I bought this speaker when the small wired one I have used on my iphone for years finally died. I also use an Echo dot but also needed something that was battery powered. This speaker has exceeded expectations and I find myself using it instead of the Echo dot as well, as the sound quality is better, especially when listening to talking books. Would definitely recommend it.

Thus is compact, easy to use and has a good sound. The only reason I’d give it a 4 rather than 5 star is that i have an easy comparison to make with my partners which is twice the size and price. You get a more substantial sound out of it as might be expected.
I would not swap though as mine is easier to carry about and fits perfecting in the cup holder in my car. That’s great as I can use it there without it moving about.
I do love it, have only had it for a few months and think it should last years

Purchased as a gift but the recipient enjoys it. The sound is much louder than expected from such a small speaker, the sound isn’t too tinny either which can often be a problem with speakers like this. Set up was easy, and it was gifted to someone older who is starting to struggle with technology but they managed to get it all working and connected to phones and tablets with no issues. They are using it for watching movies on their ipad while they are stopped in a vehicle for work. They say the sound is much better than listening on the ipad alone, even without having it on the loudest volume. All in all a good little speaker.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my sister so had to wait until she opened it and as she’s a first time user of a Bluetooth speaker I pounced and connected it to my WiFi. Very impressive bass and the overall sound quality is excellent. Such a neat design too and I got her the rose gold which is very stylish and so tiny. I own multiple Bluetooth speakers which I really like but this one is so impressive it made me jealous! I can’t justify buying any more of them right now but this would be my first choice if I wanted another. It would be perfect for travelling with. I chose the brand above others as I have power banks by Anker which have been brilliant.

I had tried a few of these types of speakers but they all seem to come with flashing lights and a load of bells and whistles. I wanted a simple speaker that just sounds right and this hit the spot. Easy to connect, looks good with no distracting lights and connects without issue.

I have found Anker products to be really good and seem to knocks post off some of the more expensive products. Really pleased with this.

I bought this with the case because I foresaw dust issues down the line, it doesn’t fit in the holder in its case but I do tend to use the case when it isn’t in the car. My car speaker sounds like a fart-box and I was getting really annoyed so this was a must-buy for me.

Now I stick this little speaker in my cupholder and listen to audiobooks all day. It’s great with music also and positioned correctly you can experience quite a nice bass sound.

The item feels like a quality build and has a nice weight to it. I don’t know what else to say, no regrets!

Purchased this for use by children in their bedrooms – really surprised at how good the sound is. Have several items made by Anker and none have disappointed. It came partially charged and despite a few hours use, there hasn’t been need to charge them yet. I ended up getting one for my dad for Christmas to help boost the audio in facetime calls. He was also very impressed (and managed to connect it himself which is a testament to how well bluetooth works!). Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this.

I was amazed at the top quality and value for money of these two products.
Being of a certain age (pensioner) I am not techy and as my old iPod dock died along with my iPod I needed to replace my sound system for playing music using my iPhone in two spaces. One for my Yoga classes and one for physical warm ups for a choir which I sing with.
This speaker is wonderful – excellent sound quality for playing calming background music for a yoga class whilst being able to fill a large space with Christina Aquilera’s “Beautiful” not even a max volume.
Cannot recommend this product enough – bought the case to protect the speaker as I transport it in a backpack on my bike!

I use this to connect to my web radio. Rather than drag that around, I just connect this speaker to it (takes around 10 seconds) and then I’m good to go.

I use this everyday when I go into the bathroom for a shower. I’m impressed with the general sound quality. I have noticed that foil-backed plasterboard can really wreak havoc with its connectivity but I’ve found a “sweet spot” in the bathroom that works well. Oh, if the microwave is turned on in the kitchen (next to the bathroom) that, too, wreaks havoc with the signal.

But I like this speaker; it’s compact, has a long battery life (I’ve only charged it up once in several weeks) and has a great sound.

I’ve resisted buying a compact bluetooth speaker for years, never felt I had the need, but I got back from a recent trip and realised it would have come in handy. I saw this one at a good price and Anker is carving out a great reputation for quality reasonably priced products so went for it. Now I know lots of people rave about small bluetooth speakers but really I am so impressed with this speaker I stare at it and wonder how they can get that quality sound out of it. Superb (and I rarely write reviews, just felt I had to here).

This thing is Great for the size. I find that when parked on different surfaces, the sound quality improves. ie. Table surface, sounds more bassy and Bigger sound than on a harder surface IMO.

I put a 32GB Micro SD card in it full of mp3’s and it plays them with no problem. Holding the Volume button up or down for two seconds takes you to the next or previous mp3 track.
I had to pop out the Micro sd card to connect Bluetooth to my Tablet.

To use the Radio/Tuner, it needs the Micro USB Cable plugged in because it becomes the Antenna. After pressing the MODE Button it has a radio Hiss… then… Hold the Play button for 2 seconds and leave it to search and tune into stations. Afterwards, you can hold the up or down volume button for 2 seconds to flick to the next or previous Radio Stations.
The instructions could be easier to read, but it get’s you there. I totally recommend this Thing for the money. The sound quality and volume is Really Good. Plus it’s quite small and convenient to take it with you.
Remember, if you want the Radio On, it MUST have a Micro USB lead plugged in. (The other end of the cable does not need to be plugged in the wall socket to get radio Stations).

NO…. I am not the Seller and I’m not affilliated with the Manufacturer or anyone…. I’m just sharing my feelings and Tips because it will help you get it running quicker, instead of struggling through the instructions like I had to. 🙂 Happy Christmas

This is not going to fill your room with fantastic sounding music for your big party. This is a very capable speaker, and is perfect for a small space [bedroom etc.] It does have a great quality of sound, but this suffers as the volume increases, so if you are looking for something to blast out music this isn’t the one. I brought this on holiday recently, and this served extremely well on the balcony playing music via bluetooth from the phone. Sounded great and battery lasted so long I only had to recharge once in the 2 weeks.

higher volume distorted the sound, especially bass notes. Audiobooks sounded amazing from this little device.

Bluetooth pairing was a breeze, just switch the device on and scan for it on your phone.

this device is very portable, very small and compact [about half the size of a can of coke]

overall, well worth it for the scenarios above, not worth it if you are after something to entertain a crowd.

I am amazed at the good features of this speaker. A flashing blue LED while it seeks BLUETOOTH connectivity, which reverts to steady when it has connected. The same light flashes white when it needs charging, steady while it charges and off when charged. The volume is good and it can be controlled via the speaker buttons or the source device buttons. The BASS output is just amazingly good, especially for the size of the speaker. Not only such good features, but it looks just beautiful too.

