Compact packaging, comes with 2 keycap removers, and a usb type c to usb type c, and a usb type c to usb, (usb type c being the connection in the keyboard, that can be ingrained within the keyboard) a slightly bulky and short cord, with a few kinks though

I really have enjoyed this keyboard so far. I got the Black switches and they are everything that I wanted. I don’t like reds because they are too easy for me to fat finger keys, but the blacks have just enough force that it makes it so when you rest your fingers on it you don’t accidentally press any buttons.

I haven’t installed the software (bad experience from different products) but the light control directly from the keyboard is top notch and allows good RGB customization right from the keyboard. Comes with a USB and USB-C cable so it works well for me when switching between my work computer and personal computer (mac and PC). If you’re going to use it for mac though just be aware that it doesn’t have the apple key so you’ll have to custom bind your keyboard if you want to have the mac functionality. .

This is my first mechanical keyboard and I’m loving it. I could not believe I would get so excited over using a keyboard. I went for the CherryMXBrown switches as I felt it would give me the best of both worlds (good for gaming and typing). I also like how the ten key less design does not take much space on my desk and I can keep the mouse where the numpad would have been on a regular keyboard. I’m not a huge fan of RGB lighting so I went with the space grey. Makes my home office setup look clean and professional.

Previously I bought a cherry mx brown and it was a little clicky and I made more mistakes with that because it’s more click sensitive. This cherry black keyboard much better to type on. It has more resistance and I reduce mistakes on my sloppy typing skill. The plastic keys are high quality and doesn’t sound hollow and has nice texture.

Super high quality. Only thing is that I wished the switches were lubed but I know that’s not normal to sell pre lubed switches. Get a hotswappable board if u want lubed switches

The keyboard feels and looks greats only complaint is that it is kind of pricy for what it is, backlighting is on another level, have not seen a keyboard with this nice of backlighting, but i still think the best bang for your buck is the hyperx TKL, i love that keyboard and its super solid. I would recommend this keyboard if it’s in your budget, but if not the hyperx is almost just as good

I purchased the Durgod Taurus K320 TKL (non-backlight version) with Cherry MX Brown switches.

This is my first mechanical keyboard, so take my opinion lightly to the veteran enthusiasts. My principal usage for the keyboard is typing essays and articles, but I do enjoy some gaming on the side. I prefer the tactile bump of the Cherry MX Brown’s, which I tried out in a retail store a while ago, so I already knew what switches I wanted. The keycaps are wonderful and feel like a dream; they remind me of my keyboard I had about 20 years ago in both the font and the feel, so maybe there is some sense of nostalgia. I never found a need for the number pad on my full-size keyboard, so the TKL was a natural fit for me. It feels very sturdy, and the rubber standees keep it from moving around on my desk. I enjoy the routing options under the board, which allow me to run the included cable either left or right.

I was debating between this keyboard the Keychron but the height of the keycaps/board and the angle of the board was a real turn off for me. This keyboard does not require a wrist rest and is very comfortable.

If you can forgo the gamer aesthetic, this is the keyboard for you. It has changed the way I think about keyboards and is absolutely worth the steep price tag.

Built like a tank, a quality keyboard

The feedback strength to the finger is perfect. Maybe a little bit loud, but it is OK.

I’ve had many keyboards over the years, and have been using mechanical keyboards for decades.

Recently got this Durgod in, with the speed silver caps, and it is just a joy to type on.

Great construction quality. I got the white backlight keys version, and also glad I opted for this one, as the backlighting is done really well, looks good and well put together.

One really minor negative, it feels like the keys are a bit too close together, ie the width of the board isn’t long enough. This could completely be imagination and I’ll refer you to the specifications, but feels my hands are at too much of an angle towards each other (like a triangle point), wish the board was a just a bit more spread out. I tried the full length Durgod as well but felt the same issue. Maybe a more ergo-friendly version could be in the future.

Overall no hesitation in recommending this very fine keyboard. Typing on speed silver is a joy.

Excellent Overall Mechanical Keyboard. Durgod hit all the right things for the price range, and this represents a great value

I am writing this review on my new Durgod K320 mechanical keyboard at the end of my first day with it. The K320 will continue to take a little getting used to to get back to my normal typing speed, but overall I am happy with my purchase. I was hesitant to purchase the K320, as I was disappointed with the feel of their Hades Keyboard and returned it within a day. This is definitely a higher quality keyboard, and I am keeping the K320. Shout out to “Bad Seed Tech” on YouTube, as I purchased this board based on his review and so far everything he covered has been spot on.

The keyboard I purchased uses Cherry MX Clear switches, and they feel closer to a linear switch than I was expecting. This may be because my previous mechanical keyboard used Kailh BOX White switches, which include a much sharper bump due to their click bar design. I wish the tactile bump was sharper, but there is a slight enough bump to prevent me from bottoming out. The MX Clears are much quieter than the BOX Whites, which my officemates already appreciate. Being my first experience with MX Clears, the adage that they are “stiffer browns” appears to be very accurate. If you are looking for a more pronounced click, you should like at the BOX Whites I mentioned above, as the click bar design provides better audible and tactile feedback than the MX Clears do.

