Reprogrammable Digital Access + 2 Override Keys
Equipped with an electronic lock, the AmazonBasics security safe offers quick set-up and easy operation. After installing four AA batteries (not included), reprogram the safe with your own unique passcode. To open the safe, enter your passcode using the key pad, then turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door. Two emergency override keys are included, which makes it possible to open the safe and access your valuables even if you forget your passcode or if the keypad batteries run out. The digital display has three different symbols to indicate locked, unlocked, and low battery. *Note: The safe is shipped locked. To open for the first time, use one of the two override keys provided.
2 Live-Door Bolts and Pry-Resistant Concealed Hinges
In addition to the electronic lock, the security safe features two live-door bolts, a pry-resistant steel door, and pry-resistant concealed hinges. These relevant design elements help prevent intruders from accessing the contents of the safe. A black exterior finish gives the safe a handsome look that will coordinate with any home or office setting.

All fine so far. Only had it for 1 week but seems like it will do exactly what I wanted.
I needed a sage that is storing and sturdy enough and easy to fit in my apartment. I like the fact that I can fit all my important documents in the bottom shelf as well as place two laptops and my camera, money and gold plated mint coin collection set.
It is as advertised and easy to install. Worth your money if you are looking to get a sturdy sage that is within your budget.
I bought two safes one for my parents and one for me.

This has fairly thin walls, but I think it’s good enough for what I need it to do.
Super easy to install and to secure to wall/floor. Easy to use electronic lock works great. Instruction manual is easy to understand.
Overall highly recommended as sn everyday home safe, particularly for laptops.
My husband and I needed something for files and this worked great!

Love the safe! Easy to lock and unlock with the code. Have not tried the fingerprint reader. I didn’t know it did that, so I will have to look into it. It’s the perfect small safe.
Easy to install, simple to use. Have owned for several years and use to store passports and other documents I don’t want to go missing. My batteries fell out one day while the safe was closed, so I put a piece of duct tape over the batteries to hold them in more securely.
I purchased this safe for my granddaughter who relocated to Chicago for work. She is sharing an apartment with 2 other roommates. She keeps her valuables safe at home and whenever she’s out of the apt. Looks great and compact. Great buy!

This safe is more than what I expected. I love the ability to have the keypad and the key to open it. It’s great that you have to turn the lever to lock it again. The space is amazing inside and the shelf is such a help to organize. I wish the shelf was adjustable but that’s ok. It’s wonderful to have the option to secure it to a wall, shelf, or floor. Great purchase and will purchase again if I need more.
The safe not opening for the first time. Wanted replacement, but initially online option was not available so opted to return. Waited for its pickup…. Spoke to Amazon customer care… Replacement order was placed and item was replaced. Ned item working fine…. Txs.

For personal use at home. Easy to install and activate. Not too heavy but solid enough to withstand simple breach attempt. NB this is not fire/heat or water-proof unit. Good value for the money…arrived on schedule.

This unit arrived with increadible speed ( Next day! ) I have an air rifle, which I keep in a proper gun safe. I purchased the digital safe for the storage of pellets, the trigger group and the gun’s breach. I found that the installation of the safe to be easy and that the instructions were very simple and clear. I installed the safe off site so that no one could obtain a complete working gun, in the event of robbery. It is perfect fo the job. This is a very good product.

The first one I got did not work, however, I had no problem exchanging the faulty product. The replacement works fine and is big enough for all my needs without be obtrusive.
Installed. Its easy to use and sturdy enough. Certainly value for money.
A good value option. Bought one of these to tuck out the way. Ok so for the price don’t expect fort knox, I wouldn’t recommend it for cash or high value jewellery but for laptops and documents to keep out the way this will be fine.
The safe is a good size, 43cm wide so fits even some of the widest laptops which mine is. The metal isn’t massively thick, maybe 3mm so would not hold up to a blow torch or drill for that matter but will be enough to stop chancers. It will certainly be secure enough to stop your run of the mill chancers providing its tucked away and secured to the wall or floor.
Keypad is responsive and the keys don’t look quite discreet if put on your key set. Not bad at all would recommend.
It’s worth buying – value for money product. Sturdiness is disappointing but easy to fit in furniture.
Good product…door is little bit loose after closing…..inside carpet needed welcro as it keeps moving….rest is all ok

Great size for A4 size documents kept flat. Good for aimple household stuff you don’t want disappearing over time. Does the job for me. Don’t know how long it would take for some serious thief to get into or take thw whole thing if not.bolted down. But I’m not holding the crown jewels.
It’s a decent size if you’re putting it in a wall or new construction. When full it may be a bit awkward to move. The lock is pretty good, and the shelf on the inside is a nice touch
