Great Air turnaround and value
This Air purifier is one of the surprises here, considering how cheap it is and how well it actually works.
My wife and I react quite a bit to house dust and had smaller purifiers before and while the worked ok, they had by far not the power and air circulation this one has.
Features that stand out:
– Ionisation
– Timer
– Fan speed control
This makes it super easy to use and as long you keep it with Fan speed 1 or 2 it is also fairly silent, with Fan speed 3 it is getting quite ab it noisier.
It also has a double filter 1 grainier one and 1 finer which is important to filter properly and I hope the filters will be available in the future for a longer time as this one is definitely a keeper for us.
The only improvement I would like to see is a smart version that can be controlled via app or home automation, this would make it a brilliant Air purifier, especially for bigger rooms and would also allow for automatic turning it on.
Really good for the price but I can't get alexa to work
Really good air purifier. Works well quiet enough to sleep with on power 1 or 2.cant get it to discover on alexa though but I just use the app instead
Great for smoke and dus
It was able to remove cigarette odour in the room within 15 mins (I put it on auto mode). It was able to purify the air when I was cleaning the cat litter with a lot of dust in the air! The air filter would last longer if you put an extra layer of filter (fibre cloth) on the outside.
Good but chucky
Pretty good. I live in a house full of smokers so it is nice having this in my room.
When I first turned it on it shone a pretty red with numbers in the hundreds. The levels do go up and down depending if there is a high amount of smoke in the house. It does do well however I feel that it does get a bit overwhelmed, but that may just be me.
It is a chunky unit so (think of a basket for clothes). If I was any good with carpentry I would try to pin it to the wall if it wasn’t so heavy.
Note: Do double check that you have removed the plastic from the filter because I certainly didn’
Leave on AUTO all the time - breathe HAPPY!
My sister runs a nail salon and although it is a much smaller space than what this purifier can handle, I am sure it would do as much of a great job in a bigger space than where it has been for the past three months. It is left on AUTO for 6-7 hours every single day – from 10 am when she starts to 5-6 in the evening when she leaves, and it makes a whole load of difference. When she starts drilling, or uses chemicals to remove gel, the purifier turns red and activates its cycle, humming a lot louder and working a lot harder, but calms down when there are no clients. She is extremely happy with this purifier and without it, she can smell all the chemicals a lot stronger and has to wear a special mask to be able to breathe. Bottom line – it makes a difference and is a great investment into your health! Definitely recommend!
Very well made!
This air providers a fantastic job it is very effective very useful there’s a few settings of course and these different settings obviously depends on how you like it whether you want to extremely powerful or not whether you want automatic so it actually depends on your air and it makes a judgement based on that and personally I found it quite useful the philtres really good at last a very long time still last mean out of the state I don’t use often because I usually have plants to get rid of the bad air in the room anyway but I do use it sometimes when it’s needed and it does a fantastic job personally found a very useful I still do find it useful haven’t had any problems issues with it so far it’s simple to set up very easy to use connected to your phone and other devices electronic devices and for the price I think it’s slightly over what it should be but does it do a fantastic job yes is a convenient 100% and I definitely recommend it for the price the quality of the work it does!
Helps with grandson's allergies
My baby grandson has various allergies and will scratch his skin until it bleeds. Partly this seems to be set off with dust in the air and cat dander. With this unit in the living room it quickly reduces the amount of dust and dander in the air, if it is sunny you can actually see it happening!
We have the unit set on Auto mode where it monitors the air quality and switches automatically to the appropriate mode. The fan us pretty quiet on all but the top mode but if I had this in my bedroom I think I would just keep it on the lowest setting all night rather than clicking on and off in Auto mode.
I have only cleaned the filters and don’t know how long the HEPA filter lasts. To find the correct replacement search for B09YDD3FFD on Amazon.
Fantastic air purifier!
We have tried our fair share of air purifiers and this is by far the best one we have tried. It’s large in size and can handle a larger room easily. It’s straight forward and simple to use. Nice and quite whilst running. Can be used on a timer and also controlled via your mobile phone. Nice sleek design. I like the touch screen buttons. Easy to keep clean. Has a carbon filter which is essential to filtering all the nasties out of the air. This sort of purifier is ideal for keeping cleaner air in your family home, we live in london which is known for high pollution so this definitely gives us peace of mind whilst raising our young family. Currently priced at 159 which is more than reasonable of the quality you will receive.
Good product - quiet when you need it to be!
Summary
Good capacity through the higher speed delivered a positive freshness to my kitchen and living room.
Use
I have allergies in the early summer and always have a purifier on to take out the pollen and general dust. I found this device to be very good in keeping my bedroom comfortable and emits very little noise in ‘sleep mode’.
Operation
I found it easy to use and simple to operate via the buttons on the top of the unit. Choose the speed and timer (number of hours to stay on). On the right you will also find sleep mode, which reduces fan noise.
Remember
To remove the cover from the filter within the unit.
Great produc
This is great product! The sleep mode facility is really quiet and also has the facility to turn the light off. I ordered this for my son because he suffers with asthma and I definitely think it has helped his breathing at night. I would definitely recommend! Good value for money.
Smart air purifie
This air purifier is a smart piece of equipment and can be controlled via the freeTuya app. The air purifier let’s you know what the quality of air is like and works to clean it. It has a Nylon Pre-Filter, Activated Carbon Filter and H13 True HEPA Filter (replacements can be purchased). the smart air purifier can trap 99.97% of air pollutants such as dust, pollen, pet dander etc., The UV light & ionizer can further eliminate bacteria, germs and viruses, which is especially good as we move through these covid times.
We have felt a noticeable difference with this, we suffer badly with hay fever and are surrounded by growing fields.
