This pressure can’t be compared to a car jet wash for its power. However, it is suitable to use and it does use pressure enough to clean wheel brake dust. It also washes off bird droppings and I have found useful for cleaning windows of my property a bonus that I never thought about. Battery lasted on one for the car wash with second as a back up. Again my car is a Mazda 2 not a medium sized car but 2 batteries should be sufficient for a bigger car.

At initial handling of the Cordless Hydroshot you could be forgiven for thinking it lightweight; however, there is nothing lightweight about it’s performance – within the bounds of it’s description. The product is simple to assemble and to reconfigure [if, like me, you bought accessories]; the operation is both straightforward and effective; and the multiple settings for intensity make it ultra-versitile. I have used it to wash the car – it’s great as the various settings enable intense ‘blasting’ of the underbody or a more gentle rinse-action. I bought 2 batteries although the battery pack is so quick to recharge that I wonder whether I will ever take advantage of the double purchase. Don’t expect the product to be something it is not. It is not a high intensity washer for historical and ingrained staining of a patio. Nonetheless, it will clear lighter grime. I recommend the product – use it for it’s intended purpose and not for doing those tougher jobs that only a more powerful washer can possibly achieve.

Purchased this pressure cleaner to wash my car. The cleaner provides more than enough pressure, I draw water from a couple of buckets and battery life is not an issue and it is a lot easier/quicker than using a sponge! It is not as powerful as a mains pressure washer but is more than sufficient washing cars/bikes etc. where mains services are not available. I would thoroughly recommend!

I did some research before I brought it. And from the specs this is the most powerful in the wireless category. When I actually used it, it didn’t let me down. Most of the time I use this as a replacement of the wire one. The power is the most concerned bit for the wireless washer, and this is a good choice!

Was apprehensive after reading reviews. Nothing to fear. Bought to use to clean boat where there is no power and water within easy reach. Worked great battery lasted longer than expected. After a charge in the clubhouse and refill of water barrel was able to finish cleaning the bottom of the boat a 23ft sail boat covered in a seasons fresh peaty water mank. Look forward to testing it cleaning off the local swallows deposits kindly left all over the decks.

This could have had more pressure bar power but overall works well for car cleaning and removal of surface green algue from paving slabs. Also very good for mood removal in bathroom grout tiles.

So I bought this pressure washer as I live in a coach house with no outside tap, it has been a god send I got to admit! Ok it’s not as powerful as a Karcher but if you are in the same boat as me it’s amazing.

I have used everything included in the kit and it works great, it’s also good for watering the grass if water isn’t easily accessible.

Would highly recommend the product and Worx brand.

I love this cordless pressure washer. I use it to wash my car. It is very easy to use and pressure is sufficient for washing, cleaning and for watering plants.

Bought this for use “off grid” and found it to be good little pressure washer when you have no access to power or water.
Using it with a water container, found it ideal to clean a caravan, using around 30 litres to foam, scrub and then rinse. Everything you need is included, the only extra you might want would be an extension for using with the brush.
Battery life is absolutely fine, had no issues with it.
Whilst the power isn’t as good as a mains unit, which is no surprise, it’s perfectly adequate.

Having been tempted into buying the Hydroshot by a forum on Pistonheads (don’t look, you’ll spend all your money!) I must admit I am pleased and a little surprised at how well it works.
Don’t expect high pressure like a Karcher pressure washer or similar, at least not when sucking water from a bucket, but for car cleaning, jetting out gutters and cleaning exterior window frames it has proved very effective. Do note, however, that you need to have Worx batteries already or be prepared to buy a kit with batteries included.

I bought this item so I can clean my caravan which is in a secure area. So far I’ve used it on a large Citreon van and my sons car, both came up well and plenty of battery life left. Having read other reviews all I can say it’s not a Karcher but it’s very good, especially if you haven’t got access to 240v power. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Have owned many pressure washers and we all know what they are capable of but as small portable lightweight washers go there is none better than this don’t be thinking this has the power of a mains washer it hasn’t but for light cleaning and rinsing perfect and better than I have owned in the past!

I find it so useful for cleaning up around the yard after my hens. Also ideal for use with snow foam to clean the cars. It is in use a number of times a day, how did I manage without it? Extra versatile having spare battery and portability.

