Really imaginative for our grandsons. So many different combinations of tiles. Amazing what the kids will come up with. Pricey but worth it.

The megna tiles weren’t broken but the plastic packaging was shattered. When we opened it tiny sharp plastic pieces went everywhere.

This is our second set and my kids love them. However, I agree with the magnetic strength comments from other buyers.

My granddaughter enjoys playing with the smallest we had gotten her and she received a different type of magnetic building set which seemed to work with the Magna Tiles. My daughter-in-law only wanted Magna Tiles (even though she saw the other ones DO work with them) so I spent the $ to purchase these. I can’t say these are any better made than other competing brands but I’ve not purchased other ones so I can’t compare. Magna Tiles look nice BUT are VERY expensive!

My daughter said her research found this to be the best brand of tiles. She asked family members to get them for her 3 year old son’s Christmas this year. I chose this set. He loves to build – can’t wait to see him play with these!

So very many tiles! Great variety of shapes and sizes There are so many options there has been no fighting over pieces with three kids! Miracle? A different manner of packaging would have made this beyond perfect. It is not going to hold up.

My 4 and 5 1/2 yo boys love this. We had two other sets from the same brand. They learned to build 3D shapes, buildings, and now vehicles. Their 3 yo cousin loves playing with the sets too. We got a good price – waited for the price to drop – when other stores locally ran out.

Great way to build and learn for the kids. The opportunities are nearly endless for what they can build. They are surprisingly durable for how much they flex. They are expensive for what they are, but if you have the money it’s well worth it.

My kids love this set! Comes with lots of classic magnatile pieces as well as a nice amount of special additions such as stairs, vehicle base, windows, etc. Also, has some different colors than the original pack so adds interest when adding as a set.

I’m not sure if its just me but the quality seems to be less than our original set. Nevertheless we are super happy with these.

I have given magna tiles to my 8 year old grandson for three years straight. Both for Christmas and his birthday. He keeps building and rebuilding. Magna tiles are great for the creative mind and finger dexterity. He’s always wanting different shapes, so I keep my eye out for sets with shapes he doesn’t have. He uses his matchbox cars and small people that I have purchased with the magna tiles. When tall creations fall over, they don’t break or crack.
    You can’t go wrong.

Magnatiles really are worth the greater amount of money in comparison to the cheaper knockoff brands. We found that out the hard way last Christmas, when we had to exchange a large set of cheaper ones that immediately felt apart for a smaller set of well-made Magnatiles. This Christmas, we got this set to add on to what we had. My kids are really impressed with the unique pieces this set includes, such as windows, a door, two wheeled platforms, an arch, and a spinning piece. And, I’m impressed that they are sturdy, durable, and inspire my kids’ creativity.

The kids and even adults love creating with these magnet tiles. The kids get to use their imagination and learn some engineering skills. I just wish the tiles had a little bit stronger magnets. Makes them safe for little toddlers since they can’t pinch their fingers hard though.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am a parent who doesn’t think engaging kids with mobile app (even those innocently looking educational app) are the way to go. Spending hours on the screen provides convenience (to the parents like us), but it brings disruptive behavior like screaming and yelling when you politely try to take it away. (Even the usual countdown timer or reasoning based explanation doesn’t work)

Hence, I decided to buy several toys to keep my hyperactive toddler entertained. The usual contenders are dinosaurs, trucks, robots, and puzzles to keep him engaged at home and on the go. However, even the best toys in each category (after trying to figure out the fake and real reviews and counter check with numerous sources), failed to keep him entertained after a few weeks. They usually end up in the “toy graveyard” after that.

I decided to embark on Mission “Impossible” to find the best toy that provides intellectual and other benefits (the usual motor skills and etc) that can constantly engage his insatiable curiosity. The closest contenders are Jumbo sized jigsaw puzzles. But once he figures how to piece it together, it becomes another casualty in the “toy graveyard”.

After clicking on “related searches” in Amazon for like umpteen times, I finally found this treasure buried in the seas of toy listings. It is like a magnet version of LEGO that allows you to build almost anything that your mind can imagine. AND THAT IS THE BEAUTY OF THIS TOY.

You see, kid get bored when they see and play with the SAME TOY again and again. (I mean, can you imagine doing the same repetitive work in your job?) This TOY allows you to build a church, a skyscraper, a house, a school, and anything your mind put to it.

Every day, he manages to find something new to build with his existing fleet of tiles. Yes, this set of tiles is not cheap compared to other toys in the same department. But the saving you could accumulate over time with this set of tiles OVERWEIGH the cost of buying boring toys to constantly keep your child entertained.

Of cause, it is not something that replaces your role of parenting and you still have to be there to play the tiles with him. Besides tiles, reading books with your kids is highly recommended too. But when it comes to toys, this set of colorful tiles beat everyone down with its well crafted magnetic tiles.

I have a concern with the magnets before purchase cause kids tend to drop and throw anything around them like a raging bull. But apparently, the magnets still hold up and sticks after countless attempts of drops and hits.

In conclusion, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A UNICORN FOR YOUR KID, THIS IS THE UNICORN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. Get it!

Schools were closed so I bit the bullet and bought this expensive set to keep my 4.5 year old occupied. It’s been almost a month and he’s played with them every single day, all day. Well made and such a good tool to teach him abt physics and geometry. Parents have contacted me asking where I got them. Best toy we’ve bought.

Docking off a star only because one of the pieces arrived a little dented. Not enough to affect its performance, just not perfect.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersWe bought this set to add on to the original Magna Tiles we bought and this was perfect. While the kids enjoy the original Magna Tiles, they can get bored of them after a while. This set helped to energize their excitement to play with them again and build even more creative things. Great buy, as the knock off brands aren’t as sturdy. While these are expensive, they are sturdy and go through all the tossing and smashing the kids will do.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersWe bought our first set of these in 2015, when our eldest was nearly 7. He’s now nearly 12, and we have a total of four kids and they all (ALL) still play with them regularly.

I bought this set to replenish what’s been lost over the years and because we have a toddler who will enjoy them. We are now back to daily play (and bickering over who gets which pieces LOL).

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersThis set has all the joy of the 100 piece set plus exciting new (to us, anyway) pieces like spinner, two cars, door, windows, and stairs. Magnatiles are one of my all time favorite toys for our kiddo who has been playing with them since he was 3 and now is almost 7. All family members young and old are able to play and build with them. We keep our set at grandparents home since they clean up and store so easily and bring them to our home for special days off school. This particular set (Metropolis) is definitely my go to now for big family gift.
