Didn’t realise at the time, but this is identical to the one we have in our caravan, so no problems with the control’s, works very well and very pleased with the product.

I bought this for my son as a birthday present and he is very happy with.
The product is easy to use and clean and looks really good especially if you are hosting it in dark colored cabinet. The only drawback is the size. Its bit too small for large bowls and there are chances that things may spill out.
I like this design,especislly the mirrored door.But I was unlucky When I received it, the light inside was not working. Contact customer service, the customer service is very good, immediately arrange to send a new one. But even service is good still feel disspointed, this microwave oven is a bit heavy, I cleaned it thoroughly before using it, than I found out light is broken. I had to repack it and send it to the post office. It was really annoying.

I read the reviews about this being small, but saw the internal measurements and found it was bigger than my one I was replacing. However when it arrived, it was smaller, and the internal measurements are not as big as stated. I can however still fit a dinner plate in it with a plastic cover. I’ve had it around a month and It is easy to use and works perfectly. I would recommend it as long as you don’t have huge plates! Mine are just standard Ikea size!
I like easy to use. After all, it’s for food in a hurry, right? So it has the quick start with 30 sec increments that I like. It’s got presets which I never use but blissfully those are not clogging up the display. Simple red LEDs for timer, has good defrost settings that I use a lot. Never used the timer or weight presets, but love the look and style. Sleek black with black handle and only one chrome knob. Classy for a modern kitchen and understated. Very good value for money and way nicer than a cheapy. Plus, it’s a well known and established brand and has warranty. What’s not to love?!
I like the look of this Russell Hobbs microwave, it looks good in all black. I also like the fact that it’s so easy to use. For the cheap price that i paid, i reckon i’ve got a bargain, and i’m very pleased with it.
I was pretty concerned about buying this after reading the reviews. However I have had this for a couple of months now and have had no issue at all.
I have 4 completely different sets of plates and the only set that I can’t get in there are the oval ones, which I think would be hard to get in any microwave. With my largest round plate set I do have to tilt the plate ever so slightly, but not enough for anything to spill off it. My average size plates fit fine.
It’s not high enough to fit a standard size microwave rice packet, but I just put it in a bowl and microwave it for the same time, I haven’t found anything else that doesn’t fit yet.
No smoke, burning, or funny noises etc. Just a well working microwave.
Generally a good microwave, does the job, has multiple settings, has a clock if that’s your thing. My two main complaints – firstly, it doesn’t grip my kitchen surfaces enough, and slides around when I open the door! Secondly, I like to leave the door open after using it, so I can air it out (and prevent mould), but then the light stays on and seems like a waste of electric. (And if I turn off the plug to do this, it obviously resets the clock every time.) A minor gripe is that the turntable isn’t smooth, it sort of jerks when it turns, but it’s not a big deal.

It’s compact in design, the capacity inside is not massive, good enough to seat a standard plate size though, simple menu, the auto defrost works a charm – much better than my aging old microwave, easy to clean, decent price.

I loved the look and style of this microwave oven. However there are a few snags (for me) I chose the black finished machine and it looks stunning and is easy and slick to use. But what l hadn’t realise was that unless you place this microwave oven in exactly the right place in your kitchen you cannot see what is going on inside as the door and windows are black and reflective, this makes it work like a mirror. So be warned

Overall its a good microwave – however it was smaller than expected. My fault for not checking properly however in my view it i overpriced for the size.

I have had several microwaves as I use them for cooking all of the time, when I am not ‘steaming’ my vege. However, this is a good alternative too. Doesn’t create so much water, and then if you want to take your chunky vegetable matter and pop it into the fryer, this can make for a crispy solution, and doesn’t take so long to cook frying either. Just browns and hardens. But, I digress.
This machine I could start and use straight away. Didn’t have to master any book first, although it did come with one, and if there are any nitty-gritty details that one needs to read up on, there’s that. But, it is straight forward to use if you are from the old school of trial and error – not much error, and you don’t have the aforethought to check health and safety every five minutes before you blink. Just…do it.
Clean as a whistle inside, and not white, which I appreciate “oh, so much” as my last 5 microwaves – which lasted about 2 years each before going rusty around the edges and around the turnstile, therefore, giving them them the, ‘old heave ho.’ This one looks like it is a molten greyish/charcoal and would not ‘age’ in such a way like the others. A stronger/nicer finish. Fingers crossed. Just wipe down after every use and…OH…did I say how great it looks? A mirrored front on it. Really looks cool!

Bought this for our house kitchen, It does what it says on the tin, no fancy stuff. Just a standard microwave that has been reliable to me, writing this review a few months after purchasing. Happy with it, not sure how to clean it as instructions were not clear but apart from the price it’s a good basic microwave. Happy with it.

I still haven’t sorted out the defrost yet, but then neither have I read the instructions. It is very compact, holds a large dinner plate, so no extra space, but reheats very well.
Great size for the small space we have. Does everything our old larger machine could do.

It is the exact size as my old one that I was replacing, but, the inside is smaller! Not a massive problem as my plates just about fit.
It’s sleek looking, small, easy to clean and works very well. However, the dials can be a bit fiddly and if you don’t use the defrost function, you will find that you will be needing the manual close by!
This is a very stylish microwave and as we don’t use it much, it suits us perfectly as it looks great in the new kitchen. It’s not the best however so as long as you’re just wanting it for basic reheating etc you’re ok.
I bough this as a replacement for an old microwave that died. Easy to use without needing to look at the instruction book. Does exactly what you expect it to do. If I had one gripe it is the mirrored front door, it can be a swine to keep it smear free, not enough of a problem to mark it less than 5 star in all categories though.
Great microwave and bought to replace my old Grundig stainless steel one which is over 10 years old and lasted well but developed rust on the interior. This is a really nice looking microwave in shiny black with a mirrored door and is the same size, 20 litres as my previous one with pretty much the same controls. My only concern is if will keep its good looks based on much of it is plastic and not robust stainless steel and will update my review accordingly if this is not the case. Although i am currently very happy but i do wish that Russel Hobs wouldn’t blazen their name on the front as well as every other kitchen appliance and kitchen utensils they have their name behind and feel this should not be so much in your face and more obscured.