    Pro’s
Great quality and volume sound output.
    Built in FM radio.
32gb Msd memory slot plays all your own music.
Connect’s to Bluetooth devices easily, no breaks.
    All day battery life.
Sound volume amazingly fills a room.

    Con’s

    Swapping Bluetooth devices is fiddly.
    Bit slow charging.

Absolutely brilliant piece of kit, and excellent value for money, but be prepared for it’s small size, you will not expect the output you get. !!

This tiny “boombox” was a birthday gift and a wonderful present!
It’s tiny, slightly heavy and therefore sturdy, it has very good quality sound for its size and a durable battery.
It has been connected to various devices such as phones and laptops to produce great sound quality.
I tried carrying it round the house on my shoulder because it is like a portable boombox but in the style of Back-to-the-Future only 10cm3 or even smaller. What a lovely speaker!

  16. Dale Smith says:

As others have said, for the size and cost of this speaker, it’s quality is exceptionally good. So much so, that I went straight back out and bought a 2nd one for my partner.

A couple of features that I didn’t particularly spot when I bought it. There’s a built-in FM Radio. It works off the USB cable as the antenna, so not the greatest pcik-up, but no problem getting local stations. Also, it has a microphone, so you can use the speaker to take and place calls without having to stop what you’re doing.

If I was being extremely picky, there are a couple of negative aspects. No bag or case (what do you want for the price), and doesn’t automatically shut off if it’s not active – it has a manual sliding on/off switch.

In summary, don’t hesitate to go and grab one of these.

For such a small unit I guess you can’t really complain about this device. Sound is pretty decent for something so small. Easy to use and straightforward to use.
Personally though I much prefer the “Ortizan” Bluetooth speaker at a few pounds more with 15w more richer sound and bass but slightly bigger and heavier.
However this little unit is impressive considering it really is so tiny.
7.5/10 would be my fair and honest score.
I certainly would not discount this for holiday travel etc. Great value for money.

Small & Practical without the punch

I already have a sonos speaker but it’s a nightmare to connect sometimes if I move it from 1 room to another so I wanted a cheaper one that can be moved to other rooms depending on what I’m doing. For a small speaker the sound quality is spot on and Crystal clear. It connects easily and small enough to pack in a bag if your off on holiday. For 20 it’s phenomenal

  19. Anonymous says:

Taking it out the box I thought bit small surely and can’t be any good can it. Well the sound quality is rather impressive and it works fine with my phone and Windows 10 laptops, so that’s what it was bought for so it seems to do what it says on the tin. Time will tell.

The instructions aren’t half bad either but read them twice just to make sure you get it.

I wanted a small portable speaker for our bathroom. Very surprised how small this was, pic next to a lighter for comparison, weighs nothing. The sound is great though, good bass, clear vocals, loud enough to fill a small room, wont deafen you like. If the 15 hour battery life claim holds up (all other Anker things have so far met expectations) then this is a bargain. So portable for taking on trips or for bbqs when not much table space etc. Very happy! Tested the deepest bass songs I knew and no judder or distortion.

So diddy! Yet it sounds great.

I used this for a meeting in a very large room and a Bluetooth connection at 15 metres was faultless. The only issue I had the first time was that the meeting had to be interspersed with music and the speaker turned itself after about 40 minutes. This was awkward due to the type of meeting which was being held. Lesson learned and now have speaker within touching distance to quickly bring it back from “hibernation”. Other than that, a powerful unit and superb quality for its size.

I wanted a small bluetooth speaker that would give good sound quality but be small enough to pack away to take on holiday. I have bought Anker products before and have been pleased with their build quality, and I was not disappointed with this speaker. My laptop can be slow to connect a bluetooth gadget and when I needed to connect the speaker quickly, I was delighted to discover that it connected with a 3.5mm cable to the headphone port on the laptop. To cap it all, the speaker has a built in radio. What’s not to like!

I love the fact that it lasts a long time without needing to constantly charge it and also for the fact that it can be very loud for a small device. However when turning on the device, it starts off very very loud and then sometimes the volume can get quite on its own which can be a bit annoying. But still a good product.

I was suprised at the size of the unit (about the size of a small can of beans) but so impressed at how quick and easy it was to connect to my phone. The sound produced is very impressive and I would say almost as good as a much, much higher priced Bose speaker. I’ve only had it a couple of days so will take time to find out how good its battery life is, but for 19 quid what can I say? Awesome!!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersFor 30 Pounds, this Anker SoundCore Mini does the job. The Audio quality is amazing, crystal clear, very small easy to carry around, put in your pocket or your bag. This speaker has an SD Card slot, audio port that allows you to connect your computer or laptop to your speaker. Also it has one radio station.

Two only things that makes me give it 4 out of 5 is no base still but the main issue is that this is not waterproof. So please do not buy this thinking its waterproof. This comes with 1 usb cable to charge your speaker.

If you dont worry about the base then go ahead and buy this speaker, but make sure you are not looking for a waterproof speaker as this is not one.

    Decent Portable Speake

The Soundcore Mini is a really small, portable unit. The sound quality is surprisingly good for the size of it, especially when playing music through an app such as jetAudio where you can use its graphic equaliser to tweak settings. The slot for micro SD cards is really handy (maximum capacity is 32GB), allowing you to play approximately 1,700 MP3s without needing your phone.
Setup was quick and easy, and the controls are simple to use. I’m very happy with the purchase and the sound is far better than I was expecting for the price and size.

Use it as a site radio…… Great sound and easy to operate.
Radio reception can be a bit sketchy but in good reception areas really great and lasts two full working days easily before recharging within a couple of hours.

Really nice design – kept simple and sleek with the added bonus of being lightweight. The sound is brilliant and the speaker is really easy to connect to any Bluetooth device. The only “issue” I’ve noticed is that when you first play any music it comes on at an extremely loud volume, even if all media has been muted. Other than that, I haven’t noticed any other issues and so would highly recommend.

I only received this today but it appears to do what it says ‘on the tin’. Not only that but it is a smart, minimalist design and a neat size. The sound quality is excellent and the range fits my purposes (I wanted to be able to listen to the radio outside on my decking without having to use earphones). I have also discovered that it will act as an external speaker for my laptop, which is an added bonus as it saves me having to buy one specifically. You just need an auxiliary audio cable, which I happen to have already. Great purchase for a very reasonable price.

I did not look at the dimensions of this speaker and assumed it was the size of a large cup size. Wrong. Was very surprised how small it was, then I tested itWOW the sound is the same or better than my much larger wireless speakers. There is surprisingly base also to this little thing, sound quality is very clear. This is great for picnics, holidays, or just when your our and about, as so small it’s easy to travel with. Love it, we brought it as we wanted some music played in a house we are renovating perfect.