Small, compact dehumidifier that is great for small spaces (4.8 stars)
Pros:
* Easy to install and operate, buttons are well designed and easy to press
* Does an excellent job at removing excess moisture to avoid damps
* Decent value for money
Dust Free and Smell Free House
I was a little sceptical about how much of a difference this could make, but I’m happy to have found myself unnecessarily worried. It’s a large enough unit, like a PC tower – but has three setting to extract smells and dust from your room. The lowest setting is a barely audible background hum – I can easily watch TV with it on. The highest is a bit louder, more like a desktop fan. Thankfully, I can use the timer when I’m out and the air has been filtered whilst I’m away. The filter is like a large sheet of thick foam – which I haven’t had to replace yet, but it slots in and out of the side of the unit easily enough. Really pleased with the results – noticeably less dust in the living room where I keep it and no lingering food smells, even after the strongest of curry nights!
Stylish and easy to operate
I’ve had this air purifier for four weeks now and honestly it is brilliant, I can actually feel and see the difference. When I first used this for about 20 minutes, I could instantly tell the air quality in the room improve and was fresher.
Sleek modern design, simple to set up and connect with app, the clever plug and play set up, the touch controls, easy to clean and really efficient. You just simply plug it in and straight away it starts analysing your air quality and gives you a percentage. If it’s low it automatically adjusts the cleaning power. It cleans the air of dust and dirt.
The size and capacity is absolutely reasonable for 1-bed with open plan kitchen and ensuite bathroom, displays clear digital readings about the air quality in the room which is very good as I am not that technical with electrical products.
It does a great efficient job of reducing the humidity and damp on walls, too. I used to get mould around my windows in the colder season but I haven’t noticed it coming back at all .
I also sometimes run it a few hours when I’m drying clothes in-doors, helps a lot.
In all seriousness the air purifier is like a stealth filter in the corner. I really like that it’s quite stylish and very easy to operate/empty and move around.
The air quality in my whole house has improved. I have asthma and lung disease and this has really helped my breathing. My only gripe is that it’s not as quiet as I hoped, When the fan is on the higher setting you can hear it but it doesn’t get on your nerves .
This is the first air purifier I have used , Really love this product, superb in every respect, such a joy to use! I would certainly recommend this product, Definitely a great item to have in any household!
Powerful bit of ki
Quiet and effective, this air purifier is really up there for quality. The purifier is very easy to set up and looks really nice, nothing awkward about it at all.
There is a ton of power in this device, it really does make a difference to the air quality inside your home or office.
Great for people who suffer from allergens and adds a little extra peace of mind for customers if you are operating this in a commercial business such as a salon.
Compact,quiet and works well
This is a really compact dehumidifier.
It has a little tank, which is 900ml,but the dehumidifier itself is able to collect only 300ml a day.
This means that the tank will be enough for collecting at least 3 days before the need to empty it.
When the tank is full ,the dehumidifier indicates and it stops working until you empty it.
When you press the power button the dehumidifier also turns on the LED lights inside the tank and you can see the light through the window on the front of the dehumidifier.
The LED lights will change the colour continuously.
If you press the power button 2nd time , this will stop the colours from changing and will lock the current colour to stay on.
If you press the power button for a 3rd time, this will turn off the LED lights completely.
Pressing the power button for a 4th time will turn off the dehumidifier.
The dehumidifier is pretty quiet when working and works well.
The cable of the dehumidifier is pretty long ,which is a really good thing.
The dehumidifier is great for small rooms and great to leave it on in the corner of the room and just empty it when needed.
The price of this dehumidifier is 29.74 at the moment ,which is a good price for the quality that you get.
Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.
his is a mini dehumidifier with 900ml water tank, it’s energy saving as its max power consumption is only 23w, also it’s very small in size, much smaller than expected, easy to put inside wardrobe and absorb moisture from clothes
it’s easy to use, there is only one button on the top panel, it’s for turning on the device, and control the led light, there is no speed or power control, it only work in one speed
it’s quiet when in use, just around 37db, it’s barely noticeable after i closed the wardrobe door
i left it run for one day (around 24 hours), from my thermometer meter reading, it heat up the area from 14 degree to 18 degree, lower the overall humidity from 75% to 57% for that period, consumed around 0.7kw energy, and collected around 100ml of water in the tank, i think it’s quite good for such a small area
i’m very satisfied with this product, would recommend
hope you find these information helpful
Cleaner ai
Does exactly what it says and suction power is very good and the filtration is also very good. Better air quality in the room as we can test before and after use at my home nearly 98% clean after testing.
Simple and effective
Acekool Dehumidifiers for Home Damp, 900ml Small Electric Dehumidifiers, Mini Air Cleaner Moisture Absorbers with LED Lights, Ultra Quiet Auto-Off for Home, Bedroom, Bathroom, Garage, Wardrobe
Simple operation and effective mainly for small rooms. Low noise level.
I would recommend the ACEKOOL WIFI Air Purifier as a good unit.
The ACEKOOL WIFI Air Purifier is a larger unit than I was expecting but it is quite slim, so it surprisingly doesn’t take up too much room and is fairly unobtrusive. It comes with an operating manual which is very easy to follow, and it takes very little time to set the unit up. Being a bloke, to be honest, I just plugged it in and set the mode to AUTO. But that worked just fine!
The AUTO mode detects the air quality in the room and automatically changes the fan speed — it increases the speed if it detects poor quality air and decreases it as air quality improves. There is a display on the front of the unit which indicates the air quality numerically and there is a light below this that changes colour depending on the quality so you can tell at a glance how pure the air is — RED for poor quality to YELLOW for moderate quality to BLUE for good quality through to GREEN for excellent quality.
The unit is not particularly noisy even at the highest speed and if you want to use it at night, there is a sleep mode which is almost silent. Also, on sleep mode, the colour changing light does not operate so it will not disturb your sleep. The air purifier can also operate in 3 modes with 4 different speeds which can be selected manually with a timer to set it running for between 1-12 hours.
