Product arrived well packaged and was so simple to set up, images are clear and the products received are of very good quality. I will buy more once I have replaced my garage with a new unit as I want security externally and internally.
Bought this camera more to observe what wildlife was coming to our garden rather than a security camera. Early days but my views so far:
I was a little daunted by the setup process but as it turned out I needn’t have been. I followed the limited printed instructions and downloaded the cloudedge app. It then took me through step by step and in no time I had a picture. Considering the light level I was suprised at the quality. I was hoping for a bit more resolution when I zoomed in but it might be better in full daylight. It is very easy to operate from my tablet and have also connected it to my wife’s phone as well. assuming all continues to be OK I will purchase another as a security camera for the rest of the house.
Does everything that I wanted it to do and a bit more.
I have no complaints regarding this product. Easy to install and set up. Picture clarity is brilliant (night and day). Robust and easy on the eye when fitted in place. Once you have the hang of all the controls then it is easy to handle. This product has surpassed my expectations and would recommend it to anyone. Very happy with my purchase.

This is the best battery security camera available at the right price. The camera is easy to setup and has multiple options available. You can select quality of video, set up siren/sound alarm, set detection zones and talk to a person on door.

East set up, no wires picture quality excellent as is night vision. Able to speak through camera if people approach door, floodlight and sure.

I found the yellow drawing area useful for setting the trigger area for the alarm identify exactly where you want the trigger area.

The battery appears to drop a 2-3 percent power per day so battery life so I would estimate would be 2 to three months depending on triggering of sensor and how long you set the recording for.

I like this cam. It’s VERY easy to install. I had one or two issues with connection hear and there but so far I’d say it connects 99% of the time when I open the app.
I like the user interface on the app and I have also tried a few other cams where the “alarm area” doesn’t always work.
With this cam’s software, you simply highlight specific areas of the image you wish to have triggered by motion sensor. This works well if you have an area within your cams frame that you do/don’t want to be monitored. For example, if you live by a road, the passing cars will trigger the alarm constantly, but if you select a certain area only, you won’t get constant notifications.
Also, a little tip: when in live view you can pan/tilt by simply swiping left/right/up/down. Which I think is handy.
I only wish it had a sort of “park mode” where if you pan around, you can simply tap “Park” and it goes back to default instead of having to move back manually.

I brought this item on 9/11/22, and for and external ip camera I was highly impressed with all the features on offer. The picture clarity on the phone is perfect! The set up is really easy . Night vision , motion sensor , you can talk through your mobile and it comes out on the camera microphone . Outstanding product and an outstanding price. Would thoroughly recommend this product .

Great wireless security camera
I had purchased 3 different wireless cameras before and sent them back due to not being able to set them up, then as a last try I bought the ieGeek 2K 360 Wireless Security Camera. I charged it fully on arrival and then it connected straight away to my iPhone. Battery has lasted three months and the charge indicator on the phone app still shows little below half. I can pan and tilt the camera remotely via the app and talk to near the camera location. I t also has a siren the can be set on the app.

I’ve used this company many times and am always really happy with the cameras. Great app and excellent battery life – even with solar panel in the winter it stays charged. This camera is their most sturdy one yet. I’ve found them so reliable and the customer service is really the best I’ve had from a company. I set mine so that it can pick up my cat so i know when he’s out and about but you can also set it to only pick up humans.
A big saving
I was quoted 700 to 900 by a security/alarm company to install cameras around my property. I bought one of these cameras on Amazon and installed it in the porch. It was easy to install and works really well. The battery is one month in and hasn’t needed a re charge yet. I bought a second for outside the back french windows. It works just as well so I’m
going to buy a third. I’d recommend these. We are away a lot and it definitely gives you a feeling of security being able to check out your home whilst you’re away.

I recently bought the blink camera and was not impressed . So I was looking for a alternative. I came across ie geek . And decided to go for a security camera . The camera arrived it was very well made taking it out the box . So I got it installed and was amazed with the quality of the 2k vision . Has everything you need for a security camera . CCTV Camrea
Over the past few years i have bought four IEGeek CCTV camreas they do what it says on the box they are easy to set up and work fine in both my back garden and at the front door. The quality of the picture of the 2k version is great and i am surprised how much wildlife i catch on camrea.
Battery powered security camera
Really happy with my purchase of these battery powered security cameras, i purchased one first to try it out and once i was happy i purchased another three to cover the whole house. They are easy to link up to your mobile and due to not requiring any wiring can be mounted any where you like on your house. The clarity of the pictures is very good in both day light and at night and the night lights work well to light up the garden. The cameras are easy to mount but you need to think about this when you position them as you will need to take them down for charging.