Fantastic value, with Crystal clear sound, and superb battery life. To show how powerful this little gem is, my side door is 9 feet from our local park, and for some reason, the local youth hang around next to the fence playing loud Crap Rap, smoking and drinking. However, placing my tiny speaker on the wall, they only coped with 9 minutes of Tchaikovsky before ceding defeat, and taking off to play their mind numbing and profanity filled rap elsewhere. That’s how good this Anker speaker is.

Was looking for a bluetooth speaker for the garden over the summer. Seen a lot of options online but eventually went for this as the reviews made it seem like a great piece of kit. Happy to report that it is absolutely amazing! When it arrived I have to say the size of the speaker didn’t have me expecting much from it however it packs a punch for something so small. Decent bit of bass and really clear vocals. Get’s pretty loud for a small speaker. Don’t use the radio function so can’t really comment on that. A friend of mine was soo stunned at the sound quality and price that he went and bought one himself and he loves it. Very easy to connect – no fuss whatsoever and the battery life is staggering. Says 15 hours on the description and I can’t say exactly how much I get between charges but I wouldn’t say it would be far off that figure. All round great little speaker and I highly highly recommend it. Soo glad I picked this one!

I was nearly sucked into buying an Echo or Dot on Prime day, but was concerned about the privacy issues around such devices. All I really needed was a portable speaker to boost the music from my phone whilst getting ready in the morning, and this tiny Anker speaker fits the bill. It’s the size of half a can of soda and super light. Connects quickly out of the box and feels robust and good quality. The sound quality for such a small speaker is outstanding, and it goes up really loudly too, should you need it to. I can pick it up and take it with me wherever I want my music playing, even out into the garden. Such a nifty little device, and was a bargain at the discounted Prime day price of 15.99. It has a radio too, but you have to scan through the channels each time until you reach the one you want – a bit of guess work involved as there’s no way of knowing what frequency you’re on! Remember to plug in the USB connector as this acts as an aerial. All in all a fab piece of kit – exactly what I was looking for and more!

  34. Anonymous says:

This little (it’s smaller than the photo’s would suggest) Bluetooth speaker packs a big punch and the quality of sound is surprisingly good.
I have a number of Bluetooth speakers and this was purchased for its portability as it will easily fit in a jacket pocket or in a rucksack where it will take up next to no space.
At 15.99 on Prime day, it’s an absolute Billy Bargain and I’d be more than happy to pay the Amazon retail price.
The FM radio function works well when you attach the charging cable which doubles up as the aerial.
Bluetooth connectivity is a doddle and my iPhone 11 recognised the Soundcore Mini on the first attempt.
If you like to travel light and enjoy your music, then this is the speaker to buy.
    Highly recommended.

This is a very small speaker, it’s ideal for next to a bed or for sitting outside listening to the radio as it’s so small you can pop it in a jacket pocket. The sound quality is good if, like me you need something for the spoken word, for music it’s not really up to the job as the bass is almost non-existent due to its size limitations. It charges using micro USB and has an SD card slot. The battery life is excellent, the volume up and down and play and pause buttons are very clear and easy to use, but the power button and microphone button lose out due to the size of the speaker. Also you need the volume quite high to hear whether it’s connected via Bluetooth as the little noise it makes isn’t that clear – it does have a blue LED but if you’re not looking directly at the speaker you could miss that. It has a handy non-slip base and it’s pleasant and unobtrusive to look at.

All in all for 23.99 I do feel I could have bought something with more ‘punch’ to it but as I need this for audiobooks and the treble and mid range tones are clear and warm then I’m happy with it.

    Good little speaker with limitations

A superb sit in the palm of the hand size device with excellent sound and battery life and easy to use instant Bluetooth connection. I’m delighted with this although I’ve deducted 1 star for reason of a minor niggle in that it goes to sleep after a period of inactivity which requires is to be switched off and back on again. First world problems I know but it’s just a bind when I want to listen to the radio in the morning.

I was dubious of the reviews but I must admit this is an ace little speaker. Have had it a couple of days now and still cannot get over how good this sounds. Hopefully long term it will remain as good. My wife is already looking at stealing it as it sounds so much better than another make of speaker she has, so I may end up buying a second one. Very happy so far.

‘Wowser’ seriously throws out great sound and yet so small! Bluetooth connection so easy to set up and good connectivity. This is great for the garden as I play music from my phone which does not sound great but by playing it through the Anker mini totally transforms the sound quality. Rechargeable and battery life lasts a long time have not had to recharge yet! Highly recommend you won’t be sorry.

  39. MZYUseegou says:

This product is impressive, so I bought a second one. It’s actually one of the best products I’ve ever purchased of any kind for the following reasons:
there is no friction with my soundcore mini because the battery lasts for days so I don’t have to think about it, and the sound quality is so good I just leave it to do it’s thing whatever genre I’m playing. The sound is great for music with great balanced bass but also very clear on speech and movies. It is in short a very well coloured and balanced eq.
Finally one of my favourite things about the Anker is the construction quality. It feels like die cast metal…. who builds with die cast metal nowadays?!
Buy it – it’s brilliant, and loud!

  40. MamieRosenthal says:

Bought for wife. Hoped not too loud as I didn’t want to hear her music. Sadly it is loud and clear has a great tone. I can hear it in the attic when she plays it in the kitchen. Accidentally dropped it onto bathroom tiles from about 7 feet up when listening in shower and it remained undamaged and kept playing. Also plays music from a micro SD card, so I’ve filled that with my excellent selection of albums. Great battery life, great sound and unbreakable.

I wanted a little Bluetooth speaker so I could listen to music at work – phone didn’t have the volume or projection to even be heard in my environment.

I went on Amazon, searched Bluetooth speaker, this came up. Price was good, high stars in review, ordered without really reading.

It arrived next day, took it out box – impressed with wieght. The main body is metal – I just assumed it would be plastic.

Connected to my phone easily. Music sound quality? Well it’s not going to rattle your fillings out with bass but it’s very good for what it is. Loud, clear, pretty balanced – not just “what I was after” – but about 10x better than I expected.

Then I got reading the manual. You can load an SD card with mp3s if you like, and it will play them – so doesn’t require tethering to a phone at all if you aren’t into that.

THEN I saw it had FM radio built in – uses the included USB charging lead as an antenna. Blown away. If I just want to listen to the radio at work, I don’t even need my phone in range, and don’t need to burn up my phone battery (or the speakers) running Bluetooth. Reception seemed excellent, and again sound quality mind boggling for the size of the thing.

