Bought this to replace a 10yr old laptop I was using for backing up dvd/cd and streaming MotoGp :). Does the job well, build quality is in line with the price (199). Storage is easily expanded, I did this with a 1tb slim hdd from toshiba, only draw back is the machine sees this as a usb disk. Maybe I need to set it up differently. Anyway, seems a good buy for what is occasional use, and would recommend. Easy to set up and is Windows 10, not Windows 11 compatible, which is OK for me as I don’t like Win 11.

It’s only day 2 so still getting used to it. So far. I like the screen size, the upload speeds. It is light and has little feet to slightly lift it off my laptop tray. I got a little confused as the Fushion sign was upside down so it took me a while to get it open! Other reviews have said about the charger not working. Mine was fine. I don’t like the fact that it dosent have a keypad on the right but I’m guessing this is what makes it lighter so I can always add a separate keyboard later if this is an issue. It struggled to stay connected to the internet so I re-booted it and it was fine. I would like longer on the Microsoft Office trial (it gave me 7 days). Overall I like it, at 249.99 a good buy.

I bought this laptop to predominantly use it for my studies and watching movies and TV series etc. It has been perfect so far for what I need it for. The screen quality is great and I noticed a massive difference between this and my previous computer.

Only negatives I have found so far are the battery not being too good when not plugged in and sometimes typing can be a little frustrating when I knock other keys, but that may just be me 🙂

All in all, happy with the purchase. Definitely recommended if you are on a budget! 🙂

Lightweight laptop with all the features that I require at a great price. For some unknown reason the screen began to flicker after 6 weeks but the Fusion5 customer service team responded immediately to my email and and provided a quick fix.

Functions perfectly well as my business laptop and is an excellent ,low cost , device.
Thin & lIght and easy to transport on the move. Looks very good with a nice sharp screen.
Storage, as supplied is limited but add-on storage by SD card or HDD drive is no problem.
Delivery was efficient and customer service excellent. I would buy again.

This is a really good general office / net browser system it really is not made to play games but it runs multi apps no problem.
I have had it re-encoding a media file whilst running office 2019 publisher and referencing the net without any lag or slowing its a budget system that does not seem to know i

The Fusion Laptop is mid range and cost effective. I found the laptop brilliant for what I needed. Emailing, downloading information, and work related Windows features. It’s easy to use, it’s memory is a good size and speed very good. It’s a excellent laptop that should be priced much higher for its capability. What a fantastic computer. I brought this for my daughter to use for school homework.
She is getting on very well indeed. I set it all up for her and it was that easy she could have done it herself.
It works extreamly fast and the screen is very clear.
No problems as yet so very pleased.

I’ve got this laptop for my 12 years old daughter’s birthday present. She wanted a laptop for gaming as she’s a big fun of Roblox and Minecraft. When I did online research for a laptop for gaming, all laptops recommended in Tech sites were not affordable for us, but I’ve found this product in Amazon. After reading all good reviews, I’ve decided to go for this one, and so far it hasn’t disappointed her! Considering what we’ve paid for, this is a bargain! It has got a big screen and perfectly functioned OK, and she’s enjoying her games downloaded! Only one negative is apparently it occasionally becomes laggy but it doesn’t bother her so much. Overall we are happy with this product and this is a great budgeted laptop.

Bought primarily to use for recording electric guitar and bass, using the Presonus One 3 Prime software through a DUI.

So far it’s working well for this and the option to add extra memory means that there’s plenty of space available for all the software and recordings, with no noticeable lagging in performance.
The screen definition is excellent, making long sessions easy on the eyes.

I haven’t used it for gaming, so can’t comment on that, but browsing, word processing, image editing etc are quick and easy.

Slim modern designed laptop, runs smoothly for basic usage, Web searching and watching films. The processor is not very powerful, but what do you expect for the price. As a budget laptop for use in education, home basics, and throwing in your bag for holidays struggled to find better.

There are a couple of things it does, a dislike is that whilst typing a sentence, the text you’ve just typed often jumps to a previous part of your text….one has to ‘cut and move’ to get it back….
Also – whilst in the facebook or email pages – it will automatically change the display size to a smaller or larger face than your preference.

My previous laptop died suddenly, I ordered this one and it turned up the next day, which was great. Most importantly, though, I could insert my old 1Tb hard drive straight into this one. As it was already formatted, I just slotted it in and booted up. It appeared as a D: drive immediately.
The laptop is compact and lightweight and seems fine for what I need from it. I’ve used headphones for sound as the speakers are a bit quiet, and I have university access to Office 365, which is handy, as it didn’t come with it.
Overall, for my purposes, it’s a great little machine with a bright screen.

Purchased this laptop for my wife who wanted something to replace another make which went pear shaped! She didn’t need anything too powerful and using ‘the cloud’ would mean the storage would not be an issue either.

The case is a great silver colour and for the price is a very effective Laptop. The case is strong, yet light and it will stand up to household use pretty well, I think.. The specs give at purchase are all there – and more – and the operation is smooth.

For the price, the 14.1″ HD screen is very clear indeed, and the keyboard is easy to use with touch activation. There are only two USB ports, but heyho, what more do you expect for the price!

Overall a very effective and easy laptop – Lives up to ‘Amazon Choice’ recommendation.

Fusion5 14.1 full HD Windows 10 great for the price, stylish and easy to use. Disk capacity can easily be upgraded at a reasonable price. I have found it easy to use and fits nicely on my lap, it is great for linking to my other devices, having my mobile apps linked to this PC is Great.

Bought this laptop mainly because it had a port for a HDMI lead which I wanted as I wanted to plug it into a TV to watch I follow football on TV. It works perfectly for this and. Lot of laptops don’t have a HDMI port. Got it working after charging it up without any problems, simple process. Not had any problems getting a signal from my router unlike some people and my broadband signal isn’t great. It works fine for Internet surfing and e mail. Don’t do gaming or anything that requires a large memory so it’s fine for me.

