Excellent pic on different colour walls.
Excellent device quality looks smart and not like project.
Down fall is not much instructions with accessing different apps,being able to watch normal 1-5 tv channels,connectivity and settings need to be explained more in booklet.

We had the Anker Nebula, can-shaped projector which was great, but very underpowered for our use. I started looking at bigger projectors, and saw that the prices for these very quickly escalated. Given our previous positive experience with the Nebula, we went for this projector, which does the job very well. The software is a bit temperamental, but fundamentally, the picture is good, the sound is pretty good from the internal speakers, and it requires very little setting up or connecting to other peripherals. So, huge improvement on our previous model, and good value.
My first projector and I have to say that it exceeded my expectations both on terms of ease of use and picture quality. Great sound from the built in speakers too. If I had to be critical, I’d say that the software has a few gaps that I’ve had to fill – for example, the current version of the Netflix app, won’t run on the projector’s version of Android TV, but fortunately, I have an Apple TV box that I can use for that and also airplay from my phone, as I found screen mirroring somewhat flaky. However, these things are minor in comparison to what a great 120″ picture I’m getting out of this.
I was concerned with spending so much on this but the sound and picture quality is amazing! Ease of use and set up too. It feels like the cinema has been brought to the home. Our old tv will be ditched – this is the future of home entertainment.
The picture is nice and sharp with 4K content and the onboard sound is good – but is easily trumped by an external soundbar – I have connected to a Sonos Beam via HDMI Arc and a 10m cable.
The native apps are ok but I found them a bit unstable. I prefer to use a Fire TV 4K stick – this seems to reduce the fan noise a bit.
I find the contrast and black levels underwhelming – but my main TV is an OLED so I suppose my expectations should be lowered in this area. Autofocus works quite well – it does seem to drift out of focus as it warms up from a cold start – understandable I guess.
In general, I’m pleased that I bought this – albeit at a lower price on Prime Day. If I had paid full price, I would probably reduce my rating by 1 sta
Decided to take the plunge and get a projector for presentations.
Easy to set up and attaches easily to a tripod.
Android OS is an added bonus despite the majority of my devices being IOS.
Connectivity and inputs are ok but it could have a USB C input.
Sound quality is really impressive.
Screen autofocus is quick but this does suffer a little if there is a light source near where you want to project.
Using this outside in the evening with a projection screen wasn’t great due to the natural light – hopefully this will fair better during the darker nights.
But projecting inside is really good the 4K image capability really us amazing.
I will play with the settings more to see if i can improve the brightness etc but impressive kit so far.
This was my first projector purchase but I did extensive research and visits / demos with AV specialists prior to purchase. The Nebula 4K max is fantastic with simple set up/auto focus, high quality video and sound at a relative affordable price compared to separates. I have managed to get virgin tv , sky sports, bt sport, amazon prime, Netflix, apple tv, disney+, all working via STB or using Android tv on the projector and the nifty NEBULA manager app on my phone . To balance the review I would say that the projector struggles to deliver in high bright sunlight so you need blackout to maintain a great image but if you know this prior to purchase you will not be disappointed and the price point makes this high quality product very compelling. Last but not least, the post sale customer support is exceptional. I had trouble getting my blue-ray dvd player to work with the Nebula 4K max and the tech support team really went above and beyond to help me find a solution to the compatibility problem. They were first class. Huge recommendation from me! thank you Anker!
Wonderful product, easy to install and use. Some UK apps are unavailable but i believe you can follow up with customer service to get guidance on how to install.
I have to mention customer service as i did have an initial issue with the product (dead pixel). The escalation to customer service resulted in a replacement in less than a week – outstanding – even when they were initially out of stock. (Thanks Willa). I look forward to exploring the features over the coming days/weeks and im sure Anker customer service will continue to be as helpful and prompt as they have been already.
This is my second purchase as first one was damaged on arrival unfortunately. Still waiting for refund.

Beast of a projector! Spectacular picture and fantastic sound. This is the perfect projector for me. I was worried that I might not be able to play ‘Now’ and ‘Sky Store’ using Chromecast. After a bit of setting up to my delight I found out that I absolutely can! So no need for the HDMI cable all the time. Can just play both App’s from my phone to the projector. Having read some reviews I noticed people are having problems with Netflix. Simply plug in a device with the App already installed. It will play in 4K if the device supports 4K. I use my ‘Now’ box to watch Netflix.
Updated review: I noticed some Lip Sync issues when connecting my headphones to the projector through Blutooth. After a lot of experimenting I found that the best method to resolve this is to connect the headphones to the device linked up to the projector rather than pairing with the projector. I connect my headphones now to the Xbox Series X and there are no issues.
Got this to upgrade my current Mars II projector and the difference is amazing. With the Mars II it was unwatchable in any kind of light – with the Cosmos Max this is no longer an issue and looks ok in light and is obviously going to look better in a dark room. No setup issues and simple to use with the Android TV – Netflix is still a pain to get on the device but can be done – Can’t get Sky Sports or BT Sports or IPlayer to work as unable to install from playstore (not the Cosmos Max fault) due to the apps “not being available for this device.” Sound is amazing , I used to hook up external speakers or connect to Bluetooth with my old Mars II but not with this, the sound is incredible. One downside is it big and and not very portable. I have been looking for a case to store this when not in use but yet to find one so keep in box while not in use – overall fantastic!

With the sound and apps already installed I’m really impressed with the product. One gripe is brightness if it was just a little brighter then I’d give this 5 stars. My wife and the family love it.
Ease of use and the interface is great.
Picture and sound are amazing, I have jealous mates that invested thousands in 8k 60 inch tvs and gasp in awe of my 150 inch beast. The only bad comment would be that the fan is excessively loud when at full brightness, but when the sun is past the living room you can turn that down to 40 and then it’s dead silent.
A nice looking 4k media projector that produces a good quality image. It is well made and offers various inputs for external bluray players etc. It produces a picture of about 92 diagonally from around 7ft 6inchs. The sound is excellent from the projector and the brightness is adequate with a little ambient light the picture can still be viewed ,but it has to be seen in a dark room to appreciate the detail and colours in the picture. The remote is easy to use and has the goole voice feature which is great to use.
In conclusion: I just wish the throw ratio was a little shorter to accommodate for smaller room sizes. Otherwise an impressive piece of kit for a reasonable price.
Bought ours via their Kickstarter campaign (sorry, Amazon) and picture/sound are superb. We did have an issue with playing DVDs via the HDMI; it didn’t work – sound was badly distorted, but their customer service is impeccable. They sorted it out for us immediately with a new firmware upgrade and now it’s perfect. Very pleased. Highly recommended.
4K picture is excellent – 100 inch projection from 9 feet away which is ideal for my living room. Auto focus and Keystone correction works very well. set up couldn’t be easier.

Actually, when I first get it, it works not very well, and I think now that it has smart system, so it can get better by upgrading the software. Eventually, Nebula team indeed give a pretty good version and experience after several times software udpate. I am very satisfied with the current product, the stronger Android TV, and I can enjoy it with my family and friends!
Picture and sound are both amazing! If you have the money to spare and a decent sized room where you can use it you almost certainly won’t regret it.

It’s a huge upgrade on my last projector. Great quality picture and sound. What I also love about it is how portable it is and easy to setup.
