Great Value for Money!
This purchase was made with view to being able to take pictures and videos while snorkling and cycling while on holiday.
I am not the most technical person, but found the camera easy to use.
Numerous accessories ensured that I was able to use the camera while engaging in a number of activities during the day and night.
I am happy with this purchase and will undoubtedly be using the camera both while at home or abroad!
Great inexpensive optio
I like the camera alot.
I use it mounted to the front of my ebike with the waterproof case.
Day time quality is fantastic.
Night time quality suffers alot but can still see enough for safety/accident recording etc
the camera design is nice
battery life seems decent (you get 2 of them)
I love the touch screen more than I thought I would. really responsive.
easy to use.
quite a few options and recording modes etc
such a fair price for a good action camera.
EIS seems reasonable and does a good job if you need it.
Very portable miniature camera for adventure holidays.
This product was purchased for a tropical archipelago adventure in the Indian Ocean which will involve much snorkelling and kayaking. It was important to keep costs to a minimum as I have no need for regular adventure camera beyond this trip and this new item was comparable in price to a used GoPro. However, it isn’t really possible to be certain of a used device how it was treated or indeed whether it would begin to fail at 7 or 8 metres deep in the sea. Repeating the trip because of a camera failure was not an option.
Great value for money
This product is great value for money, great picture quality
was really quick coming
he camera is really small and slim which is really good, i didnt want it to be bulky
Great little camera
For the price this is a great camera. Image quality is good and it has some really useful functions. Only minor issue is that the clamp for attaching to a tube ( like bike handle bars) only allows orientation of the camera in one way. Therefore when on handlebars it points sideways. In my opinion not enough to reduce the 5star rating but worth knowing
Absolute bargai
After looking at loads of reviews, decided to buy this camera and was not disappointed the reviews are correct.
Easy to use and set up pictures and videos are amazing
Great little camera
Perfect for general recording or for anyone with a motorcycle, I’ve attached mine to my helmet and get a great footage, although I would suggest playing about with the settings to get best results. Battery life is also grea
So impressed with this camera !!!
For the price this camera is amazing !! Used it whilst paddle boarding and the footage is awesome !! Loads of lots comes with it and easy to use
Great little camera for holiday!
This camera was fab on holiday & allowed us to capture lots of videos whilst snorkeling at the resort, including my hubby swimming with a turtle – any wobble in the footage is his swimming & lack of tech skills…. he nearly didn’t capture it at all!!!
Simple navigation between the video & picture settings. The App isn’t anything amazing and could do with improvement but as far as downloading our content, which is all we needed if for, it was simple & worked well.
I had assumed the accessory clip would be compatible with the GoPro accessories but it’s a different connector, which is a shame, but luckily we had one we could switch over easily enough – I had read so many reviews ahead of buying this camera that I think my brain was scrambled, so my bad!
We got lots of accessories with the camera, so that was a bonus.
The only negative we experienced was that the screen goes to sleep after 30secs or so of filming and so you just have to tap the record button again to wake up the screen – there may even be a setting but I’ve not actually looked yet and so don’t let this put you off. It’s probably a battery saving mode. On that note, we took one battery out each day & simply charged it overnight. It was nice having the option of a 2nd battery & if we had gone on a proper snorkeling trip then we would have taken both with us but for our snorkeling on the beach each day, the battery lasted.
The picture & video quality looks great on my iPhone but we’ve not viewed it on a larger screen yet – we might not even do that as we tend to have shared albums on our phones.
Overall, this is a great alternative to the more expensive options, especially for holiday usage & we’re really pleased with our purchase!
Great camera for the price poi
Does what it says on the tin, great camera that’s easy to use for a very good price
Excellent purchase
Great product, lots of accessories with the camera. Very impressed with the videos and photos I’ve taken so far. The bike handlebar mount is the only thing I’d change, I had to buy a different mount to suit modern road bars and seatpost the one provided was too small. Very happy with my purchase.
Great little camera
Great little camera for taking on holiday for some snorkelling shots.
