cons This does not only apply to IEGeek camera but all security cameras when camera is pointing fully left or right it will not pick up motion from opposite direction many times I have walked or driven onto my drive and the camera has not picked me up (because it was pointing in opposite direction) for me all cameras should have 360 motion detection maybe a sensor at bottom of camera to over come this ??? but still an outstanding camera
First time I’ve used one of these, but wanted to get a CCTV camera for the front to see who was letting their dogs foul the public right of way outside our fence.
So read the reviews and seen nothing but good points about the use and set up.
So I took the plunge and glad that I did.
Easy to set up, easy to install, and the picture quality is brilliant day and night, and to top it off is doesn’t get affected by the weather which is a good thing.
You can speak to people outside and set of an alarm to deter intruders if needed brilliant. Plus added values you can record, take photos , and it pans,tilt,zoom, and will track people when they pass Infront what more can you ask for in a camera.
I would highly recommend this camera to anyone who needs to set up security cameras on their property first class.

Please don’t waste your time, energy, sanity on this camera, all it’s done since it’s been up just after Xmas is cause me rage.
What is the point in having a camera if it’s constantly not loading, constantly not recording (even tho you pay the prescription) never opens when you want it to, offline, online, offline again.
The bits it did record cut off half way through.
Customer service is no good because you can’t get anyone.
And when you do they tell you to reset it. Well yes I’ve done that 12 thousand times.
Installed, reset, configured all the damn things a normal person would do and yet nooooooo
I only added 3 pics but I have loads.
I needed a camera for important reasons and it’s failed miserably.

Had a problem charging the camera with the solar after several emails/ attempts to sort out the issue, the company have arrange to send me a replacement solar panel. Easy to set up, took 20minutes from start to finish. Highly recommend
Super little camera!
I’ve been researching cctv cameras for months, and there are so many with different features and price levels I didn’t know where to start. Eventually saw this one and for the price thought it was worth a punt. Tested it in my porch for a few days before permanently fixing outside and I couldn’t be happier! The tracking is top notch and picks up everyone walking by and follows them. The sound detection picks up even the birds at 4.30 every morning . The picture quality is great for the price, even on colour mode. It stores to SD card (and/or cloud) and you can access all recordings remotely from the app without having to remove the sd card again. Only use a 64gb card though – it doesn’t seem to like anything higher than that! 64gb on all day colour recording lasts around 4/5 days and will then loop record continuously. Fab for the price and I’ll be buying another shortly to cover my back garden.
Good camera
Too short to write full review,but at the moment works as expected. Battery level is always 100%, not sure is it because it is always fully charged due to solar panel or it is just a software bug. I need to use it longer to understand it. Overall good product.

I have tried a few security cameras over the years and had different styles of camera,i saw this camera and i ordered it to see what it would be like and i am very pleased with it,I can be miles away from this camera and with the app i can look and observe night or day, excellent camera and does it’s job well, thank you!
Absolutely brilliant !!
I received this camera two days ago and mounted it yesterday. Since playing about with its different settings , I think it is absolutely brilliant. The resolution of video is excellent and the solar panel seems to keep the charge topped up after initial charge from the mains . The sensitivity of sensor can be adjusted to suit your need and situation. Highly recommended indeed !!! Will be investing in another for the other side of my house now .
ieGeek cameras are always superb value for money
I have had an IE20 model for a number of years and found it to be very good, and have persuaded a few friends and neighbours to follow my lead, as it is a far cheaper solution than a popular doorbell brand currently offer. However, I think the recent bad weather finally got the better of the IE20 camera, so I opted to replace it and upgrade to the IE66 with 6Mb resolution. This was a significant improvement on the IE20, but I found I could not use the IE66 model with the CamHipro application on a phone or PC. You have to use an ieGeek app that has less functionality. I have another older ieGeek camera in use, and want to use both cameras on the same app. If an IE66 is your first and only ieGeek camera then you may be OK. I’ve returned the IE66 as incompatible, and purchased another IE20 that I’ve since installed and that works fine.
