    Best lawnmower we’ve ever owned
It’s a dream to use and so quiet our son can mow the lawn and listen to his music with his iPods which he commented on was great, so it’s a winner all round.

Liberated from trailing electric cord means lawn gets mowed
Quite good machine. Seven cutting heights. Lightweight and easy to manouevre. Gives reasonable stripey finish. Does three different lawns on 1.1/2 2aH batteries. Trick handle compresses and folds to make small package. Recommended.

Does what it says on the tin.
Had the previous model which broke. The mower has defo improved, but I would have kept the hard grassbox if it were compatible, as the new mesh one get a bit fidgety when full. Saying that, if packing away space is of a premium to you, the mesh one now folds flattish and the new mower handles also now easily fold. The footprint is basically the mower itself. Light enough to go on a shelf if you have one wide enough. The size of our garden is much larger than suggested for this package, but we have the extra batteries and a quickcharger from our last one which are compatible.

    Does a good job
Bought to replace a previous Bosch whose batteries had died after more than 12 years use. Decided to stick with the same brand. Am pleased with this; it was easy to use and does a good job.

    BATTERY OPERATED BOCH LAWNMOWER
Used once, the cup was superb, even if the grass was a little wet.

    Quite impressed this far.

Although I charged both batteries at first, I felt the first one BURNT out quickly, but then again, I hardly took my fingers off the on/off button, so that might have sommmit to do with it!

Outside o’ that, I felt it’s a great purchase so far!

Pricey but worth it for larger spaces
like everything about this mower – very easy to use despite our uneven lawn. Battery life is short – we get about 30mins from each battery so that is an hours mowing. They only take about one hour to fully recharge

Great lawn mower - grass collector could do with improveme
This is a great lawn mower. Does stripes (not as good as my old heavy petrol mower but I can’t complain as its impossible to get anything better with such a lightweight mower). I would say my lawn is medium size so I thought this mower would be overkill on the battery size but once I’m done there is 1/3 bars lit up on the battery so I’m using more then I expected. Obviously it depends how long and thick the grass is and if its wet. I’ve done one cut with the grass fairly wet and it worked really well. My only bug bear is the grass collector. The design needs to be improved. The full indicator goes from black to grey when it’s full. I have to try and remember what colour I’m looking for everytime and when I first used it I thought grey meant it wasn’t full so I had grass everywhere. It would work better if it was red and green or even the darker colour meaning its full. It goes against natural instincts. The opening at the top of the collector is annoying too because when you lift it up grass falls out and onto your hand. Setting it up was confusing as there was no click and the arms at either side seem to stay bent but they look like they should go straight. Also the grass gets stuck in behind the arms. It would be better as a rigid bucket rather then fabric at the bottom.

All that was expected and more.
Amazon offer price was best available. Arrived as scheduled. Very easy to assemble. Used in first week to mow lawn and pick up leaves, both first class performance. So far, extremely pleased with purchase and freedom from cables.

    Excellent just need more batteries
Purchased on prime day with the 50% off deal.

This is an excellent mower, lightweight, quiet and cuts very well, including longer grass.

    Leaves nice stripes too.

It’s so lightweight, you really don’t require any effort to push.

I thought I’d be fine with the two batteries supplied, but I obviously needed three for my size, so perhaps be prepared that you need another battery and they are expensive!

    Great cut, not too noisy
Didn’t really need any assembly, cuts nicely. Battery lasts easily long enough to do my lawn (which is only about 5x10m) more than once. Like the way you change the height of cut too, would like to to cut a little shorter, I usually use it on the min level, or one up from that which I think should be 25 or 30mm but it seems a bit longer than that. Got a good deal on prime day, seems quite steep at full price. I moved across from a petrol mower with the same length blade and this is just as good, no issues with power etc, even when we got back from holiday and the grass had got quite long!

    Who needs electric cables?
This mower is actually more powerful than the Bosch electric mower I was using previously. Having 2 batteries included was a great idea.

But the biggest advantages are not having an cables to get tied up on and it is so quiet too.

    Good desig
Bought this for a mid size garden. Light, practical and easy to use! Would recommend but struggles a bit on thicker grass (newly laid turf so we’re growing it out).

    Good value
great mower, worth paying the extra for. Powerful, cuts well and a nice large collecting bin. Easy to use, no major assembly just pull handles up and click and ready to go, when batteries are charged of course.