The only thing I didn’t like was I couldn’t change it from video to still photo when in the waterproof casing. Otherwise easy to use and transfer images to iPhone.
Akaso V50X Very happy with the camera.
The camera is brilliant for the money and I’m very happy with it.
I use it for when we are out cycling which is a mixture of road riding and some off road riding.
Image stabilisation is on par with my Daughter’s GoPro8 and the quality of the 4k is also as good.
The mounts are excellent I have one mount on the handlebar and I also have a chest mount that was bought separate but used the Akaso mounts that came in the box.
I do cycle in the dark also and the camera does work well at night.
There are street lights where I am cycling and have uploaded night footage onto the PC.
Being able to choose between different resolutions is very handy for battery life, I normally use 2k at 60fps and that’s fine for what I need.
Battery life is pretty good not had a problem there.
Being able to use mounts from other action cameras is also very handy.
I did watch some reviews before purchasing this camera and for the money it’s a great and handy little camera.
I am yet to test out the driving mode but I’m getting a dashcam mount for the Akaso.
Having driving mode was one of the reasons for buying this model.
Excellent quality camera
Bought instead of a go pro and very happy with the results!
Excellent Camera
Excellent camera for a really good price. Very happy with purchase. I’m using it for Cycle commuting.
Great camera for my cycle helme
Good design and features. Good price
Battery life not perfect but decent if you don’t need the full 4k resolution
Decent number of accessories
Works well on my bike helme
V.GOOD
I have not used this camcorder underwater and I don’t think that I will but other than that it dose, for me every thing that’s on the box, well made and just the right price…C.G.
Good camera at an affordable price
Image stabilisation is very good for the price, poor in low light, comes with 2 batteries that charge via micro usb, batteries last at least 30 mins, can charge and use, have to get a waterproof cast separate but it worked. Great customer service when my product was faulty had a new one arrive within a couple of days.
Great quality and value for money
The camera came in good time and was well packed. Unpacking and setting up the camera is very easy. The attachment kit supplied seems to cover most eventualities. I bought the camera to use mostly for my motorcycling but now having seen and tried the camera I think I will be using it a lot more for other uses as well. I’m very pleased that I chose the AKASO V50 X rather than paying far more for no apparent benefit.
Really great for the money
I was looking to get a wearable camera that I could record some of the walks I have with my dog, I tried a simple body cam that had no image stabilisation and it was awful. I looked at what was out there and saw the usueal GoPro offerings for serious amounts of money, then found this camera. Is it amazing? No! Is it amazing for the money? Yes! The image stabilisation is OK in reasonable light, but struggles and starts to shake in low light or very contrasty light.
In short, it doesn’t compare well with the more expensive cameras, but given this is about a third the price of a GoPro Hero, and I’m not doing intense action shooting I can live with the slightly lower performance image stabilisation.
I was also impressed with the accessories that came with the camera, with the GoPro options, you have to buy most of it separately.
Last comment is about battery life, I’d like more, but wouldn’t we all? It lasts about 1.5 hours of continuous use with wifi on connected to a phone. Ideally for the length of walks I take, it needs to last twice that, thankfully it comes with two batteries, which is handy.
Enjoying using this so fa
The camera’s working well so far as did the waterproof case, the quality of the underwater videos impressed me and I’m looking forward to using this while skiing too!
Good quality for this price
Very competitive product, there are so many of similar products, but AKASO is the real GOPRO alternative. If you think GOPRO is so over priced, AKASO will give you balanced price and quality.
Remember to tighten the screw on the remote control, just in case water getting in.
Overall, AKASO is a very good alternative to the over priced GOPRO.
Overall great camera for the price
Great little camera for the price with numerous attachments included. The body etc feels sturdy and well made.
Things that could improve it would be different noises when starting and stopping video recording when you’ve got it stuck on your head or anywhere you can’t observe the camera itself.
This is my first action cam so I can’t compare it that well. But I’m happy with it.