The Air Purifier has an ultra-fine Nylon Pre-Filter, Activated Carbon Filter and H13 True HEPA Filter fitted to it which professes to trap 99.97% of air pollutants. There’s a UV light which I assume is to help sterilise the output – I haven’t got the gear to test this, but I have no reason to believe it won’t work as specified.
On using the unit for the first time, I could definitely detect that the air in the room I used it in was fresher. With an active family, and wet weather, you tend to notice these things! I also used the unit in in a room where the door had just been painted using gloss paint, and it certainly made a good job of removing the paint smell.
You can operate the air purifier by remote control using the Tuya app and link it to Alexa so that it can be voice controlled — this is a bit fiddly to achieve but works well when you have managed to pair the app with Alexa.
At around 200, this air purifier is priced similarly to others of a similar size and if you feel the need to purify the air in your home, or if you just want the best air quality you can have, then I would recommend the ACEKOOL WIFI Air Purifier as a good unit which does what is required.
So quiet on sleep it’s a dream
My son is asthmatic an air purifiers definitely help with these condition.
There are 4 setting the first setting is
1 is quite and low
2 is slightly noisier but has a good output
3 is the loudest must a must have especially with pollen dust mite and high traffic. It packs out fast output.
Sleep mode is near on silent and a dream especially as my son suffers the most at night time.
Doesn’t take up much space and covers a room soace really efficiently.
Doesn’t give much details in wear to buy the filters etc so this is something definitely worth looking into before buying.
Easy to clean as has gloss finish sides.
Lead is a ok length.
I would highly recommend for anyone with asthma C.O.P.D for respiration issues
Hopefully this review provides some help as it’s my honest opinion from using the Air purifie
Works good
This was my first time using a big air purified gadget.
I love the way how it works.
It cleans the bad smell and I have noticed that it doesn’t have that much pollution too.
It has different moods too.
I was surprised that it doesn’t make noise and is pretty quit too.
I have placed it in my bedroom to have a cleaner and fresh air so helps to sleep better aswell.
My room is 4mx4m and it covers completely
When I reviewed price was 100 good value and would buy again if needed
Quite yet brilliant.
I am very pleased to say that this air purifier is a breath of fresh air (see what I did there), the set-up was much better and easier than I expected having Alexa support is a great addition which makes using the purifier more convenient.
The unit itself is rather large compared to other purifiers I’ve looked at I think a more compact design would be better for smaller apartments or homes.
The air is noticeably cleaner after using in my bedroom for a few days and we tested in my mom’s bedroom too which is where I feel it’s best due to my mom having asthma cleaner air is essential for just comfort alone, the motor isn’t loud either it has a low pitch humming sound that isn’t too intrusive when sleeping.
Overall I am very happy with the results of the product in my testing just needs a compact design and would be perfect.
Thank you kindly for the review sample.
Life changing product that helps with my allergies
This air purifier is one of the best equipment I ever used in my house. I still cant believe how it transforms my house and quality of my life. I suffer for strong house dust mite allergy so my life is a constant sneeze. Just on second day of using air purifier I noticed improvements in my breathing and sleeping. After couple weeks my symptoms related to allergies are 50% reduced and its huge improvement in quality of my life and sleep. Even my skin condition improved and I dont get rash or redness that often.
Regards technical aspects of this air purifier it is very smart and advanced. Comes with the app that can be use to adjust device wirelessly. It comes with a hepa filter and its super quiet. I barely hear it on the day mode but there is also night mode that its even more quiet and its unhearable. Its not cheap but it is an investments in improving your life quality and thats to me is worth any money.
Proof that this detects and swiftly removes pollutants from the air...
This ACEKOOL WiFi Air Purifier with H13 HEPA filter is making a huge difference in our home. We already had a very much smaller air purifier purchased in January 2018 which we used in the living room in the daytime and moved to the bedroom at night. I have a respiratory issue, perennial allergic rhinitis and hay fever and my partner has some allergic sensitivities.
We’ve now been able to move the small air purifier to the bedroom and are using this in the living room, mostly on ‘Auto’ at present as there’s a lot of tree pollen around at present. We have linked it up to a Smartphone so it’s easy to control and once my partner works out how, we’re hoping to link it to Alexa which will make it even easier to operate.
It’s difficult to know what’s in the air around us – all we can perhaps pick up on is when we feel there’s ‘something in the air’ that’s having a physical effect on us. Since this Acekool purifier arrived, it had never moved from green which was no real surprise as we live rurally.
So – how do we know it’s working? Well, until last night it was a case of blind faith and generally feeling better with the cleaner air this more powerful air purifier was responsible for. Last night, I decided to put on a new wax melt burner. I burn good quality wax melts most evenings and use Spaas tealights and had previously experienced no problems.
However, with this new glass burner the flame is much closer to the bowl containing the wax. It had been lit for 10 minutes when suddenly the air purifier switched to full power, the indicator light elongated and went red and the digital display on the front hit 500. My partner switched off the purifier – which I thought should have been left on. I left the wax melt burning for 10 minutes by which time it had got on both our chests and I was starting to get a headache.
Once the burner was off, we put the air purifier back on again. Within 5-10 minutes it had removed all the noxious substances in the air and the red light and high reading dissipated and had reverted back to low numbers and a green light again.
So if you’re wondering whether this device actually works, or how effective it might be, I can assure you it does work – and it’s highly effective. It performed magnificently in fact.
Afterwards we tried to work out what may have happened in that either the wax melts nor the tealights had affected us previously. It seemed likely that the liquified wax may have overheated in the intensely hot bowl and that the extreme heat may have altered the composition of the emissions coming off the wax and turned them into harmful VOCs – Volatile Organic Compounds. Don’t try this at home!
