Expand Your Port Options

Transform your MacBook’s 2 USB-C ports into a total of 9 ports. Transfer data in seconds, stream media in unrivaled clarity, and provide high-speed pass-through charging.

Upgrade Your Display

Power Deliver Pass-Through Charging

Plug the hub into your laptop and then connect your Power Delivery wall charger to the USB-C input port to get up to 85W of charging power.

Dual Slot Card Reader

Access data from both cards simultaneously to transfer large files from a video camera to your computer, or to transfer data between two cards.

Designed for Portability

When you’re ready to go, simply reconnect the dual USB-C connectors to the hub and you can use the built-in cable as a hook to easily carry the hub with you.

I got this to replace another from a different manufacturer I had lost. Functions are great and it’s handy having the 2 charger USBC ports. It’s very robust- But this makes it pretty big and heavy compared to my old one. Also the picture implies the USBC plugs on the cable neatly tidy away by plugging into the top of the main body- they don’t do they flop around in your bag. Great for a workstation scenario less good for carrying around with you.

Can’t really use with an external display. Drastically changes colors which makes the product useless for photo editing. Got my hopes up.

I needed additional ports, but didn’t need a massive hub so this Anker hub seemed like a good fit. It absolutely is! Plugged it in, connected my devices and it’s been working perfectly. Have other Anker products and have been happy with all of them.

Connected: HDMI to one monitor / usb c to hdmi for another, usb c to SSD drive, USB to webcam…so far that’s it, but there are a few more ports to use.

Weiter so Anker.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got this so that I can get rid of the extra dongle I used for the HDMI port.

I already had a USB-C-HDMI connector, so it was easy to just connect one of the monitors to the USB-C, and my other to the HDMI port.

I now have my macbook as monitor 1, my 20 inch ASUS as monitor 2, and my other 20 inch ASUS as monitor 3. All separate and not mirrored.

The dongle is also charging with no problems.

I highly recommend to the Macbook users who wish to clean up their dongle situations. Be advised you will need to get a USB C-HDMI connector to make the setup work.

Otherwise; using two HDMI cables on the same dongle will only allow for mirroring.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have read mixed reviews on whether this works with an M1 Mac. It does!
But, I have only made it work with a MacBook Air.

You will need to upgrade your charger from 30w to the 67w charger and install DisplayLink, that’s it! It works like magic! I am using an HDMI and a USB-C monitor shown here. If you have 2 HDMI monitors, get an adaptor for USB-C to HDMI and it will work too.

This works with 2 external monitors the M1 MacBook Ai

I needed this due to needing the cat6 connection, this solved more of my needs than I thought it would.

It adds some extra ports, decent wired lan connectivity… Could use some more USB A and C Ports though.

Down side that dinged it a star. The rubberized band on the dual port connector is slightly thicker then it should be. This means when on a flat surface, it’s slightly lifting up a 2020 MBP putting extra stress on the USB C ports.

All around good product, just make sure if you have a case that it’ll fit without having to remove the case

Much better than cheaper models. I guess you get what you pay for. Very good.

I love the way it works perfectly with all my devices (external monitor; ethernet, remote hard drive, external keyboard). Despite occupying 2 USB-C ports it gives you those back and more. The operation of the devices attached are very dependable. I used this to replace a previous cheaper hub that was unreliable on ethernet connection. It would drop the connection when laptop went to sleep and would not resume it. This Anker USB C never has any problems like that. I like how neat it looks attached to the side of the laptop. Works perfectly and great value.

From design to speeds, all around excellent hub.

It's all that and a bag of chips!

Been using it since the day I got it. Very solid. It gets hot but nothing crazy. Can charge MacBook pro without issue.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPros:
Affordable compared to other multi-port hubs
    Solid, hefty build

    Cons:
    Only 1 USB-C port
Too much power draw when not connected to power supply

I’ve been an Anker customer for a few years now. I like the quality of their products (materials, build and functionality). PowerExpand is one of those great Anker products that provide what I just need, with a few caveats.

I use the multi-use USB-C port to output 4K 60 Hz on an external monitor and it does that well. However, I wish there’s another USB-C port that functions as USB3, especially since Apple’s consumer products come with USB-C to Lightning these days. macOS also gives a warning that the hub is consuming too much power when it’s disconnected from a power supple. Some sort of battery or low power mode would have been nice to make this hub even more portable and more ideal for traveling.

Near-perfect expansion hub for the 2020 M1 MacBooks

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI purchased this for my 2020 M1 MacBook Pro. Everything works great and better than the Apple version (constant HDMI disconnects). The only issue I’m running into is the MacBook has lost the ability to optimize the battery charging to 80% before a recharge. I hope it doesn’t kill the battery health.