The keycaps are excellent, with a slight texture but overall they feel smooth during normal typing with a nice curve at the top. They have a clean, well defined font bright white font which easily stands out in a dim lit room even without backlighting from the glow off the screen. They keycaps are lighter than shown in the pictures, but to me this is a good thing and the overall look of the keyboard is fantastic. I am glad Durgod chose to use quality, double shot PBT keycaps, especially in comparison to the keycaps that came with the Hades model. I will most likely order colored keycaps for the modifiers at a later date, but only for aesthetics as the keycaps that come with the board are excellent.

There is a slight amount of rattle in the modifier keys and the spacebar, but not enough that it detracts from the overall typing experience with the board. The stabilizers are “stiffer” on the inside of the key closer to the board, with more wobble on the outer edge of the key which from my experience is normal with Cherry MX style keycaps. These are not perfect, but for a factory keyboard they are very good.

super light and fast mechanical keyboard. A nice update to my well loved, aging steelseries 6gv2 (cherry black). The speed switches are better for everything. The construction quality of the keyboard is as good if not better. Slightly noisier when bottoming out.

Great quality. Very solid construction with good weight to it. Doesn’t move at all on the desk. I type a lot for work, and it is very satisfying to type on with the cherry Mx brown tactile switches. No rgb, no nonsense, quality mechanical keyboard. Would absolutely recommend.

I love when I get something my hands that makes me feel like my savings were well spent. This is that. It’s simple and very sturdy. It’s louder than my former membrane keyboard, but I expected that. At least I don’t have to worry about wearing a hole through my W key membrane on this one. I hadn’t realized the dual functionality of the F1 – F7 keys which when used with the Fn key, control playback and volume! I thought I would lose that from my old keyboard, but I tried it it and it works on my linux desktop! Very useful when voluming up/down during movies with loud music scenes leading to hard to hear vocal scenes during full screen playback. I love this thing! The keys feel so naturally arranged and well proportioned to my fingers, leaving me with little to no guesswork unlike some others that have had that effect on me.

Klare Kaufempfehlung!

    Besser als Corsair!

I’ve owned a fair amount of mechanical keyboards in my life, ranging from Logitech, Razer and Corsair. Nothing comes close to my Durgod K320. The build quality for the price is just unbelievable to be honest. Even without backlight, the lettering is perfectly visible in low light environment. If you’re looking for a nice, minimalist and clean looking keyboard, I highly recommend !!!

Recently decided to upgrade my home office coincidentally around the start of the COVID shutdowns, and I was searching for a good mechanical keyboard. This is my first mech keyboard, and I was concerned that the switches weren’t going to work for me. I was 100% wrong. I got it with cherry red switches, and so far using this keyboard has been great!

I want to start by saying that for the money, this is a very decent keyboard especially when looking at the keyboard enthusiast market. I bought the white version with cherry MX silent reds which as expected aren’t very loud. I got this board 2-3 days ago and have been typing on it for multiple hours a day.
    Pros:
    – Keycaps have great quality and feel (as expected from double shot PBT)
    – The quality of the board is incredible great heft and material feels very premium
    – Switches feel great for me personally
    – 2 different height adjusters is great for different feels and positions
    – Usb-c cable is not too long or short (usb-c to usb-c)

    Cons:
    – Spacebar has wobble which doesn’t sound great on the right side
    – When bottoming out the keys, there is a resonance coming from the plate which doesn’t sound the best but can be fixed imo with o-rings which i’ll be doing soon.
    – I am used to low-profile keyboards so I will be getting a wrist-rest but everyone likes different things so it’s only a con for me personally
    – I haven’t been using the keyboard for long and can already hear a slight squeak coming from the space-bar.

I can’t say I don’t recommend this keyboard as the wobble on the spacebar and enter key might be one-off occurrences but if it isn’t it is pretty annoying. In addition to that a lot of my cons are personal preference so can’t base yourself only on this alone. All in all you can definitely get a better keyboard if you have a bigger budget but for the price this board is decent.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have/had filco, leopold, HHKB , realforce.. etc. The Durgod K320 with mx browns can compete quite well with filco, and leipold, even KUL. The keycaps are double-shot PBT with the cherry profile. Note that new MX browns can feel scratchy when new. Give it a week or so of steady typing and the scritchiness goes away. They really are excellent switches.
Overall build quality is fine. Using this on my mac and use karabiner to remap keys as needed. No backlighting but I don’t consider that an issue.
Great value for the price. Would recommend.

This is my first decent keyboard priced over $100. I used to use a budget mechanical keyboard priced around $5 0with brown keys, and now I migrated to cherry MX blue. This one is not a gaming keyboard, so it doesn’t have any cheesy logo which usually gaming product does like a ship or a dragon something like that. It just has a DURGOD logo printed on its right bottom side on the front of the board. Overall, I like this a lot and I can say it’s a good quality for the price.

You may think this typing sound is a bit loud (that’s not because of this keyboard but it’s from the Blue keys’ feature) with rubber o-rings, it sounds much less irritating and much quieter. Overall, 4/5!

I was looking for a TKL keyboard with white leds and this is such a great fit. The build quality seems incredible and the amount of functions for the lighting is surprisingly impressive. I also enjoy the keycaps which are double shot pbt. I will update my review if anything else comes up but so far this is a great keyboard for the price.

    Pros:
    – Solid build quality considering plastic finishes all around
    – Apparently has a metal plate inside adding to the rigidity
    – USB-C to USB-A, and USB-C to USB-C Cable included
    – Keycaps are nice to use, soft texture but not rubbery
    – All larger keys are stabilized well with no clatter. Since they use switches as stabilizers.
    – Compared to my older Hyper-X mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX browns, they’re considerabily quieter

    Cons:
    – Not backlit, considering the pricepoint I’d prefer to see even a simple white led backlit
    – Software for key macros seems kind of useless
    – No USB passthrough
    – Keys seem to take more actuation force than compared to other Cherry MX Browns.