Great product.
Battery runs low quickly but possibly because of how busy it is where I live and it is triggered a lot. The purpose for this camera for me was for night monitoring mainly for 2 cars that is regularly being broken into . It triggers a sound and spot light alarm if any motion of humans lingering is defected and notification is sent to your mobile. It records the motion for the time you have set it to. The skip rats who have been causing alot of costly damage to our property are becoming aware of the camera fitted and the recordings at night are becoming a rarity.
IE66 (Model F300) is a huge improvement on previous models
Bought this model (IE66 F300) as a replacement for a IE30 model which produced many false alarms when nothing was happening. This model seems to have a much better AI chip and Human Motion Detection reasoning. I am only getting alerts when someone enters the frame and it is performing well. The 6MP image is excellent and a great improvement on the IE30 in all light conditions.
My only criticism is that there is no open to select and store a zoomed and positioned specific area for alerting which the previous model had. All good apart from that.
Top camera!!!
The camera was easy to set up and install with the step by step guide. App is simple to use and offers a range of things to tinker with like volume, alarm area, lighting etc. Camera allows me to keep a view on my dog kennel, night and day vision is great, can zoom in via pinching screen which greatly assists. Am so impressed with it I’ve ordered a second one to go by the back door, which will allow full garden coverage and peace of mind, a top product for the money !!!
I absolutely like the ieGeek 4MP 360 Outdoor Security Camera. The camera is well-made and has amazing picture/video quality. Since it’s a 4MP camera, you can zoom to a reasonable extent without sacrificing many details. The good thing is that it’s PTZ (Pan, Tilt, and Zoom), allowing you to rotate the camera in almost every direction you like.
You can connect this camera either via a LAN cable and plug it into a DVR or just pop in a micro SD card, connect the power adapter, and configure it with your Wi-Fi. The second method is simple and cost-effective. You don’t need a DVR; just install multiple cameras and link them to your ieGeek account, and you can access them from anywhere. Since these cameras support micro SD cards, you don’t have to buy cloud storage. You can view the recordings from anywhere via the internet. Isn’t it a cool feature?
I’ve been using it for a week now and am quite satisfied with the purchase. I have even compared the image quality of this camera with traditional CCTV cameras and reached the conclusion that this camera is better for various reasons.
Really nice camera
I have managed to add this camera to my qnap surveillance station app using onvif. To enable onvif you need to install iegeek camera app and enable onvif option. You can then manage it via onvif manager software. However I am unable to use the ptz manual controls via qnap app. No idea why. The camera works well and has decent night vision and infra red. The resolution is nice and crisp and colour night vision is decent. Once I can get ptz manual controls working il add another star.
Better than Expected
Can’t believe how good these cameras are, we installed one at the front and one at the back of our house, the range is excellent, everything is so clear, the app works just fine too. The cameras have everything you need, speakers, microphones and lights, you control them via the app from the armchair.
Just one little tip; the day we set them up, each time I opened the app it showed the camera’s as offline and then after a while picked them up again. Opening and closing the app didn’t solve it, but this did, turn your phone off completely once you’ve set everything up. Restart the phone a minute later which resets everything and every app, perfect, as soon as the app is open now they are continuously connected and online. This product is Highly Recommended.
It's good.
Well this is a good bit of kit. Being a sixty odd year old bloke I struggled to set it up. Luckily I’ve got a wizard IT neighbour who sussed it in no time. I’m loving it. So far.
Reliable and excellent value.
This is the 5th iGeek camera that I’m using, 4th PTZ.
The first camera was a little tricky to set up, but after getting familiar with the software the rest were easy. The customer services are fast and efficient. I had a little trouble with my solar PTZ Camera, reference the siting of the panel. But it was an easy alteration to the system to enable the panel to work at 100% efficiency.