The one problem with this laptop as others have mentioned is the sound quality, it really is very poor. I tried playing a you tube music video on it and the sound would not go very loud and was tinny like a cheap radio. If you want good sound don’t buy this laptop. Other than the sound it’s good for the price and I have no other problems with it.

Got it for my daughter for her 11th b’day .. she loves it . It serves the purpose. Very sleek and light weight. She uses it for coding. Loves it. I think the volume should have been a bit more louder. its not loud enough if you put it on speaker. Thats in comparison with a HP Laptop we have. But definitely would recomend it for the price you pay.

(1 yr Update below)The laptop, is sleek and light, I love its looks. I had a technical issue with the wifi, that left me thinking I will have to return the computer. Got in touch with Amazon tech help, the assistant was great, he sent me a direct link to the manufacturers, saying if the matter wasn’t resolved by Monday ( I received it on Friday) then I could return the laptop if I wanted. I really lov3 th3 gadget and did not want to return it until I had tried everything to make it work.
Monday morning I had an email from the manufacturers with an apology and a link to download the right drivers. The matter is now resolved.
It would, without a doubt, have been fantastic if the laptop had work right away, but the after sales support was brilliant.
It will be 1yr this October, and the laptop has stopped working. The trouble shooter says device drivers missing, the camera does not work and the microphone echoes and i can hear my own voice through my head set, abd now it cant connect to the wifi….again.

I bought this laptop as a replacement for my old windows 7. First consideration was price and this laptop came out with flying colours. It is very light and compact with a good sized screen. I found it difficult to use at first because screen kept jumping about with the text getting smaller. However, I bought a mouse and that solved the problem. I’m still getting used to documents, pictures etc. But I’m not that computer literate! The one thing that I can’t work out is the camera is forward facing and I cannot get it to turn around to face out. All in all, the laptop is a good all rounder, good battery life. it fulfils all my needs. I’m pleased with it and glad I bought i

When you are paying 200 or less for a full Windows laptop, it’s never going to match the performance of one 2 or 3 times the price. So what you get with this product is impressive.

I have been using it for over a month now. I have had no crashes at all, the battery can easily manage a day for the usual email, word processing etc with some Netflix thrown in, and video calls are clear and smooth. I have also played some older 3D games on it (e.g. Counter Strike:Source) with no issues. I suspect more modern 3D games will struggle.

It is solidly built. No touchscreen, but the 2nd USB port means you don’t have to unplug your mouse to use a USB stick, and the touchpad is far better than other laptops/tablets of a similar price. The extra hard disk slot is also a nice touch, and you might need to consider using it, as you only get 64GB out the box.

My only real gripe, which maybe should be a bit better even at this price is the speaker quality. Using the headphone jack is fine, but playing music or movies through the speakers, I often need to set the volume at 80-90%, compared to 20-30% on other devices. You can hear it but don’t expect to use it as a sound system for a house party.

Overall, if this is your price range, you probably aren’t expecting to do anything too intensive, so you can’t really go wrong if you choose this laptop.

This product is so amazing and very affordable. It came with windows 10 home in s mode for added security especially for students and people with less IT experience. But you have the option to opt out from s mode to normal windows 10 for easier access to download some applications not in app store. It is a very good laptop for now the only thing I don’t appreciate about this laptop is the sound system is not high. You may need to add external speaker to enjoy more sounds.

Looks good from getting out of the box. Very easy to set up. Seconds to load the Internet and Windows. So much easier than the HP model I have. Keyboard is one of the best I have used. At a writer, that is the most important part of any computer to me. The keys sound just right and haven’t yet missed a letter, let alone a word. Any cons? Maybe another USB port to add to the two fitted would have been good. But, no, it is what I need to write every day. Very light as well. Highly recommended.

As a staunch supporter of Buy British I’m over the moon at finding a UK made laptop with all the functions and capabilities I want.
A full HD 14.1 Windows 10 laptop at an amazing 200!
Charged for seven hours as instructed before first switch on, Connected to wi-fi, updated windows, installed Google browser and inserted 64gb card from my now defunct old laptop to access my photos and documents I need and we’re off.
Can’t believe this little beauty is replacing a slightly smaller screened laptop that cost almost twice as much.
Registered for warranty online during Bank Holiday weekend and got email confirmation next working day.
Slim, light, fast, great screen and well engineered from a UK company that pushes a the right buttons

This Fusion5 PC arrived promptly and was ready to go out of the box after a simple set up procedure. Does everything a Windows10 machine should do but would recommend purchasing additional storage if you are going to store images, music etc.
Also in the set up make sure you upgrade to the full Windows10 Home or there will be difficulty downloading some apps and programs due to Microsoft restrictions to using the App Store.
Good machine does what it says on the tin.

I’m a computer engineer, got this for friends of mine & I was well amazed at how good it is for low price, what’s not clearly stated in information, is it has a bay on underside that you can fit a hard drive into, upto 1TB (highly recommended a SSD) but their is lable on bay directing you to website, but that just trying to sell you SSD, which you can buy from almost any electronics store cheaper (any one can install it) BUT with just changing two entries in the registry, you can make the new installed SSD as the primary drive, that a massive bonus for this laptop, for the price it is very quick, screen is bright & clear, to sum it up, it a great bit of kit for everyday use, but def not for gamers.

I use this laptop for ordinary everyday pleasure/easy Excel spreadsheets etc. As a 74-year-old I am not too comfortable with tech but I have found this easy to use and understand. The reason for 4 stars is that the area around the touchpad is very sensitive and I have to be very careful to avoid getting thumbs near it when typing otherwise it disappears and I have to start over again. That’s a small handicap to overcome though.