Bought this after an attempted break in while we were asleep &for the money it’s great!
Good points -cheap, easy to set up, excellent night vision, siren/barking dog alarm when triggered, mobile phone app to access both live feed & recorded playback.
Bad points- even turning down the sensitivity the alarm is easily triggered! Short power wire which restricts placement. Even setting the system time several times its usually hours out when checking the recordings.
For the price its a cracking piece of equipment.
so i purchased at least 4 different types of cameras and had to return them all as they werent quite cutting it or what i wanted. This is by far the best camera i bought but before you get it you should know the following
1) It works just as good as the blink camera which is much cheaper and works just as well if not better
2) its not a 360 camera but it is close. it goes up, and side to side but it doesnt go downward which is really strange
3) it picks up sound really well but if your too close to the camera with your phone the static is unbearable so remember if you mute it to turn it back on
4) the battery life lasts around 3 months and i check mine multiple times daily

I would highly recommend buying this product. I did have a problem with my first camera and the seller was fantastic they replaced without any problems. And sent a new one straight out. The customer service is second to none. The app is easy too use also and the set up is straight forward.
This is the best camera I’ve purchased I’ve had others and the day and night is quality is so clear. In colour or black n white.

Easy to set up, good Wi Fi through several walls, several weeks of good battery, but now I’m going to use a solar panel,
so I don’t need to take it off, to charge it. USB charging takes several hours from about 30%, but the manual recommends that you don’t fully charge it, thus giving a longer battery life. Record times can be adjusted from the default, as can motion sensitivity. Picture quality is great. Because it needs no external power supply, it’s easy to mount wherever you need it, if it’s in Wi Fi range. Good stuff.
My only wish is that it had an optical zoom, thus the 4 stars, but otherwise it’s a recommend.
Great camera when figured out.
We installed two cameras, one on the driveway and the other by the front door. Once set up with the WiFi, it’s ready to resite for wireless use in its intended place.
The phone interface is great, the memory card is essential to play back video and view photo stills taken.
Sends push alarm messages to your phone and has intelligent tracking, which puts your neighbour on alert!!
Voice communication is good also.

I bought this for the rear of our house for piece of mind. Was in my basket and then got a flash deal on top of an already reduced price. Got it for an absolute steal at 85.
The picture quality is good both day and night, battery seems to last forever (30% used in 2 months), motion detector is good and can be varied to suit surroundings, new software update now includes a alarm siren to warn off intruders/trespassers, very good 2 way comma feature to enable you to tell an intruder to “do one”, good range for internet connection (mine is 15 metres away and doesn’t drop out at all), excellent scanning and zoom, lots of features.
The camera itself looks quite impressive on the wall outside and is definitely a visual deterrent.
Literally took me 30 minutes to install.

The camera is very easy to set up with clear instructions and an easy to understand app.
I purchased the camera after reading the positive reviews and I am really pleased I did.
Firstly the build quality exceeded my expectations and the setting up process was straightforward.
I can now monitor the outside of the property especially after having the catalytic converter stolen from my driveway, check deliveries, and keep an eye on the house when away from it. I have used a 128gb card in the camera and have even fitted the same model for two of my neighbours.
The option to pan with the camera is great and it gives a good field of view and a quality image.
I will be buying again for a family member who is also impressed by the camera.

Instructions are written in English but it’s a bit Chinese English
Wifi connection is only ever going to be as good as your system, I found it worked fine for weeks then struggling to connect, then okay again.
I ended up hard wiring a 10 meter patching cat 5 cable to it because Sod’s law says it will always make it fail when your away.
On the up side the camera will keep recording even if you can’t access the video, so you can review it when you get back on line.
A 128gb card record’s around 3 weeks of video.
Also you have to go through the options over and over again until you find out all quirks.
Easy to review alarm and other recordings.
Easy to set alarm area, by reducing the activity area. Also the sensitivity is set at 4 out of 100! So it’s super sensitive and needs careful setting or it will be sending continuous alarms.
App works fine, use the CamHipro. When using the app, you will need to refresh it by touching the video showing, or touch in the blank area and pull down. Yes it sounds weird but if you don’t it’s frozen from the last time you looked at it. Check the time in the top right corner to see if it’s refreshed.
Update 18th may 2022
After installation of hard wired Ethernet cable, no issues with disconnecting, also play back and live stream is quicker and smoother.
So although it’s sold as wireless (WiFi) (wireless does not mean no power supply), if you can hard wire to your router it will be much quicker and more stable.
Also with the sensitivity of the alarm trigger, you probably need to reduce the setting to about 4 (out of 1-100) and also reduce the area of detection to just where you want, it works well.

