Great bin well made. This is a Heavy bin which is great for me as it doesn’t move around or lift up when pulling out your rubbish bag. The stainless steel outer is easy to clean. Best bin i have ever had.

I like this style of can because it holds more than a small bag. The bad thing is it has to be placed at least 3” from a wall so the lid doesn’t hit it when it opens. Takes up too much room

Great quality bin, plenty of space for rubbish before it needs emptying perfect for a family. Soft close feature is good. Bin liner fits perfectly inside. All around perfect bin from Amazon Basics.

Bought this to foil a crafty cat who had figured out to break into our older smaller kitchen garbage. This one is nice and tall, the soft close is a nice feature, and it holds a huge amount of garbage without feeling like it's taking up a lot of space.

Selling this as Basic is too modest. It’s good quality plus a useful shape and size. So far it is sturdy and easy to use. The price is reasonable enough compared to other makes on offer.

I bought one and liked it so much I bought another one for recycling. Now I have one of each and put vinyl stickers on them to indicate trash or recycle.

This garbage can is a good size. Uses a Regular large bag. The slow close does the job! There is no lip to easily open manually using your hands, so it encourages everyone to use the hands-free step opener. It needs to be more than 2” to 3” from the wall at the base to be able to open the top fully. It looks somewhat awkward being so far from the wall. The box it came in was heavy duty and we had no dents to the product. It arrived quickly too!

Great rubbish bin.
Excellent value bin. Looks smart as it’s made of brushed stainless steel. It has an inner bin that makes emptying very easy and can also take a standard 50L black bin bag. I didn’t realise but the bin has a soft close mechanism which avoids loud clangs as the lid closes. The foot pedal is also a very decent size so is very easy to use while wearing slippers. Ultimately it’s just a bin but it’s a very good one. Time will tell how durable it is but it appears to be sturdily made.

Off the bat, good competitive price. Good overall reviews. Solid build. Quality product. As other reviewers say, 50L bin bags fit perfectly, they just fit! No faffing around trying to tie the top of the bag to the top of the bin or using the silly cut out hole to take the bag slack! It is big but that is exactly what I wanted. Getting the bags out is also pretty straightforward and they tend not to get ‘vacuum locked’ in the plastic bin liner. The foot pedal has a solid feel to it. Remember: to empty the bin open the lid with your hand which disengages the drag opener allowing the lid to open past 90 degree angle. Didn’t take me long to figure out but if you use the foot pedal to open the bin with the intention of removing the liner and bag you will scratch your head and go ‘that’s stupid the lid doesn’t open far enough’. It does, just open it with your hand and not the pedal. Easily the best bin I have owned from a cost, design, ruggedness perspective. Also, so far the matt steel finish doesn’t seem to overly attract fingerprints or dirt. Highly recommended. Longer delivery time as it came in from outside of the UK. Well worth the wait. It is only a bin. But as a product I absolutely love it.
Been using for 3 months now and I’m happy with it. Holds a lot, and it’s dimensions are perfect since a full bag goes down the garbage shoot with little issues. Haven’t had a problem with the foot pedal yet.

This seems like an extremely sturdy garbage can. It looks great, and seems like it’ll probably last forever. My only complaint, for which I deducted a star, is that I noticed a chemical (plastic?) smell / odour when I opened the box. I’m hoping the smell will go away after some time. The garbage can seems really good apart from that. It is large, so check the measurements for your space!

I am thrilled with this garbage can. I read the reviews on just about every can offered on Amazon. I narrowed it down & went with this option. My biggest concern was it arriving dented as that’s been a big issue in the reviews. It comes in a VERY thick & sturdy cardboard box. Like so thick I couldn’t break it down. 99% of the cans are shipped in original packaging with no padding so dents happen but this crazy box kept mine pristine. I LOVE this product y’all. I got rid of a 15 yr old triple bin & I wish I’d done it sooner. Takes a lot to fill it up, no issues with bags fitting or lid closing, foot operated lid works great, no areas for gross stuff to collect, stands about 2 inches from the wall which I like because u can see behind it for crumbs, easy clean up etc. Sturdy inner bin pulls out for cleaning or bag changing- I don’t find it difficult to use or put back in as 1 reviewer mentioned. I added a Command Strip hook to hang a recycling bag off the side and I couldn’t be happier.
The lid seals perfectly & completely traps any odors. Only con is the price is kinda high but I’m expecting it to last many years (for this price, it better!). Definitely recommend!