I got the K320 Corona(terrible timing with the name btw) with white backlighting and Cherry MX brown switches. Coming from a Quickfire TK, and a Corsair Strafe, both with Cherry MX brown switches as well, the Durgod K320 blows them out of the water. I purchased this as someone who watched many keyboard reviews online from channels focused on mechanical keyboard, and the Durgod K320 came up often as a keyboard with build quality and materials on par with keyboards 150$-250$.

    Here’s what sets it apart:

    +Doubleshot PBT keycaps.
Most keyboards in this price-range come with ABS keycaps, and these feel WAY BETTER to type on. Hard to explain but they just feel way more premium and like butter on your fingers. They are also way more durable, and being double-shot means the letters on the keycaps won’t go away overtime. Double-shot PBT keycaps alone cost 20-30$ for a full-set, so it’s great these are included considering the price.
    +Quality stabilizers and lubing
Again, difficult to explain unless you’ve tried it. These primarily affect the spacebar and shiftkeys. They feel way better to press, and the sound is more clean. My old mechanical keyboards feel loud and rattly in comparison.
    +Overall build quality and weight
The keyboard material is like high quality plastic, and there is an iron or steel backplate that really gives it much more weight and heft. This WILL NOT budge on a desk. Makes the entire keyboard feel very premium and high quality.
    +Clean attractive legend
The color scheme may not be for everyone, but I appreciate how non-gamery the typeface for the keycaps is. This will look just fine in an office environment.
    +TKL layout
I have just found this way better overtime then the typical full-sized keyboard. Unless you use the numpad often, TKL is better for gaming while having all the necessary functions of a regular keyboard.

What I don’t like or find lacking compared to other keyboards at this price point:
-The lighting isn’t even on the keycaps and isn’t RGB
White backlighting is sufficiently bright, but for keys with more text like the CapsLock or Enter key, the lighting is focused on the center of the key and then dims on the corners of the key, so the the entire text isn’t lighted evenly. A lot of keyboards at this price-point have RGB and more evenly lit keys.
-Durgod logo is too loud and ugly
The Durgod logo is on the bottom front of the keyboard, and is just “DURGOD” in an ugly font. I would’ve preferred a smaller text size or a more discrete logo that matches the keyboard’s otherwise minimalist aesthetic.
    -Lack of different switch types
For a majority of people Cherry MX switches will be a huge upgrade from membrane or chicklet-style keyboards, but for mechanical keyboard enthusiast, Cherry MX switches leave a lot to be desired. It would be nice to see this keyboard or a future revision with Kahilh, Gateron, and other switch-types. Hot-swappable keyboards are becoming more common and will allow users to swap out switches to try out new ones.

Overall, this keyboard is fantastic and is an amazing value for what you get in terms of build-quality and keycaps. Look elsewhere if you want something more gaming-focused and with a variety of lighting affects.

I bought this with cherry brown switches. The board and caps feel better than I was expecting. But the space bar I got was a bit slanted.
    Switches are authentic cherry browns.

I swapped out the keycaps for custom keycaps so the space bar being slanted wasn’t a long-lasting issue.

This board would get 5 stars if only there wasn’t so much reverb when typing. In a silent environment, you can clearly hear a ping and echo when you type coming from the board.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThere are many companies out there pushing out mechanical keyboards like Corsair, razer, hyperx. etc. Then you have not very well known companies like Durgod who has surprised me to this day and it baffles me as to why not many people consider them when buying a keyboard. I have now two Durgod Taurus k320 in my collection. The first one was the gray version with only white led and it became my daily driver. I surpassed my expectation when I first bought.

Honestly this keyboard beats every other keyboard brand out there. I am currently typing this on my White k320 with cherry mx blacks. I really love the design of the keyboard and the color combo that was chosen. My gray durgod k320 with brown switches does seem to have a small spring sound when pressing the space bar but Im guessing it has something to do with the switch type because I don’t seem to have that issue on the one with cherry mx blacks. Seriously consider buying this keyboard and enjoy using it, I know I am .

This is the second mech I’ve ever bought. The first was an old Das Keyboard with Greetech Blues (MX Blue clones). I use my board primarily for writing, so I had a few boxes that I needed checked. I wanted heavier switches, a tactile bump, a (not to loud) click, PBT double shot key caps, retro styling, and a ten key-less layout for ergonomics. The Durgod really checked all of the boxes. If you aren’t into heavy switches, I’m sure the model with MX Blues would be equally fantastic. The build is plastic but feels rock solid. The spring loaded riser feet are rubber tipped so the board doesn’t slide on my desk at all. The key caps are wonderful and the legend (especially in the white model I received) are bold and unlike any board I’ve had before. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go back to lesser key caps. Also USB type C is a really nice touch. Honestly for the price, I couldn’t be happier.

Note: I don’t know what the deal is with Durgod’s catalog of their boards, but I can find nowhere else selling this board with Cherry MX Whites (and they’re not listed on the official website). They’re a pretty uncommon switch it seems. If that’s what you’re looking for, snap one of these up while you have the chance. They work for gaming too. I’m a typewriter enthusiast so the heavy feel isn’t too harsh and really cuts down on accidental keystrokes. A wrist rest is helpful for long typing sessions.

