I like this style of can because it holds more than a small bag. The bad thing is it has to be placed at least 3″ from a wall so the lid doesn’t hit it when it opens. Takes up too much room

Bought this to foil a crafty cat who had figured out to break into our older smaller kitchen garbage. This one is nice and tall, the soft close is a nice feature, and it holds a huge amount of garbage without feeling like it’s taking up a lot of space.

I bought one and liked it so much I bought another one for recycling. Now I have one of each and put vinyl stickers on them to indicate trash or recycle.

This garbage can is a good size. Uses a Regular large bag. The slow close does the job! There is no lip to easily open manually using your hands, so it encourages everyone to use the hands-free step opener. It needs to be more than 2″ to 3″ from the wall at the base to be able to open the top fully. It looks somewhat awkward being so far from the wall. The box it came in was heavy duty and we had no dents to the product. It arrived quickly too!
This bin is very large it look good in a large kitchen.