Brilliant clip on your garden hose and go.
Powerful enough to ruin my new pattern concrete patio / path way that only been down a couple of weeks.
Came with 2 batteries good because they go flat quick with continuous use. Came with a pump hose which you can put it a bucket. I used in hot tub. To help empty and blast path away same time.

    Def get one

Guys if you are buying this to replace a full size pressure washer you will be sorely disappointed it is not capable of producing those sort of pressures. However if you are looking for a portable go to for a quick rinse or wash off this is a great bit of kit and has managed to do everything I’ve used it for so far. Not sure if it’s 10 x stronger than a garden hose though. think that might a bit of an exaggeration.

This is a fully portable light power washer. It’s powerful enough to remove bird droppings from cars and headstones. It is not designed or meant to be a heavy duty power washer. Providing you assemble it correctly it provides enough power for most jobs. It will use a good bit of water. It will slurp through a couple of litres of water in about a minute and battery life does seem to be at least adequate perhaps even good.

If you are looking after your car, but you are having issues with water and energy supply this is an amazing idea. Don’t expect miracles as this is a portable device, but if your car does not have a 2cm of grime or anything on the paint you can easily wash your car with no issues at all. (Even with 2cm of grime you could still do it, but it will take more time and more water to do so). I just tried it today and guess what, forgot to charge the battery but still managed to rinse, wash and rinse the car again with just a one bucket of water. I would definitely recommend this produc

Great product! I mainly got it to wash cars and it does 2 cars and some on a full battery (40 mins). Though I will look to purchase another battery I think. I can’t emphasise how easy this makes cleaning a car – then faffing about with a mains powered pressure washer. It is quick to use, seems quite well built and I hope it lasts! Don’t bother looking at alternatives as I have already been there. This is miles better then 620/625/629 hydroshots and really everyone should have one.

It’s early days as I’ve only had this a week but so far it’s been great. I’ve blasted off the patio with it(I usually use a Karcher but this is so much less hassle and almost as effective). I used it to spray bug killer over our apple tree and it was perfect for the job. Its next job is to wash down our beach hut which is really what I bought it for. We’re very impressed and hopefully it’ll last a while.

Don’t expect the same performance as most mains powered washers as you won’t get it. You also need the extra rotating jet if you want acceptable performance. My Wife found it easier to use than mains powered jetters as there’s no cable to drag around and no big machine. I expect the included adapter to handle jobs where’s there’s no mains water is useful for some but not in my case.

Really enjoy using this. Bought it as have no water tap supply outside. Washes the car perfectly. I use ECO mode to rinse the car as it does not deplete the water source too quickly. Normal operation cleans well and has enough pressure to remove bird droppings and bugs. 2L bottle attatchment is handy but i found it drains too quickly to be an effective solution. The battery life is more than enough to clean my large estate car with one full charge. Cleaned patio furniture very well.

This is a powerful and very adaptable pressure washer which I bought to use on my motorhome whilst travelling. It is not a substitute for a mains powered washer but the ability to fill up a bucket and wash the van off-grid is fantastic. I think this is a cracking tool, I have bought the shampoo bottle and the best accessory, the flexible head, which transforms the washer. The battery lasts for two washes of my 8m van but I have another (non OEM) battery which is as good as the Worx one for extended use. Highly recommended.

The main thing to be aware of – this runs off a bottle or bucket or barrel of standing water using the supplied hose with integrated filter, It’s not designed to connect to a (unfiltered) hose, so better for smaller portable jobs than a hose-connecting washer.

I used this to clean the headstone on grave, also bought a high pressure nozzle, with out the nozzle the washer was good but if you clean a path or stone out wheels of a car you might enjoy the pressure and wide cleaning angel. But the washer is good, I also used it to clean a green house.

Would say a 4ah battery but can work with the normal 2ah batteries as well.

Read all the reviews and decided to buy as we are pestered by a vibrant rookery. Spring is always a messy time.
The complete package is excellent. Although not cheap.
The pressure although not massive is enough to remove almost all that the rooks leave us. The battery could be better but lasts well.
So, all round a good piece of kit.