This is a great mechanical keyboard for beginners who are new to switches and also for collectors. It is well built, comes with double shot PBT key caps, the legends are classy, not the annoying gamer font. The stabilizers come lubricated already, so there is no rattle at all. Very clean, simplistic design. Built solid for an excellent typing experience. I got mine with Cherry MX Speed switches, I prefer the short travel and linear feel, makes for a quieter typing experience. This is after years of buying ‘Gamer mechanical keyboards’ in dealing with Cherry Blue and Razer Green clicky switches, the linear and quietness is a welcome. 5/5

I love this keyboard, the keys are light, it feels solid, it’s very clean and there is an insert button. This is a no fuss keyboard and it doesn’t have any Christmas lights (like so many other keyboards). It reminds me of my old Packard Bell 486 Pentium. It stays flat on the desk, doesn’t move, it’s heavy and there is some good rubber padding under it.

I picked it with no numpad, which is what I wanted for work. It’s a little bit noisy, but that’s expected from a mechanical keyboard.I picked it with no numpad, which is what I wanted for work. It’s a little bit noisy, but that’s expected from a mechanical keyboard.

I bought this to replace my Razer BlackWidow that had started to have some issues. I wanted to go with a quieter sound this time since I use it for work, and I don’t want to be obnoxiously loud when I’m on voice calls. So, I opted for the “Cherry Silent Red” switches and so far I’m extremely happy with the keyboard. They’re much quieter compared to the Razer Green switches, but I’m still able to type as well and as quickly as I could before. As a bonus, the lighting options are great. I’m really enjoying the twinkle one right now where each key has a different light and they rapidly change. Construction seems very solid as well. No complaints.

Honestly after one month I have had 0 problems. The switches feel like genuine cherry, and the keyboard has very little flex. Honestly if you don’t care about LEDs and the brand name this keyboard has better value than the one 2 in my personal opinion.

    Single con:
I also wish the manufacturer would provide more options than just cherry as gateron reds would of been a great fit for this keyboard bringing the overall price down.

The keyboard itself is very well made. Heavy deck, the flip-out feet feel sturdy and the finish on the space grey model is quite nice. The frame is plastic with a steel plate inside, but the plastic feels substantial (no bending or flexing). Overall, it’s well built.

On another note, this was an upgrade from a keyboard with Outemo Brown switches. Wow. What a difference. All I can say is that the Cherry MX brown originals are better. Much smoother, and the sound it makes is subjectively way nicer (more of a clip-clop rather than a click-clack).

I do not know what else to say but its a good board with nice keycaps and overall I love it. Quality is up there with leopold. The only gripe I have is I wish there was more switch options like on their 70% board the Hades. While Cherry still has a good name in the switch game there are many other companies with comparable options across the range. I do however unerstand about the complexity of making and distribution in that case which is made worse by the fact that TKL boards are not very popular in comparison to other sizes now.

    Update march/22/2020
Still like new still loving the board have had 0 issues. Also the angle of the keyboard is quite right and nice (I like a flatter position) and with the feet flipped down it is perfect for me but not totally flat.

    Will update in the future

This is a very solid keyboard. The keys are made from nice double-shot plastic and have a premium feel to them. My only complaint is that the keyboard makes a very noticeable ringing noise when you bottom out the keys. This is just loud enough to be annoying as you type. Even when I type relatively softly (avoiding bottoming out as much as possible), it can be quite annoying.

Nonetheless, I would still recommend this keyboard for people seeking a quality mechanical board at a fair price.

This keyboard ticks all the boxes for what I needed.

I play games but I hate the RGB gamer look. The aesthetic is sleek and minimalistic. Comes with a dust cover when you’re not using it. Keys aren’t too loud. Backlit with a simple white hue. And doesn’t have the number pad that I never use so bonus points for saving space!

Worth the investment if you’re looking for something like this. I can’t say much for overall wear and tear but we’ll see!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI use it at work. It’s one of my last reminders that a real and better world outside of the corporate sludgery may actually exist. As if typing “Per my previous email” to Dave in Project Management wasn’t satisfying enough, the endorphin rush of every fingergasmic keypress on your Cherry Brown double shot PBTs will have you believing that maybe you aren’t just a cog in a giant machine of unethical waste.

The keycaps on this feel fantastic to the touch, and the Cherry Silent Red switches are better than I anticipated. I had planned on buying a Glorious GMMK board, then buying custom Aliaz switches and TaiHao key caps, but decided to save about $100 and weeks of waiting for shipping by just buying this. The Aliaz switches would have been quieter, but this ended up being a fantastic choice. The customization options on the lighting are really good, too.

I bought this keyboard for a PC build that I am currently working on. After checking out a few TKL keyboards, I decided to go with this one because of the simplistic style and aesthetics, not to mention the size. It seems that most PC enthusiasts have an affinity for RGB lighting in their rigs, keyboards, mice, etc. I could personally care less about turning my PC into Friday night at a bar in the Castro district, so this red/gray color scheme will do just fine. I am currently typing this review on this keyboard, and will give an update in the next coming months.

    **Update**
It has been about a month now, and I am still satisfied with this keyboard. So much so that I am writing a review update on this keyboard just because I really like typing on it, and I just really want to keep typing on it. Still highly recommend.