Great alternative to the go pro
I purchased this for a holiday not expecting too much but I was surprised. It’s a fantastic little camera and down everything I needed it to. I read the reviews before hand as well and agree with them, for a budget camera (compared to the big brand named ones) it is perfect. The app worked fine as well for editing. Can’t complai
Great little camera for on a budge
I ordered this camera as a last minute purchase for my trip and was very impressed with it! It took amazing pictures and videos and worked exactly as it should! The only slight thing was that the battery doesn’t last too long but with two battery packs it’s easy to switch them out when out of the water. Overall a fab little camera though!
Great and affordable camera with all the accessories.
Everything is perfect. Used on holiday in the ocean and it performed as expected
Brilliant little camera
Did quite a lot of research on small action cameras prior to purchasing and I’m not disappointed with the Akaso v50x, the image stability is brilliant, being a runner who wanted to record my runs, the camera offers clear 4k filming, looking forward to trying it with the waterproof case next month whilst on holiday..the batteries are pretty good 2 lasting a full weekend, the accessories that come with the camera are fantastic everything you need.
Great action camera for the price.
Brought this for paddle boarding, very easy to use, great pics and video. Love the remote control shame it isn’t fully waterproof.
Brilliant for the price range, not without its faults but that's more than fai
Pretty much the title, fair price for a solid piece of kit. Works well for scuba diving, not used it for much else. Battery life on the short side but that’s OK for what I use it for. Controls take getting used to. Still 100% worth it if you feel confident about using the app
Excellent value and surprising quality
Purchased for a recent holiday, wanted something of reasonable quality but at budget price as kids would be using it. Was very pleasantly surprised at how good quality the video and photos were. Would certainly recommend.
Who needs a GO Pro
Amazing camera. I used on my last holiday and it is more than approved. Totally waterproof. Great image quality. Great sound capture. Better than I expected. Highly recommended this camera.
Great value camera
I’ve bought this camera as an update to my GoPro 3. Given the steep price for the newer models I searched for cheaper options and this Akaso stood out. I then took the camera to a summer trip and we took great underwater videos and pics.
I’m not a professional user or vlogger, my only use is for personal home-videos and to that end, this camera
feels like great value for quality. Would totally recommend i
BEST on the market!
A genuinely honest review;
Owned the camera over a year now and still performs the same as the day i got it. very reliable and well made. works underwater with the provided case and battery’s last ages. Used it on many challenging adventures that i wouldn’t be disappointed if it stopped working but not once did it let me down. A must have if you’re looking for a camera to capture your life on! stuck to my motorbike which i rode through rough terrain and recorded the full adventure, worked 10M under the sea and much more. Looking forward to capturing many more moments on it. Definitely recommend!!
Good Price Easy to use
I used this for my Honeymoon, Overall good action camera, light weight also.
Good Quality
Very good quality for price. Does exactly as it says.
Great shots and videos too.
Great shots and videos too, was pleasantly surprised for the price, sound sensitivity needs a bit off tweaking though.
I bought this V50 camera on my retirement after many years as professional photographer. It was intended for casual use on the beach and around the pool where I didn’t want to risk getting my expensive Leica compact camera wet or covered in sand. The waterproof case is perfect for this and, having used it for a while now, I’m quite impressed with the image quality from such a tiny unit. I particularly like the way that I can change settings while the camera is still in the waterproof case. It is possible to change the effective focal length to a degree and there is some built-in distortion correction, so not all the images have to have the “fisheye” effect. Having worked with professional photographic equipment all my life I find this little camera to be amazing value for money, especially with the included accessories.
Adventure Camera that doesn’t cost the world
I bought this camera for a recent family holiday I attended, part of the holiday included snorkelling and scuba diving and I wanted a fuss free camera that would do the job for a fraction of the price of leading brands and this did it for me. Simply charge the battery and insert the camera into a waterproof case and you’re off! I now have hours of crystal clear footage under the Indian Ocean. The camera automatically adjust to the varying depths, I dived to 14 meters. It has a slow motion function which saves you time in the editing suit! I would thoroughly recommend this product, 5 stars from me.