The laptop was a Birthday Present for my wife who was a self confessed technophobe but not anymore in fact Ive become a laptop widower lol. I was a bit wary when purchasing the fusion5 because it wasn’t a big high street name but I needn’t have worried the quality of the fusion5 is 1st class from the amazing on screen graphics which are crystal clear my wife is hard of hearing and sometimes struggles to pick up words on the tv but the clarity of the audio she has no problem. Would I recommend the Fusion5 without doubt don’t just take my word for it try it yourself believe me you will not be dissapointed

I bought this laptop mainly for word and excel documents and have to say I have had no problems so far. The screen is clear, the keyboard has a nice feel to it and importantly, as a fast typist, there is no lag between my typing and what shows on the screen.

I have used it for Zoom meetings and, again, had no issues.

The computer itself is light for carrying about, it looks good (and more expensive than it is) and I am really happy with my purchase.

The battery life seems decent, have not had it die on me yet.

I cannot comment on the gaming section, so have not awarded any stars.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this to replace an eight or nine year old Toshiba which is so slow now it is painful! The hard drive was nowhere near full.
Early impressions with the T90B Pro are really good. It was bought after I’d bought a Fusion 5 FWIN tablet to replace a year old HP which just wouldn’t update Windows 10. The tablet is so good that there was little hesitation in buying the T90 which I immediately upgraded with a 1Teenb HDD ( easy to identify and fit the right one) and a 256Gb SD card.
Performance is super fast and the screen is of high quality. Assignment of the hard drive each time you load new programs keeps the 64Gb built in drive clear of everything other than the, huge, Windows 10 software and the shortcuts needed for other programs. The machine accesses these really quickly, displays photos and video in HD, looks very sleek and is lightweight. If you’re looking for a good, basic machine for the internet and normal personal computing this is more than adequate at a great price. I don’t think it would be good for gaming but since I’m a silver surfer, that doesn’t bother me! If, like me, you want to use some of your old programs and videos on disk, just add an external CD/dvd writer (mine cost 24.99 but get a well known one which says on the box it is compatible with Windows 10, plug it into one of the USB ports and you’re good to go.
The keyboard is positive with well defined keys but I also have a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse which works superbly. In fact, as long as you use good brands, all external devices seem to be recognised as plug and play straight away.
I have praise all the way for this machine and for its little brother so far. Time will tell but recommended.

Hard to believe that in our 70’s my wife has never used or owned a computer other than a Kindle Fire.
We bought this so that she could Skype our grandchildren during the lockdown.
Up to date she has found it (with a little coaching) quite easy to use and has now managed to get to grips with the basics of starting up a video chat session with our grandchildren.
All in all a very good purchase and we are pleased with the performance and ease of use.

This was purchased in a bit of a rush at the beginning of the lockdown period to allow my daughter to complete her schoolwork at home. First impressions were very good – a nice looking, well performing laptop – and at a good price point too. The battery life is great (my daughter uses it for hours on end without needing to charge it) and the screen is OK for what she needs. I’d definitely not want to use this for any sort of gaming, but that’s not what we purchased it for so in terms of expectations, it’s great.

Windows S mode is a little limited (and I don’t want to take it out of S mode) but again it’s fine for my daughters requirements. It could do with having a privacy screen across the camera (I know you can buy them really cheaply)

All in all, a nice little laptop at a good price with awesome battery life 🙂

it is so light, it can easly be held in one hand while typing with the other. The slight downside to this is the plastic case, if you droped it, the screen would break, but then if you were to drop any laptop, the screen would break.

The main drawback is the lack of ports. There are only 2 USB ports and due to the thinness, there is no VGA, just a HDMI.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI was pleased to take delivery of my Fusion5 Windows 10 laptop recently; my initial reaction was that I was getting a very good product. Powering up and login via my Microsoft account was straight forward and I was immediately impressed by the screen picture quality and the firmness of the keypad. For those unfamiliar with Windows 10, a handy user’s guide is provided.

My primary purpose for the purchase was Zoom usage for business and social virtual meetings, particularly in Gallery view when there are a large number of attendees. I find that my Kindle Fire HD does not seem to support this feature, nor for that matter does my smartphone. I had a little difficulty in downloading and installing the Zoom application, but having successfully done so, was very pleased with the Fusion5 laptop’s performance in delivering very clear images with none of the jerkiness and poor sound coverage I tended to associate with my old Acer laptop running under Windows 7.

I had no problem logging into my Netflix account and was pleased by the picture quality of my chosen movie. However, the sound quality left a bit to be desired. I resolved this problem by using a good pair of earphones. In a similar vein, the volume of the internal microphone seemed a bit muted; I had one or another people complain that they couldn’t hear me very clearly during Zoom meetings. I believe that I have dealt with this issue by investing in a good quality external USB microphone and adjusting the sound settings on the Fusion5 accordingly.

All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and have no hesitation in recommending it as very good value for money.

Personal biases dictate my comments. I find it very hard to work with light grade keyboards. I detest the pointer jumping to odd places as I type inserting partial words throughout what I have managed to write already. However I have come across these problems before, albeit in other people’s machines and so I accept it as my problem.
I have only had the machine for a few days and done little work with it but the battery life seems very good. I presume this has something to do with not having a hard disk at the moment.
Others have commented on the wireless networking. I have found downloads fast but needed to keep an eye on the wireless signal strength. For that reason I use a USB to cable connector when I am able. Interestingly, this only works in the RHS USB connection, not the LHS despite many tries.
It has a quad atom processor which labours at times. But hey, it’s just a netbook and good at the price.