To say I’m impressed by this large Acekool Air Purifier would be an understatement. In the short time we’ve had it it’s improved the quality of the air – and of our lives – immeasurably. Capable of removing 99.97% of pollutants from a room up to 219 square feet in size and with a timer that can be set from 1 to 12 hours along with 3 modes and 4 different speeds, this is quiet in operation – even less so than our tiny one. With wide functionality, this device looks very stylish too. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it if you’d like to enjoy breathing clean air.
Compact in size but powerful in its performance
We have a dog and my husband is a smoker so the house can feel like it needs the air to be ‘refreshed’ quite often. My usual way of doing this is to open a few windows and on a nice, warm day, the front door too. However, this is only a very temporary solution and doesn’t really have the desired effect.
When I had the chance to try this air purifier, it seemed like a great solution.
Straight out of the box it looked great and smaller than I thought. It measures around:
65cm high
40cm wide
25cm deep
It was easy to get it going and for something that’s a nice and compact size, it packs a powerful punch.
There are 3 settings I can put it on, with one being the lowest and least effective and the third one being the most powerful and gets the best results. Although it is by far the noisiest too!
On that highest setting, the results are superb! After being on overnight, I can literally feel the clean air I breathe in when I first walk out of my bedroom and into the hallway in the morning. I usually leave it on timer and on the 6 hour setting. You can also leave it on for 2 and 4 hours.
You only get 1 filter with the system, which will need to be changed after a few months. For the current price of 99.98 I would have expected at least two.
In conclusion, this is a really modern piece of equipment that has made a massive difference to the quality of air in our home. No more leaving windows open for me!
Great purification power, cheap
These days it is super important to look after air we are breathing. We have a cat and one of family member is allergic to pollen and dust so it is amazing opportunity to test air purifier and see difference when using one.
I have air quality sensor in my house and since we are using air purifier during day sensor doesn’t go above 800 PPM where usually it oscillated between 1000-1200 PPM and occasionally up to 2000 PPM. This is massive improvement. You can not only see it on screen but feel it as well. There is much less dust hovering in house and after cooking smell disappear very quickly. When cooking we are changing for speed 3 to speed up process.
This air purifier is super easy to control thanks to intuitive control panel on top. Not overly complicated. Simply control speed between 1-2-3, set up timer, turn sleep mode on/off. Overall very quiet purifier, doesn’t bother when on even during night. For this price this is great product.
Brillia
Absolutely great device designed for a larger areas.
Quite and efficient, excellent for my ground floor: living room/ dining area and partially separated kitchen. It helps massively to clear the air the same time to improve quality of your sleep. It picks up when the air is not as great has 4 colour indicators when red is the worst. Works with alexa, device is large but because its simple design can be placed nearly everywhere and still looks good. I have a few air purifiers around the house, smaller, bigger, and it does makes a huge difference. I would especially recommend this air purifier for people with allergies. I noticed much better quality of the air in my house. It is pricy but powerful and with superb quality therefore price it is absolutely worth it. Would recommend
great for my master bedroom
Both my wife and I suffer from allergic rhinitis. We definitely need a air purifier in our bedroom during our sleep. Acekool is designed to be powerful enough to work for a big room. My wife switches it on in the morning for 2 hours when she dusts and tidy up the bedroom or when she changes the beddings every week. We also keep it on at the sleep mode during the night. It is very quiet and does not disturb our sleep at all. In fact, the subtle sound it makes is quite calming. It is a smart air purifier which can be controlled with Alexa. We have not used this function yet.
Great product for reducing dust and sinus issues.
First of all in this review, I want to mention that this air purifier is a lot bigger than I was expecting. This is a fairly beefy device, that is taller than some coffee tables.
Now, onto the review itself.
This product was very easy to get going. You don’t necessarily need to link it up to your Google Home or Alexa, as it does have a touch panel on the front, but I did, just so I could control it from the app. I will say that the instruction manual for doing this is a generic one and doesn’t 100% represent how it works on this particular model. You need to tap and hold the power and fan-speed buttons, for it to activate the pairing mode. Then in the app, I had to select what seemed to be the wrong option, but it did connect.
After that, in the app, you can see the general air quality of the space it’s in, set the fan speed and set any potential timers and down-time. Again, you can do most of this from the front-facing touch panel.
When I was setting the product up, I deliberately did a fairly thorough dusting of my room, just so I could see how much dust would settle after having the device running for a few weeks. The answer is honestly very little. I’ve had the device for just under a month now and there’s barely a smattering of dust on things in my room.
Clearly, this product does actually work and works well too. I have certainly noticed that my sinuses are a lot less blocked up as well.
I personally leave it constantly on fan-speed level 1. Anything more than that and it gets incredibly loud. Admittedly, I have it set up in my very small apartment, so other people might have different experiences, but for me, fan-speed 4 is a no-go, it’s like a jet turbine starting up.
I did let it run at level 4 for a while upon initial startup, as it said my apartment had air quality 500 (which is the worst), but anything more than 5 minutes and I just couldn’t stand it.
I also vape in my apartment and it definitely seems vape triggers the air quality sensor. I mention this, because if you leave it on auto-mode while vaping, it will go from fan-speed 1, to fan-speed 4 and back down to 1 every few minutes, which is aggravating to say the least.
Fan-speed 4 is probably only worthwhile if you’re out of the house, or when you’re doing housework (hoovering/dusting), so that whatever gets flung into the air, gets sucked into the device, rather than settling back where you just cleaned.
One of the only other things I can mention is that it does have RGB, for whatever reason that might be. I didn’t find a setting to turn it off, but I cannot say I was necessarily looking for such a setting. I have added pictures that show what the RGB is like in a dark room, it’s just a low-level glow.
The last remaining thing of note is the price. Is it worth the price-tag? If you live in a dusty environment, have pets, have allergies, or just want to be a little more lazy in regards to housework and have the money to spare, this really is a no-brainer.
P.S: You do have to replace the filter every so often, which the app tells you about (for me it says about 6 months), but right now, I can’t seem to find the replacement filters on Amazon, so be warned.