Security and peace of mind
This is a nice bit of kit. It sets up easily (just RYFM and follow the instructions slowly and carefully). Got this mounted on a corner bracket and it can “see” round both sides of the house as it’s range of travel is almost (but not quite) 360 degrees.
It won’t track about by itself but at this price I’d be amazed if it did. Pop in a 128gb mini SD card, site the solar panel in the sunniest spot, screw to the backplate and good to go.
When set up you can get live feed, you can pan and tilt the camera although the mic is a bit noisy. Mostly though you will set it to the area where you want best coverage. The PIR will send a notification to you if something triggers it along with a snapshot of the cause. You can take control thereafter.
Night vision is quite good, had a test walking around and the resolution is adequate for the job.
For my needs it’s perfect, can’t comment on how it’ll weather a UK winter but for now – good stuff iGeek.

First time I’ve purchased a CCTV camera.
I wanted wireless and solar powered to save having to drill holes etc.
I’m overall very happy with this camera.
The video quality is good and the detection is very sensitive and doesn’t miss anything.
The WiFi signal is strong even though its on the back wall and our WiFi router at the front of the house.
Even overcast days the solar panel keeps the battery fully charged.
The software can be a bit slow sometimes but generally works OK.
The speaker is also a good volume if you want to communicate through the camera.
So far I’m very happy with my
purchase and considering purchasing another for the front of my property.
It would have been nice to have colour night vision but not essential.

Worked for 4 months
Sorry, it worked for 4 months then we had an internet issue which was sorted in a few hours.
Had to bring the camera in to reconnect. We got it working again so we have put it back up. The camera is very good , great video quality, battery last for 2 or 3 months. I would buy one again.
Very Pleased With This Camera.
I have left the review of this camera for four weeks since installation to have a better perspective of its overall performance.
Installation of the CloudEdge app on my android phone was simple to set the device up.
I did initially charge the camera for 15 hours before doing any of the set up features..
The camera is for our back garden area so does not have much motion sensor activations during the day as only my wife and I live here. I did like that you can set various time recording settings so as not to overly deplete the battery whilst you are at home which we are most of the day.
I tend to set ours to record from 4pm to 8am although if we are out for the day or away on holiday you can set it to record any motion capture all day for security.
The picture quality in my opinion is excellent both day and night (very clear). We have the camera set at approx. 7 feet high on the outside corner wall and it covers the whole garden and PTZ feature makes fine adjustments simple.
It is now four weeks in and with approx. 10 motion captures per day the camera is still showing at 84% left which is excellent.
Our garden in south facing and receives sun most of the day so I may consider purchasing the I geek solar panel to keep the camera charged up, but it is certainly not depleting its charge very fast at present.
I am now considering purchasing another one for the side driveway of our house and would personally recommend this camera..

Overall, the camera itself performs okay but ………..
It took an age to set up and get connected, not helped by the inadequate and confusing instructions. Why do manufacturers get their manuals written by people who know how the product works. Much better to get a novice to write them so a novice can use them! The PC software is next to useless, basically allows you to view but no PTZ control as far as I can find. The motion detection is way too sensitive, constantly triggering on rain drops and even worse with IR mode at night. Insects and even reflection from the IR lights cause triggering with the sensitivity set low. I had to stop getting notifications to my mobile because it would be going all day and night. The detection area has very limited scope, essentially left screen, right screen or whole screen. There is no facility for setting smaller individual areas.
The connection ‘tails’ are way too short and bulky. If you need to pass then through a wall then you had better have thin walls and prepare for a large hole. The mounting screws with mine were far too short, barely long enough to get through the mounting with no length left to screw into the wall plugs. I had to dash out and purchase longer screws.

Like the design of this model and quiet operation. Was simple to set up and connect the separate solar panel charger. Wifi connectivity is a bit hit & miss, and sound quality through the speakers is very tinny. Good system for the price.

