Beautiful Jug
This arrived as stated, packaged well and good delivery driver. I don’t usually buy jug Kettles but bought to match the toaster. This looks beautiful on my worktop. I love the stay warm feature and the quick cup boil. I’ve yet to use all the features but so far so good. Would recommend

The kettle ticks all the boxes for me. aesthetically pleasing, quite (as much as a kettle can be) and easy to use and clean.
My original purchase however didnt last a full year (screen began to fail) but thankfully was replaced under warranty by Amazon.
So, a happy purchase. We can’t always be assured that the product we receive will stand the test of time but knowing it can be replaced, with relative ease, is one less concern.
Great piece of equipme
Had this for several months now and am very pleased with the product.
Temperature controls work well, with more functions available than I actually use.
The kettle looks good, does not show finger prints etc, and mostly wipes clean with a damp cloth.

I have had my kettle for a few weeks now and I so far I am happy with it. It is an attractive sturdy kettle. I do love how it shows the temperature which makes it different from all other kettles. My only problem with this kettle is that the lid doesn’t open wide enough, shame as otherwise this is a nicely designed. The temperature control is great if you are pretentious enough to have tea that insists on different steeping temperatures.

We use filter water for boiling however aeg kettle has flat weld point on spout and this is a trap for hard water residue and needs constant cleaning even though we use filters on cold supply.My previously used AEG kettle was much better as regards spout design.

Sleek Kettle of a Tea Love
I’m a tea connoisseur and was looking for a nice kettle that allows you to select different temperatures for different types of teas.
I have settled for this because it was the nicest design that had a base I could find. Over 2 years on I still have it and it still works very well. The great things about it are
– 8 temperature settings
– made of stainless steel as opposed to plastic
– easy to maintain
– boils water fast
– looks amazing!
The two downsides I would say are
– the beep noise is quite loud when you press the buttons to switch between settings
– the release button for the lid can be temperamental and sometimes it doesn’t immediately release the lid and you have to press again harder, this started happening after about 2 years of usage
I’d say overall I’m very happy with the purchase and hoping it will last a few more years!

This is a great kettle. It has several options to adjust the temperature for your desired beverage. There is no ‘funny’ taste from the kettle. I like the ‘speed boil’ which boils 250ml water in under 60 secs. Its quite flash too…

You can set the temperature you want fromm 100 deg c decreasing by 5 degrees to 70 degs then 10 deg increments to 50. Not noticed any odd flavours and it is easy to clean.

I love that I control how hot the water should be, dependent on the beverage, I.e black tea at 100c, fresh coffee 80c and so forth. I also love how it can keep the water at the set temperature until I use it.

Absolutely love it use one cup button a lot , love how it stays warm and often can reuse without having to press the start button again . So quiet I actually allow my hubby to make a cuppa when I am watching the tv . My previous kettle was so noisy I banned him from putting it on at the crucial point of my viewing. Love the look and everything about it . Best Buy I have made for years .

Brilliant product. I saw this in a guest house we stayed in and like it so much I bought my own! The temperatures are preset for various teas and coffee etc or you can just select 100 degrees for boiling water. Turbo function is very handy for one cup too.

Setup app is not great.
The product is great from a look and feel. My issues were with setup and the app – when setting up the screen asking for Wi-fi password would not let me enter one so I assumed it was preset. 4 hours later … finally got setup but the app needs to improve. Google home has disconnected/ can’t find it every time I ask but Alexa works fine. It’s handy and the loud beep does get annoying after a few boils. I can recommend but remember this only can be setup on a 2.4 ghz network (painful if most of you network is synced etc). Have fu

Quick boil, exceptional pou
The best kettle I’ve had. Pours beautifully. Boils quickly. 1.7L is plenty. Looks good. Bonus choice of water temperature for posh teas. Keep warm function which I haven’t used but sounds handy. Three beeps when it’s boiled – not intrusive. Very easy to see water indicator. Only potential improvement would be a ‘one cup’ fill line as it has a rapid boil, but you can guess that around 250-300ml would do the job.
Good kettle at a food price.
The only pain is having to cycle through the preset temperatures when you want to change from say 95 to 100.

Love the kettle. But very disappointed that I can’t control it digitally. I had hoped that I could integrate this with alexa etc but no such luck! Even using alexa plugs this still doesn’t work effectively. You need to have the kettle “on” so that yiu can switch it on.
Apart from this lovely item. Just wish I had known it wouldn’t quite work as expected 🙁
Great Kettle with a wide range of temperature settings
If you need a kettle with a range of temperatures, then this item should suit. 8 different temperature settings at 100, 95, 90, 85, 80, 70, 60 and 50 degC. I particularly like the 50 and 60 degC settings for heating water to a temperature for hand washing special glasses etc.

