Genuily surprised
I only just received this recorder, but since I don’t have my SD card yet, I’ll just review the recorder and its accessories for now.
The box and the case in which the camera came were sturdy and of good quality, and so was the packing foam inside, so I’m pretty confident it won’t have any defects due to shipping co having been a little rough.
The cam itself and the watertight plastic housing seem of good quality, though I won’t throw it on the wall just for kicks. All the other accessories, once assembled fit snugly and I’m confident they’ll hold the cam just fine on the job.
All in all it seems as though it’ll work fine once it can actually have an sd card to record to, but for now I’d say I don’t regret my 60$ for an instant.
I’ll try and remember to update this review once I’ve had the chance to test it out.

Does everything, except connect to the WiFi which is probably something that I am doing wrong ,but great for time lapse and slow motion…not sure about the battery life stated, a little over exaggerated

It works very well. Videos are sharp even in low resolution. It's incredible that it comes with two batteries and all the attachments. At a lower resolution I can record extended videos. Having the remote to start and stop videos and take pictures is super convenient. I can pop it in my glove box on my motorcycle and record almost instantly. Unfortunately I wanted to upload a video, but my videos are too long and won't upload here.

Very basic instructions but pretty easy to put together. Haven’t found the perfect position yet but started off on the indicator, will try a few more. Recording at 1080 and the quality is pretty decent for a wee cam sub 50. Battery life is an issue. 200 mins from 2 fully charged batteries? Try about 140-150mins max. Not sure if you could use higher powered batteries so just ordered an extra set of 3 batteries. At least now I should be able to cover my longer rides. The waterproof case is great, survived a 1 hr downpour on its first outing, nice. Bought because there are some stupid riders, drivers and pedestrians out there

Good quality action cam for the price
I got this to use mainly on the mountain bike with the dogs. It copes well in poorly lit conditions and at speed. The mount fits onto the handlebars of my mtb, but not the road bike. There is an option to attach it to a helmet however. Good quality little camera for the price.

Camera arrived quick as I would expect from prime.
The camera itself is the basic size of all this type of cameras. And I do like the protective case you get to hold all the equipment in really nice touch.
I have owned 3 of these cameras now with this one being the best. (other 2 cameras failed when swimming on holiday!) Not been swimming with this one yet but did a sink test and all is fine.
Picture quality is great and easy to amend settings to burst ect.
The video is great quality compared to the 1080p version I had before. 4k 30 frames is good for the price but you can easily change this for 1080 @ 60 frames if you need. Just to add I like the extra battery you get plus the duel charger. When I got the device I was able to charge both ready for a day of filming. Good sturdy product. I would recommend to a friend.

Stunning little camera! Lightweight and easy to use straight out the box.
I’ve been using it for vlogs and recordeding trips out in the car. It comes with some handy attachments including a waterproof case. The sound is ok but I think I’m going to get the plug in mic as I need really prominent vocals.
Two batteries and a dual cradle mean you can charge one and use the other. Or charge both at the same time.
The remote control works really well for snapping photos or taking video clips when you want.
For the price you won’t get better.

Wow, not sure where to start. I am surprised how good this is. It comes with two batteries and a wrist remote and lots of other brilliant attachments. It doesn’t come with an SD card but that’s ok. The picture quality on it seems really good as well. I looked at go pro but much prefer this model.

I explained that he really wanted a case to take the camera swimming and camping, so they suggested I return it and buy a new one on Prime, which was definitely the quickest resolution. Then a new case showed up. He is so pleased with the camera and I could not be more pleased with the service. Also: the camera works great and he loves all the gadgety things. On a 22-minute ride at 1080P recording, I ended up with two files (each about 10-12 min). So you’re going to have to stitch your videos together.
This inconvenience aside, this camera is an excellent value for price, you can’t really go wrong here or do much better for the same cost. The whole kit is really well thought out and put together.

Awesome package for an amateur like me, and suits my needs for sure and I didn’t have to fork over $500+.

Love that it came with a case to hold everything too, honestly was one thing that really drew me to this camera. I literally just have to remember to grab 1 item. Handy to have the spare battery too.
I struggled with the initial set up 100% operator error. Once I took time to read the manual and found all my issues, everything has operated seamlessly. Haven’t used the WiFi transfer function, but will be doing so in the near future now that I know how everything works!
Strapped it on the dog for a new POV, pic quality is still pretty good from his run!

L’application fonctionne trs bien avec Iphone dans mon cas XR, simple et efficace. Pour une fraction du prix d’une Gopro.

I like the timelapse option and the fact that I could easily start and stop recording with a remote in my arm. 4k quality is what I would use. Image stabilization could have been better but no complaints for the price. I don’t wanna pay 500$ for a crappy GoPro that doesn’t hold charge. This one comes with a lot of utilities and extra battery. I just connected it to my TV to show how good the clarity is for the price.