Since adding that at a yearly subscription cost…. Runs brilliantly. But won’t work well. Withou

Hi , only had this laptop for a week but am impressed by the quality of the screen. Works really well much faster than my previous laptop but then again I’m not doing anything too taxing. Case looks great , plastic but fairly sturdy. My only problem would be with the speakers , very tinny and poor volume but use a Bluetooth speaker anyway so all good. All in all very pleased with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersA great laptop for the price with Windows 10 installed. It boots up quickly and the weight of the laptop makes it good for carrying around easily. The screen is a good size and very clear to look at. The keyboard is well layed-out and feels nice to type on. Perhaps the harddrive is a little small but can be easily upgraded. Overall I think this is good value for money and it was delivered quickly too…

This is a well-featured machine for a great price

I wanted a laptop to use for work and internet browsing. Initially I had difficulty charging the laptop and contacted the seller. They responded very quickly and asked relevant questions to try to ascertain if the charger was faulty. It turned out that there was nothing wrong with the charger the problem was my fault because I had not noticed that the plug had not been fully inserted during charging, Problem resolved the laptop charged beautifully. The instructions for installing windows are clear and easy to follow – just as well given my difficulty in making sure the charger was plugged in. I would thoroughly recommend this product and these sellers who have given excellent customer service.

It arrived promptly and works well, reasonably fast for a mid range model. seems to be robust, keyboard fine although the small slot type on/off switch, is a bit annoying.
Also the card reader seems to need the memory card to be re-inserted before it recognizes it.
But these are just small glitches and my four stars may be a littler harsh, probably . I am not a gamer and my uses are pretty pedestrian, but overall i would say its a pretty nice machine to use so far so good!

This laptop was bought as a present for my partner in September of 2019 prior to her taking it to new Zealand for a prolonged (over winter) stay. This review is given after 6 months of ownership and is based primarily upon her comments and observations, with some small use of the machine by me to assess her feedback.

Pros: A light weight and attractive laptop that starts very quickly and has an excellent screen. It has an excellent battery life and gives ample warning of going into ‘battery saver mode’ when used with out being plugged into the mains electricity. It gives clear indication of an action in progress when waiting for programmes or web pages to load. Considered very good value for money with the full knowledge of in built memory storage.

Cons: As mentioned by other reviewers, the delete key is located below the ‘back’ button and is very easy to ‘catch’, although usage and experience has tended to reduce this problem. Sound volume is quite low and ear phones were needed when watching streamed programmes. A couple of the keys seemed to be very sensitive and produced repeated letters when typing (particularly the ‘o’ and ‘s’ keys. Quite firm pressure was often needed to ‘left click’.

Overall: Our opinion is that the pros far outweigh the cons and that the laptop was an excellent purchase. Although we have deducted a ‘star’ for the issues mentioned, we would have made this half a star if the option was available. In conclusion, would we recommend to others, yes, would we buy again, yes.

The selling point here is the price, which is pretty much unbeatable. This laptop is not fast, and has very little storage. But is perfect if you don’t want to fork out much on a laptop just for basic tasks.
I bought this for my father, purely for day to day internet browsing and playing some (very) old steam games. Its absolutely fine for these things despite the modest specs, so Im happy that I’ve not paid money for extra functions which he’ll never use.
Its far from a flying machine, but it gets the Job done and you will not get anything better for the price.

its really good laptop for the price youre paying for it runs quite smoothly for videos and surfing the web there is a lil issue with youtube however it just seems to take forever to load anything on youtube but every other site works fine so nit sure what gives with that. for gaming it ran more games then I thought it would mostly old games tho it wouldn’t be capable of running games like apex at a high frame rate but will run games like fallout or skyrim so im happy with that overall great laptop

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPlease don’t buy this for a student, it is far too slow, especially when several pages are open. Invest in something a with better specs, and probably a longer life.

The screen display is excellent … much better than I expected.
    It really is lightweight…
Because it is made of plastic..SO DON’T DROP IT.

I downloaded Open Office, (it’s free) so all the standard document programs are working fine.

The speaker quality is appalling; to play music/speech I use headphones, which works ok. I expect speakers would work too.
I haven’t even tried loading Photoshop, it is way too slow , I will try a basic program so that I can do an initial photo assessment, but use my desktop PC for storing/processing RAW/Jpg files.
It cannot handle streaming video from Amazon Prime Video or Channel 4 (but I can use my smartphone). Listening to Radio 3 or 4 is fine, and small-frame videos from Youtube work ok
The built-in solitaire game works, I doubt anything heavier would work, (but I haven’t tried downloading any)
There is no CD/DVD player, so you will need another device for that, and all software has to be downloaded.

There is 1 USB port on each side, I use the tracker pad, so dont need a mouse.

I haven’t tried expanding storage, as I will only be using text docs – please investigate fully before assuming this will work for you.

At 200, I am pleased with this laptop.
But… think carefully what you need; it is worth it for me as a travel laptop, (a smartphone screen is just no good for document handling), and I have a real PC and a smartphone for other functions.

Delighted. Son came for xmas and transformed this laptop. Originally would only download app that were in its library, anything else said no internet connection. This is because it’s on windows 10s. I believe the s stands for security, this interferes with many things. My son got rid of the s this meant we could download firefox, also google earth etc. But thats windows 10 the actual laptop is proving to be very good’ it has basic office, what is annoying is every time you use it microsoft plague you to sign up for microsoft pro, which of course charges. The hd was a bit disappointing, my old computer 10-12 years old has a better picture. But value for money 10 out of 10. As said delighted, thanks to my son getting rid of the s. If you do this you lose security but i already had an avg security for 10 appliances which cost about7.50 of amazon. Well worth it.

Having spent some time saving up for her first laptop, my 11 year old daughter order this one.

It was easy to set up, has a decent sized screen, good battery and it’s been a great introduction into owning a first laptop for her. She’s delighted with it.

So far it’s been used for online browsing, online school work and recently installed MS365. It happily runs it all.