Seems to work fine so fa
This was purchased to video motorcycle rides and capture bad drivers potentially causing accidents,as an aid to insurance claims.
Great little camera
Great quality. I could use the camera straight out of the box.
No negative comments
Great value for the money
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product for the price, a pleasure to use.
So far so good, full and proper test soo
Arrived well packed with a lot of accessories. Yet to use it for the intended purpose (snorkeling) but the few tests I have done so far seem to be encouraging. Seems well made, menus easy to navigate and importantly image quality seems fine. Sure, there are alternatives that offer more features, higher resolution, and I doubt I would use this as a main camera for professional use, but for day to day shoot on holiday etc for the price this seems so far to be an excellent alternative.
Excellent action cam at a great price.
Used for first time on a rough single track on my mtb. Image stabilisation is awesome even when mounted on handlebars. Colour and light balance true to life. So far I’m more than impressed.
Amazing
Excellent action camera have taken it away on holiday to capture the views of Las palmas, picture quality on video 4k is really good, handles well and battery life is really good comes with spare and charge time is quick would recommend.
Good camera quality
Battery life limits a bit but if you plan ahead you cam manage.
I wish it had a clip to attach it to my shirt.
Easy and confirtable to use.
Camera speakers are enough but I rate them 2/5 because of sound quality, butvdudn’t need them so much.
Brilliant camera
Brilliant camera, used it on our honeymoon last month and it was great. Very clear images and videos, simple to use. Lots of extras in the box and stayed waterproof in the case. Very happy, who needs a Gopro when this is faultless!
Top Marks
I loved the camera. Great pricing great quality and easy to use. Love i
Lovely bit of ki
Got this specifically for a trip to Iceland, photos and videos, worked like a dream
Great quality camera for the price.
Great little camera for the price. You need to have the right SD card though as it can force a reformat after a battery change.
Great value .
Works very well , no problem with the app as some people have said. Very pleased with the camera , cant wait to use it on holiday.
Great little camera
Initial impressions are that both the photo and video quality both look good. With the waterproof housing it is quite large on top of my cycle helmet. I want motorists to know they are being videoed but this is little too in your face. Lots of different fixings, wrist remote. Spare backplate to waterproof housing. Nice to see that it has a diving mode, (acts like a red filter) although a manual white balance is a better option, but only normally an option on really good cameras. Two batteries. I have also set up the handle bar option. So I may use that, although I like the helmet idea, it comes with me all the time. The helmet attachment can be a little stiff to take off and putting it on is not very intuitive. Will be interesting to see if a single battery lasts my normal bike ride.
Best GoPro alternative
Bought this for an underwater camera, read a few reviews and a few mentioned the waterproof case leaking but i thought I’d give it a go for the price! Worked an absolute treat, got some great shots and no leakage!
Great little Action Camera
I purchased this for my Son. It comes with some great accessories but you will need to buy a head strap to get the best use out of it. As other reviews have mentioned the sound is not the best but for the money that I paid, I am more than happy with it. The pictures are clear and when my Son has used it underwater it worked well. We were very impressed with it.
Used for fishing, cycling, walking, festivals and it hasnt missed a beat.
Used for fishing, cycling, walking, festivals and it hasnt missed a beat. Although some say that the microphone is obscured when in the water proof case I bought an extra case and added an external mic for dry days where the camera needs some protection from dust and water splashes
Amazing
I bought this product for my holiday in lanzarote and it was brilliant the picture underwater is amazing and the battery life lasts for a whike
Brilliant action camera
Use this for mainly filming my son in the pool on holiday. Picture quality is excellent. Great little compact unit. With the waterproof case on sound quality is reduced but that’s to be expected (unsure how it is out of the case). There are lots of reviews out there on YouTube etc so take a look at them The first one I ordered had 1 defective battery out of the box-it wouldn’t charge at all but Akaso were excellent and quickly sorted this out. Interface in the app is great. Can easily transfer vids to mobile wirelessly (does take a while for big vids though). I think the only thing I would change is to have one that is fully waterproof without need for an exterior case but having that case does provide additional safety/protection for the device.