    Update 2:

The USB issues have been mostly solved, although the keyboard still can’t wake my my from a deep sleep, while ever other connected piece can. On the other hand, since I switched to a different (and better quality) cable, I haven’t had the situation where the keyboard wouldn’t work until disconnected and then reconnected.

Since I got the keyboard I’ve been using it exclusively and have a couple more notes:

    – The mechanism feels a bit scratchy. I’m not super happy with it, but it works okay.

    – The keycaps, when off, feel a lot less good than when installed. I don’t have a lot of modern comparison, but compared to an Apple Extended II keyboard, these caps are low(ish) middle class feeling at best.

    – The hollow clacking when bottoming out (fairly easy on Cherry Blue) got on my nerves so I added o-rings on all keys, this made the keyboard sound less “hollow clacky”, but also added a certain “mush” to the feel. Not sure what I like better, the hollow sound without the o-rings or the very slight mush with them installed.

    – I had to add some shortcuts through MacOS built in tools to get some of the functionality back. Mostly Ctrl-F12 as a shortcut for a restart. It’s a bit unfortunate that I can’t remap ScrLk and Pause, these keys just don’t come through on the Mac tools I’ve tried, although I was able to map PrtSc to something more useful than the default “nothing”: it shows the notification center side bar now, which works for me.

    – For ergonomic reasons I’ve added a wrist rest, since I found the keyboard plain too high to ergonomically use without one. It’s unfortunate that you have to buy something extra to adjust this.

    – The media keys work, which is fortunate as it would have really irked me if they didn’t.

Overall I think this keyboard is okay. I just can’t find it as great as some reviews want me to believe, maybe I’m just spoiled having used AEII and other nowadays “vintage” keyboards, that nevertheless were better than 99% of what’s available today.

If not considering the price, the keyboard would get three stars at best from me. Given the price and the currently existing competition I give it four stars, slightly reluctantly, but okay.

    Update 1:

Unfortunately I’m having issues with the USB wake when the computer went to sleep. I’ve swapped the cable and port now to see whether it makes a difference. I hope this doesn’t persist. It feels like I’m not able to wake the computer from deep, power saving sleep with the K320. And once woken up, the keyboard often doesn’t work. The caps lock light shows, but nothing happens on screen. I have to disconnect and reconnect the keyboard in this case.

If this persists, I’ll have to downgrade my review. For now I’ll leave it as is, giving it the benefit of the doubt.

    Original Review:

I”m using the K320 with a Mac and MacOS Mojave. Since there is no Mac software I’ve just remapped the Alt and Win keys to have swapped functionality. The media keys work, but are of course slightly different than on a Mac keyboard. I don’t have much of a problem with that. I don’t use it as gaming keyboard but as my daily keyboard since I wanted something with more hub on the keys and with the brown switches it’s acttually pretty good for this. Not too loud, but of course louder than one of the super low profile Apple keyboards.

    What I like:

    – High quality switches
    – Good heft to the construction, it’s not moving on the desk
    – High quality materials, mostly plastic but even that feels good
    – The keycaps are great, feel good and will probably last a long time
    – The included cables are decent quality and I appreciate that there is an USB-C cable included as well

What I don’t like or think could be made better:

    – I wish there was a good wrist rest included, but I understand the financial constraints
    – The cables could be a bit more flexible and braided
    – I’d love to have simple white backlighting, but I can live without
    – I wish there was a simple Mac software to create Macros and map keys like PrtSc, ScrLk and Pause
    – I think it could still be slightly quieter (dampened?), but maybe I’m just spoiled in this regard

Since most nearly all keys work nicely, the missing Mac software is not a problem for me, it would still be nice to be have a Mac variant (Cmd key caps). I have a third party wrist rest on order and hopefully that will take care of the remaining issues I have with the ergonomics of a higher keyboard.

Overall I can highly recommend this keyboard and look forward to using it for a long time.

I was looking for a non-flashy, non-backlit, professional mechanical keyboard to use at work. This keyboard definitely met all the requirements. It’s plug and play, no software needed. It feels great and is not too loud (I went with the brown switches and they feel great). The key caps are top quality with a slightly textured finish. This keyboard feels just as good to type on as my more expensive Razer Blackwidow keyboard on my home computer. Very satisfied with the keyboard, definitely worth considering for professional use.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersThis review is for typists, not gamers. I wish I had the brain to customize and outfit my very own superduper mechanical keyboard like all those showoffs at r/mechanicalkeyboards, but I’m not that guy. As a writer and student though, I spend at least five hours per day typing. Years ago, someone mentioned to me how moving away from a membrane keyboard would reduce fatigue and slow me down, meaning fewer mistakes. I gave it a try and of course never looked back. My first was a Corsair with MX Reds, and chasing the sensation I quickly “upgraded” to Browns. I bought the Taurus in Blues. I have used a Drop CTRL (then Massdrop) and honestly don’t feel like there is enough apparent quality difference between the two to justify the extreme increase in price. Sure, the aluminum is nice and the effects are cool, but if you’re like me and plainly need something that will keep you typing with satisfaction, look no further.

I have three minor gripes. One, I wish the Taurus had the same switch options as the Hades. I would have preferred the Gaterons to the MXs if possible. Two, the white of my keyboard is far whiter than the image appears. I was expecting a slight bone color, but this is brighter, whiter. This undoes some of the retro vibe, but not harshly. Everyone who sees it thinks it’s a 30 year old keyboard (in a good way). Finally, the lifts underneath the frame are good (two heights to choose from), but they flip forward, rather than out to the side. The result is if you have them out and push the keyboard forward, they flip back in. Not a big deal, but a little annoying if you move your keyboard a lot as I do. This is the main reason I didn’t give five stars.

