe from the top of the cylinder. As the hot water in the cylinder is used up, it is replaced with cold water from the tank above, which in turn is refilled from the mains water supply via a float operated valve. System water pressure is usually low. To give a higher pressure and flow rate from a mixer shower a booster pump can be installed.
Gravity fed hot water system with Booster Pump
This system has a cold water tank in the loft or in the top of the airing cupboard and a hot water cylinder below it. The water in the cylinder is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater and fed to taps via a pipe from the top of the cylinder. As the hot water in the cylinder is used up, it is replaced with cold water from the tank above, which in turn is refilled from the mains water supply via a float operated valve. System water pressure is increased due to the addition of a Booster Pump.
Unvented System
An unvented system has a hot water cylinder that is connected directly to the mains cold water supply and there is no need for a cold water tank in the home. The water is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater. As everything is under the pressure of mains water, the flow rates from taps and showers are much better and a pump is not needed to get a powerful shower. An unvented cylinder can be installed virtually anywhere e.g. in an airing cupboard or garage.
Combination Boiler
A combi – boiler can be located anywhere within the home. More often wall mounted but some are floor mounted. It heats water ‘on demand’ when a hot tap or mixer shower is turned on. Connected directly to the mains cold water supply at high pressure there is no need for a hot water cylinder, cold water tank or shower pump in the home.

2nd Shower we bought in over 12 months change our minds went for a different make and model
It’s been a while since I’ve fitted an electrical shower. Found it easy to fit and nicely surprised of how much hot water was produced
Lovely shower, simple to install (get a plumber to do it for you!). Only issue is that the hot/cold/warm buttons are as you would expect, so don’t burn of freeze by mistake.
Had this shower previously which had started to fail after a few years, as it was the same model it was easy to swap over, good delivery service

Good modern looking shower unit, instructions easy to follow, only slight issue was the inlet 15mm pipe was a little short for a pushin fitting, had to use a compression one.
Easy to install and good selection of temperatures from hot to cold.

I actually ordered wrong type of shower. there was no problem returning for refund. I had never used it .
So far, the variety of settings is keeping the family happy and the pressure is good on the right setting.

Replaced an existing Triton shower unit. Plumbing and electrics in same place as original so dead easy to swap. Good flow rate and the new shower head design gives a good spray pattern. Really pleased with this purchase and at the best price I could find too.

Installation was fairly easy but surface water and electricity feed requires cutting holes in the casing which wasn’t ideal. Once it’s fitted and running, I’d say it’s pretty good. Fast, consistent heating and well controlled phased shutdown.

Bought item to replace a Triton Bewitch that had started to fail. Fitted precisely so ideal for the job. It was a reasonable price and delivered promptly.
Be aware if buying in Eire that the fittings are different sizes.
Used to replace Opal 3. Works well but was necessary to move fixing points and not straight swop.
The Triton shower unit perfectly replaced an older ‘Jade’ model. Both the water inlet fitting and electrical connections were in exactly the same positions as the older unit. In addition, the back plate fitting holes were also in the same positions, which meant that there was no requirement to drill any new fixing holes. The new unit works well and we are very pleased with its performance.

Perfect replacement for old Triton Bezique shower. Wiring and pipework connections all in exactly the same position so an easy job to replace old unit.

his is a direct replacement for the same model that has lasted 8 years, it has an adjustable head with 5 different sprays to suit everyone and a good range of temperatures and is easy to use even for the children.

Great shower easy to fit only spoilt by Amazon not in original packing just In a brown box inside a bigger brown box I was very suspicious of any damage but all seems OK.

Pleased with the overall appearance and function,the shower head gives a nice even flow, but the downside was how ridiculously short the flex was.
Had to adapt the old flex so it could be re used on the new shower.
Am a little puzzled and annoyed why the manufacturers would spoil an otherwise great value for money product by skimping on an important but inexpensive part of the package.
Bought to replace my old Triton Opal shower which eventually packed up after many years of faithful service. Not had it for very long, but very happy so far. Hopefully, it will prove equally robust!
Very good. Delivery delayed by one day but the product is good value. Not as powerful as the previous 10.5Kw shower but it is cheaper.