This is beautiful. It is a good size and weight.
The temperature is easy to set and not too noisy for boiling.
The two niggles I have are the temperature gauge is behind the handle and the beeps at the end of boiling.
Early morning the beeps seem very loud. It’s not enough to spoil what is a lovely kettle and overall this is a good kettle that looks smart on the work surface and functions as it should
I love it!!! For clarity in 1st picture I am pointing to the kettle to show you the kettle. Picture 2 shows a very satisfied thumbs up. Picture 3 is to prove beyond doubt this kettle does not resemble Penne pasta and therefore cant cause culinary confusion, afterall we dont want fatties munching the kettle and not a cheeky wee pasta snack!

It is stylish and I love the alarm when ready. It is useful if you get distracted and you can also keep it warm. It is great for filling hot water bottle and for coffee as you can set the required temperature. Just great.
Heats quickly
Only thing I thought wrong was the water level glass on the side. It was not clear where the water is without peering very hard. Other than that it’s a good kettle, lots of little added features such as one cup turbo (and it is turbo), keep warm and various preset programmes. Looks good too.

A great desig
This is a great kettle but it is to replace the same one which stopped working correctly after about a year. Amazon were great in arranging a replacement as it was within the 2 year warranty.

Nice kettle.
This replaced a Bosch’s double walled kettle, colour matched to my kitchen, the AEG has grown on me as initially as I thought it would clash with the kitchen colours, very classy piece of kit, it’s only single walled so can get hot, the upside is a greater water capacity. I hope it lasts as long as the Bosch.
Stylish product. Had one before. Unsure if the thermometer works though as boils for a little too long before switching off. Looks great though. Love the 1 cup turbo blast…. great for a single cuppa in a rush!
Improve your tea with this kettle.
This is a good kettle if you like to have your tea at the corrcet temperature. Having it made at the correct temperature changes the flavour for the better. I now drink black and green teas that i disliked before.

Very stylish and easy to use, controllable temperature, quick boil facility and useful to see what temperature of the water post boil.
It’s not always easy to see the water level when the kettle is not in use, once switched on the level gauge is illuminated and very clear, this is only a minor issue in poor light.
Brilliant kettle with great temp control.
This kettle is excellent. We’ve been through two others in just over a year and decided to invest in this. It looks great, is lightweight to lift and the preset temperature settings are really useful, as is the temperature display.
Not insulated
Looks good but this is not insulated so do not touch when hot. For the price I would have expected the outer wall to remain cooler. Otherwise great item.

brilliant kettle
I have had my fair share of awful kettles over the years and some are better than others. I purposely waited until now to post this review as I have now been using it for a few months. I took ages deciding on this particular model and I am pleased with it. It looks nice and fancy and it works as expected. It isn’t too noisy which for me is important.
I will update this review again in a few months but for now I am very pleased with it.

Great kettle
I bought this to be able to make tea with finesse. Having the right tempreture is important for green tea. The right tempreture gives the right taste and colour. You can boil water to set tempretures as low as 80 C for green tea, 85C for normal tea, 90C oolong tea & 95C for coffee. It also does 100C that all other kettles do. Well worth the buy for improved tea and coffee taste.

I have had several temperature controlled kettles all of which failed for one reason or another. I decided to go for a more expensive version and must say that I like the styling and the controls are easy to use, my only reservation is the plastic lid – i have had these on previous kettles and they have proved to be a weak point. But so far so good

I bought this kettle as a replacement for a broken temperature controlled kettle in March 2018. Reading the reviews at the time I thought I was taking a risk, but as it was on offer at 45 I thought I’d give it a go. It’s now the end of July 2018 and I still think I did really well on this purchase. It looks lovely, is simple to use and heats water quickly. The price may have gone up, but having tried it I would still buy it.

Smart Kettle - Perfect for making my matcha green tea (I can set the kettle to heat to 60 degrees C)
I love the fact that I can set the kettle to heat the water to EXACTLY 60 degrees Celcius (not boiling point), which is the PERFECT temperature to brew matcha tea (I use DOCTOR KING Finest Ceremonial Grade Organic Japanese Matcha – Ceremonial GRADE AAA, which is the BEST matcha available in the U.K. ). The highest quality matcha is very delicate and, therefore, is brewed at a lower temperature.
The product screams quality and looks classy.

I got this kettle when it dropped to a low price, up until then I had though it was a bit over priced. It is the best kettle I have used in years and actually I would have bought it at its normal price now that I have used it. My previous kettle was quite good but it never felt like a quality product. This kettle is great to use in all ways and also looks smart. Not sure about durability, especially as a few reviews mention a weak lid mechanism but so far so good.
Having read the reviews I almost didn’t buy it. However, it was a gift for my mother who remains delighted. She does not recognise the issues others complained about: It pours perfectly well and is an appreciated gift. I used it myself at the weekend and could not find the ‘faults’ some reviews reported.