It is light weight, it is not the most powerful jet wash but it dies the job. You get through a large bucket of water very quickly! The option to use a fizzy drinks bottle not worth it emptied in an instant. Battery life not bad. Insignia sized vehicle took one battery. Washed off loose dirt one bucket gone and one third of battery used. Them covered car in Foam/cleaner and cleaned car by hand, cleaned wheels and wheel arches second bucket done. Rinsed whole car third bucket done and battery nearly finished job done

I was very sceptical whether a battery powered pressure washer could do the job I wanted, but bought this for the ability to use buckets of warm water as the source rather than connecting a hose to a mains powered unit. To my surprise this unit was powerful and more than capable of doing the job. Two 10ltr buckets give at lease 20 minutes of cleaning and the battery still has nearly 50% charge left. A valued piece of kit now, wouldn’t be without it!

Bought the smaller attachment so it isn’t as powerful on the dog. Ideal for when dogs get really muddy.
I tried it on the car it used a lot more water than I thought it would but if you have a big bin that will easily clean the car. I just used fairy liquid mixed with water in the canister provided and it covered the car first in thick soapy foam
    Very impressed
Ideal if we have a hosepipe ban just stick the hose in waterbut
We did buy this for the dog mainly but it’s so easy to use on my patio and cleaning the conservatory, brilliant for bikes
We spent time looking for this and we are very happy with this product.
We are going to buy a Jerry can and put hot tap water in so when we have been on our long muddy walks we can shower her down with warm water.

The product arrived earlier than quoted on the Amazon Website to my Nominated Post Office. Well packaged, Excellent product but the only down side was the instruction leaflet. I had to go on to youtube to work out how to use the product, so the leaflet supplied was not very Helpful. Excellent in cleaning my car and have not tried anything else yet. If you purchase this product you must remember to run all of the water out of the tube that goes in the bucket to pick up the water. The only other down side was the folder able bucket which does not allow as much sucking up of water, as it is not deep enough. To over come this I have a large 5L Container which was part of a hand pump spray for car cleaning, also bought from Amazon. This works much better. Overall very satisfied with the Product and would buy again.

This product although very good overall does have some flaws which I think need to be addressed.
The soap dispenser when filled goes through the bottle contents in no time at all. The brush attachment will lock in position upon assembly but when using it to clean the car tends to twist and detach itself very easily from the main unit (very irritating).

This product is perfect for what I bought it for. Fill a couple of buckets of water, and clean both cars without the hassle of unrealing 30metres of hose pipe, and plugging in the karcher pressure washer. The battery lasts long enough to wash about 3 cars if needed. It couldn’t replace a mains powered karcher for jobs like cleaning a patio, but its brilliant for general smaller jobs like cars and windows

This doesn’t of course have the power of a fully mains 120+bar machine -but you often don’t need that power. This scores heavily on its portability -it will do the car/bike garden cleaning etc. quite adequately and I’ve had success in path cleaning. It really pays its way on the allotment where of course the mains machines can’t tread. I particularly wanted the bottle attachment -which of course makes it even more portable – but haven’t had a lot of luck with that. Maybe its me but a fitted full 2 litre plastic bottle seems very unwieldly – and furthermore the spray when using the bottle attachment doesn’t seem as powerful -again this could be pilot error and I’m working on it. Overall a cracking piece of kit.

Really easy to use and assemble. Not the most pressure but gets rid of light dirt from my car with rinse or snow foam attachment. Sometimes need to use waterless wash for thinker dirt but this gets rid of most of it. Great as no plug needed. Battery lasts ages can get a rinse, snow foam and rinse out of it plus just about another rinse and wash after.

I read the reviews on these and I thank you all, if we didn’t have them we would have a pile of useless crap in the garage.
The pressure as reported by other reviewers isn’t fantastic, but cleans the salt off my motorcycles and if you adjust the pressure nozzle it does give it a bit more humph. I like the fact I can use any water source as I’m on water meter, so I use water butts.
The small battery last around 20 mins, the big one I purchased last around 30-40 mins
Overall I like the thing, easy to set up and put away.