AND THEN – I realised when you are connected to it via Bluetooth, you can take calls through it. The sound quality makes the caller crystal clear, and it has an inbuilt mic which works pretty well. Hands free call ability also included.

Due to me only expecting a basic speaker, I was utterly impressed by all this. And all for around 18 delivered (I got a “used” deal but the box hadn’t even been unsealed).

One of the best arbitrary purchases I’ve made in a long time, and it was completely by accident. And the best bit? No more dull quiet backshifts. Superb all round!

I wanted a small speaker for work and when I’m doing bits of DIY, jobs in the garden etc.

I have some Anker products which have largely been positive purchases, this has over 50k reviews and a really competitive price point so I picked one up.

    The Good –

The speaker is small, similar to a tennis ball in Size. Don’t be fooled.

It has a nice reassuring weight to it. It can definitely act as a paper weight as a secondary function.

The build quality is superb, the plastic is robust and doesn’t scratch easily, the push buttons are well designed rubber affairs. The bottom of the unit has a very good anti slip surface attached which is great for the car dashboard, tables and tool boxes.

I belive the weighty build quality and anti slip bottom also help to maximise sound quality by anchoring the unit down and reducing vibration.

Charge time is reasonably swift at around four hours depending on your charger.

Bluetooth is easy to detect and connect, hold the button down and wait for an appearance on your device screen. Thereafter it auto connects super quick.

Most importantly the sound. It’s fantastic. The size ratio of this unit vs output is incredible. Even at max volume there is no distortion. The bass is punchy, no its not like being in a disco, but you can dance in your car, your living room, wherever.

Trebles are rich and the overall sound mix is very very good.

It’s a super pleasing sound and as said I believe the build design really helps with this.

Battery life is as advertised. I can eek out 13 – 14 hours per charge however I have found this dips if you have the volume on max throughout but only to around 11 hours.

    The Could be better –

If I had one grumble, and its very minor, I can not get the FM radio to work. Its not a major issue, I haven’t really invested much time in trying, it just comes across as fuzzy white noise. But that’s OK with me, I bought it as a Bluetooth speaker, not for its radio which is an added bonus.

Additionally I can run this with a Samsung watch controlling the volume no issues at all, I also use it for Bluetooth calls if driving my van.

And I haven’t even tried the SD card port. There is just so much to this little powerhouse.

After a couple of weeks I picked up another I keep in my tool box, at this price or even a fair bit higher its not difficult to justify. Add to that Ankers excellent warranty and customer service this really is a first class speaker.

Buy one, you won’t be dissapointed.

    Five Stars.

Mini in Size, Huge in Sound. So good I bought another!

I had already bought an Anker speaker couple of years ago, and I was well pleased with the quality of sound and its sturdy build. I was looking for a small speaker for my bathroom, and I chose this one above others because of my previous positive experiences. It is really excellent – dead easy to set up and linked straight away to my iPhone. The sound is really impressive for such a small piece of kit. Some moans on this site about the quality of sound need to reflect that for under 20 – this is an absolute bargain. Spend more money if you want fancy Dan stuff . For my particular needs, this is perfect and one of the best value for money buys I have had from Amazon over the years.

OK, you’ve read the other reviews, and they are mostly glowing. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great speaker, and in this price range it’s going to be hard to beat… BUT.

There are a few things which let this down. If they were fixed, there would not be any point in anyone else making a speaker at this price point, or even a little higher.

First, we have the “on volume”. This is steadfastly set at about 75%. If you are in your shed, switch it on, connect bluetooth to your phone, boom away you go. Now you are listening to your music at 75% volume, and all is great. Doing something quiet? Ha – good luck here – switch it on and 75% volume – Boom – if you want it or not…

OK, how about we turn it on, and then turn it down before playing? Nice try – if you turned it down on your phone – this little beast will then override the volume, and set it to 75%! Boom.

There are ways around this, but it is just awkward. Also, I had a 20 car stereo in the 1980’s, which could remember how loud it was when it was turned off, and then resume at that volume – why can this little fellow not do the same.

I have not used the built in radio at all – so no comment there.

The charging port is micro USB. This should be updated to USB-C.

The button placement is also all about style, and not about function. The main volume up/down buttons are on the front (judging by the logo orientation). This puts the other buttons / switches on the back. I’d like function to take precedence over looks – and have all of the things to press visible at the same time.

The micro SD Card however I have used. It is a great feature, as you do not even need to use your phone’s battery to get the music. It does however forget where it is within an mp3, so if you are listening to a long story, or album level mp3, starting at the beginning every time is awful.

I must also commend the ruggedness of this too. I have had it drop off a 6 foot high shelf, onto a concrete floor, and survive. It has been knocked off my 39″ bench a couple of times (dents in top to prove it). I have also had it fall from a pocket and roll under the car, at least twice. It is barely showing the signs of the hard life I have given it.

This gets daily use from me. I use this at least once a day, often more than that. Usually music from my phone, sometimes mp3’s from the micro SD. It has lasted really well, and I would not hesitate in buying it again if needed.

Literally the only reason for the non-5-star review is the lack of memory. If it could remember the last volume, and how far it had got through playing an mp3, we would be there.

Great, with a couple of small annoying features

Think Echo dot! This little speaker is solid and weighty, very well made and outstanding in so many ways. I was a little skeptical but took the plunge on it, and am totally delighted. The sound is very similar to the echo dot, feels the same solid build, bluetooth is a dream, and battery life super. I have been using connected to my iPhone in the garden and it has improved my listening pleasure immeasurably. Highly recommended.

Update – 8 months or so use. No problems. Use outside and indoors – still connects to my iPhone easily, and battery life is still really good. Bargain!

This really is a great little speaker. This is the Mk1 and is still available alongside the mk3,no idea what happeded to the mk2?
Anyway great little speaker, sound quality is very good and unit has decent weight to keep it in place with the bass.
The mk1 one has bluetooth / Sdcard / jack input but is NOT water proof like the mk3.
In my opinion if water proofing is not an issue then this by far the best version to have.
It feels so well made and as said earlier sound quality is right where it needs to be for this type of unit. The buttons are very simple but feel great and pleasure to use. Battery life is fabulous and the fact i can throw a SD Card in it or just bluetooth with phone is great.

The performance of this speaker is excellent, with an absolutely brilliant sound for such a small size, great battery life and superb build quality. No quibbles there – but I do have a couple of small niggles.

