My grandson wanted these for his 4th birthday. It's nice to have toys that engage the imagination and get the kids away from "screen time"..It's amazing how many things my grandson has already created using this kit.

Bought this for our 3 year old and the whole house has a blast with it. The tiles are great quality and the magnets hold well. We purchased the metropolis set and are already shopping for others. The various shapes and sizes are fun and we build something new each time we sit down.

We've started buying these sets for our grandkids' birthdays, and at ages 5-9, they really love building with them. Now the basic sets are getting combined and it's nice to see the kids cooperating.

Magna- Tiles , durable , sturdy , and hours of fun . These magna-tiles were a hit for my grandsons 5th birthday .

We tried buying off-brand, cheaper versions of magnetic tiles and those ones fall apart. These are worth the money. They feel superior and are much, much sturdier. My kids got a small set of Magna Tiles three years ago that they still play with and all of those are intact. This set adds so many pieces to their collection and they are thrilled to be able to make larger structures. The cost is high (for us) but it’s already proven to be worth it as the kids have played with these for an hour + per day since they’ve gotten them.
we have purchased other tile sets and I will never go away from Magna Tiles again. They are the best for the price. Others fall apart but Magna tiles stand up to my grandchildren and they have had hours of fun with them.
These are the best option out there full stop. The price point hurts. Watch for great sales. They are worth it. I personally feel like 2 sets is the ideal number for my kiddos. Gah that’s bananas expensive though. Watch for sales and ask family to chip in for a group Christmas gift. These are an excellent open play toy for kiddos of all ages.
I love watching my grandkids create with these tiles! The youngest of them creates flat designs on the table and the older ones are building 3D skyscrapers and vehicles. None of them want to recreate the figures shown on the directions and that’s just the way I like to see them play! Interesting to watch them puzzles out the ways magnetic connect and, of course, this retired teacher throws in vocabulary like “poles” and “attract” just to increase the learning! I would have liked more pieces that allow movement—wheels, gears, etc. And I’m curious about whether this set will work with similar sets from other manufacturers to allow for creation of even greater masterpieces.

These are awesome. Fun for grown-ups too!
These are so very fun. We all love playing with them so much, that I ordered another set within a week because we were constantly finding we wanted just a few more triangles for some grand thing we were building. My daughter plays with them every day. My husband and I love building things with her. We’ve built towers, houses, cars, busses, boats, even small hand puppets.
They are always out on our living room floor and I’ve been impressed that none of them are cracked or damaged at all. They are constantly being built into large towers and then knocked to the ground (hard floor). They get stepped on all the time. The surfaces do start to look a little scratchy/cloudy, but structurally they are very sound.
If they were slightly cheaper we would probably own all the sets by now.

My son has had the 100 peice basic shape set since he was 2. He didn't really start loving them until recently. He's almost 4 now. We needed more pieces because you quickly learn that you need a lot of tiles to have fun with these. 100 sounds like a lot but it doesn't go far once you start building. He's loving the spinner, doors, windows and cars. The unique pieces make this toy even more fun. I just wish they would sell sets of just squares too, because even with 200 of these tiles, we still find ourselves wishing for more small squares while building.

Great building toy
You can build pretty big structures with it and they look great with all those shinny colours. The only downside is that the start getting a lot of scratches with the use.

Great Addition to Prior Sets
My 4YO, like every other kid, loves these.
They’re pricey but I got it using an Amazon Gift Card (received for donating blood – donate if you can!) and didn’t mind as I know they are quality.
A few fun additions such as windows and stairs.

Our two year old plays with these ALL day! He is obsessed and would choose these over all of his other toys day after day. We love the endless play opportunities this toy provides.

If you shake them you won’t hear any shuffle sounds of magnets but with this newer version of magnatile you can hear them and material feel cheap for somereason. Also magnets are not as strong as original ones but serves its purpose. My son likes playing with them and can get pretty creative. Overall good purchase but not 100% happy with the quality.

The megna tiles weren’t broken but the plastic packaging was shattered. When we opened it tiny sharp plastic pieces went everywhere.