Make sure you get a fast 128GB micro SD card
I am happy enough with the pictures. I am using this for recording my cycle journeys just in case a vehicle crashes into me (luckily, no issues since I bought the camera so I have been deleting my videos regularly – let’s hope it carries on like this). I have no artistic ambitions so this is fine for me. If one is recording videos for a YouTube channel in order to get subscribers and hits, then one might want something with better image stablisation. The buttons and touch screen work fine, but when in the casing, the top button to start and stop recording seems a but shaky. I usually take my helmet off, press the button to make sure it is recording then put it on and set off. If not, you may think you have pressed the button, but actually it might not have started recording. The battery indicator seems to go down to about 25-30% at the end of my one hour ride. For my purposes, this is fine, but others may wish to carry additional batteries.
Battery life not great but video quality is quite good.
The camera kit comes with loads of different attachments for several situations including underwater use. The instructions are concise but clear. The video quality is great but a battery charge lasts about 70 mins so you have to remember to change it. It comes with 2 batteries and a charging unit so expect to get about 2+ hrs of video footage from them.
Unfortunately, the remote control unit with my camera arrived faulty and the options were to return the whole kit or accept a sum of money to buy a remote of EBay.
The remote would be handy for photos but not so mush for video.
Overall, it’s a great camera and cheaper than a GoPro so a good alternative. Mine is mounted to my cycle and captures good footage.
Not a bad camera at all for the price.
Quality Lil Camera
Tiny but nifty. Amazing video stabilisation. Battery seems okay, too. Lots of accessories. Interface is pretty simple to manage shame you can’t rotate footage as it is mounted on my bike upside down. You must flip the footage once you have it on the PC. Will update with deets in a few months time with a full review.
No not a GoPro but great value for money
It is not a GoPro buts its a third of the price, and for what I’m using it for it’s brilliant. I have a youtube channel where I share my cooking stories. and this camera works great, good picture and sound and plenty of features too. Screen works well and easy to navigate. The accessories you get are plentiful and I can’t knock it. The video attached is a time lapse video I made just for a bit off fun.
Excelente estabilidad
This is a great camera. I bought it for my son for outdoor pursuits. It is much better than I expected for the price. Very clean, sleek camera, great functionality, easy to use. Comes with so many attachments that you would have to buy separately with competitor products.

So far so good
For the cost not a bad camera. The star rating based on the price i paid
Good camera but wrist remote was faulty
I didn’t really use this so can’t comment much on the camera itself. It looked solid and worked ok. Battery life didn’t seem great as I had to recharge it when I took it out of the box after I’d only used it to basically see how it worked. I bought it for skiing but the wrist remote was faulty. The battery kept losing connectivity. Despite putting it back in and trying to get it to fit a bit tighter to the connections, it worked, then when I took it out again it lost connection.
Without the remote it was too awkward to turn on and off for skiing. Amazon we’re great though and I just returned it for a refund.

Perfect except for z axis bounce
Set up very easy, great results for video on bike and dash cam. Couldn’t get rid of z-axis bounce even with gimbal on walking videos
Overall very good for the price.
The camera has a great video quality at a fantastic price but it falls short in two key areas for me that makes it not quite worthy of 5 stars.
First- The image stabilization punches in heavily to a seemingly random part of the view and you have no real idea as to what you’re capturing when stabelised.
Second- It doesn’t have a visible status LED to let you know when it’s recording if, like me, you do not have access to the back of the camera due to needing to use a camera float, making it difficult to know if the recording has started or not.
Otherwise, fantastic and if you can pick it up on sale even better, well worth versus a used gopro or osmo.