    1. I bought the gold coloured speaker, happy to pay an extra 1 over the black model for its looks. However, while the gold of the main casing is very attractive, the plastic base and volume/play/pause switch is not the near-matching gold colour shown on the website page, but a drab pinky-beige, rather reminiscent of the colour of waterproof sticking plasters. In my opinion, this rather detracts from the overall appearance.

    2. To my mind, the aforementioned switch is counter-intuitive; I would have expected a short click to skip to the next or previous track and a long press to increase or reduce the volume. Certainly this is the convention I have found on other similar devices, and this just seems logical somehow – a discrete press for a discrete step, and a continuous press for a continuous change.

All that said, this is still an excellent little speaker, and those niggles were not in any way major enough to make me think about returning it.

Bought for a funeral service. Heard perfectly across a socially distanced cemetery. If you have more than one device paired, make sure you switch all bluetooth off the other devices because it wont connect to the one you ask it to connect with, it struggles. Otherwise its fab and is used for louder volume on the tablet for movie nights which is an unexpected bonus.

I got this speaker for remote calls as a substitute for the tinny sounding PC speakers, and I wanted more volume too. I’ve found it’s much more than I expected – for it’s size the sound quality is great for music, it also has a microphone (which I hadn’t picked up on when I ordered it), and it connects with Bluetooth to my laptop & my phone with no problems. I was a little worried about Bluetooth lag when using it with Zoom, but there isn’t any. I’ve also used a wired connection which works well too. Build quality is good too. I’m extremely pleased with this purchase.

Amazing little speaker. Very impressed with the sound quality and battery life.
As it is so tiny it is super portable and takes up no space at all. I purchased a little carrier for it, so now I have the charging cable in the bottom with the speaker placed on top and everything is good to go.
Bluetooth is fast and I’m just so impressed with it.
    Highly recommend.

I LOVE this speaker. I was given one as a present last year and liked it so much I decided to buy another. The sound quality is excellent across the range. My husband prefers classical music whereas I am more interested in “pop” and spoken word. The speaker easily copes with all genres and the sound is never distorted or disappointing, but always clear.
The first one I used predominantly in the downstairs rooms and the conservatory and garden. It was perfect in any setting. I was able to control it from the speaker itself or my mobile or Apple Watch. The Bluetooth connectivity is excellent as is the setting up of the device. It takes no time at all.
I have never run out of battery life since owning it. I top it up occasionally but the battery life is very impressive and it charges quickly.
I now have the second speaker upstairs and again the sound quality is brilliant in any of the rooms, including the bathroom.
I would not hesitate to recommend this product, it deserves 10 stars!!

In keeping with what other people are saying, how can something so small be so capable? Intergalactic tech indeed! It’s also beautiful. I may start a collection, as the whole attitude of the makers is so able and friendly.

The bass is very strong for something no bigger than an apple and the detail amazing. Several decades ago, Dad had a NAD 3020 amp playing through AR speakers. If ultimate power was everything, even at enough volume to hurt your ears, the 3020 stayed as free of distortion as this little guy, but that’s the only way I remember it being better.

The Sound Core mini will live in a big, open plan living area, the colour chosen to blend with the decor. When folk are able to come round again, I’ll put on Love Over Gold by Dire Straits and invite everyone to find the source of the terrific music, because it’s that good for the money.

After reading many reviews I decided to purchase. All round this seemed to represent value for money for many reasons. What you get:

Unbelievably big sounds from a very small speaker.
Well built. Mine bounced off a window sill onto a concrete floor, works perfectly and just a few scratches.
Clear sound, brilliant for podcasts and sports commentaries.
Big Bluetooth range. Connects to a phone 50 feet or so away.
Updated after 4 mths use. Continues to work beautifully. I have purchased a larger soundcore speaker but find I return to the soundcore mini as the volume can be turned up to get the best performance. Same turn up on the larger speaker is just too loud.
Further update. Speaker refuses to charge, seem to have seen that with others who have reviewed. Got in touch with Anker who were very helpful. Asked for serial number and invoice details. I was asked to return the speaker with proof of posting and received a refund shortly afterwards. Anker advised that the speaker would be replaced in 7-10 days. It arrived in 2 days. Great service, cannot recommend highly enough.

I’ve been an Anker customer for years, more so for their cables, but the reviews aren’t wrong on here about the speaker. I’m surprised at the depth of sound with this small portable speaker. I mainly use it when in the kitchen or bathroom, but plays all types of music well. No tinny sounds, high trebles or deep basses, but an good all rounder. Well worth the money and you can trust the brand.

I bought this speaker based on reviews only, I was looking for something small for my bedroom while I work from home as my desk is set up there and so far I’m very impressed.

The speaker is a lot smaller than i was expecting it to be but it kicks out some serious sound. The quality is crystal clear, and although it could do with a teeny bit more bass it’s not tinny or flat sounding. I’ve played various styles of music on it today ranging from film scores, dance music and rock music and it’s handled the different styles perfectly.

Connecting to my phone took about two seconds using Bluetooth and didn’t lose connection at all over the day.

    Well recommended!

As so many other reviewers have already said, this little baby is way more powerful than I imagined or than seems possible for its size and price. I am really really pleased with my purchase and now think I might get a second one to pair with it. Amazing value for money. Amazing sound for its size. Definitely recommend this product. 4 stars for connectivity and battery life. They are good but not 100% perfect. I have had to charge it twice a day when using it a lot. But really, it still deserves 4 stars as given the constant use, that isn’t so bad. And the bluetooth is almost perfect but occasionally I have to faff around to get my ipad to acknowledge it and switch from the internal speaker to the Anker. But apart from those really tiny little irritations, I am really impressed and recommend you try it without hesitation. Surprised, impressed and delighted would be my description of how I felt when I got it, and tried it for the first time. And after using it for a couple of weeks, I am still just as pleased with it. Incredible price and size for the sound you get from i

A little speaker you can take with you wherever you go. The sound quality is not tip-top, but as it’s only tiny what can you expect. It certainly sounds better than other larger and more expensive speakers I’ve seen, and it’s definitely better than in-built iPhone speakers. The feel is nice, I like the metal shell, and the connection is easy. I’ve had a few Anker products and they have all been very good. I tried to use this in the car but it sounded tinny, so that’s basically the limit of what you can do with it, but for pumping out sounds in a room while you’re cooking dinner, it does just fine.

I received this yesterday and can only echo what others have put, it is an amazingly full sound for such a tiny speaker — if I was blindfolded and played this and my (much more expensive Sonos) I would not be able to tell the difference. The build quality is also very good, it feels solid and heavy, the controls don’t feel cheap. I am not bothered about the FM radio but it is also good for voice calls and zoom with a good microphone I don’t need to lean in to.