It’s not going to blow you away for power, but’s this has been great value for money buy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a first laptop for their child.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBought this laptop as a present for the wife. She only needs basic functions like document writing and browsing the Internet and this laptop met those requirements with ease. It has a better HD screen than I had expected although the colour was perhaps not as crisp as the more expensive laptops. It comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Home edition and 64Gb of SSD storage which is easily enough to hold windows and the MS office 365 suite with about 29Gb left over. The storage can be expanded with either a micro SD card that slots easily in the side or a 2.5″ hard drive (max 1TB) which fits snuggly inside the laptop case. The touchpad is nice and comfortable to use and response times very acceptable when running office programs etc. The only downer on this laptop is the sound. If that’s not important to you then no problems but if you want a good sound this is not the laptop for you. You cannot really expect Hi-Fi at this price but what it gives is very tinny and slightly distorted with a light background noise. All in all a nice laptop for the price.

Great little laptop for for the price.

I needed something light weight and very portable and be compatable with a machine for work. This was ideal and more.

Easily put on the software needed once I got adjusted the auto play instructions sorted, also added office pro, also added somethings for fun and there’s still loads of space to expand the work machines used.

Only downside is the speaker volume. Even at 100% I find it hard to hear.

Fusion5 customer service staff are also helpful.

I like the size of it and I like the screen quality. I recommend buying headphones or speakers with this one because the audio is not good. It’s low and scratchy. But it doesn’t get in my way much because I use bluetooth headphones with it. I don’t like Windows 10, but that’s a personal preference. It would also be good if you had one of those things you put a disc into ( sorry, it’s not my first language and I don’t know what to call this specific thing). Overall, its good for personal use. I don’t know about gaming because I don’t play on PC.

I bought this for my brother, who has had a stroke and is paralysed down his left side. It has also affected his left eye.
The laptop is lightweight and easy for him to use. The screen size is just right, so he can easily see what is on the screen.
He also uses to watch it to watch Netflix, which he enjoys.
If I had a criticism, it would be that I had to buy a separate, wireless mouse, as he finds the cursor control on the keyboard difficult to use.
    Overall though, a good purchase.

The little laptop is pretty much faultless. I like the fact that it has a micro SD card facility and two USB ports which is well adequate for the job. The construction of the laptop is sturdy and has a feeling of quality about it. The keyboard and click pad are very smooth to use, with the click pad having a sturdy feel to it. It run’s the imperious Windows 10 and the screen is bright and sharp. The battery time after a full charge is about seven hours. One would always like longer of course but it’s up to industrial standard. It was a good purchase.

The Fusion 5 is light and perfect if you just want it for some word-processing and online TV. There isn’t much memory, so I suspect gaming is out (although, I haven’t tried) but that limitation is reflected in the price.

I did have a problem with charging the laptop at the outset, but that turned out to be a defective charger. However, Amazon IT support soon suggested a replacement and refunded my account for the inconvenience. The laptop has been running fine since.

I wanted to supplement my two elderly laptops with something decent but low priced, and this one did the job. Obviously not for heavy-duty data-processing or high-end gaming, but fine for everyday non-demanding stuff. Truly light in weight, it is good to use in bed. The battery lasts a long time and re-charges quickly. One complaint is that I don’t like the feel of the trackpad much, but you could always go with a mouse, especially to get smooth tracking while gaming. The screen is bright and clear and the speed is adequate for simple tasks.

Good all round laptop that I can actually have on my lap without burning my thigh. No fan and battery life is excellent on normal use. Windows is fast enough for my needs and the wifi receiving speed is better than all my current devices.
The downside is that charging is not USB b, the case is a bit flimsy and the speakers are screechy.
Storage space at 64gb isn’t great but acceptable.
I like the fact that I can listen with BT headphones as well as use wifi. My tablet and phone conflict with each other when doing this.
All in all I’m very pleased with my purchase and it’s my next best friend.

This arrived on time well packaged and undamaged I connected the power and the internet and all seemed well However when operating it I found it slow and freezing so I had to return and start again with everything I tried.
After some frustration, I went to the troubleshooter that recommended restart so I did that However, it did not progress beyond the first step – I tried several times. I could not put it back to factory settings for return but there isn’t much on it. After more than 8 hours the battery was still at 40% so I decided to return it.
It is such a nice laptop, compact, light, very good screen picture but this one was faulty and there is no option but to return it.

Brilliant on screen image for most games…any bigger games then I advise you increase the storage like I’ve done…and this is no problem whatsoever. Quite easy in fact. Happy with the purchase overall, good value with a couple of caveats. The highlight of the laptop is the screen, full 1080p HD screen in a budget laptop is very welcome. Laptop is fine for most uses, word processing, web browsing, watching videos etc. Has a fairly weak CPU as you might expect from this price range so not suitable for more demanding uses such as gaming and video editing. Noticed some stuttering when trying to play back high bitrate videos and speakers are fairly quiet and tinny so would certainly recommend using headphones for video and music playback.

Laptop is thin and light so suitable for using on the go. Build quality feels solid, keyboard is nice to use though touchpad scrolling is not very smooth or responsive so better to use with a mouse.

Overall it’s a good value laptop, does all the basic stuff just fine but some understandable compromises have been made to keep the price down.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersStarted a new job in June and what do you know… the company laptop has not arrived so I had to use my personal monstrous Toshiba Satellite 17″ laptop in garish red. Had it for years and the wear and tear shows but was marginally reliable until I had to do actual work for a week and it gave up the ghost. Thankfully this gave me the incentive to purchase a new laptop so as soon as I entered the term in Amazon’s search window the Fusion 5 deal appears. It didn’t bother me that it was an unknown brand device as I am not too loyal to brands in IT products but I have been more impressed with the Windows 10 OS, light weight of the chassis and speed of the Intel quad processor. I was a little put off about the minimal storage capacity but this is easily expandable with a TF card or purchased HDD and I keep all file archived on a WD external drive anyway. A web version of Office is already installed along with Netflix and for aesthetics, the silver chassis and slim profile makes it stand out amongst my co-workers 10″ Dell Latitudes. Hint: go for the slightly larger screen as it makes viewing spreadsheets and web-tainment media easier while not sacrificing weight. Overall one of my better pc purchases and would only advise the Fusion 5 team to continue developing their web store and support pages. BTW I only gave it 3 stars for gaming as I use this laptop primarily for business and social media so I can’t comment on its gaming capabilities unfortunately.