I have bought this camera just before going in holiday for my peace of mind.The picture quality is brilliant and even zooming in a decent distance keeps a good useable picture. The app was easy to set up on my phone and the installation of the camera was simple,no cables or wires needed.So far the battery life has been good.Voice communication enabled, bright LED light and audible alarm all available to use or disable if so wished. Brilliant product and well worth the money paid for it.
Quick response for a battery cam, reliable wifi
My second iegeek cam, floodlight one for front, this one for the back. Both very good. Not used solar charger on back one because of less sun. Powerbank does the job of charging . No false alerts at all. Pan and tilt on live viewing take a couple of seconds to respond,but it is in back garden ,a good distance from router.not tried siren yet but front cam siren works well if needed. Battery lasts longer than i expected even on qhd setting. Garden lights and neighbours lighting has no effect on camera, good clear picture. Good black and white viewing at night , once triggered by human detection lights come on for night colour very quick.overall so happy to have bought this 2k solar cam .
Generally a good camera;
It is quiet big but the functions make it worthwhile.
Mine has lost the memory settings 2 or 3 times which is irritating but easily replaced using my phone. The “follow a person” feature is good, but not perfect, it has got stuck on full rotation once or twice instead of returning to position 1.
I have this camera to enhance an existing cctv setup, I couldn’t get the camera to show up with the others on a monitoring screen however for more than a second unfortunately, I tried several times and gave up. The camera is still worth having though and I would recommend it despite the above.
Fantastic facilities
I had to get these camera’s based on recommendations, straight out of the box ,the first thing that impressed me was the solid construction and weight of the unit. Because of a break-in some time ago and being a vulnerable pensioner,( all old people,can’t physically do what they did ten years previous), once mounted and the programs set, it was put into position. I love the fact that you dictate the area’s that will set off the motion detection and combined light’s/alarm etc no more false alarms, it is very very sensitive even on the lower settings, picture quality is excellent, a slight bit out of facial focus compared to some other makes, the big value item is the fact that a128gb SD card will provide all the storage needed, save’s on $59 a year cloud subscription,in fact I went ahead an purchased another for the rear of my house. It provides so many options ,that setting to exactly what you need covered is no problem, my red setter pup had to have his picture included
We bought this as a replacement for an old cheap cctv dome camera. Initially for the front of the house but after seeing how good it was, we immediately ordered a second one the same day.
The simplest of setups we have ever done for security cameras. The camera on the rear of the house was dropping out at 1st but after a re-start and communication with the Charlene of customer service, it settled down.
The front camera problem we had was to do with the SD card not recording after midnight. Turns out, after using 2 unbranded cards, it was obvious what the problem was. Bought a SanDisk 128gb SD and the problem solved.
The communication with Charlene throughout the teething problems, must go down as EXCELLENT. It is rare to get emails back so quickly to a problem. However, not with ieGeek customer service.
Overall, I would rate the cameras, company and customer service as ideal for technophobes or new comers to security cameras.
Really quite happy with this camera. I uses it for hedgehog footage. So far so good – my 4 stars are because the wifi signal is very poor – bought an extender but still weak. The sd card is very fiddly and the battery doesn’t last as long as I would like – have to recharge every other day – but this is because there is a lot of alarms. The capture is slow so I miss the entrance of the doggies by about 5 seconds or so. Also, it is larger than I would have wished for – but hey – overall pretty good.

Fab camera
What a great camera and easy to use, good price too for the quality of it!
I wanted an outdoor camera to cover the rear of my property and I wanted a camera that I could access remotely for when I am on holiday. I also wanted to avoid battery powered so I can fix and forget.
This camera gives WIFI access is wired with a 12 volt adapted supply and is pannable remotely.
The instructions say you need an 80% WIFI signal at the camera. (Camera eqipped with twin antennas)
My camera is around 10 meters from the router and an external wall in between – I still have an 82% signal at the camera and it never drops out or looses access.