Helps me sleep bette
So I have been toying with the idea of having an air purifier for a long time.
This became available and I have Been excited to use it. On first glance it is bigger than I thought. It’s such a good size.
The instructions are really easy to follow. You need to open it up and unpackage the filer. It fits back in perfectly. The machine it’s self is so easy to open.
It has numerous different settings, it has a timer if like me you worry about leaving things on when you go out no need to worry. It has three different fan speeds all of which are really good. It also has a sleep mode. It’s quieter and you hardly hear it. The panel is touch screen really responsive. Feels amazing quality.
I have used this for around a week now. I definitely feel like my air is more pure. Easier to breathe in. It has also helped massively with my sleeping. I am a new sufferer of hay fever & I am excited to see if this will make a difference in the summer.
Over all really good machine, if you are looking for a Decent size air purifier this is for you. It covers a mass amount of area in your house hold. I have a midsized house and it covers the whole of my house. The panel is of good quality. The machine is good quality. High gloss white, which is sleek and stylish. This can be wiped clean. Small enough to fit in a corner of a room and not notice it’s on. Good fan & fan speed. Really happy with sleep mode and the timer is ideal. Excellent value for money.
Amazing product.
Perfect!
This dehumidifier is absolutely great for winter Illnesses. My son has this next to his bed when he gets poorly and it makes a huge difference, it has helped so much! When our son gets congested with an illness he usually becomes very distraught and can’t sleep, which is no fun for everyone. Thanks to this powerful dehumidifier it has made a great difference, it’s helped with the congestion, giving my son a restful night and get over his illness quicker.
The dehumidifier is very quiet which is perfect when using at night. Very easy to use and multiple controls. Really happy with it.
Very easy to use
This air purifier is very good quality, its quite large but does its job perfectly. It does make a slight noise but nothing that’s too annoying, the sounds of tv really hides it anyway. The hubbys breathing seems to be a lot better, so here’s hoping when the nasty pollen arrives he’ll be able to sit in the living room without the pollen. Its quite an expensive piece of equipment but does a great job, if it works with the pollen I would consider buying another for the bedroom.
Keeps windows clear in the morning
I was having quite a few problems with condensation in the windows of my bedroom in the mornings, this dehumidifier keeps them clear and in the mornings they are either clear or only have a slight bit of condensation left.
The dehumidifier is quiet and doesn’t keep me awake at night, it does act a little bit like a white noise type of sound. The cable is over 1.5 metres which means it comfortably works away from where the plug is in my room. It switches on and off easily but does not have a timer inbuilt like some of the bigger machines. I like how you can also turn the colours on too as this can provide a nice night light.
The machine is light weight so it can moved easily from room to room. The tank is easy to remove and empty, it then just pushes back into place quite easily. This tank holds a good amount of water too so only needs to be emptied every couple of days.
It's been great.
This has been great for what I got it for.
I got it to try out at my father’s house, he’s never home as his job requires him to be away from home for extended periods of time.
His home has developed a musty, moldy smell due to nobody being there to ventilate it.
After using this air purifier in every room, the ait is completely different and that unbearable smell is now completely gone.
So due to this I’ve given it a top rating.
I’ve no idea how to get replacement filters though after this one is used up, but I’m going to just contact the maker directly and ask; once the time comes.
Efficient and quie
This air purifier is compact compared to others – it’s just as tall, but narrower (depth-wise). It doesn’t oscillate, but it doesn’t really need to as it has inlets which filters the air 360 degrees without that.
It copes with purifying the air in large rooms and it’s easy to operate with a straightforward touch panel.
There are three fan speeds and a variable timer (2,4 or 6 hours). It’s quiet to operate, even more so on the lowest fan setting (but the highest setting is certainly not noisy).
The filter is a true HEPA, trapping mould, dust, pollen, smoke etc (make sure you take the front of the purifier off at first use as the filter is in a plastic bag which needs to be removed before use). There’s also an indicator which will tell you when the filter needs replacing.
For a family with various allergies, air quality is really important. We’ve been using this for almost a month now and so far, so good. You can definitely feel the difference and has made things a lot better so far, especially as we’re in a horrible rented house at the moment with a mould problem!
The only thing I can’t work out is the ioniser. From what I can see it comes on bt default and there doesn’t seem to be anything about it in the manual (but I may have missed it).
I’m impressed with this so far and seems a reasonable price compared to others on the market.
Great Air Purifie
As my home is quite close to dual carriageways and the motorways, I thought that this would improve the air in my home and it has worked. The air feels a lot more cleaner than what it did before. It is very easy to use and the instructions are very simple to follow. I can’t say how well it works with alexa but the app is very easy to use as well.
Excellent produc
This air purifier looks and feels like a decent quality product, with excellent quality materials used. It’s a simple design that looks good. All the buttons are of the touch sensitive variety and respond well to presses. Once all the transit tape and packaging are removed, there’s not a lot more needed to do for the set up, simply turn it on, set the desired fan speed and timers as required and you’re good to go.
So far, this device has performed well, with no issues encountered. There is some fan noise, especially when using the higher speed settings, but it’s really not that loud and hasn’t particularly bothered me. Even after a relatively short amount of time using this, I’ve noticed that there are less particles in the air in the room it’s situated in, so it seems to be doing a good job so far.
Overall I’m very happy with this air purifier, recommended.
DECENT AND EASY TO USE
A neat piece of kit that stands some 20.5″ (52cm) high, some 10.5″ (26.7cm) wide and has a power cord length of 72″ (189cm).
The main controls, including a band information light are touch controls and are on the front of the machine. The filter compartment (needs to be renewed approx every 6 months) in in the rear and is easy to access. In use the interior of the machine glows a pleasant blue colour.