DELIVERED EARLY. FITTED AND RUNNING FINE. THIS WAS A DIRECT REPLACMENT FOR AN EARLY MODEL OF THIS DESIGN. (12YEARS) MOUNTED ON WALL USING ORIGINAL HOLES. HOWEVER THE SHOWER MOUNTING WAS A DIFFERENT SET UP TO MY ORIGINAL UNIT AND REQUIRED NEW DRILL POSTIONS.

We bought this to replace our original Martinique shower which we had for 6 years, and the fact I would not have to alter the pipe work, it fitted straight on no problems.
Excellent, was a replacement for an identical Triton shower that broke down after 3 years but this seems more powerful, the new shower head design Is a great improvement on the old one.
The price on Amazon was the cheapest I could find, fantastic service from Amazon as usual.
We are so pleased with this shower and at such a good price too. Temperature doesn’t alter when using other items ( washing machine dishwasher etc) either would recommend

This was to replace a 9.5kw Martinique shower which we had had for a considerable time. It fitted straight into the place of the old shower and all that I had to do was to replace the 40 amp mcb with a 50 amp one. Altogether, a very simple and easy job. The shower itself produces plenty of hot water and is a pleasure to use.

Does what it says on the box; a direct fit in place of my old Triton 10kW shower, with water connection and mounting holes an exact copy. On the plus side it also seems to perform slightly better in terms of hot water delivery. On the negative side is the chrome front panel that shows every water mark and thus has to be polished; a silly idea.
A great and perfect replacement to my original Trident Opal shower. No extra fittings or holes required and very easy to fit following the clear and concise instructions.

cover which screws go into to hold it on lucky my old one which it was replacing had them so swapped clips on to new one otherwise

This was just what we wanted to replace our old Triton Aquatronic 4 electric shower, It had the same foot print so no need for much messing about . It is just as good and we are so pleased to have found it. Rang Triton and it was 30 more ofthem so went for this one.
I needed a replacement for the old shower unit., which was about 12 years old. To my delight it fitted perfectly onto the water connection and the electric cable, so I had it installed in less than 20 minutes. We are delighted with it.

This is the secondTriton Martinique shower we have purchased. Very pleased with all aspects, e.g. looks, performance, etc. Considering buying a third to put to one side for the future.
I bought this shower to replace my Triton T100i which I had for many years, as stated in the reviews that I read on this site it fitted exactly in the same place and covered the existing space left by my old shower.Therefore did not have to disturb my tiles but I did keep my existing extension rail that is fitted to the tiles because the new one was a slightly different size and fitting, just attached the new shower head and hose to my existing one. I am very happy with the shower it works great and looks smart as well.
bought this to replace my old shower same model, because of the location of the pipe and cable entry had to be the same, it was more expensive bought from Argos for 170 it was Triton and after just 2 years it died, hope this one lasts longe
Bought this to replace an older model that was fitted when we first moved into this place ten years ago. Took advice from our plumber who suggested getting an updated model to save having to do any new fixtures as he felt this was as good as it gets for the money.
It’s in my hubby’s bathroom and he is very happy with it although he says the buttons could have been designed better because they are in an odd order and although they work fine, they don’t depress a lot or click, so you’re not sure that you’ve pushed them enough.
I bought this as my old shower had broken down. It has similar fittings to my old one, so my tiled wall still looks immaculate. It looks good in my bathroom and does the job. Happy !
Replaced an older version of the Martinique with this newer model and was not dissappointed.
All the connections were still in the exact same place as the original ….even down to the fixing holes.
Good 5-way variation on the shower head and very easy to understand instructions…..both operational and connection.
Cant go wrong for the money.
This is an ideal replacement for the old Triton Opal,water and electrical connections were exactly the same even the screw holes were the same position except one but you cant have everything.
The rail and head is an updated version and will need alteration.
The shower overall is what you expect from Triton a good unit.
Easy to fit, easy to maintain, and does the job when it comes to getting you nice and clean. Would recomend

Bought this shower when my Triton Opal broke down. The Martinique is like for like with the Opal but with an updated frontage. The shower is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone needing a new shower.