Light, no cables, can run off a bucket of water or a hose. Perfect for jobs like cleaning windows or washing the car. Great portable power washer, battery life is good and power is good however nowhere near as powerful as a mains fed unit. It does consume a lot of water so from a 25 litre drum I can get enough to wash a car, connection up to a garden hose is obviously better however this does not improve the water pressure as I had expected. Overall much easier than dragging out my Karcher and hose and extension lead just to wash a car.

This is for the brushless model E630.
    Cannot comment on the others.
It’s obviously not a full on pressure washer!
And it doesn’t say it is anyway.
For me it’s absolutely worth it as my garage is not directly at my house and also there is no mains or water supply at the garage!
I can still see occasional use for it once i move to a place with a different layout!
You can wash your house windows, gutters etc.
    Im happy.

    *Update:

The pressure is enough to clean cars, bicycle, motorcycle etc.
Washing a small size, quite dirty car drained 1 bar out of the 3 bars on the battery.
You will need a jerrycan of at least 25lt (circa 10-15).
I have gone trough about 20lt on a single wash.
Don’t bother with 5lt buckets etc.

  59. Brianne says:

I leave this set up ready to use in my garage, the garage has no services as it is some distance from my house, which is on a corner so not safe to use a mains pressure washer. The pressure is ideal for cleaning my motorbike as too high a pressure can damage bearings etc. My car will need the old bucket and sponge to remove the most stubborn road grime and salt.

Great for washing family car and general cleaning, decent pressure, uses about 3 buckets of water to wash car, much less than using a hose on its own. Good pressure, not as good as a mains pressure power washer due to a smaller bore hose, but it’s great for people without an outside water source. Decent battery power, enough to wash 2 cars on one charge. One hour charge as well, bonus. Recommend

Easily enough power to wash a car/van, I used a 42l bucket with warm tap water around full, full battery, I jetted car, snow foamed and rinsed with Hydroshot and I’d say there was still half a bucket of water and 1 bar of battery used. Happy with purchase, ease of use and portability, would recommend..

No dislikes. It does exactly what I expected. I still have to sample the power on really muddy kit but so far it has done everything I needed – mud off rotovator and lawnmowers, mud off Landrover. Tried to clean patio slabs but probably lacks power for really dirty slabs – will try again but perhaps some detergent would help and be fairer to the pressure cleaner.

Reason for purchase to wash my car. I am able to use warm water to rinse before and after soaping and this makes a big difference to final result with less effort.
Only dislike is the plastic bucket / hose retaining clip. Item is useless and does not hold or secure the Worx hose at all to the water bucket rim. Inconvenient and should be replaced or upgraded by Worx. Single battery life very good and quick charger supplied works well. Snow foam applicator supplied does a good job.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersNormally washing the car is a long drawn out affair and a real flaff hauling a hose over 60-70 feet from the outside tap to the roadside ensuring no one trips over the hose as it crosses the pavement and me getting sued then winding it all up again plus setting up and putting away a snow foamer etc.
Phew it makes tired just writing this thinking about it.
That is until I came across this beauty, tried it out yesterday on my other halfs Corsa.
One bucket of pre mixed car shampoo and one clean bucket of water and away I went playing around with the hydroshot.
Initial thoughts are that although the hydroshot has a good force of water coming out of it and gets rid of heavy soiling from driving down muddy country roads you will still need to give your car the once over with a lambs wool mit to get the real ingrained road soiling off then rinse off. It is still much more powerful than using my garden hose, power wise it sits between using a normal hose and a jet washer which I tested it alongside out the back washing some green algae of concrete and it wasn’t that far behind the electric powered jet washer in my mind although saying that my jet washer is a cheapo one.
Overall I’m really happy with it and it has made cleaning the cars so much easier and quicker. Took me the quarter of the time it normally does and only took the two buckets to clean the Corsa.
The 4AH battery still had two bars showing and using this is easy peasy, have now ordered a snow foam attachment and the shorter Lance to get more practical use out of it.
Edit: Now have the short Lance which is a must have to help with cleaning things like muddy boots etc.
I have noticed some people complaining about a lack of power, this is not true and I can only think that they either have a faulty unit, have it on eco or as I suspect haven’t let the unit prime itself properly, it takes a good 30-40 seconds for the water to build power so please bare that in mind.
Also some have mentioned that their garden hose is more powerful, well not where I live it ain’t so that depends on location and if you’re lucky with high water pressure or not.