Firstly, I had the exact same problem that many other people had with this camera, the Please Format SD Card problem, every time you turned the camera off for a while and back on again. Made it impossible to view images on the camera screen or transfer them to a PC / Laptop. I sent an email to Akaso Customer Support and I must say these guys were absolutely incredible. My email was answered within 2 hours with a request for my current firmware number and a photo of the SD card I was using. I sent the information and again got a very fast reply to state that the SD card I was using was fine ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07FCMBLV6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and I was given a link and very specific instructions to update my firmware. After completing the instructions, the problem went away and my camera is now fully functional. Thank you to Akaso Customer Support.
Also, after the firmware update, you DO NOT need to remove the SD card from the camera to transfer video or picture files. When you connect the micro USB to USB lead between the camera and your PC / Laptop, a multiple choice comes up on the camera screen asking if you want the camera to be used to Access SD Card ( to transfer files etc ) , PC Camera ( I assume as a web cam ) , or to Charge the Battery inside the camera.
Two batteries and an external charger are a godsend for those long bike rides. I use the 720p 30fps option which, after viewing the resultant video via the micro HDMI to HDMI option to my computer monitor, is fine for me. I am currently getting about 98 minutes on each fully charged battery, so over 3 hours of video in total at the stated settings using both batteries. I’ve used 1080p 60fps option a few times, but I need a bigger SD card as the one I’m using fills relatively much faster than the 720p 30fps, but for short bike rides of, say an hour or so, it’s fine.
The Electronic Image Stabilisation and Gyroscope settings are absolutely fantastic. Throughout my off-road biking the image stability is solid. The higher the FPS setting, the better the resultant image stability, but as I said, I’m happy at either 720p 30fps or 1080p 60fps. Not used the 2k or 4k options for my bike rides yet until I get a bigger SD card, although for short trials walking around the forests, the results are fantastic. The wrist worn Remote Control is OK, but I don’t like using it as I have to take my left hand off the handlebars to press the relevant button on the control, which is worn on my right wrist. Has caused me some off-balance problems on rough forest tracks. I can’t really fit it to my handlebars either, so I have relegated it to remote picture and video taking when using the camera on a tri pod.
My daughter paid 260 for a Go Pro Hero 7 Black and we did the same bike ride with her using the Black to record at 1080p 60 fps and me doing the same with my Akaso V50X, and we did a second ride at the highest resolution and fps possible. We reviewed the resultant videos on a 40 inch television via the HDMI ports and quite honestly I could not see a darned bit of difference in the performance, with the exception of the Go Pro playback being a little darker than the Akaso. My daughter said she could see a slight difference in the EIS, but I think it was wishful thinking on her part. The only thing the Go Pro could do that the Akaso couldn’t is rotate the screen image when the camera was held upside down. My daughter mounts her camera upside down on her handlebars, so that the camera is below the handlebars, and the image rotates accordingly to an upright position. The Akaso doesn’t, so if I mount my camera below the handlebars, I have to manually flip the video when reviewing it on my PC, or I just mount it above my handlebars if I can’t be bothered to alter the handle bar mounts.
If you look at the performance and abilities side by side as we have, then I got the better deal considering that the Go Pro cost two and a half times as much as the Akaso, 260 for the Go Pro against 99 for the Akaso.
On a final note. The Akaso comes with a wide variety of mounts to mount the camera almost anywhere in any position, and the water proofing was was tested in 24 feet of water for 40 minutes and came out dry as a bone ( NOTE: I used a few ball bearings and some tissue paper to weigh the water proof case down during the underwater test, didn’t want to risk the camera. However, at the end of the test, the tissue paper was completely dry and the case showed no sign of water ingress ).
My only negative point is that the sound quality isn’t the best, even with an external microphone. It’s not a deal breaker but I note it just to be fair.
All in all, a brilliant piece of kit which exceeded my expectations. I’m considering getting another as a back up and looking to buy one for my other daughter’s birthday in a few weeks. If you have the SD card problem as I stated in my first paragraph, just contact Akaso customer services for instructions on getting a firmware update.

