Works for what I originally bought it for console gaming. For this very impressive but recently put together a pc and for some reason the microphone isn’t recognised with windows (using Windows 11) it just thinks it’s a regular headset without a microphone. So I had to buy a USB 3.5mm adapter and it works straight away no idea why.
Fantastic piece of equipme
The best headset i have used really comfortable and the sound the quality is unreal. Playing games like Call Of Duty you can hear movement clear. I really recommend the Astro A40 TR.
Top tier headse
The astro a40’s are gd for high budget gaming headset the audio quality is definitely up there with some minor issues when playing on a console.
On the PS5 I ran into issues with the mic on the headset that some reason caused me to speak through the controller instead of the headset mic. The reason for this is the mute slider on the headset mutes the mic but not the controller mic.
But overall the Astro a40’s are worth the money but if your considering them, buy the bundle that comes with the audio mixer as there no volume slider on the headse

Los mejores cascos que he probado hasta la fecha, me echaba un poco para atrs el precio, pero euro merece la pena, no te incomodan tras estar en el ordenador durante mucho tiempo, suenan genial y son muy ligeros.

Devo dire che la garanzia Amazon sugli acquisti in Wharehouse sempre ottima. Arrivato tutto come nuovo. Le cuffie erano sicuramente usate perch il cavo all’interno era arrotolato male, ma questo ha confermato la correttezza della descrizione del prodotto. Tutto funzionante alla perfezione.

Unica pecca se vogliamo, il suono che pi basso rispetto alle cuffie normali, ma se equalizzatore tutto va bene.

Niente da dire, prese senza mix amp ma fanno lo stesso e anche molto bene il loro dovere, comodissime e molto leggere.
What you expect from Astro
Solid build quality, decent sound with plenty of depth and bass. Great for games that are reliant on sound cues.
I swapped out the standard ear cups for some faux leather ones, because the standard ones can get a bit irritating and scratchy when worn for a couple of hours or so. Other than that, very comfortable.

have the TR40 MiXAmp Pro and these headphones are made just for these along with the Astro Software you great some great sounds and works well with PS5 or PC with the ASTRO HDMI splitter.

da allora ho sempre cercato delle alternative anche piu costose ma con qualita audio superiori..
ne ho provate circa una decina diverse tra i 100 ed i 200 euro, nessuna era superiore alla g35..
questa finalmente il passo avanti che cercavo:
l’audio molto chiaro, molto neutro,
ottimi i bassi, chiari i medi, puliti gli alti senza mai distorcere,
il suono stage davvero bello e profondo, tutti i suoni si sentono combinati assieme e nulla fuori posto,
sono davvero cuffie Hifi e considerando che con le offerte le ho pagate davvero una cosa ridicola, direi che ho fatto davvero un bell affare…
I bought these for warzone so I could hear footsteps and they work brilliantly for that, it’s definitely improved my play compared to 15 headphones, I got these for around 100.
The only downside is that others can hear the audio, so my wife moans that she is able to hear gunfire now.

Son unos cascos con un sonido realmente bueno, todo est muy equilibrado, y si buscas cascos abiertos para juegos puede que sean una opcin buena. La presentacin es muy buena. Respecto a la comodidad he de decir que al principio me apretaban un poco por lo que cada cierto tiempo tena que descansar.

The sound control and volume isn’t the best, there is no easy to adjust volume, the microphone is detachable which comes with a price: the mic will not be that good. Beside that, overall good headset!

Sicuramente Cuffie spettacolari, nulla da dire sulla qualit (eccelso tutto), peccato che non puoi regolare il volume dell’audio direttamente dalle cuffie (dal cavo per intenderci) a meno che tu abbia il mixamp che costa piu delle cuffie stesse.
risultano piccole indossate, non per forza un fattore negativo.