The control buttons are Power, wind speed, timer (can be set up to 12 hours) and a child lock button. The band information lights Green for excellent air quality, Blue for good air quality, yellow indicates average air quality and red for poor air quality. These lights relate, as far as I can tell, to the existing quality of the air in the room you are using the machine.
It’s pretty east to use, plug in switch on and if required set the timer but pressing the timer button which then cycles through 1 hr settings. Use is clearly explained in the supplied manual.
Although not heavy it could do with a couple of carrying handles, you can use the indent for the filter on the back but this is not ideal.
Does it work? Not sure as I haven’t been able to use yet in a space where there band light has started at any less than green, even in a kitchen cooking a Sunday lunch. However, I see no reason why not as the air coming out of the top feels slightly cooler in use. I will update this section.
Good air purifier for large areas
This Air Purifier has a good set of features and performs well. It has a control panel with buttons on the front but for full control you need to download an app. Pairing the app is easy but it will only pair using the 2.4MHz WiFi frequency so if your router WiFi is 5GHz you need to change your router settings to 2.4MHz. Once pairs you can switch it back to 5GHz and the app will continue to control the unit.
It has three power levels plus auto and sleep. The Auto setting measures the air quality and adjusts the power level accordingly, increasing it for poor quality air and reducing when the air quality is good. The sleep mode is very quiet, almost silent, and is ideal for using in a bedroom at night.
There is a numeric display on the front representing the quality of air and a light bar just below that changes colour depending on the quality of the air it detects which is a good visual guide. When sleep mode is selected all of the display light are switched off.
Using the App you can set Schedules to automatically turn the unit on and off at particular times of the day.
There are two things that I feel would improve this product:
1. Although, as I said, the sleep mode makes the unit almost silent so great for a bedroom, it has a blue light inside where the fan it that stays on and illuminates the ceiling so if you like your bedroom very dark at night it can be annoying. All of the front display light are switched off when sleep mode is selected so why not this blue light as well?
2. I prefer the Auto mode when it is on during the day so the power level is set automatically according to air quality. However, if I use the scheduler to turn it on at a particular time it always sets itself to manual mode even if the last mode before being switched off is Auto. There needs to be an option to select which mode to start in on schedules or remember the last mode used.
Improving the qualityu of your environme
This air purifier removes 99.7% of air pollutants and therefore should be of great benefit to those who suffer from asthma or have other respiratory problems. I’ve always had a cat or two in my life, but unfortunately their dander can cause me nasal blockages and problems with sneezing. Over the week we’ve been using this – located in the bedroom – this has definitely diminished.
It’s a big unit, but nevertheless the sound it produces in operation isn’t excessive. My wife has noticed improvements in my respiration (When I sneeze, it’s sometimes as loud as a rifle shot!), and has suggested we buy a unit for the sitting and dining rooms also. Unfortunately the cost of buying them, and the running costs, put them outside of our budget at present.
Very quie
Compact air purifier with HEPA filter which can be controlled are usually in my living room when I have my woodburning stove light removed and the fire smell when the fire door is opened it works well and I would recommend i
A good air purifie
This is a good air purifier. It has excellent filtration and works simply and well.
The first thing to say is that it’s quite a big unit. It is designed to clean large rooms, and at about 52cm x 27cm x 27cm you need a fairly large room if it’s not to dominate. It’s quite stylish, though, and looks good.
It is very easy to set up and use. The manual is pretty minimal, but you don’t need a lot of instruction. I operate it from the panel on the unit itself and have not attempted to set up the wi-fi control. The panel is simple and works well; most of the time I just leave it on the Auto setting and it gets on with the job without needing adjustment. It detects air quality and adjusts the air throughput accordingly; for me, it runs on the lowest setting almost all the time and is virtually silent. If the fan speed does increase it becomes progressively noisier and at higher levels I wouldn’t want to be in a room with it for long. However, it can clean a large volume pretty quickly, so putting it on and going somewhere else for a while while it does its stuff is always an option.
The filtration is very high-quality with both HEPA and activated carbon. These should remove almost all particulates like pollen, moulds and cigarette smoke, plus a good many organic chemicals like paint solvent. Obviously, I can’t measure exactly how effective they are, but the effect does seem to be very good.
Overall, then, this is a good unit. It is large and pretty expensive, so you should consider whether you really need such a powerful unit, but if you do I can recommend this.
Brilliant for allergies
My daughter suffers all year with allergies. This is brilliant, she says she can really feel a difference. Very quiet, can use the timer and has sleep mode where is till purifies the air but on a very low setting. A total bargain for allergy sufferers
You won't be disappointed
I’m impressed with this I’m a smoker and did not want my house to smell, so I got this and wow its amazing and really does work its fairly easy to operate with its touch panel you can switch between modes really easily. You have timer options and it’s really quiet when sleep mode is selected I have also noticed a difference in my sleep (for the better).
Comes with 1 filter which needs to be changed around every 6 months and also has a child lock overall I’m impressed and would definitely say its worth the price.
excellent in improving air quality
If you think, you don’t need an air purifier in the house then you’re wrong. It can suck the nasty smells of cooking, cleaning, lighting candles, painting the walls that generate indoor pollution. There are other airborne allergens and irritants like pollen, dust and pet fur that an air purifier can get rid of. The ACEKOOL WIFI Air Purifier model AF2 comes packaged with the instructions manual. The set-up is simple, just plugging into the mains and pressing the buttons on the front to operate.
Whilst there’s no physical remote included, you have the option to download the mobile freeTuya app to operate. Which I feel we did not need, a note to remove the plastic wrap around the filter on initial use.
The control panel and the display on the front are easy to use. You see the wind speed, timer mode, child lock modes. The numbers and air quality indication on the display area. On the lowest setting, the ACEKOOL purifier runs whisper quiet.
Running on auto mode the purifier 400 CADR helps clean 1106 ft in 30 mins. We have the neighbours cooking seeping through our walls and the toddler’s poop stinks the whole house up. The air purifier does a great job of purifying the air within 15 minutes. The distinctive colours display the air quality in real-time. We could see the PM 2.5 air quality colour indicator display change from red to green.