    Great lawnmowe
I have been mowing for years with a old petrol Atco cylinder mower, so I got this as I need to move with the time and go electric.

I am super pleased with the results, the strips aren’t as good as the atco butbtge quality of the cut is amazing and it’s so quite my dog doesn’t even bark at it.

I would recommend this to anybody I know.

    Nice machine!
Easy to assemble and use. Good battery life and fully recharged in just over an hour. The rear roller makes nice stripes too!
4 stars given because it doesn’t cut as short as our last corded Bosch and looks a bit plasticky – but overall very pleased with it!

    Happy so far!
Easy to set up out the box and was cutting as soon as I had the battery fully charged. No cable makes life so much easier and the 2 batteries supplied give me the flexibility I need. Medium sized lawns but managed front and back easily. Ordered specifically as wanted rear roller for stripes on the lawn. Found it very easy to manoeuvre as well which I was a little concerned about having read some reviews. Not the cheapest but having had a corded Bosch previously I was happy to stick with the brand.

    Absolutely fine
A lightweight easy to manoeuvre mower. Batteries manage my lawns although the maximum of 660m is probably under optimal conditions. Decent stripes. I don’t understand comments about difficulty assembling grass box, it was easy. Similarly comments about difficulty with battery compartment and battery insertion didn’t apply to me.

    So easy!
Oh the joy of mowing without a cable in the way, Wonderfully light weight and super easy to assemble unlike previous models where the grass box to me nearly an hour to put together. Only problem (hence the 4 stars), is the grass box arrived incomplete, missing the plastic hinges on the sides and as a result grass and leaves blow out from the sides and the holes in the bottom, not helpful! I have contacted Bosch and they will be sending me a replacement box WHEN they are back in stock.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSuperb mower - cordless is the future
*EDIT START* – my verdict still stands in general but the battery does have an indicator of how much charge is left, by pressing a button on the front of the battery. However after a year of use I would add some caution on battery power and how capable it is with bigger lawns. If the grass is long and/or wet then your batteries will drain much faster, and possibly stop due to the temperature limit of the battery reaching it’s maximum threshold. The battery temperature issue was more prevalent this year on damper and longer grass as the spring/summer weather wasn’t as dry as in 2020 when the original review was written. When the battery temperature threshold is reached the mower will stop and you will have to wait for the battery to cool before charging. I would also now say the battery takes around an hour to charge at best. It’s still very good BUT I would advise a 3rd battery, either the 2Ah or a single 4Ah version. That way you can keep one on charge , one charged ready to go, and one in the mower and rotate as required. This way you should never be without at least one charged battery, whereas with just 2 you could find like me, that you have one on charge, the other needing charge and the ability to charge delayed by the dreaded ‘red light’ temperature warning. I will buy the 3rd battery asap *EDIT END*

This mower is superb. A proper quality product as you might expect from Bosch. It is easy to assemble (less than 15 minutes I would say), it is lightweight and you can easily carry it by the handle from front to back garden if needed. It folds up very compactly, the grass box is easily detachable as well. I bought the mulching kit as well and this really works well for mulching the grass into smaller bits and putting back into the lawn. Height setting is one-touch and couldn’t be easier. The blade is pre-fitted and I think would last quite a while. It is not self propelled and I thought this might be an issue as my previous lawnmower was a petrol self propelled one. However, this is so much lighter that pushing it is really easy and turning ti as well. it has a roller for the striped effect which also works well. Setting the handlebar element is easy and just a click or two to get to the right height and angle. They really have though of everything with this machine. Now…the batteries. You get two plus the charger. I reckon it’s an hour at most for each battery to charge from empty to full, they are 36v Li-Ion and even at 2.0Ah you will get around 40-45 minutes constant mowing. One thing I have learned is that unlike the petrol mower i can stop and start with ease instead of keeping the engine running to save the start procedure. I can easily for both front and back lawns with both batteries, and my back garden is around 50 metres long with about 250sq.m of lawn to tackle. One more thing, this thing is VERY quiet…not much louder than a a vacuum cleaner and much much quieter than the petrol mower. One last thing ….no servicing required! During the winter you can charge the batteries and store them, clean the blade and chassis, fold it up and store knowing it will be ready to go in spring with no air filters/plugs or carbs and cables to check. it might seem expensive but it’s worth every penny.