Golden Review Award: 182 From Our UsersI wanted a small, lightweight, Windows laptop that I could use around the house, or whilst away, as an alternative to my iPad. It was important that I could quickly and simply download, save and watch video from my in-car GoPro camera, which uses micro SD cards, when I’m at the race track. I wanted a larger screen than my iPad too. I’d heard good reports about HDD machines and the Fusion 5 laptop (notebook/lapbook? – Fusion seem confused) had good reviews here on Amazon and was clearly great value, but didn’t have huge amounts of memory. Anyway, I decided to go for it and was not disappointed. It is very fast, super-light and the screen quality is very good indeed, especially at under 200.00. The keyboard and tracking pad work well and so far the 64GB memory is not an issue, as I can save data to a micro SD card if I need to. It is a Wi-Fi only laptop, but connects instantly and appears to be just as fast as my hard-wired PC! I have to say I’m very happy with my purchase.

I bought this laptop as my old one was quickly giving up.

I don’t need a very beastly machine as all I use it for is some light business jobs and online shopping. The laptop seems really good for these entry level jobs.

However, I am unsure if it will handle more demanding programmes as I’m in no need to test this out.

The WiFi strength does seem to be a bit poor. The router is downstairs where I get full signal but when I go upstairs it isn’t as fast.

The machine itself is very thin and light. Ideal for transportation.

The only issue I have found is the built in track pad. It’s a bit unresponsive but to be honest I hate them in general so I just use a cheap usb mouse.

Golden Review Award: 144 From Our UsersI purchased this Laptop for my mother to use as her old one had come to the end of its life. Personally I spent about 5 hours setting things up on it for her so I have a reasonable feel for the item My Mother has had it about 6 weeks now and I have asked her for feedback for this review.

The appearance of the item is nice. It looks modern and that some thought was put into its overall appearance. It’s lightweight so easy to carry and when closed is quiet slim. The keyboard is OK to use and is at a good quality you would expect from a product at this price. The touch pad is OK but the buttons are incorporated into the bottom of the pad without and visible indication to their location. When pressed they are a little clunky, this is probably the worst part of this product. But, a mouse has been plugged in so the touch pad isn’t being used meaning this flaw is redundant.

My Mother uses this laptop for her Email and Facebook. These tasks are performed very well and this laptop is a highly capable machine for these tasks. Video playback is great with the HD screen and the speakers are acceptable. I was impressed by the built in WIFI and ran a lot faster than her previous Laptop. The battery life seems good but it’s only occasionally used unplugged from the charger.

My Mother doesn’t play game so I can’t comment about its performance in that area but having an educated guess I believe Facebook games should run ok on it. But if wanting something for serious gamming then your look at the wrong product.

The components specifications for this price are excellent, a branded product with lower specs comes in at a higher price and to match these specs on a branded product you will have to pay a lot more. The intel chip is the same as you would find in many other higher priced branded products, so why pay more?

So to sum if up, cost to performance this is an excellent product that performs well in the area’s for mentioned so you cant go wrong for under 200.

This is a great option if you’re looking for an easy to use, handy laptop. It’s not amazing for gaming as it doesn’t have a disc drive and doesn’t come with much memory space to download games, but it is great for browsing, streaming, and everyday simple needs. The least good thing about this laptop is it’s speakers – they’re really not good and do not produce a loud sound at all, even with earphones, so if you’re a bit hard of hearing then you might struggle with this. But I do like the screen, which looks nice and clear. I’m not a laptop expert so I don’t know all the spec and technical details, but I find this user friendly and enjoyable to use for a great price. Overall, pleased with my purchase.

This little lapbook has turned out to be the perfect solution for our kids. After reading the reviews, some comparisons of features with some larger manufacturers and and major deliberation i settled for the T90B+ Pro Model Lapbook.

The Fusion 5 is a slim and light portable computer or ‘lapbook’ — due in part to the absence of a (now almost obsolete) CD drive. Its thoughtful design provides users with two USB ports and a micro SD card slot — adequate for most people in allowing for a variety of hardware to be attached when required eg, mouse, flash drive, or external CD drive.

For the price, it is also good value in terms of build quality offering a firm / positive keyboard (a must for touch-typists) and sharp screen. In conclusion, while higher-specification computers abound — they also come at a higher price — the Fusion 5 is particularly recommended to anyone looking for a basic ‘workhorse’.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHaving spent many hours reading reviews and specifications of laptops up to 250+ I bought the Fusion5 T90B +Pro based on its recommendations. Having set it up and used it for about a week, I have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody who is looking for a simple to use, easy to set-up laptop that all the family can use. My wife commented on the speed of searches and the solid feel of the keyboard and trackpad. I would also add that the display is excellent, both bright and clear. overall, the machine feels well made and solid, despite its slim design. It is also an ideal size for carrying around.

As our family laptop its primary use will be browsing the net, shopping, receiving and sending emails etc. and after using it for all of these functions, I have no hesitation in recommending. I don’t think you will find a better value laptop for under 200, and would struggle to find better value for money at a higher price-point. Les G

I was immediately impressed to find that the pc hadn’t been rammed full of useless software and ads for even more. It arrives clean and untouched.
More importantly, the hardware is a match for the software (OS). Many PC’s come and are unfit for what is inside them causing them to run slowly and in some cases…crash after just a few months of running. I can see that this won’t happen here because it runs smoothly. As soon as something is clicked…It is open. No lag or twitchiness.