    Edit2: 22/3/21
Still happy with this, bought some 25l containers which are a godsend in place of 5l buckets just super heavy (for me) when full.
Another way I found by saving cleaning time was to half fill the snow foam bottle with demon shine and half with snow foam so first off spray down car to get initial crud off then snow foam, whilst car is foamed up go over it with a lambs wool mitt or similar then hose off and buff with microfiber clothes, car comes up beautiful and looks good for longer.

Best thing I have bought so useful and easy to use.

Not as good as a mains jet wash but very good
to use washing car, shoes 100 of uses. Simple to set up.

Used serval times and much better than expected. Obviously not as powerful as a mains operated one, but that’s to be expected. Great for cleaning car, garden furniture, front door, patio etc. Battery seems to last ages and having two, there’s more than enough power to do most jobs. You need a lot of water, as a bucket is gone in a couple of minutes. I used a large 25 gallon container, which saves lots of trips to the tap.

Good with a bucket if you have no nearby tap. A dirty car needs the brush then the jet which is just powerful enough. The bottle attachment did not fit the first two different water bottles I bought, next up is a Volvic.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExcellent product if you have a boat, no where near the strength of a conventional jet wash

Nice cordless pressure washer, it’s not that powerful, it would take an awful long time to clean the patio but in saying that, it is good for cleaning wheelie bins, ok using it with a car foam shampoo and general garden washing down of pots etc.

I purchased this to wash my mountain bike and motorbike, but have ended up using it for loads of tasks. It’s so convenient to just drop the hose into a bucket of water and wash anything anywhere. I have washed 3 bikes and 1 motorbike and it still hasn’t got close to using the full charge. If you are looking for a jet wash to clean off heavily spoiled paving or decking, then this probably isn’t powerful enough, but for general cleaning it’s amazing.

Does exactly what I bought it for, cleaning the patio and also my dad’s headstone at the cemetery. Downside is it takes half hour to charge the battery and it lasts for only 25 mins. Would be beneficial to supply a further battery with this product. The 5 gallon tank empties after just 5 mins but overall I’m very happy with it. It is quite expensive but it is just what I wanted. Read the reviews including the negative ones and have to say I’m glad I ignored them. Patio and headstone are grubby and it’s strong enough to clean them, doesn’t have the same pressure as a jet wash but they have electric and water running from the mains

An absolutely brilliant bit of kit.
I use the Hydroshot more for cleaning my cars both with using the collapsible bucket and sometimes my water hose.
It’s relatively quiet and very light and is very quick to pack away when your finished with it!
Hilariously, I keep mine in a wicker picnic hamper box as all of the components fit snugly.
Highly recommended!! – the Hydroshot, not the picnic hamper 🙂

I bought this item to clean my “Into Blinds” and I must say this item is excellent.

Battery charging is very quick and the life if the battery is great before recharging!

Downside: Not all the tools are supplied I had to go and buy the tools I actually needed!

Excellent for a variety of cleaning jobs e.g. patio spot cleaning, removing bird droppings, roof tiles etc
Initially had an issue with the spray head, reported problem to WORX who sent a replacement within the week.
The brushless motor version is not the quitest but overall I would highly recommend.

Handy gadget to have made cleaning our boat easier where access to main water is not possible
Improvement to the design would be if the jet head would fit into the handle I.e not using lance extension or have a shorter lance pipe included it can be a bit cumbersome when all fitted together
Photo shows a short lance but not in the kit II received

    Perfect, why wouldn’t you…

The battery life is good, I’ve charged both batteries and still after two car washes one of them is 65% full, and the other hasn’t been used at all…

My car dealership recommended that I don’t aggressively power wash my new car ~ this is perfect.

    Good solid quality construction.
    Fast delivery too.