Good microwave. Nice and simple controls. I hate having to go through a menu just to blitz beans for 2 minutes. With this you just bang the go button and it starts, keep pressing to add more time at 30sec a press. Great.
One issue. It is a little on the small size inside. You just, and I mean just, get a normal dinner plate in there. So its passable and usable. But the larger bowl I occasionally use no longer fits which is a shame.

So far it’s great but very hard to clean spots have appeared on the mirrored door. Takes a lot of effort to remove and I’m not sure where they came from. It would have been 5 stars otherwise… difficulty in cleaning is just annoying.
A great microwave that is perfect for smaller kitchens. It looks small but it does have room for quite a bit. I have a big family but only rely on a microwave to reheat food or make porridge for kids so this is perfect for me. Compact, easy to use and affordable.
It’s a nice microwave. My husband is not big on reading directions. He can usually figure things out quickly on his own. I admit that it took both of us a bit of time to figure out how to set the power level and amount of cooking time. Once you know ‘the formula,’ it’s a snap to operate.
My husband and I each have one dislike. My husband thinks the platform that supports the microwave turntable could be better made. My dislike is around cleaning the mirror like front door of the microwave. No matter how often I clean it, or what products I use, it always looks streaky.
There may be a couple of minor dislikes, but there is a lot to like about this microwave.
Purchase this item on 3 things, Brand, features, price. I like Russell Hobbs, they have been a round for years. I was particularly looking for a digital timer, i don’t like the dial timers, not accurate and in a microwave seconds can decide on burnt or not. Microwaves are so cheap nowadays they are not worth repairing. This unit is to replace a microwave with i purchased from Tesco 4 years ago for 60 so not much has changed. In fact, the software on the Russell hobbs is exactly the same so i am thinking they may have made the Tesco Variant?
Performs well and have had no issues. However, due to the circular nob you use to set the times etc, it can be oddly confusing at first. Once you know how it works there are no issues, but its not intuitive as other microwaves ive had have been. Thats my only main issue with it. Aside from that it has a good volume and can handle our large plates, has all the functions you’d expect (defrost and weight settings etc) and looks very sleek. Easy to clean too.
Also I never thought I’d miss the wee button that opens the door? Odd aside but just something that surprised me about myself.

It is the most attractive microwave that I have ever owned. Looks good in the kitchen and is easy to use.
We’ve had this about a year and it’s still going strong. The glass is annoying to keep clean but otherwise it’s great. Easy to use.
I don’t like that the waves are so small I cannae see them. I know it’s a micro wave but there’s micro then there’s MICRO. I like that it’s black and the doors shiny. I don’t like that it has no panoramic sunroof or heads up display. I like that it cooks stuff I put in. I don’t like that it explodes paint tins and makes a mess. It’s not very portable either, no battery or wheels and the cables only a metre long so I can’t really take it to the shops. It’s easy to use and it’s a rectangular shape. The display is easy to see but the light insides a bit dull. It’s hard to watch and see my porridge boiling over. Other than that I like it fine.

Quite simple to use and easy to get used to, but haven’t been able to find out any information about changing the time shown on the display. So I’m stuck with it being 1 hour ahead, which isn’t too bad I guess, but kinda annoying. Besides that, though it’s a great MW, relatively easy to clean, simple interface and it looks sleek and modern enough to fit well in most kitchens.
There is a slight disadvantage to this black model because the inside is dark to check if it needs cleaning but this is minor.
Controls are pretty standard and straightforward (though I don’t like the trend to flush fitting buttons which don’t feel as secure as they used to ) and it is a pleasure to use.

My main gripe is the front isn’t the easiest to clean, it’s definitely like a mirror surface, not black like in some of the pictures (that would just be a black reflection in it).

At first I thought bthis microwave was a lot smaller than my previous one but it’s actually perfect. Fits a large dinner plate in there with no problem. Love the all black look and it fits in perfectly with my other appliances. Heats food without an issue, display is easy to navigate and it was super easy to figure out all the settings

I was very impressed when I opened the box revealing the gorgeous mirrored door which compliments the black finish very well.

Very happy! It’s sleek but also quite big. Super happy with my purchase. If you’re someone who likes your food piping hot, 3mins on any standard dish is about right.
Stylish and compact. Looks good on worktop. It has been designed to take up minimum space. Probably not suitable for family use, but fine for single or couple. Slightly less high inside than my previous microwave, but this only affects a larger steamer I use for jam making. Have to put the lid on with handle inside. A normal sized plate will fit. Microwave is ingeniously designed to allow this.
Only quibble is I find I have to allow slightly longer cooking times, especially on defrost, than my previous oven, even though both are/was 800w
Standard microwave does every thing you want it to. However the timer on it is awkward. You have to turn the dial left once and then right until the correct time. It’s just a little thing but it’s slightly annoying.

My only difficulty was to understand in what row to press the buttons to make it work, if you are like myself that like super easy please patiently read the manual. Except of this an excellent microwave, does the job, it’s not making noice, it got a sound when the timer is off and auto stop and it got nice design. Easy to clean too.

First thing I microwaved was popcorn, usually 3 mins is enough, this one only needed 2 minutes before my kitchen smelt like burnt popcorn…doh. Once the smell had gone after. Few uses, smells better. There are settings to cook on a lower power, but obviously I didn’t do that the first time.