Really impressed
I am really impressed with picture quality and general features of this action cam. Mine is version 2 which has some updates to firmware so it’s more stable. My only negative is battery life, you get just over an hour at 4k per a battery so if you plan to do lots of filming either get a power bank or more then the two batteries it comes with. It has loads of mounts and connections very impressed with its selection.

CONTRO –
Il suo microfono incorporato lascia abbastanza a desiderare, consiglio l’acquisto di un microfono esterno;

Akaso V50X
Bought for my motorcycle, absolutely rock steady, excellent video, no complaints
at all, super bit of ki
Very good for the price but image atabilization isn't great.
This little camera is great for the price. When stationary or moving very steadily it’s fine but on a selfie stick is still a bit jerky with image stabilization turned on. I have caught some very good time lapse film with it. For most applications I will still use the camera on my iPhone as it’s far superior but this is fine for time lapse or wide shot stuff.

Nice video
Great video features and image quality. Audio is a bit rough but to be expected and not a problem for my use.
Lots of frustration which is a shame. Rating UPDATE following firmware upgrade from Akaso suppo
UPDATED REVIEW I’m pleased to be able to take my review from 1 star to 5 star.
AKASO customer service responded very quickly to my email asking for help. They sent me a link to a newer version of firmware for my camera which appears so far to addressed the problem I was having.
Now happy with the camera and hopefully it will now continue to perform as hoped and expected.
ORIGINAL REVIEW for reference follows
Sadly this camera started off looking great and just what I wanted. Sadly that lasted about a day of use. The image and stabilisation was great but the software is very flaky. I had to constantly reformat the card. (Top of the range genuine san disc 64G grade 3 as recommended. The touch screen became random and often unresponsive or very slow. On starting the camera it frequently said format the card and although I did this in the camera once switched off it asked to be formatted again when turned back on! The video does not play reliably from the camera but will stream from the app to the iPhone? All in all very disappointing and when I return home from visiting relations I will sadly return it as not being reliable. Looking at the various posts on line I’m not alone in having these problems which is a real shame as the camera should do everything I want if it worked as specd. I’ll update my review if the manufacturer gets in touch and tries to help but I’m not too hopeful sadly.

Ottima... ma non il grandangolo
Ottima.
Three action cams for the price of a single GoPro?!
Video/photo quality is exceptional for the price.
Cheap enough to lose over the side of a sailing dinghy without tears and then spending the rest of the day sailing knowing an expensive cam was videoing fish, sand and rocks at the bottom of the sea 🙂
The way I saw it, better to have three separate views from three vids (on chest, on bow and on the stern/boom) recording frantic, trapezing dinghy sailing in 30 knots of wind than a single vid which, if lost after a capsize, would result in angst and a hole in my pocket!
Or one on my bike, the other on hers and a third on a shared selfie stick that, if dropped, wouldn’t be the end of the world!
Sure, my GoPro is better but it should be considering the price differential. But 3x better ? Hmmn. There are side-by-side comparison vids on Youtube where you can judge for yourself. I’ve gone for multi-angle shooting despite the quality ‘drop’ only noticeable if viewed alongside my GoPro footage.

Great camera
Great camera for attaching to my bike for an upcoming bike packing trip.
Great little camera
Really pleased with this camera. Clear picture, easy to use. Good battery life at two hours per battery. Great to have a second battery included in price. Sound quality not brilliant but this seems to be the sane in other modules. Mounting brackets could be more robust but otherwise great purchase and good value for money.

Great budget action camera
Fantastic for the price, definitely worth over the other brands. Includes a bunch of mounting accessories out of the box, very convenient.
Excellent mid range Action Camera, Easy to set up and use.
Very pleased with this. A great range of accessories included to mount it to just about anything. EIS works really well even when bolted to MTB handlebars riding over rough terrain. Remote works well when camera is not easily accessible.
Only disappointment so far is the internal microphone which is quite quiet and sounds recorded seem a bit “flat”. But I was aware of this so added the external mic to my order and I’m pleased to report that works well.
In short an excellent camera for the price.