The picture is as advertised. Very high quality with vibrant colour and crisp definition.

This is a fairly good all rounder for the price The screen display is impressive. It is not super fast but fast enough as a family computer and is mainly being used for browsing and for the kids homework. You will need some extra disk space as it only comes with 32GB, however there are many cheap options to expand this to a reasonable amount. I have had this PC for a couple of weeks now and happy with it in terms of quality considering it is not really expensive. The right and left click buttons on the mouse-pad took little while to get used to (they are built into the pad and not separate as on my last laptop) but this was only a minor issue easily got over once you get a bit of practice. Overall good value for money as a general Laptop and pleased with the purchase as a whole.

I bought this laptop after searching and searching. I just needed a basic one that would let me browse, create word files and do general work on. It was so easy to set up and i was going within minutes. The screen can be slightly hard to see when you’ve got the big light on but most of the time its a beautiful looking display.
the only thing i don’t like about this, is the mouse-pad…. Its loud and really difficult to use to navigate. Half of the time it’ll resize the screen or adjust the brightness.
I’ve bought a wireless mouse for a couple of quid and the problem is solved. it is a fantastic machine and i’m glad i got it. fantastic delivery speed. keep up the good work

Golden Review Award: 174 From Our UsersBought this product mainly for doing Family History research, and have found it ideal, not a lot of unneccessary “apps” preloaded, so there is plenty of room for lots of detail where Family History is concerned .An ideal laptop for beginners to the world of computers and the internet. Easy to set up with email account Not the sort of instrument for gaming on.
Perfect for the purpose bought for. If it is necessary Apche Open Office can easily be downloaded for Free and used in the same way as MIcrosoft Office, which does cost a lot of cash. Large viewing area on the screen and a clear picture.

Golden Review Award: 52 From Our UsersI bought this laptop for my wife as she’s just started a college course that’s leading to a degree. She needed something lightweight that she could carry with her college books that wouldn’t take up too much room. This laptop seemed to fit the bill.
This laptop has a embedded hard drive, which is basically like an SD card but built into the motherboard, this is the only major issue with this laptop as it restricts you to just 32gb of storage, which after just 2 weeks was full up. All we added to the stock install was MS Office Professional. The hard drive capacity I think should be at least 100gb to cope with modern expectations. Thankfully there is the facility to add a second hard drive which can be upto 1tb. The bad thing is, you can’t add the second drive and install windows on that drive as i was advised by the tech support at fusion5 which is disappointing.
Other than the storage issue everything else is fine, the screen resolution is great, and the HD is fine. it won’t win any awards, but it does what’s expected at this price point. It comes with Windows 10 which is expected, and boots up nice and fast. As the hard disc is eMMc it’s superquiet, and is pretty good at completing tasks as required. There is no DVD drive, so if you want to watch any films you need to store them on an external USB drive or memory stick.
So, in summary a really good laptop for the price, let down ONLY by insufficient storage capacity.

The 14.1″ Fusion% T90B+ Pro Model Lapbook seems great value for the money. Received it last week and it worked straight out of the box. The screen looks great, the mouse pad is nicely responsive (although I am not a fan of ‘pads’), it is super light weight and even if the keyboard is a bit clunky and there is a ‘cheap’ feel to the overall package at this money I have no real complaint. The biggest downside is the size of the hard drive. It is a nice, quick, SSD but at 30 gig pre-installed Windows 10 takes up 90% of that space! I stripped out as much bloatware as I am able and also uninstalled the games and such like crap. Even so it did not make a great deal of difference but after installing Firefox browser and Libre Office all worked well and I still had 3 gig spare. Nevertheless periodically a warning window would ‘slide in’ stage right telling me I was down to my last few megabytes??!!?? However, there is a slot for an additional hard drive and so added a 240 gig SSD which worked like a charm. I hate Windows with a vengeance and am pleased to report that (with a little faffing) I was able to install Linux Mint 19 as a dual boot. I then had a headbanging couple of hours trying to get Linux to see the internal modem and on taking a break my partner suggested that if I was having problems then probably better to stick with Windows since the machine was destined for my granddaughter. I had to see the sense in that and so deferred to her judgement and uninstalled Linux. This meant that the 240g hard drive was set up as a data drive so at least there is no chance (?!?) of loosing data if the OS crashes – or worse. Didn’t get time to check out the mic and camera. If you need to get into the Bios settings its F7 on startup but did not seem to recognise USB drives – had to get to them through Windows??!!?? So:
    Pros:
    Great value for money
    Works out of the box
Great for homework, email, Netflicks, etc.
    Good screen
    Very lightweight
Seems to be able to run Linux (Mint 19 – Tara)
    SD slot (micro) very handy

    Cons:
    Keyboard a bit clunky
Cheap feel – but hey! look at what you get for the price!
Hard drive way too small, particularly if using Windows OS.
Problem with Bios seeing USB drives
Couldn’t get Linux to see the modem so if going that route may require an USB modem?

Golden Review Award: 157 From Our UsersOur old Dell Laptop died and I needed an urgent replacement. So I saw the Fusion Laptop advertised through Amazon with opportunity to try and return if your not satisfied. It arrived well within the guide time and was very easy to set up and transfer a lot of items from my old PC. I was amazed at how quick it responds and how versatile it is, you always feel when you buy an item that is too good to be true that it won’t meet your expectations, and I had envisaged that I would return the product, but I find it an excellent addition to our household. The only issues I would think is the build quality of the keyboard and touch pad, but as I use a mouse and keyboard the shouldn’t be a problem, their also is a lack of HDMI socket but I won’t be using this for streaming, so again it’s not a problem. I would recommend buying the additional storage as I found I needed it. But all in all I am delighted with this laptop at an unbelievable price, I would gladly recommend this produc

Golden Review Award: 338 From Our Users(Note, this review is after 24 hours of use)

Purchased this laptop for my wife who wanted something to be able to type up documents for work; I didn’t need anything too powerful and using ‘the cloud’ would mean the storage would not be an issue either.