As others have said, if you’re hung up on the plastic body, don’t worry about it. This thing is nice and heavy, sturdy, and has great clean lines. And honestly, if you’ve never used a metal-housing board before, consider how cold it constantly is compared to the not-so-cold keys. This trips me out and is why I returned my CTRL. Above all, the Taurus is among the best things I’ve ever typed on and for the money, has no peer.

Bought this after I returned my razer optical keyboard and I couldn’t have been happier with my purchase. I got mine with mx browns and it’s wonderful, slight pinging though but that’s to be expected. My only issue really is that the cables aren’t braided, they are rubber which I personally don’t like. The keyboard is very sturdy with high quality rubber feet so it wont slip at all during use and it’s a lower profile than most other boards so it’s more comfortable to type and a wrist wrest isn’t needed.

Good build quality, and thankfully not gamer/RGB themed. All keys sit straight and have a consistent feel when pressing/depressing. The larger keys (space bar, shift, enter, etc.) can be pressed from the edge and will still move straight up/down.

No software issues. Function keys work as expected (brightness adjust, volume keys, etc.). Did not have to install any special drivers (tested on linux mint and windows 10).

The package included two cables (USB-C to USB-A, and USB-C to USB-C), a key cap puller, and a velcro cable tie.

The only issue I can come up with is that some of the larger keys aren’t evenly illuminated (caps lock, shift, etc.). This is because each key uses the same sized LED for backlight, so the LED doesn’t shine evenly underneath the entire lengths of the long keys. You will only notice this if you spend a lot of time staring at the keyboard (ha-ha). It did not bother me.

I included 3 pictures. One of the top of the keyboard, and two with the F1 key removed to show the switch and the underside of the key cap.

I also own the VELOCIFIRE TKL02 Mechanical Keyboard which on paper is the same keyboard at only $33. The Velocifire has knock-off brown switches, cheaper key caps, is noisier, and is not programmable. I can buy 4 velocifires for the price of this keyboard but the Durgod has great quality and sounds better to type on. I spend a majority of my waking life touching a keyboard so the Durgod Taurus was worth the investment. That may not be true for everyone.

Update, flaw: multimedia keys on the gray function keys cannot be seen! See the photo. The photo is with the LED level turned way down. If you turn it up to the level you’ll want, then the icons completely disappear. I’ll probably paint the icon myself which seems ridiculous for a keyboard at this price. On the gray keys those multimedia icons should have been painted black. Or make them reflective so that the light from the LED shining on them will illuminate them.

Fantastic keyboard but worth the price? One minor flaw.

High quality keyboard with an old school aesthetic. The keyboard is appropriately weighted which comes with using high quality materials. The outer shell is comprised of heavy duty plastics much like the one’s used in the 90’s. The inner workings are aluminum and steel. I really appreciate the MX Brown switches. I had blue switches on my last keyboard and while it was a great mechanical keyboard it was just too loud. This keyboard brings me back to the 90’s. It’s pleasing to the eye. You won’t find any “bling” here. No RGB or flashy designs. Just a sturdy workhorse that feels great to type with but also is pleasing to the eye. I highly recommend this keyboard. Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI took a chance on Durgod having never dealt with the company and oh man I am so happy. What a build!

    Pros:
    – Screams quality. Very solid build / rugged + weighty + stylish
    – Every key is snappy and responsive
    – The sound of the keys being pressed is delicious to the ears on this board. Not a “tinny” or scratchy/springy sound but more like that satisfying “clack” you get with stacking dominos or quality/heavy poker chips. As an audiophile this was very important to me and I’m soooo pleased with the sound!
    – Clear font on the keys, paint doesn’t look to be wearing down at all after months of use.
    – Basic but nice features, some programmable things and macros in the software, windows key lock functions right on the board.
    – Removable usb-c cable with great design. It’ll feed the cable left, right, or center as you like.
    – Usable as a blunt force weapon in case of break-ins. Would possibly win in a cage match vs a Maglight flashlight or a Nokia 3310.

    Cons
    – No backlight or numeric keypad for the highish price.
    – Switches are not hot-swappable so choose wisely unless you want to get into the modding/solder world of switches.
    – Cherry Speed Silvers might be too sensitive for typists, read below

    Overall it’s incredible.

Note of caution: If you get the cherry silver speed switches, they are _VERY_ sensitive. It will take a bit to get used to. I’m saying if you simply rest your fingers on the keys the slightest weigh can trigger input from this. Like if you accidentally brush your hand on the board grabbing for it, it might mute your audio and open 3 chrome browsers, that level of sensitive. Early on I was trying to figure out why my character in Vermintide 2 was listing right and left until I realized just resting my fingers on WASD was sometimes causing input. Silvers do NOT require a full press, they require an overweight fly to land on the key lol.

But this is not a con, it’s actually great after you re-train muscle memory a bit to accommodate it. Now I can get ridiculously fast input when I need them for gaming, really changes things for the better.

    Get this beast!