I couldnt initially work out how to switch on “intelligent tracking” (the camera is capable of locking onto a movement and panning automaticilly to follow it).
The iegeek customer service responded quickly and sent instructions (and a video!) to show how to switch on – now activated – although at the time of writing I have not yet viewed a recording of a tracked target.
The camera records to an SD card allowing triggered alarms or normal footage to be reviewed without the cost of cloud storage.
Only cons I can mention are:-
-There are 3 wire tails on the camera – ( a reset button, ethernet socket and the 12v power socket)
I didnt want these dangling in the wind so bought a waterproof junction box (75mm x 75mmx50mm was sufficient) installed it alongside the camera, took the power supply out the rear and through the wall, and tucked all the tails neatly inside.
Like some products the installation manual could be clearer but with my experience with the igeek customer service – help is readilly available
I would definately recommend this as good value for money and very functional, and DIY installation capable.
Simple setup with fantastic features and crisp video
I have fitted over 12 of these cameras for family and friends now as they are so simple to use. As long as you can get wired internet or WiFi and have a socket nearby ( you can purchase a separate extension power lead if the one one the camera isn’t long enough to reach to a socket.) I would recommend purchasing a good quality high read write memory card as well as cheap cards are more prone to failure. The night vision and the option of colour night vision using the illuminating LEDs on the camera is brilliant. You can pan tilt and zoom these cameras from anywhere in the world using the mobile app. You can also watch back the footage which is saved on the memory card in ten minute blocks using the app. You can download the footage and save it to your phone in seconds. You can set-up alarms to be sent to your mobile if movement is picked up on the camera and you can select a specific area of the screen for the alarm to monitor. Until you use one you don’t realise how much you get for your money with these cameras!
eally superb
This camera performs far better than I expected. The night vision is excellent and even on dull days the solar panel produces enough power to keep the system up and running. Bought it for the front of the house now thinking of buying another to cover the rear of the property. All round totally excellent and it keeps the wife happy as she can now see the whole street.

The seller contacted me to help me with my issue. Definitely their customer service is amazing and the want their clients to be satisfied. They’ve have offered a replacement and few clues to make sure the camera will meet my expectations. I will test it further taking into consideration seller’s advice.
I’ve bought this camera with a huge dose of doubt. Battery powered camera with so many functions? It sounded impossible. I’ve tested this camera for almost a month and now can share my honest opinion.
Positives: definitely very good picture, clear night vision in infra red and colourful with built in LED spotlight. Really good resolution of recorded videos. Multiple settings and useful options. It really does provide 360 degrees of view. Battery is so efficient that after a month of constant monitoring and recording it still has over 50%. Very easy installation and set up.
Negatives: response time and connection strength. My 3 band mesh router is right behind the wall, where the camera is installed. Despite small distance, the camera shows 60% of WiFi signal. Being next to the camera I achieved around 300Mb/s download and over 30 upload. This shouldn’t cause any delays in camera response yet the movement and control of the camera is veeeerrrryyy lagging. I recorded video while using the camera so everyone can see how it works. Maybe my unit is faulty but this makes it useless for me. I need it to move quickly and efficiently without delays because this spoils the whole idea of wireless outdoor camera.
Easy set up and quality produc
Bought this camera with the solar panel to cover my garage and front door, very easy to set up, the instructions are straight forward and I had it up and running in less than an hour. Although the instructions state the maximum micro sd card you can use is 128gb, I didn’t realise that when I bought a 512gb one, but it works fine.

I purchased this lovely camera a month ago and installed it indoors.
It’s very easy to install, set up, connect to WiFi, and easy to move up and down and left to right with your phone. CloudEdge App is also very easy to use, giving you a nice option like turning on or off about if there is any motion, human detection day and night, full color night vision or black and white night vision alongside a clear picture. What I really liked is the alert zone (Alarm Area) which gives you an option to select the motion detection zone.