Sits beside desktop PC and permanently plugged in to usb, so no worries about battery running out.

I ordered a silver version, as I am fed up with black, and it looks smart on my desk. It was well packed and arrived on time. It is solidly built, the sound is good and it is easy to operate. My last mini speaker had controls on the top, with this unit they are on the side and I do find having to lift the speaker to turn it on and off a bit of a fiddle. I ordered a dedicated zip pouch for the speaker and it is very well made, not in the least shoddy, but t is a snug fit. for the speaker. I wish a compartment had been added to store the lead in, but I knew there wasn’t one when I ordered it.

I bought this speaker after reading its reviews complimenting its incredible sound quality for its size and I, along with the others, am very impressed.

It has a surprising max volume and satisfyingly deep bass, whilst being half the size of a can of Coke? Amazing.

On top of this it has a very nice weighty feel and connects instantly to your device once set up. The battery can actually last longer than the stated 15 hours if you have it fairly quite for listening to podcasts as I usually do and it is clearly very well made.

    Buy one, they are fantastic.

This couldn’t be easier to use – when you switch it on a blue light flashes to show it’s ready for a bluetooth connection. Even a 10-year old Mac connected to it – so it’s going to work with pretty much anything. It also has a port for a small memory stick or a mini-jack input – plus micro-usb for charging.

The sound quality is really good with a nice bass and so far, excellent battery life. I like the way it powers itself off – if you forget it’s on and stop sending any signals to it. Nice intelligent design for those of us who get distracted and forget.

This speaker exceeded my expectations by far! It’s small in size but mighty in sound. I was skeptical when buying but purchased it based on the good reviews and hoped for the best (it was a present for my partner). But I’m really pleased with it, it has a slightly sticky bottom so it doesn’t fall over and roll all over the place. Connects very quickly with great ease to your phone via Bluetooth. Wouldn’t definitely recommend.

Over all this thing is amazing. Well made, an amazing sound and the micro-SD card function turns it into a stand-alone little hi-fi, which is what I mainly use it for. Couple of issues: The Bluetooth function is a bit hit and miss. Initially it connected to my phone without problems, now it doesn’t anymore. Another thing I noticed was that when using micro-SD cards, the sound initially kept cutting out a. Turns out that this was due to corrupt MP3 files, not the speaker. Re-formatting and putting the music back on solved this. so far I have not had any other issues with it. Not perfect but a great little device, and the price is pretty reasonable for what you get. Superb little speaker. Switched this on and was very and pleasantly surprised. I paid 23 for this and it’s now been reduced slightly but I think it’s still worth it. Couldn’t use it for very big spaces but in my kitchen and living room is perfect and will use for trips and visits to the park ect. The base is quite good but not at a high volume but this is minor in comparison to what you get in this little package. Can’t comment on battery because I’ve just had it for a day.

The Bluetooth connects fine with my phone but when connected to my win10 laptop the microphone just doesn’t work. Google showed this was a common problem. I contacted support but they couldn’t offer much help and said ” the mic actually is not designed to be a main feature of the speaker, but just a side benefit”. For something that is advertised as a hands free device that’s a poor response. Even when the Mic works with my phone it is very directional and you have to speak directly at it from not very far away ai as a handfree device you can’t really just speak in It’s general vicinity.

    Fantastic for the price!

Easy to set up bluetooth connectivity with phone / laptop and the connectivity doesnt drop.

I think my expectations were a bit to high, after reading the reviews….I wish the volume was just that bit louder. But, again, for the price, its fine for a family meal. It wouldn’t work for a party as the only speaker.

    Charge/battery life is great.

Great range and battery live. Very robust, one of the two speakers was dropped (by kids), while active and lost in the garden, it rained for 2 weeks, covered in mud, then snowed. After a month I kept hearing a beep in the garden, only to find it was alerting to battery about to run out. Anyway let it dryout, cleaned it up and works great even with a dent. At 6w you can always find a better speaker, but for it’s size, battery and robustness you will not find much better.

This is by far the most sound portable speaker i’ve had yet. After pairing it on my phone for the first time it automatically connects to bluetooth when I turn it on. In terms of sound quality, this little speaker offers a superb balance of high end and low end sound, making music sound INCREDIBLE. And the BASS on this thing! Set it down on a wooden surface and the Anker goes to town on the low end of any song.

It’s compact and feels relatively durable. The matte finish on the speaker gives it a smooth aesthetic too. Can’t praise this speaker enough, just get one.

I love this little speaker – it’s the second one I’ve bought – for home and travel. The sound is gorgeous and it’s very easy to connect to our iPad.
The only issue I have had is that it developed an intermittent interference (not sure how to describe this), so I contacted Anker support online. Cherry emailed me back very promptly with steps to take to try to rectify the issue, and when they (disconnecting, reconnecting, and trying device away from range of home wifi) she immediately agreed to replace the speaker under the warranty process.

As reported by others, the device gives an impressively rich, warm sound for its size. It looks smart and the battery life is decent. It automatically powers down when not in use so it doesn’t matter if I forget to turn it off.

My only complaint, and it’s possible that this is not really the fault of the speaker, is that every time I reconnect it to my laptop the volume controls have been reset, which causes it to either be initially muted or playing too loud for my delicate ears. It’s easy to address this with the on-device volume controls, so the problem is easily addressed, but it then recurs on the next usage. There are online guides for addressing this issue for Bluetooth speakers generally, but I haven’t had much joy. Still, since I know to expect it, it isn’t really causing any problems.

Other than that, it’s been great. My daughter was evidently impressed and so we also bought one for her birthday. Would recommend.

I’m pretty pleased with this speaker for the price and size – it certainly packs more volume than you would guess. I knew from the reviews it would be small, but I didn’t guess it would easily fit into the palm of my hand! It’s got a good amount of bass, and the sound quality is nice and clear. I do find that my phone is a little fussy in connecting to it via Bluetooth (it pretty much always requires me to turn off and then turn on the speaker to get it to connect without any messaging about mysterious ‘problems’. That’s hardly a dealbreaker though, so I’m happy with my choice.