Solid double shot PBT keycaps, better than just about any other keyboard at this price.
Nicely stabilized keys, much more satisfying to type on than any other keyboard I’ve tried at this price range.
No ExTrEmE gAmEr legend font, just a very clean readable one.
No RGB lighting. I prefer it this way as I am not a 6 year-old child who is easily entranced by flashing lights.
No unnecessary multimedia keys or volume knobs clogging up the keyboard.
    Lots of switch choices.
    Tasteful, minimal branding.
    Sounds great.

This is my first mechanical keyboard and oh my god am I happy to have made the switch from a cheap Logitech! I was close to spray it with WD40 because the buttons just would not want to be pushed down anymore. That’s probably why I have to get used to not having to push so hard on the keys. I already feel faster typing, I don’t have to move my hand so far to reach the mouse because it is TKL and my shoulder will thank me for it.
I am very happy with the MX Blue even though I was not sure if it was too clicky for my taste but I just fell in love immediately. The build quality is really great and solid. The keyb has a nice weight to it, and 10keyless is just so nice.
Then there’s the feeling of the pbt double shot keycaps – I love how these feel and I think I’m pretty much sold on those for life lol. They have this great textured feeling that isn’t glossy, is just a tiny bit “grippy” if you can call it that? The main thing I like about them is that they don’t get slippery or greasy(?). You always have a good hold on them.
And the sound these keys make are nice and satisfying. I’ll try to get around to making a video at some point.
Mine has cherry MX brown switches which I love.
Love the minimal sleek design as well.

I feel like maybe this keyboard could be a bit more affordable, but I do feel like I got what I paid for.

This is my second keyboard from them, and I am convinced I have never had a better built, styled and felt keyboard in my life. The double shot and textured keycaps with the excellent switches mounted in the rigid base is one of a kind experience, ALL Logitech, Razer, Corsair, HyperX Keyboards (yes, mechanicals as well!) feel cheap and lazy in comparison ! I have had many mechanical keyboards before, but settled with these for life. The added extras, like keycap remover, dust protective hard cover, 2 different cables, are just icing on the cake 😉

I bought the version with cherry mx brown switches and I’m very happy with it. The keyboard is sturdy with the metal plate inside and feels high quality with the doubleshot pbt keycaps. The keycaps were the main reason I opted for this keyboard and I can tell with the time I’ve used them that they’ll last. The cord is non braided but feels tough and in addition to the the normal usb a to usb type c cord, it also includes another usb type c to type c cord along with it. Overall I’m very happy with this keyboard.

I used to have a K70 and several LED’s started going then a few keys would occasionally miss registering, looked into getting a mechanical keyboard that also looks less “gamer-y”. THIS keyboard is solid, it isn’t made with metal BUT the plastic is thick and premium feeling. There is NO flex, unless you really try (But the same could be said of my K70 which had a metal housing). The footprint is tiny so if you have limited desk space or just want a small sleek keyboard I have to say this is an awesome option.

The way they have done this I do not see the USB-C port getting worn out by moving the cable around – This happens on lots of other keyboards.
I would definitely buy this again.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersPros
    – Nice build quality (casing is plastic, but for $100 it still feels pretty solid)
    – Decent out-of-box keycaps.
    – Satisfying clack to most keys.
    – USB C! And the ability to rout the cable straight out or to either side! This is seriously so important, I don’t want to buy a keyboard without USB C in 2019.

    Cons
    – The left shift key just doesn’t feel very satisfying to press. Considering that many, many games use this key, it’s something that I pretty much always notice. A lot of mechanical keyboards seem to have this problem and it’s likely because of stabilizers, even though the stabilizers on this keyboard come pre-lubed and lack much play or rattle, the actuation of the left shift just doesn’t feel as clacky and satisfying when you bottom out the switch. I’ve returned keyboards in the past over a very poor feeling LShift, though this keyboard’s LShift isn’t that bad. I can live with it. I just wish it felt better.
    – That’s honestly about it. The default cables it comes with are very thick and a bit stiff but that isn’t necessarily a con.

It’s a nice keyboard and I’m glad I bought it. I wish is that there was a CNC aluminum version (which would basically make this keyboard like an RGB-less CTRL clone) because that would be awesome. I also wish LShift felt just a little bit better, but it’s definitely usable.

Update: It’s worth noting that with time and a bit of use, the LShift key has improved in feel a bit. Still not as good as can be had on some other keyboards, but very usable to the point it’s a fairly minor complaint. This is one thing I think mech keyboard manufacturers as a whole could improve on though, stabilizer feel is a tricky thing but so essential.

This key board is perfect so far! Im tired of keyboards that print numbers and letters on the surface that you can’t see, and are mostly for the back lit led style. I spend time in a darker office and don’t like the back lighting so much, I just want a keyboard you can look at and see the keys. This board has easily readable keys and the gray/black color design is great. The angle of the legs is good too. This board also matches the ASUS ROG monitor color schemes which is awesome! Get this keyboard if you want a superbly designed product. No complaints yet.