Excellent piece of kit. I jet washed the car washed it and the rinsed of with the jet wash and it still had 2 thirds it battery power left.
Not as powerful as a mains jet washer but more than powerful enough for doing the car. Wish I’d bought one earlie

Great pressure for washing the Motorhome not too fierce and plenty of spray options.
Obviously not as powerful as a mains washer but adequate for washing a car.
Handy for using from a bucket or river as well as hose fed from a tap.
Washed the Motorhome and still had enough charge left in the battery to do it again.

Bought to power wash lots of things. One battery for various tools is a great idea. Only reason I gave 4 stars over all is to get a jet of water strong enough to get rid of ground in dirt I had to put it to the narrowest setting which took a lot longer. It is effective though and I love the fact that I can use water from any source. I put the hose in a bucket and it worked fine.

This is exactly what I have been wanting for quite some time. I have a pressure washer but the time it takes to set up for a small job seem silly. I had been waiting until I saw the Works Hydroshot on offer, so snapped it up p when I saw this bundle on offer at 120.00. So far so good. I didn’t expect the power of a electric one.

Used this to wash my car.
Ran it on high power all the way through. Washing off dirt first, then used the soap foaming attachment.
Washed with sponge then rinsed off with lance. In all the pressure washer was in constant use for about 30 mins.
The battery still showed 2 dots on the power meter.
Simply the best battery powered pressure washer you can buy.
    Ideal for car washing.

his is a really amazing tool if you buy it knowing it is never going to be as powerful as a conventional power washer it is perfect for the job battery last long enough to wash both of my cars and gets the job done pretty well stronger than juts using a normal hose pipe

I really like this product, has more pressure than I expected doesn’t leak and on a full charge the battery only drains about half after washing my car with a full snow foam pre wash shampoo and rinse. Would recommend the shampoo bottle attachment though as the hydroshot can only draw fresh water without causing damage to the unit so don’t put soap in the bucket! You have been warned.

After reading some of the reviews I was really sceptical but decided to give it a try. I’m happy I took the risk.
Originally my goal was to clean my commute bike but after assembling it I decided to try to clear the grime on the balcony floor. It works perfectly.

Goes without saying that this is not like a power washer that you connect to the mains, but ultimately it gets the job done. I can’t understand what some people expected from a battery powered jet washer.

Does what it says on the tin, not as powerful as a plug in good Quality machine
Having said that it’s more powerful than the economy plug in machines.

Portable easy to use, for mountain biking, dinghy sailing. Also easier to use quickly on the cars.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usersi immediately tried the bottle attachment after the battery was fully charged i was so disappointed i tried the Eco/power button but to no avail a water pistol had more power than this….i was going to send it back as useless then i tried the main hose and low and behold power it works … the difference was there was no air getting into the bottle so it was creating a vacuum which stopped the hydroshot performinese things g properly to test this i put a screw hole in bottle (old cider bottle) and yes it works perfectly if only the instructions told us

I got the brushless version when on a deal and it was 100% worth it. I live in a mid floor apartment and have a garage but no power or water out there. In comes the Hydroshot and problem solved! I will say of you’re expecting full on pressure washer power then thats not going to happen, but for cleaning the motorbike or car its really great. I would advise getting some decent sized water containers for using with this as it advertises 210l/hr and i it will indeed run through a 10l container in a few of minutes.

So to sum up: if you live in an apartment and dont have an outside water supply i would definitely recommend this!

I went for the newer brushless version despite having read no reviews on it. Only the U.S. version with the twin batteries.

I thought I’d try this over the older Hydroshot as it came bundled with the 4ah battery and the fast charger.

It’s still not a replacement for a full pressure washer, but I like to detail my car and have no access to outside power or water. As that requires a number of stages (foam, rinse, soap, wash, rinse) I though the 2ah might be insuffecient with a long charge time.

Overall it does the job nicely. It’ll go through about 5 Meguiars 22 gallon buckets of water with one battery which is plenty enough for two regular car washes.

It’s not the last word in build quality if you are used to more prosumer power tools like Dewalt/Makita/Milawalkee. The plastic fixing holding hose filter snapped in two on first use. But it’s holding together and jubillee clip will sort it permanently.

I tried a snow foam attachement with little expectation and it doesn’t really work. Works nicely as a soap dispenser though.

You might have better luck with a hose attached, but it you have this a regular power washer would be better value.