The other speakers purchased were cheaper but it pays to purchase from a recognised brand. Inside the box there is a booklet containing user instructions which are easy to understand. The base is powerful unlike other speakers the tone of the music is clear. Setup was so easy. I did like the idea of having a microSD slot allows me to listen to music without allows connecting the Bluetooth via phone or TV. Speaker is small so easily place in your coat pocket. I use it with my computer and phone, and it’s perfectly portable for travelling and keeping in your bag for whenever you need it.
Only thing that is a bit annoying is it only connects via bluetooth to the last thing it was paired with if that other device is still on and in range, and you can’t disconnect it from the device which is a pain if you used it with someone else’s phone! It was so easy to connect just turn it on and look for it in the Bluetooth device’s on your phone or whatever device you’re using to play music or any audio for that matter. It’s little but very loud and the sound quality is amazing and is really powerful on the bass so I recommend tweaking the equalizer settings lowering the bass frequencies otherwise it’ll be dancing it’s way off the bench when turned up loud. This was *precisely* the product I was looking for so glad the reviews were honest and that the speaker caught my eye on Prime Day. Working from home all day in a makeshift home office, I wanted to listen to media and music – but not on a tinny speaker. For the size and price the Anker SoundCore mini is remarkable – – I have turned it up super loud and there’s no noticeable distortion or crackling. If I think about the stereo separates I had 20 years ago that cost a bomb, and now this little speaker can reproduce a similar clarity and volume. Mindblowing. I am having a problem connecting to AUX though. The laptop just doesn’t want to recognise it, so I’m forced to use Bluetooth. I have troubleshooted but to no avail, hence a star off.

I ordered this due to the reviews. I was surprised at how small it was but wow what an amazing sound from such a small item. I have this in my kitchen so I can listen to music while cooking as my Bose speaker is far too large. It fills the whole room and if I turn the volume up the sound is not distorted. I can hear it clearly all around the house. I can’t believe the price for this item, its definately worth it. It has a good base sound and bluetooth connection is easy. It says it has a radio but I cannot get it to pick up any channels although I can hear it crackling as if its trying to connect to one. I can listen to the radio if I play it via the app on my phone so not a massive issue and it certainly wouldn’t put me off buying another speaker if needed. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.

I have now owned this speaker for over 2 years; using it continuously both in the bedroom, outside doing the garden or doing DIY, listening to the radio in the bath etc etc and now feel compelled to write a review to say how amazing it is. Fantastic sound and easy connectivity. Wonderfully robust – I have dropped it on a hard floor countless times and you would never know. I have a long playlist on an SD card permanently inserted in the speaker for times when I can’t be bothered to find stuff on my phone. I wish all products were as ridiculously good value and great quality as this has proved to be. (Knocks my Sonos speaker out of the water due to the above and the fact that it lasts ages on one charge without having to be plugged in and doesn’t require constant software updates!)

I have been very impressed with the Anker – I have loaded music onto the micro SD card I bought to go with it, and it plays through all the tracks clearly and with reasonable bass (very good given it’s small size). I had hoped that I could manage the content on the SD card via the USB cable, but that doesn’t seem to work, it just seems to be a way of charging it. Would also be good to be able to control what it plays form the SD card, perhaps via a Bluetooth connected phone. At the moment I can just skip onto the next track, and when you have hunderds on the SD card that is a bit limiting. But for the price, absolutely not complaining (just suggesting improvements!)

This is a solid good portable speaker, no question about that. However, it was designed to be used only as a “portable” speaker. It will turn off itself after something like 15 min if there is no audio signal sent to the speaker, even if you plug in the charging cable. To turn it back on, you will then have to flip the physical switch to the “off” position and then the “on” position, and wait for the Bluetooth connection to reestablish. I understand that this whole mechanism was designed to save battery power, but I hope there was a way to keep it always on.

I am very happy with the quality of this speaker considering it’s size and price. It’s a lovely colour too and looks good in my daughters bedroom , delivery good sound without dominating a book shelf as it’s so compact . I am actually going to buy another one for my classroom this time .
My only slightly negative feedback is that the rubber part of the bottom became sticky and tacky quite quickly so you do need to be a little careful what services you put it on. Otherwise an excellent little purchase .

Absolutely wonderful speaker. It packs a real punch, even at lower volumes. I like when you can feel the thud of the music across the surface of the tabletop, for example, it’s definitely a bassy speaker, and very nice with the vocals and melody of a song, too.

I think it puts everything out really effectively. I’m not a music expert, but I am an avid listener of genres such as metal, rock, EDM, jazz, and classical, and so far, my music sounds beautiful on this speaker.

It has a nice weighty feel in the hand, and feels very solid. You can tell that it was made with quality and care.

Would definitely recommend. So much better than the speakers I’ve owned before, and I used to have a pretty big one, so that’s saying something, I would say!

I ordered this one after my Sony died. I travel for work and I like my own Bluetooth I can take with me: small and compact with decent enough sound. It needs to be small to fit my suitcase or my handbag.
This one seems perfect. Its design is really lovely, it looks much better than the picture.
Best part: it pairs amazingly well. I have a few Bluetooth devices at home, and this one is to go with my prehistoric iPhone 5. It paired within couple seconds, really impressive.
Sound: I’m no specialist, and I don’t really care this much for this one. But it’s good for such a small this. Loud enough at maximum with just enough basses.
Also I dropped it right after I unpacked it. And no scratch, nothing. Great little thing.

Tiny and super easy to connec

With modern laptops becoming smaller and lighter, there are always going to be compromises, and quality speakers are becoming more and more scarce.

About to start a University course, which site to COVID is initially online, I needed a quality speaker to enhance the audio of my Samsung Flex Notebook. This little diamond connected quickly, and if used across different devices, it remembers the last one it was connected to, connects seamlessly and pumps out crystal clear audio.

Podcasts and Webcasts are clear and I stinky recommend this speaker.

I bought this very recently as had a lot of socially distanced picnics coming up for my birthday. I charged it the night before only to realise 30 mins before leaving the house that I hadn’t turned the plug on. Oops. So it was only charged for 30 mins but last 5 hours in the park! I was impressed!

I also used it outside for my class end of term picnic/ distanced dance party. It was just loud enough for them to hear the music (a bit louder would have been perfect but for the price and size of it this speaker did well!).

It’s quicker to start up than my google mini so I use it around my flat too! Great purchase!

I just can’t get it how this tiny speaker produces so powerful and exceptional sound. I can’t stress enough how hard is to find a decent quality Bluetooth speaker.. In most cases we end up disappointed and frustrated. I was really reluctant to purchase another speaker, as I had a couple sitting around and not utilized.

Even after reading all the positive comments the result far exceeds my expectations. This is a Hi-Fidelity devise with a fraction of the cost we would normally pay.

I purchased this speaker as a replacement for my ageing JBL Flip and I am thoroughly impressed. The compact size means that the speaker takes up no space at all in my bag and is easily carried on a daily basis. I take this with me on location shoots to provide a little music during the day. These shoots can last anything up to 12 hours depending on location and what I am covering and this speaker handles it great. I can finish several playlists throughout the day and still have battery remaining. I average about 9-10 hours battery life at the moment with volume set about halfway and having the speaker charge through USB is great for re-charging on the train home or in the car. The only issue I have with the speaker is the lack of USB-C so I have to carry around a dedicated cable just for this, other than that this is a solid speaker and well worth the price.