The set up was relatively easy, using the broadband router. The camera itself is great, good motion detection and picture quality. It needs to be plugged into a power supply so we had a friend drill into the garage and fit a new plug socket for us. Day 1 we were so happy, the app worked fantastically. Day 2 not so good, a constant issue with connection. I’m purchase a WiFi booster to see of the issue is the camera proximity to the hub, rather than a poor app. So for now a poor rating. I’ll update my review, if its an issue our end. Day 3, since connecting to a wifi extender everything seems fantastic. I have updated the review as promised. We have no issues connecting with this device remotely either, so I’d suggest the other reviews with connection issues is due to the proximity of the reuter to the camera. You can purchase a wifi extender on amazon for 30. Not far off 5*. I’d just say the lack of forewarning about wifi reach and the need to have the camera plugged in and the work required to faciltate that let it down so slightly.

Very impressed
This has impressed us and is doing a great job. Everything comes to our phones in a timely way and it keeps us very well informed.
I put a lot of research into this purchase. After a couple of days I chose this camera. It is so simple to setup and to link to our 2 mobile phones. After the setup I left it to charge overnight. Initially I have put it in my front garden to try and see the animal activities during the night but intend to move it to to my back yard which is the main access to my house.
I have put it in HD mode and it is a great picture. The camera moves well but has a very small lag but that is not a problem. I haven’t had time to see how long the battery lasts but if there is an issue I will update this.
So far I can only speak highly of this product.
This cam was a replacement for another iegeek cam I had in the same spot which was a 3 years old static model..
The picture is naturally better with this model since it has moved on with the technology but I was surprised that the signal kept dropping out considering it has two antennas as opposed to the single antenna on the unit it was replacing which never had signal issues.
On contacting iegeek with my woes they replied that due to the increased bandwidth required for the resolution the cam needed a strong WiFi signal and to try a booster. Thankfully I had a redundant Netgear booster knocking about and plugged this in close to the wall the cam was mounted on. This seemed to cure the problem.
The second issue I found is that on testing the tracking capabilities, the cam only tracks with a panning motion (left/right) and does not employ its tilting motion (up/down). This I think let’s down the tracking claims as for instance if you had this cam mounted high on the rear wall of the house and someone walks across the garden it will pan across to track them. But if they then walk towards the house (towards the bottom edge of the field of view) the cam will not tilt down to follow them even when you can manually do this with the screen controls. So an intruder could basically walk to your back door and the cam won’t follow.
I assumed tracking used both axis so I’m a bit disappointed with this to be honest.
Where I have mine mounted its not such an issue but I can see it would be a problem in lots of circumstances.

Great camera !!
I was advised to get some sort of security camera by a local policeman due to some naughty behaviour being carried out in the close proximity of my property. He explained you can get one for about 20 on Amazon. So I decided to have a look and I found this little gem. I shall explain the process on receiving it.
The set up couldn’t be be easier, I downloaded the app first, it’s a step by step procedure once you turn on the camera. I didn’t even had to ask my 16 year old “techno” son. So feeling confident in my newly found expertise I had a look through the settings. It’s all well laid out which makes it easy to get around. Still no help from my son !
Getting it into position was easy. Once you’ve decided on a place for it to go you fix the back plate bracket to the wall drilling four holes to fix it , place camera on bracket, job done. All in probably 20 minutes max to set it all up from initial turn on to fixing it onto bracket.
One thing I will say is you do need to play around with the sensitivity to get it right. I wanted mine to just do my front garden, but it was picking people up on the pavement beyond the garden. I have got it about right now.
Picture quality is amazing in normal and night vision, properly good !
The intercom feature is brilliant for scaring the mother in law when she comes round.

I bought two cameras and one failed after a short time, but was quickly replaced and all is working well. The after sales service was excellent. Good cameras, easy to install. would buy again.

These camaras are spot on good quality excellent nightvision more than the stated 20m, I can see around 40m with mine. Take a bit of time to get the sencestivaty right but we’ll worth the money I’ve ordered another, so 3 cameras protecting my property now.

Router/extender performance
Overall pretty good….but router distance critical to performance. We live in a semi with router in upstairs bedroom & recently purchased extender placed in hall to aid signal to camera on wall outside porch.
Product suggests 80 % signal …can’t achieve more than 40+ ….32 or so at worst.
Still operates but with drop outs occasionally. Product itself good.

Excellent in 3 weeks the charge holds no WiFi loss, gone through a major storm
I can find no dislikes and bought for general observations of the home approach.
Only problem is detection at setting 10 does not catch all.
So Far So Good
The camera is OK, however there are some features that it’s missing which cause it to be not as could as it could be, for instance: 1) PTZ can only be tuned in quite big angle increments, so I am unable to fine tune the viewport to what I need, so I either have to orient it towards a busy street or angle it the other way and lose a lot of detail from the area that I’m trying to set the camera in. 2) It would be nice if it was possible to create a grid on the PTZ viewport to set active and inactive areas in which the motion detector should either trigger or not, as per the grid setup. 3) This one feels like a straight-up bug but, for me, recording just at night doesn’t work, and instead I have to create an alarm schedule. I expected that as soon as it detects night it would start being alarmed and then stop when it detects light, but the camera doesn’t quite work that way.

