Excellent product and biodegradable refills
My husband panicked when his machine broke – enter Amazon prime and another one on its way the very next day but with the added frothing ability 🙂 Crisis averted! We haven’t yet tried the the frother but the coffee machine wins points in my book as both the full caff and decaff mini tubs are biodegradabel and can be put in the food caddy. Win for us and win for the environment.

Replacement for 6+years machine
This is a replacement for an earlier very similar model which I had used for over 6 years. Makes hot coffee, milk froths well and easy to use. Hope it lasts as long as my last one!

I had previously owned the Nespresso Lattisima and found the milk to be lukewarm. After sending it back twice to Nespresso with no joy, Amazon stepped in with a refund. I then purchased this machine and it’s a game changer. Lovely hot coffee, easy to use and clean. Wish I’d have got this one years ago. Highly recommend.

Loving this machine. Great quality & so easy to use. It comes with a sample pack which has been very useful to establish which coffee I like/don’t like. The milk froths really well & makes a fab cappuccino. Having purchased a few coffee machines in the past this is definitely my favourite!

Lives up to the hype
At this stage, I don’t dislike anything about this product. Bought to replace a 4 year old previous coffee machine. This is so much easier to use, nespresso coffee pods give unique flavours and tastes so each coffee is a new experience. Milk frother together makes it feel like coffee shop quality coffee each time

Lovely for short or milky drinks, go tassimo for long drinks.
I have this and a Tassimo. I have to say for longer drinks, the tassimo is loads better.
This machine however is great for espresso, latte, flat white etc.
Milk frother is amazing.
The coffee maker itself is great, simple to use and seems really well built. The instructions for the Aeroccino could do with being a bit clearer though, as despite reading through before use, I didn’t pick up on the fact that the spring should only be fitted to the whisk when making foam (at the lower ‘max’ fill level) and removed if you just want hot milk. This led to a liberal coating of warm milk froth over the kitchen worktop.
After realising my mistake, the instructions become clear, but a more obvious, unambiguous statement would probably save other users from kitchen carnage.
Best investment eve
It’s been about a week and this machine has proved solid. The frother base is attached to the coffee machine (you can’t have them separately, something you should know). I recommend trying Starbucks capsules with it, they are a great combination!
I wish there was a knob to control the quantity of the coffee since holding the buttons might eventually break them (I try to just program the volume, it is a feature, and don’t mess with it as much as possible).

Very good machine despite Amazon mistake
This was purchased as an open box item from warehouse deals at a reduced price.
The machine was in its original sealed bag and is brand new. It works very well and I am very happy with the purchase. The contents of the box from the description from warehouse deals was unfortunately inaccurate. There were 2 similar items to choose from. 1 listing was only the machine in box (this was the one I received) 1 listed complete contents but machine was scratched (this was the one I ordered). So I got the wrong one. Called and after 10 minutes trying to explain I gave up and decided it was fine…. so I missed out on the capsules and case but it seemed silly and wasteful to send it back

My first foray into Nespresso culture and I love it. Great method of speedy, quality coffee preparation. Makes a decent, if undersized, cup of hot coffee to get the day off on the right foot and spare poor mortals from my wrath!

What's not to like.
Easy to use, easy to clean and provides, depending on your taste a good cup of coffee. A suggestion would be to add a temperature gauge to ensure that the coffee meets the right level for each individual (regardless of what is recommended by Baristas/Experts)

Love my new Nespresso. Bought it to replace my previous top of the range model but there is no need to pay top dollar. The basic easy to use model creates the most fantastic tasting coffee.
Out of all the the different brands of coffee pods, Nespresso is the best for all the coffee connoisseurs.

Press a button and get a cup of coffee is pretty much what I wanted. Machine is small and easy to operate. Coffee depends on capsules, close to perfect morning coffee every time. Milk fraper is available too.
Overall a good machine
I love Nespresso. This was a replacement previous one leaked after seven years. Although the design is slightly slimmer, the mechanism for putting capsules in is less sturdy, but overall a good replacement.

We had another Nespresso, bought this, having seen this model in use. So far, with this model, the water comes to temperature much quicker and it gives a consistent cup of coffee. Also enjoying the frothing attachment, which is also easy to use and gives a consistent froth.

This model is really easy to use and is quite compact on the kitchen worktop. It delivers consistent coffee every time and heats up in just a few seconds.

Makes lovely coffee.
I have had many coffee machines in the past and this is one of the best. Nespresso capsules can be on the expensive side, but they do tase really nice. This machine works really well. Easy to use and takes seconds to clean. Very happy so far.

Does the job well enough, but feels flimsier than other Nespresso machines I’ve had in the past, and the capsule mechanism relies on a fair bit of force to operate.

New design with smaller footprint is not as good as the old larger model but everything else is perfect.
Good things: This Magimix branded machine is well made with a nice metal drip tray and quality feel. The same machine is available with a Krups logo. Both are actually made by a company called Frismag so get whichever brand you like the look of. It heats up quickly, albeit with some drips into the drip tray while doing so. Capsules drop in and then eject into a small waste bin. It makes decent smooth coffee – none of the bitter dishwater our previous machine made. The aeroccino frother works well – skimmed or full fat milk warms up and can be frothed to varying degrees. Add the little spring thing to the impellor and it makes amazing capuccino foam. Less good things: None of the nesspresso stuff seems to be very strong, even capsules rated at 10s and 12s. Goodness knows what the 3s and 4s are like. (We’ve tried some L’Or Ristretto compatibles which aren’t bad at all and only 25p each) The Lungo isn’t very long: Half a mug at best so you’ll need two capsules on a saturday morning. Drinks aren’t that hot – fine to drink immediately though. And finally the milk frother needs to be hand rinsed with detergent and wiped out after every use. Should you buy one? If you just want strong coffee then stick with an aeropress, cafetiere or whatever but if you fancy knocking up a surprisingly good flat white or espresso at home then why not. I’m a cheapskate so bought mine from Warehouse Deals as ‘Used Acceptable’. The box was original but badly opened and resealed, the 16 sample capsules were missing and there was condensation in the water tank but the machine was as-new.

It makes a good coffee, easy and quick, the milk frother does a good job too and easy to clean.
So far this machine has been great. We bought it to replace a more basic model that broke. This warms the water effectively, works better with compatible pods than the basic model. You can put almost any size cup under it without problem, even a medium size travel mug fits. Very pleased with the machine overall. We are now using it much more often as it’s so easy to use!

I had a tassimo prior to this and all I can say is the difference is night and day!
Espresso comes out perfect and the choice is amazing, the aerochino again is super easy, fast and makes a perfect coffee everytime. Cant recommend this enough.

This coffee machine not only looks good but makes great coffee too. It seems to be very well made, especially noticeable when I compare it with the dreadful Senseo machine that I had to send back as I don’t like coffee that tastes and smells of plastic! The water reservoir holds a decent amount of water, sufficient for quite a few lungo drinks or even more of the espresso type. It’s dead simple to use and heats up really fast. I only drink black coffee and it’s just the right temperature for me, but if you wanted to add milk, you would probably need to warm it before adding it to the coffee.

Delighted with this – looks good and makes great coffee quickly. The milk frother is fantastic. Only complaint is that occasionally a full pod is missed and drops into the collection tray, leaving you with a cup of hot water instead.

So far so good, I’ve used nespresso machines before but this is the easiest and most efficient. Seller great, fast delivery and item exactly as described at a good price, I’ve had no problems so far, the different height tray is handy, the program switches itself off so you don’t have to hang around to press stop, easy to top up if you prefer longer drink, milk frother effective and easy to use.. all good!