Having had purchased Soundcore products before, I was searching for a small speaker that I could use around the home. This one came up and having read other reviews it was time to give it a go. I am very impressed! Given the tiny, ultra-portable size, this speaker and the 5W driver really packs a punch in such a small shell. Immediately after unboxing you can feel the premium quality build, nice clicky buttons and the little weight that it has to keep it firmly on any surface. Connectivity was super easy, nice long rang with virtually no dropouts or interference whatsoever despite my phone being upstairs! LED light on the front and side is great to see the status of the speaker along with playback controls which offer good feedback. Charging is quick using any micro-usb cable as well. Notice that the speaker points upwards giving a nice 360 sound as opposed to being directional (which is okay if you’re siting in one place) but this sounds good all around a room no matter where you place it.

Onto sound quality, and this speaker delivers a nice, balance sound considering the small size. The bass is there, but also mids and highs are evenly balanced, but don’t expect anything overpowering and because of the smaller driver don’t expect there to be a wide soundstage. For this price point, this outdoes any small speakers which I’ve demo’d previously. There is a good range of features too such as the FM Radio, microSD card slot and the AUX in so you can listen to audio in various ways. Battery life is excellent, only charged it once and after a few hours I am now at 90%. This speaker is truly everything you expect from Anker build and solid battery technology. I have mine turned on and playing ambient music whilst I work from home and it is a pleasure to listen to, not to mention that it can get really LOUD too! Even on low volumes its perfect and allows me to listen without disturbing any other people nearby too.

I’ve connected the speaker to various devices (Android, iOS, MacBook) and all have worked flawlessly, the speaker reports back the battery percentage and the light on the device can indicate when to charge. Look forward to using it for calls with the built-in microphone but so far very impressed. This speaker doesn’t have the bulk of larger speakers but it also has a nice, sexy shape that isn’t present on other plasticky, tinny speakers. I was comparing this to other speakers at the time of deciding such as the Juice Jumbo, JBL GO 2, JAM Classic/Hang Up, Sony, Bush, Betron etc and others that fit the under 20 price tag and this speaker is worth every penny and trumps those hockey puck units easily!

Perfectly adequate for a small gathering, even better for personal listening wherever you want! And definitely better than using phone speakers! You won’t find a small speaker with this many features, with this reliability and build quality!

    Recommended.

Quite simply fantastic sound & quality for this price bracket!!

I had been dithering about getting one of these for ages and finally bit the bullet based on the Amazon reviews. Oh I am soooo very, very glad I did!!

What a simply amazing bit of kit! It produces a fabulous sound for such a small size. This little speaker seriously punches well above its weight.

It was packaged really well and the moment I picked it up out of the box I knew this was a serious bit of kit. Wonderfully compact, somehow weighty without being heavy…go figure! I accidentally put the sound up a bit high and likely nearly blew my neighbour off of his sofa, such was the audio punch this mighty little speaker delivered!

It’s also incredibly easy to use. Turn it on, scroll through your phones blue tooth devices list, locate it and you’re good to go. I got mine running my music from my Amazon Prime account in under a minute. It’s utterly fabulous!

All this for not a lot of money. I know people who spend more on coffee a week than this mighty little speaker cost me (pre Covid now they probably spend more on facemasks and hand sanitiser a week).

I have not used the radio function nor have I needed to recharge it yet so I can’t comment on these functions at the moment.

I have been playing different kind of music, classical and pop and rock on this little speaker. It handles both equally well. On that basis I think it would meet the needs of all but the extremely particular listener. It has both good bass and treble and is well balanced between the two. The sound is very pure with no hiss, buzz or interference.

    Impressive.

Buy one . You’ll be so very glad you did!!!

So far it’s quite a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t expecting too much for the price, but it seems to be equal quality to my old JVC speaker that died 2 days ago and was 3x more. Bluetooth had some issues at the beginning connecting to the laptop, but after pairing it withmy phone, the laptop could find it too. I haven’t charged it since delivered and it’s been on for about 6 hours now, with the charge it arrived. It is obviously not a high quality sound system, but I only need it for music and films and it does the job just great. Volume is decent, even when turned up. Very easy to operate, I hate it when something has 20 buttons and 10 functions I’d never use – this doesn’t. I really like that it has an SD card slot so music can be played directly without any other devices. I haven’t tried the radio, but I don’t need it. For the price it’s a decent little speaker, looks really good, and I live that it’s small. Let’s see how long it lasts.

So far only connected to my Fone (just delivered) & I’m totally wowed at the musical sound quality. No distortion at high volume, clear vocals & a reasonable baseline. Took it outside but bluetooth dropped out around 20ft, took it around house & no probs. Slight hiss which is drowned when music playing but not enough to any way put me off the device. Highly recommend this portable device to anyone.

I don’t write reviews of a product that I have had for less than 24 hrs, however this little speaker is just so amazing that I had to!!
It’s small, compact and very lightweight. The quality of the sound is great-clear without any noise distortion at high volume and crisp and clear at lowest volume setting.
It was incredibly easy to pair with my iPhone and iPad (less than 30 seconds and I was listening to a podcast).
If you were on the fence about buying this product I can assure you that for the money I doubt you could find better (I bought at the bargain price of 19).
Excellent product and would highly recommend!

This is a peach of a speaker and I’m genuinely over the moon with it. I have bought Anker in the past and never once been disappointed. This is a step up in my opinion and has an apple quality about it. The sound is seriously excellent for such a small speaker. I bought it because my MacBook Pro’s sound is not great – I think there’s a fault to be honest. I have watched a few movies, the grand tour, and loads of Spotify and I cannot fault it. The battery sales to last ages although I haven’t tested that or timed it just seems long. It has lovely bluetooth features and connected to my iPhone really quickly. This is a no brainer for me to recommend and I would happily buy again.

I originally bought this to go with a new build PC and the want to remove uneccessary cables. I intended to use infrequently, when watching YouTube or a desktop video game. Unfortunately, the other half pinched it off me to play when on the move in the house or relaxing on the sofa.

Bluetooth is simple and the volume is respectable given the size and price. Battery life is impressive and it shuts itself off when not in use which prevents from having to charge. Charging is USB, so really easy. No complaints with sound quality either.

I bought another as I found myself without a PC speaker and does the job there really well too.

A really good bit of kit at a very good price.