One HEPA filter will last for 6 months which seems like a standard for air purifiers.

Summary: Overall very pleased with the ACEKOOL WIFI Air Purifier unit at 199. It purifies the air and has real-time air quality indicators on the display. Optional mobile app to use as a remote. At the time of review, it is difficult to find the replacement HEPA filters.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Dust and air purifiers are a good choice because it completely changes my life, putting it in every room makes a big difference, you can clearly feel the difference in air quality
Very Efficie
I’m very pleased with this air filter/purifier. It’s extremely simple to use, with a clear control panel. It’s large enough, but compact, and narrower than other filters I’ve tried, which makes it a little easier to position unobtrusively in a room. It’s light and easy to move. It has three fan speeds; the lower two being quite quiet, and the top speed surprisingly powerful. It was simple to set up; just a matter of opening its cover, removing and unwrapping the filter, then reinserting it. It’s fairly basic, but efficient enough to do a really good job, and has the option of adding ions to the airflow. A few years ago I d never have thought an air filter would be such an essential gadget for the home – but these days I’d not like to be without one. Happy to recommend. Five stars.
Large area
Its a very good air purifier, it does large space area in a short amount of time, took about 10-15 minutes to feel a difference as I was breathing, it feels like fresher air kind of like when I switch on a hoover and clean the room for 30 minutes to an hour. That would be the hepa filter as its same in my Henry vacuum cleaner.
Comes with everything you need to start up for the mobile app and instructions, its very quiet on the lowest setting, on the highest its very loud but very powerful. There is colour codes for how dirty the air is, probably a sensor based on how dirty the filter is inside, the numberical on the front is the air quality level, the lower it is the cleaner your air is in the room.
The mobile app is fluent but doesn’t connect to 5G network, so your mobile phone has to be in 2.4g wifi then it will connect to the purifier through the instructions. I picked small home applicances in the app and air purifier.
I do like it and think its great but you can’t add any oil defusers or use it in a room with high humidity like bathrooms and there seems to be no filters for it yet not that I could find, so I can’t give it full marks for many things I wish it had, but its good enough for a 4/5.
Gets rid of mould spores with smart voice control
For a long time i have been living in mouldy conditions that have affected my health. Moving was going to take a while, So i needed a way to get rid of the mould spores before leaving, As it was causing my asthma to flare up. This is quite a large air purifier that can handle cleaning contaminated air in a room up to 1615 ft thanks to the HEPA Filter. This was ideal for both my living room and bedroom area.
For total removal of mould spores, I would recommend keeping it on a high setting initially for about 3 days in each room, Before moving into a maintenance phase of a lower ongoing setting to keep the spores at bay. Of course the most important thing is to find the cause of the mould and get it fixed, But this purifier did take away the spores causing my asthmatic coughing, So it does work well.
It also supports Alexa and Google Assistant, So this can be managed without needing to be anywhere near it, As voice control can be used anywhere in the house to turn it on and change the settings, which comes in handy when i’m in bed and want to change the mode before sleeping.
Compact form factor and portable for controlling moisture build up around the home. I love the simplicity of this dehumidifier, with its one touch operation. Once the button is pressed it switches on and turns blue, and a second press locks in one of the seven led light colours, a third press turns the lights off and a fourth turns the unit completely off. The unit has a transparent 900ml tank with a light indicator that will turn red once full. Very easy to remove the tank and drain the excessive water. Plenty of air vents at the rear of the unit. The dehumidifier is powered via a 9v plug adapter. What I also like is that the dehumidifier is fairly quiet so its perfect for my bedroom.
This something I have always wanted to try and our house can quite humid in certain rooms. I have to say this could not be easier to operate, you plug it in and switch it on, it’s that simple. Each time you press the on button the LED light changes colours and then the last mode is the light off. I really can’t fault it’s ease of use and the light is a little more than for show as it does illuminate the water tank.
As the water from the air goes into the tank it fills up and then you just pull it out, empty it and push back in. I really like the fact that you can take it out and the dehumidifier stops working and then as soon as you put it back in then it starts again. The water compartment comes out in one go with no loose parts or anything like that, it is just one solid container.
So does it work? yes is the answer, the water tank fills up with water from the air, I think this will definitely work better in a smaller room but it works and works pretty well.
It is so simple and easy to operate anyone can do it, when it is on you can hear the fan but it’s fairly quiet, more ambient than intrusive and because the unit is so small it can be hidden away, the chord for the plug is pretty long as well.
It is only a small unit which means it’s easy to move around the house but the downside is that it won’t be as effective for large spaces, however it is well built, looks good and works a treat.
Great purifie
I’m someone who suffers from really bad hayfever. Not just pollen but also dust and humidity around me so I decided to buy this to clear the air in my house!
Its small and portable and good to move from room to room, very lightweight.
I feel this really does help me with my allergies as I feel less effected after using this unit which I personally feel this to me is definitely worth 5*
Not only this unit works but its really super quiet which I leave it on all day without it distracting me during the day or during my sleep.
The filters are great and it says its washable which i havent tried yet as not had this long enough.
I’ve since been content in using a non-electric salt dehumidifier but grew interested in trying an electric dehumidifier like this one to test the difference. Anyone unfamiliar with dehumidifiers, they are a solution to condensation mould- removing moisture from the air in a given space. I am amazed to find this inexpensive, small machine extracts more water than the salt-kind and proves cheaper over the long term!
The dehumidifier comes in a compact size and ready-to-use immediately. I like the design, simple matt white without tackle colours or branding. I thus found this was easy to tuck away on a desk or bedside table. There is no fuss with setup, just a single button gets the fan-powered on, ready to extract water from the environment. While there are some fancy RGB lights on the showcase, fortunately, this can be turned off. Take note, however, the faint blue light cannot be turned off. The button allows you to essentially cycle through three different states- power on, RGB on, power off. Compared to a salt dehumidifier, the main drawback would be the fact this requires power i.e. before bed or during the day.