The case, looks aluminium, but of course at this price it’s plastic. But the plastic isn’t that ‘flexible’ type you get with other cheap devices, and looks as though it will stand up to household use. There are some pretty decent feet on the laptop as well, meaning it doesn’t sit exactly flush with a desktop, giving room for the device to breathe, although given the specs, I’m sure heat isn’t going to be an issue.

For the price, the 14.1″ HD screen is very clear indeed, and although I don’t like laptop keyboards myself (keys are too flat and square), my wife doesn’t have an issue with it.

One minor gripe about the keyboard is that the enter key (a bar shape) is directly beneath the delete key, so as I am used to using an L-shaped enter key, I found myself (a touchtyper) hitting the delete button more often than not – but I’m not going to be using it, so hey!

On first using the product, set up was exceptionally easy, and ‘Cortana’ which I typically disable on Windows10 allowed me to do the entire set up by voice – this will no doubt be a godsend for those less technical people. One issue I found during set up and when first using the device was the trackpad didn’t actually operate; no amount of tapping the pad had any affect – during the set up it meant I couldn’t ‘privatise’ all the settings for Windows but would have to do this later (on reflection I could have used the keyboard to make the choices, but did this after entering Windows).

However, following some extensive Windows updates (and there were a few!), the trackpad started working again. It is one of those trackpads, that although have a definate ‘click’ for the L & R buttons, is also sensitive enough for a simple ‘tap’ which I like.

One minor complaint, and I’m awaiting feedback from the seller, is that the wi-fi adaptor is a little ‘iffy’ when it comes to range. I have many other laptops and they all work without incident at the other end of the house, but with this device, it barely picked up a signal unless you were within about 5 meters of the router – not a real issue – but noted that the wifi is not picking up 2.4GHz band, so might be a problem for someone with an older router.

Pros: A really cheap laptop, with a decent screen and an easy set up routine for the less initiated.
Cons: Needs to be updated immediately before everything worked. Wi-Fi adaptor is not the most powerful.

Verdict: If you need a laptop to browse the Internet, write documents and emails, for the price, this is well worth the purchase; stick a peice of fruit on the lid and you could almost mistake it for a Macbook (not that I like those!).

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersNow it past a month. This laptop is lightweight, simple and straight to point use, for those who just quick access for things. I bought it so I can use Word and print.. along with handful of apps downloads shopping and games I use often. The fact it lightweight mean I can bring with me to bed night time watch and do stuff. Despite it begin windows 10 not great for dvd playback. I able to find, with Dvd drive (usb) plug in and esp bought dvd playback app on Amazon to download mean I can watch dvd discs. All still going great. Download SuperTux few sidescrolling coins collecting games.
It quite at ease and lack hassles of tech stuff. Great for carry take quick look up put down on floor etc reminders. typing out stuff whatever quick or slow.

Golden Review Award: 226 From Our UsersIt arrived a day late as it needed to be signed for. Well protected for shipping and delivery.
Worked immediately out of the box.
Once connected to the internet it down loaded
the newest version of windows 10. Oh dear bloatware that needed additional storeage immediately so plugged in an additional 32GB flash drive. And the Microsoft took 4 hours to install itself. It filled the installed storeage of 32GB to 29 GB. Ouch.
Make sure you delete the old version from its backup to recover the upto 8 GB it occupies or your new machine will be useless.
It works well for a machine at such a competitive price enjoy. M

Good machine for the price, storeage too small

Golden Review Award: 272 From Our UsersThis laptop runs well considering its value.

The only reasons why i didn’t give this 5 stars are because the speaker quality can be much better, at times it can run a bit slow when too many webpages are opened and the internal storage is on the small side. Regardless, of these issues which are understanable due to the value; if you want a cost effective laptop to execute daily task i.e. work, education, browsing etc this is definitely the laptop for you.

Also don’t be fooled by the brand this laptop does just as good of a job as some my previous laptops from other companies

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe cost effectiveness of the laptop is by far it’s strongest suit. For what you pay, it is a good little system. Despite the fact it is easily over-tasked and slow when running multiple programs, for single programs it runs just fine. Display is decent and looks good, but Keyboard layout could be improved slightly (the size of the enter button for example is not optimal) for the ease of user. Very lightweight and portable, but should take care not to damage as potentially flimsy to slight damage.

Overall. Well worth the money for what it is. Not a powerful machine, but remain very pleased with purchase.

Golden Review Award: 153 From Our UsersGood delivery. Smart and light. Keys are clear and better size than my old laptop. Still early but confident I am going to like this a lot. Easy to pack and use for films etc as well. You do need extra storage but the company offer a free gift choice including 32GB SD card, so get that!

Golden Review Award: 55 From Our UsersRegarding the product, it is more than adequate for the price. What blew me away is the customer service. I managed to totally damage the operating system through a failed windows update and human errors in trying to backtrack the update. And all of that while I was spending months in South America, very far from any customer service centre. They first arranged for a reboot USB stick to be sent to me, but when the USB stick got lost in the post, they arranged to pass me the files and the instructions to make my own reboot stick via OneDrive. And it worked fine. I was able to recover the laptop easily. All along the process, they have been incredibly responsive and showed a flexibility and can-do attitude that I had come to think impossible from any electronic vendor. Very refreshing!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersVery compact, lightweight and quiet running (no noisy cooling fans).
Web browsing (Chrome) seems a little slow at times, and there is little storage left on the 32GB (eMMC) SSD with the OS and a few other programs installed (less than 6GB), so you will definitely want to expand with a 1TB HDD, which could not be more simple to install.
Overall very good value for money for a small budget laptop.
