We bought this to put into our kitchen island. Its low profile is great so it does not stand tall when deployed.
The inductive charge can be a little finicky to hit the target but works well.
You do need to pay attention to what you plug in as the fuse is very small. We plugged in a sandwich toaster which blow the fuse. Fortunately they were easy to replace.
We have not used the additional ports (HDMI or Ethernet) so can’t comment on these.
One thing to watch out for is the power lead coupling can work its way loose with the up & down motion. Just needs to be considered when installing.
Mt electrician hadn’t seen one of these before and will now buy them for his house. So neat and discreet. You hardly notice it in the kitchen worktop.
The wireless phone charging plate can be used without rasing the unit so effectively you just put your phone on that point of the worktop and it charges.
Three, three-pin UK sockets, one USB A and one USB C.
Will buy for study desks also.
Great product, good quality what is missing:
– The USB-A is charging only, however it is recommended to have a connection to the PC and at the same time it can charge any USB-A device
– USB-C is not supported
Been using for a month it works well haven’t replaced fuses as yet as not been using sockets much mainly use for phone charging via induction coil
It doesn’t pop up too high which is why I chose and we have a white top so blends well
After an extensive search for a pop up socket that combined 4 way plug, HDMI, CAT5/6 as well as wireless charging but did not take up an entire drawer, I opted for this product. The item came well packaged and was as described. (Not sure why some comments think that it has a glass/blue halo around it… Clearly this diagram is there to show wireless charging capability). After installing the item and replacing the fuses I was extremely pleased with the motion and size of the unit. I did however discover that one of the sockets was faulty and even though the normal refund period had elapsed, I explained that due to delays experienced due to Covid I had only recently installed the product, they kindly offered me a replacement. The communication with the company was prompt and first class and would like to extend my thanks for their understanding and quick resolution.
Just had new kitchen fitted and having this on the centre island is just brilliant, very handy in this day and age.
Put two in our boardroom table. linked the Ethernet, Power and HDMI Cables.
Makes for a very tidy and elegant finish. Great for charging the phone while in a meeting also.