-I went with the Red Switch Darker option. I really love this keyboard, its responsive, smooth feel and lower key typing. It feels very durable. I am now looking into custom keycaps. This is exactly what I was looking for in a keyboard. Customizable, but not too flashy. I was really looking for a old-school mechanical keyboard-style.
-Arrived at my doorstep very quickly
-Currently using it for playing FPS shooters and I really enjoy the quality for gaming, you are able to lock the windows option. The small form factor saved a ton of space on my desk.
-Currently tying this review, I’m using it for writing projects that I have and its really smooth and responsive for typing. I prefer the speed and responsiveness of the red switches. all the keys work and there is no odd noises when the keys are depressed. The cord can be attached and detached, it can also be fixed at different locations depending on the monitor.
-This is also my first mechanical keyboard. Great Decision, i was really shopping around and this one was just the best deal and quality after searching youtube and reddit for some reviews. Its pretty customizable and I like that, I’ll key some custom keycaps and possibly get a different colored cord.
-it sounds weird but I also feel a bit of improvement in gaming, it may be placebo, but coming from a Razer Cynosa, this just feels a lot more responsive and accurate.

The K320 by DURGOD is definitely a keyboard i’d recommend to any enthusiast or first-time mech keyboard owner.

Anyone interested in quality and a simple/minimal design can appreciate the job done with the K320. Very much a gaming keyboard, as much as it is any everyday use/work board. Being tenkeyless, it makes it easier to travel with. You also get PBT doubleshot keycaps and even comes with a keycap remover.

Overall, you’re getting great value – it looks good, feels good, and doesn’t break the bank.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our Usershis is my first time using cherry blue switches and they feel pretty nice, although i think green would have been a better fit for me. the keyboard is sturdy. it’s nice and heavy, and it has no flex or creak to it and the rubber feet on the bottom are large. the color scheme of the light grey version is nice and gives it a sort of late-90’s early-2000’s look which i’m a fan of. another great thing is that it has the ability to lock the windows key. the key caps don’t have much of a texture but they feel fine, i think i’ll probably replace them eventually anyway with a set that has a larger legend which should make it easier to see in the dark, given this doesn’t have a backlight.

something else that’s really good is that the usb port is recessed which is a big reason why i bought it. i was originally wanting to get a vortex vibe, but the thing that turned me off of it was the micro usb port which sits flush with the back of the case. this is really bad news for the sturdiness of that port over a long time, if you’re like me and your keyboard doesn’t sit perfectly stationary all the time and something might bump the plug. also, there’s USB-C, so DURGOD gets a big thumbs up for not staying stuck in the past with micro USB.

i would have preferred a full sized keyboard with blue switches in this light grey color, but for some reason it’s not offered through amazon, even though it is offered through some other sites. i don’t know why that is. i’m considering returning this through amazon and buying the full sized version instead from kprepublic. i don’t understand why amazon would offer the TKL version in all of it’s variations, but not the full sized version, it doesn’t make sense.

The keyboard itself is fantastic. Almost everything someone could ask for (for around 100 bucks mechanical keyboard)

The PBT keycap feels amazing. The genuine cherry mx key switch is great, and although the keyboard case is plastic, it feels solid and it doesn’t feel cheap.

It uses the standard keyboard layout as well, so finding replacement keycap will be fairly easy (which you don’t need to since the keycap provided with the keyboard is already so good)

The main problem with this keyboard is with the Durgod Zeus Engine software. It’s pretty terrible as is right now. Yes, you can use this keyboard without the software and you’ll be a happy man, but if you want to customize what each keys do, or change the keyboard layout, or anything mildly advanced, then you’ll be left frustrated.

That’s why I’m giving this keyboard 4/5 rating. If you don’t care about the software, then this is a 5/5 star keyboard. If your budget is around 100 bucks for a keyboard, don’t get corsair keyboard, don’t get razer keyboard. Buy this.

I’ve been through multiple mech keyboards in the past and this one takes the cake. If you’re looking for a good compact, durable, plug and play mechanical keyboard with minimalist aesthetic then this is a good choice. My only complaint would be the logo.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersi bought the white version of this keyboard specifically so i could die it to a beige color to match my 90’s era computer case. the keys took Rit synthetic Dye very well but the keyboard case turned an odd pink color. i ended up painting the case Rustoleum satin almond. my biggest complaint about this keyboard is that when it gets humid outside the keyboard presses multiple keys for a single keypress which makes this keyboard pretty hard to use when its muggy. other than that i love this keyboard. would recommend.

It took a while to get use to the red switches as there is no real feedback, but I’m glad I did. My typing speed is great on it, and It feels great to play games on.

Golden Review Award: 162 From Our UsersDurgod is currently the best under 100$ keyboard available in the market. It stands on par with Filco and Leopold in terms of build quality and performance. When compared to Coolermaster’s MasterKeys, it suffers from absolutely no key rattle (the spring tang noise you hear especially when you hit the enter, backspace or spacebar keys). It is also a slight bit less noisy than my Cherry MX Brown Switch Coolermaster TKL keyboard. Hence, methinks, the extra $20 dollars you pay is well worth it. The two detachable cables (not braided) supplied is USB type C, which is an added bonus.

Those were the pros and now for the cons…

    * The led lights for the capslock key is faint and not in-your-face bright unlike Coolermaster’s. Is this even a con, I wonder?
    * I have noticed some versions of this keyboard reviewed on youtube come with extra blue Durgod engraved keycaps supplied in other countries. This package came with a keycap puller but no extra keycaps.
    * Durgod website is lackluster or even nonexistent. Luckily, I have no use of their software.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis really is a good quality solid keyboard. The brown key switches are real cherry switches which are my personal perference. It has a good weight too, which gives it a great feel. One of the things I like is the height of the case surround, it’s low to the point of almost being a floating keys setup which is just another personal preference. Keycaps are a decent thickness doubleshot.

This keyboard gets a lot of daily use and I’m very happy with it.