This electric dehumidifier functions just as desired, quietly doing its job in the background. I was most afraid the fan would be too loud to sleep beside. Fortunately, when the fan is powered, the noise is as quiet as a gentle hum. This ‘low’ power state raised some doubts if this dehumidifier could after all extract enough water. I can gladly say this has continued extracting water throughout the nights this has been on! As the pictures show, the dehumidifier has about 150ml water from just four nights of use. I don’t about you but this is more than the salt dehumidifier I was previously using. Impressively, this can hold up 900ml water so it will be a while until it needs emptying. Best yet, you just empty the water and continue using, no filters or replacements required!
The only key feature this dehumidifier appears to be missing is a timer function. I cannot express enough how useful it would have been to set this for a set amount of hours and have it turn off automatically than remembering to do this every morning. Nonetheless, for this price, I cannot complain much more, this is a real working dehumidifier.
Good compact size and filtration. Panel is loose though
This is a reasonably compact, XL-room covering air purifier with HePA filtration.
Despite the large filtering size, with a full size multi-stage panel filter on the back, this is relatively compact and is smaller overall than our other branded one.
This is, in essence, a large fan in a box with a panel filter. Price-wise, it’s a lot more expensive than many other comparable ones and doesn’t really offer anything extra over them.
This does work. We actually prefer filters to fans in the summer as they blast air upwards and help circulate the air better to keep cool. This has 3 speed settings. The first is virtually silent and it gets a little louder, but bearable, by speed 3.
There are timer and night mode functions, with touch sensitive buttons on the panel.
My reason to drop 1 star relates to the back panel filter cover. This is tricky to keep in place and drips out with the slightest of knocks. The manufacturer has put the handles right next to the cover, so catch your hand when lifting and the panel falls off. I’ll bee putting a bit of tape each side near the top when we use this later in the year. Should our dog knock it, the filter will be out and chewed.
The filter does seem to help cut down smells from our dog and the design will be perfect to help reduce dust and pollen later in the year.
Really effective
This has been seeing some use in getting rid of cooking smells around the kitchen, and it’s surprisingly effective. It needs to run for a couple of hours, but is nearly silent on fan level 1 and is very unobtrusive. The only complaint I have is that the ioniser function has no power indicator light -oddly, as all the other settings do- so if you play with the button, you have no idea if it’s still on or not short of pulling the plug and restarting (it’s on by default). There are also adjunct uses now we have covid around, and that’s harder to comment upon. However, if it’s as effective as it is in removing odours, it’s worth considering.
Picking up way more dust and cat hairs than I expected.
If there’s one thing that I cannot stand about being a pet owner, it’s their fur shedding. The amount of times I end up breathing in a stray cat hair and then spending an hour trying to fish it out is unprecedented.
So far this air purifier has surpassed my expectations. I was expecting it to be more of a pointless device but I have to say the amount of car hair and dust it has already picked up is actually quite surprising. With the device on power setting 2 and 3 you can visually see dust and fur getting pulled towards it from quite far over the room, This is then sucked into the filter and clean air passed through the outlet.
The power settings are somewhat varied; Setting 1 is very quiet but takes a while to work. number 2 is somewhat inbetween and doesn’t take very long to work, you can start to see this happening visually at this setting. Number 3 is extremely powerful, on this setting it is quite loud but can be seen working easily from the other side of the room if you can see the dust in sunlight.
An example of this device’s function is as follows; Turn it on, it will immediately start dragging dust and other particles into the filter at the back, it then blows this air back out nice and clean without dust particles in it. I currently have my dryer on and it visibly pulls in the lint from the air and it gets trapped in the filter.
The sleep function is pretty good, it’s extremely quiet and doesn’t disturb sleep in the slightest..
This also has a timer function for 2, 4 and 6 hours so it can be left on while you go out or are doing other stuff. If none of the timer functions are set, this will then work continuously for an indefinite amount of time.
I have to say that since using this I have noticed much less cat fur randomly appearing on my clothes and I think this is more than likely going to be an item that’s left on every day. It even circulates the air around the room nicely, which will be nice in the summer months when there’s no draft through the house.
I am excited to try this out in the summer to see how effective it will be in helping out with hayfever as this also traps pollen which theoretically should help any sufferers symptoms.
So far it has been a great product and I am looking forwards to seeing how this thing gets on in the future. I shall update this in a couple of months time when I’ve seen how it does in the long term. May even include a picture of the dust in the filter if I feel there’s a considerable amount.
Definitely earning its 5 star rating at the moment.
Simple and intuitive to use
This little dehumidifier is has a one button operation that is very simple and intuitive to use. You press the play button to turn it on and it scrolls through the colours, press it again to choose a colour to stick to, press it again and the light goes off and then you press it for a final time to turn it off completely; and it’s as simple as that! It has a power cord that plugs into the side of it and has a UK plug on the other end. You can hear it but it’s pretty quiet, it’s a calming noise rather than an annoying one.
It is easily portable, if you want to move it from room to room, but I have a big one in my hall and a big one on my bathroom, so this is going to stay in the dining room in front of the patio door as it tends to get some condensation on it and it’s getting more and more difficult for hubby to move the big one around as we get older, so this is ideal for us for an extra one. We have found that our bills are lower when we remove the stone cold damp air and don’t have to warm that up, so they do tend to pay for themselves as well as making the environment more pleasant to move around in. If you feel warm enough when you are still but feel like you are walking through ice droplets when you move around then you absolutely need a dehumidifier.
I can’t fault this one, it’s a good price if you just want to dip your toe in the water to see if a dehumidifier helps you, or just as an extra one so you don’t have to keep moving your big one around as much.