Well well well, a great kettle. Better than expectations. The preset capability of the thermostat is excellent, and visibly saves money? Example when making coffee, it is not necessary or desirable to boil the water, the preset capability cuts out at whatever setting you have chosen, and saves money, obviously. But also you do not burn your coffee flavours. It is also great when using herb teas because they also benefit by not overheating the leaves. So a 10% cut on the heating time via the thermostat must save 10% on your heating cost. Making Ten herbal teas therefore gives a 100% saving or “one in ten heating for free? Over a few years this will virtually pay for the kettle….Just basic maths used here. Great product Thankyou. RDR

Wasn’t sure what to expect after reading reviews. But I am very pleased to say that I absolutely love this kettle. I am forever walking away from the kettle when boiling, so pleased when it beeps after boiling. Great one cup turbo function. Can fill from the spout without opening the lid. Purchased to replace a not so old expensive kettle. Love the style & design. Never thought I needed a kettle with a different temperature but apparently I do now I’ve used it.
It doesn’t boil any quicker than my previous kettle, nor is it any quieter, I’d say, it’s actually noisier than my last one. I do like the 3 bleeps to alert me that it has reached the desired temperature.
The “keep warm” function is ideal for me especially at 6am when I have a couple of cups of tea to get me awake. Fabulous, trusted brand, great designed kettle at a fantastic price!
***UPDATE***
This kettle began to play up last week. The digital screen on the base began to flash on & off intermittently resulting in a hit & miss boil.
Today, it has finally given up. I changed the fuse in the plug & still nothing! So I’d to use my microwave which yeah, I still had my drink but its an inconvenience.
So thankfully, the kettle is apparently guaranteed for 2 years so my next step is to figure out who I return it to.
Would I recommend this kettle, I’d say yes if you’re the type of person who changes their appliances yearly if not, choose something else.
***ANOTHER UPDATE*** : contacted Amazon regarding returning the no longer working kettle.
I was told I had to print off a returns form – I have no printer.
I then have to physically take it to a post office.
I informed them that I am house boung most of the time & need to rely on others
I asked if they could send a returns form out to me especially as I spend enough on Amazon.
Of course then couldn’t but it was worth asking!
That’s where our communication broke down. There was nothing they could do to help me.
So I’m stuck with an overpriced, knackered kettle. That’s still in its box ready to be returned to one of those huge Amazon warehouse somewhere in the country.
Customer Service = non existent
Amazon Customer = fed up!
Purchased to replace a not so old expensive kettle. Love the style & design. Never thought I needed a kettle with a different temperature but apparently I do now I’ve used it.
It doesn’t boil any quicker than my previous kettle, nor is it any quieter, I’d say, it’s actually noisier than my last one. I do like the 3 bleeps to alert me that it has reached the desired temperature.
The “keep warm” function is ideal for me especially at 6am when I have a couple of cups of tea to get me awake. Fabulous, trusted brand, great designed kettle at a fantastic price!
***UPDATE***
This kettle began to play up last week. The digital screen on the base began to flash on & off intermittently resulting in a hit & miss boil.
Today, it has finally given up. I changed the fuse in the plug & still nothing! So I’d to use my microwave which yeah, I still had my drink but its an inconvenience.
So thankfully, the kettle is apparently guaranteed for 2 years so my next step is to figure out who I return it to.

Taste the difference!
Speciality teas and coffee have never tasted as good as this now that the correct temperature is being used with no more guess work on getting to the right temperature. Everything about this kettle, the presets, keep warm, turbo one-cup and alarm features are great. I have had the product one month, although early days, it has been used extensively every day and works a treat. I wholeheartedly recommend this product.
Other than that nice kettle.
As noted elsewhere the bleeps are rather loud, no chance of a quite brew in middle of night. Other than that nice kettle.
Good looking kettle and great tasting hot drinks.
It makes such a difference to green and herbal tea that the water is at the correct temperature. When I fist used the kettle for green tea the water looked murky at first, but once it was ready to drink the tea looked lovely. There has been comments about the hinge for the lid being fragile. I would say the hinge works fine and anyway most of the time I fill the kettle from the spout. Work the extra money. Well built and looks good.
Expensive but good quality
For a kettle you have to admit its a bit pricey, after all it just boils water! That said,in the main, it is a well designed bit of kit with temperature indicator /control for different brews and a keep warm facility. If I have a negative comment I would suggest the water level window is in the wrong place – tucked behind the handle, so when you fill it you can’t really make use of the facility. That said it is a quality product and I would buy it again.