Battery life lasts months great pictures quality than most don’t look at any others ie geek is awesome
Not bad for the price
Brought this as a replacement after our previous one packed in.
This one is much better than that, obviously having the benefit of a few more years development helps.
I saved a bit of time fixing it to the side of the garage as there was already a hole from the previous. So yes you will more than likely need to do some drilling to fit it. Not overly difficult to mount overall.
Firstly, if you use a sd card (128gb max) format it first then fit into camera. Download the required app, turn the camera on and it’s fairly easy to initially set up.
The camera rotates pretty quickly using the app.
Picture quality is reasonable for the price. Night vision again, is ok pretty good up to 20ft I’d say. You can have 3 night settings I prefer ordinary so the lights don’t show on the camera.
Motion detection hmmm I have found it overly sensitive despite having it set to 1 and shrinking the detection box. Even at 1 rain seems to set it off. So be prepared for lots of notifications.
You can set preset positions for the camera. If you decide to have motion tracking it should return to a preset after it has moved. I’ve played around with this, felt it worked ok but have left that setting off. Some people have complained that it doesn’t always go back to the preset position.
In the app find Sd card plan recoding select the enable recording then go to advanced settings, click quick editing select all the days and them empty day. If you don’t it will literally record all day long. I just wanted motion warnings to be recorded. The Sd card will fill up then start overwriting itself.
I also have it on my windows pc before I realised there was actually a proper app to use I used a program called Blue stacks an android emulator. The correct one to use is called HiP2P and is simple to set up.
Overall pretty happy with the camera especially taking in the price it’s a cheap alternative for a bit of peace of mind. Would certainly recommend it.

Cannot connect to encrypted channel
Can anyone help please, I cannot connect to the encrypted channel on the cloudedge app, I have an iPhone 12 and have the required 2.4ghz Wi-Fi, I get notifications but the channel to watch videos will not load. There is a 64g sd card in the camera.

Easy Install and Setup
Eventually got round to setting up the Wi-Fi connection and installing the camera in my selected location, surprised how easy it was, all in probably didn’t take more than half an hour, quality and functions are very good, so far all positive with no issues.

Simplicity itself and very effective
This camera was so simple to set up, so simple to use via the app and produces great quality video and pictures.
Hasn’t even needed to be recharged yet, which has been an unexpected bonus.
Feature-rich, well-built camera
You can’t find another camera with these features at this price point – human detection to avoid false alerts from cats, solar charging via included solar panel, huge battery, PTZ.
Build quality is great too, feels like a very expensive camera.
Attaching to the wall was very easy due to the fact that you first attach a metal plate to the wall, and only then attach the camera to the metal plate. This is easier than other cameras which get attached directly to the wall.
I have been using it for a few days so far and no issues, works great.
The feature I miss the most is activity zones. But at this price point very few cameras have it anyway.
Edit: Battery life turned out to be not so great, so it’s important that you place your solar panel in the sun.
Great camera
What’s not to like. Incredibly long battery life, really good clear picture quality, great night vision, good motion detection with small lag. We were quoted nearly 3,000 for a system and opted to buy two of these for nearly the same features.

This is my second iGeek camera, and I have found myself astounded that this one is even better than the first one I bought! The picture quality is absolutely excellent in both daylight and at night. Installation was really easy too, everything needed comes inside the neatly packaged box. Instructions are precise and clear. The camera itself is a decent weight, gives the impression of a really well made bit of kit. Very easy to add onto the Cloud Edge app I already had installed for use with my original iGeek camera. Overall, I would highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for a self charging solution to home or business CCTV. I cannot stress to you enough just how easy it was to get everything up and running! I am a very pleased customer indeed.

Camera is well made, very sturdy.
Camera needs to be fully charged before you install it, I left mine on charge for about 8 hrs.
Installation and set up took me about 5 minutes.
Picture and sound quality is crystal clear.
Camera app is easy to set up and use. In the app you can tweak your settings to suit how your camera is set for your use.
Because of glare from street lights at night I turned off the night vision, picture is still clear and I can see anyone coming on to my property.
Personally I feel that the cost of this camera is well worth the money along with the fact that set up is easy and with the app no matter where I am I can see if anyone approaches my property whilst I’m out.