I purchased this camera when it came up as a daily deal so felt I got it for a good price. I wasn’t expecting great things for the price but I’m pleasantly surprised by the product received and the quality of video so far. The product shipped from Amazon and arrived quickly with all accessories as advertised.
I haven’t used it much as yet but the few test videos I’ve done so far have been good quality. I”m impressed with the picture quality, the waterproof case works and the sound is quite good as well.
The included manual is pretty good at explaining how to set the various functions and features but not so much on how to use the included mount accessories. The LIVE DV app for the phone or tablet is okay for remote control but not so much for sharing, can’t seem to get it to do that properly.
I purchase a 64GB micro SD card and formatted in the camera as instructed. For some reason I kept getting the error message “Please Format TF card” and it wouldn’t record. So I purchased a 32GB card and it works fine. I have an email in to APEXCAM support about the 64GB card and will see what their response is.

Bought this only because we were going to Hawaii and would be snorkelling and wanted a way to catch the experience without breaking the bank. Figured for $60, what do I have to lose.
Kit came packaged in a nice case, with a ton of accessories, most of which I did not have a use for, so I just kept the one’s that seemed most useful and put the rest aside. Came with 2 batteries and a charger. Charge per battery lasts between 1 and 2 hours on video mode, I would guess. Hard to be accurate because I wasn’t videoing continually.
Now as to quality. Photo quality is just OK. It won’t compete with a high-end smart phone, nor a good compact camera, but if you are just looking to capture memories and not win a photo contest, they will do just fine. I didn’t take many photos with it, since I had a phone and a compact camera, mostly took video. As you can see from the photo included, shot in low-light conditions, it did OK, but you will find some fish-eye effect with photos due to the wide-angle lens. It may be possible to correct that with software. What I was really impressed with were the underwater videos. The resolution was excellent and colors vivid. I’ve attached a screen capture from an underwater video. The colors and detail look way better when cast to my TV than they do on the computer screen. In any event, the waterproof housing did it’s job, though I did find some condensation inside after the second dive of the day, but that could easily have been from drops of water falling into the case while changing battery or sim card. In any event it did not affect operation of camera and it still works fine.
The only caveat I have is to read the manual prior to use. I didn’t, and didn’t realize that the wrist controller is NOT waterproof, just splashproof. Needless to say after diving with it on, it was kaput. My fault, not the device! Also, I had my camera attached to a mount on my snorkel, but I could also have attached it to a headband. Problem with that setup is that you don’t really know where the camera is aimed. Next time, I will just get a selfie stick that is waterproof and mount the camera to it and hold it in front of me so I can be sure it is aimed at what I want it to be aimed at. In conclusion, I highly recommend this camera as a cheap alternative to a Go-Pro. Certainly not comparable I’m sure, but then again, neither is the price.

Waterproofing didn’t disappoint neither. WIFI transfer and remote switch is fantastic add on.There is only one thing I’m not happy about, the camera doesn’t hold the time and date after replacing batteries, which messed up picture order quite badly if you forget to set it after replacement, other wise it is great value camera

I was skeptical when ordering this camera at first thinking it wouldnt live up to my expectations seeing as its not a “popular” brqnd however i wqs pleasantly surprised omce i put it to use. Ive had it about 2 weeks now and its amazing. The video and picture quality is better than expected. Like all action cams its not the best in nightime videos but you can still gwt the job done. Also comes with a bunch of handy accessories and a “premium feel” carrying case. Great value for the price!!!

The camera has great quality footage with volume, it has surpassed his and my expectations. He has tried it on his hockey helmet while skating at the ODR to film his shot! I’m excited to use it while hiking through the rain forest and snorkeling. The waterproof case has a great seal! It is easy to use. With the winter approaching, i wanted to invest in a good quality camera that would remain affordable and that i could easily carry in my backpack or pocket.
After some researches and after watching the comments, i wanted to give it a try and buy my very first action camera.
I will not hide the fact that for this price which turns out to be only 60$ i did hesitate a little but to my surprise at the reception of the camera i was amazed to see the amount of accessories included.
There is a bracelet to facilitate the taking of photo and video, supports and even a second battery for the camera.
Concerning the overall quality of the camera i give without hesitation a 5/5.
For the packaging and the presentation of the products upon reception i also give a rating of 5/5.
Now i will be able to carry my camera wherever I go during this winter!
Just got it and popped a 32gig micro SD card. Followed the screen menu and it was straight forward, easy. Started taking pictures and video in both 1080 and 4K formats. The quality of photo is very good, even it is a fix focus camera. I took both photo and video outside with the water-proof case and the case did not interfere in picture quality. Hope I can take underwater pictures and videos soon. Highly recommended.

I received my 4K Apex cam and the order was well wrapped and everything was as ordered. I did a quick try of the camera and it works really well. I am happy to have the remote access wrist strap; which I have not tried yet, but, if it is as good as the camera, I expect it will work well. I also really like to access via my smartphone. All in all, although I have just received it and given it a quick trial, I am very happy with the camera. I will probably write another review once I have explored all the options.
