La calidad de audio, cables y comodidad est muy bien. Es un producto destacado en ese sentido. Pero estn sobrevalorados, este no es un producto de 180. Por eso mis 4 estrellas.
El precio justo por unos audfonos de esta calidad estara sobre los 100 en mi opinin.

Premetto che ho preso solo le cuffie senza mixamp,le cuffie sono fatte molto bene il suono pulito con bassi potenti e microfono abbastanza lungo. Ho letto molte recensioni che senza mixamp il suono in cuffia era basso personalmente non ho riscontrato questi problemi.

Tolles Headse
Die erste Gaming-Session mit diesem Headset war ein unvergleichliches Erlebnis. Ich hatte vorher JBL Kopfhrer, dazwischen liegen Welten. Auch im Dauereinsatz berzeugt Astro mit tollem Tragekomfort, der einzige Minuspunkt fr mich persnlich ist, dass das Headset ein wenig schwer ist. Fr den tollen Klang und die kristallklare Mikro-Qualitt nehme ich das aber gerne in Kauf. Es stimmt einfach alles, das Headset und die Kabel sind robust und gut verarbeitet und auch nach zwei Monaten der tglichen Benutzung habe ich noch keine Makel finden knnen. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Myth on the PS5
This supposed to be the best tournament gaming headset in the market, unfortunately it lacked on PS5. This branded as it supports PlayStation 5 system although the functionality did work as planned.
I did not purchase Mixer with it even though you need additional optical adapter to make the mixer work with the PS5. My current were to use this headset as normal but the sound quality was terrible on PS5. The Surround were malfunctioning, I couldn’t not here foot steps left or right, it was all over the place.

In tutta onest a detta mia, ho trovato decisamente pi soddisfacenti a livello sonoro le Logitech G935.
COMODITA’
Non credo di avere indossato una cuffia pi comoda di questa.
Durante lunghe sessioni non mi ha mai dato fastidio e i suoi 369g non si sentono affatto.
Le due calotte sono ben isolate con fattore di forma ON-EAR.
CONCLUSIONI
Che altro aggiungere se amate il marchio comprate ad occhi chiusi il prodotto valido soprattutto dal punto di vista dell’estetica e della qualit dei materiali.
Viceversa se cercate qualcosa di pi performante optate per altro come per esempio le Logitech G935 che hanno un prezzo quasi identico, tuttavia sono materiale parlando a mio avviso pi scadenti rispetto le Astro, ma a livello sonoro si comportano decisamente meglio.

Cuffie molto valide (utilizzate principalmente con FPS). Potenti, suono nitido e limpido. Leggermente pesanti dopo ore di utilizzo, asta del microfono va posizionata leggermente sopra il naso e la bocca (o comunque a distanza) poich altrimenti trasmette il suono del respiro.

The mute button doesn’t really work still sound gets through the mic which I dont like. Found myself muting through xbox settings instead. Dont like the way there’s no volume control on the headset itself. Other than that its a good headset the sound quality is the best from what I used so far.

Very sturdy & comfy, can wear the headset for a good couple of hours without getting uncomfortable, stays on perfectly for long times even when moving unlike previous headsets I’ve owned that like to slide off. Good directional sound & quality definitely worth the money especially compared to other headsets for the same price range. Only issue is without the Mix-amp, getting all your volumes to the right level can be tricky but with a bit of time can still set it perfect.

Aber tontechnisch wenn man mal richtig Musik genieen will absolut das falsche Headset, Bsse meiner Meinung nach zu schwach.
Die Soundkarte des PCs gibt den Ton an und da noch zustzlich ne Soundkarte zu kaufen ne danke.
Wahrscheinlich mit dem Astro Audio Interface um einiges besser, aber dafr nochmal Geld ausgeben sehe ich dann doch nicht ein.
Ansonsten gibt’s nichts zu meckern.
Noch was zum Mikro, das muss sich in Sachen Sprachqualitt nicht verstecken absolut klarer klang !
Tragekomfort und Gegnerortung hui, Mikro naja..
Das Headset sitzt sehr bequem und man kann es ohne Probleme mehrere Stunden tragen.
Die Tonqualitt ist gut und Gegner lassen sich anstndig orten. Rundum ein gutes Produkt mit dem man hervorragend FPS Spiele zocken kann.
Ganz besonders hat mir die offene Bauweise des headsets gefallen.
Durch die offene Bauweise nimmt man auch noch die Gerusche seiner Umwelt wahr und befindet sich nicht in einer Blase”. Ich konnte mit dem Headset noch hren wenn der Paketbote klingelte oder meine Freundin sich von hinten nherte.
Der einzige Minuspunkt war fr mich das Mikrofon. Der Gesprchspartner wird hier definitiv nicht mit einem gutem Sound verwhnt. Da gibt es andere Headsets mit deutlich besseren Mikrofon (diese sind dann allerdings auch noch mal etwas teurer und haben leider nicht die offene Bauweise).
Unterm Strich also eine Kaufempfehlung, wenn es einem nicht sehr wichtig ist dass man ein extrem gutes Mikrofon am Headset hat.

Das Astro A40 ist bei mir jetzt schon seit 1 Monat in betrieb & ich muss sagen, das Geld ist es wert. Ich hatte davor ein anderes Headset was kabellos war, dort gab es nach 3 Monaten nur Probleme. Mit dem Astro A40 ist das nun Geschichte. Das Audiokabel ist sehr lang und hat dazu noch mehrere Anschlsse zum wechseln. Durch das verbinden mit Kabel ist auch die Audio input Qualitt gut. Kann ich nur Empfehlen fr alle Zocker.

Amazing build, comfort and sound.
Fantastic for gaming. I’ve always wanted a pair of Astros since 2012 but could never afford them.
Decided to upgrade from my current because I wanted something comfier, with less clamping force. And this fits the bill. Super comfy, with spacious ear cups. The swivel provides an extra adjustment you can’t get with headsets that don’t swivel. Taking them off after long sessions doesn’t leave my head feeling sore or uncomfortable, unlike my previous.
And everything else like sound, build quality etc, is top notch.

My son had these as one of his Xmas presents, he says they are brilliant! He uses them for gaming, listening to music and watching TV programmes, films and Netflix, on his pc. He has had several sets prior to this set however he has said he would by this set again, (even though they are cheaper than some of the other sets he’s had before) so him saying that, I would highly recommend.
I’m writing this review rn while listening to music with them and i just need to say, they’re incredible even without the mix amp. First of all i’d like to say don’t buy these if you’re planning on going back to cheap headphones because they’ll be horrible. I can no longer stand to wear my old headphones because they’re not as deep, soft or cosy as these, the sound quality is night and day, rather than having headphones stuck to your head it feels like they’re all around you. They’re great for gaming, loud but never echo and Crystal clear, i loaded up a game and started noticing things i never knew made sound, the music listening experience is also great with these, 3D audio for music which is mind blowing and there’s no tearing, deep base and you once again you notice all the background that wasn’t there in your old headphones, also all the customisation stuff is cool and it means the headset isn’t broken if you accidentally ruin the wire, great build quality also.

Haben mir echt viele Headsets im Laufe bestellt da ich leidenschaftlich zocke und muss sagen das ich noch nie ein besseres hatte als das A40 TR obwohl ich deutlich teurere getestet habe. Kann es nur empfehlen aber sollte jemand etwas lngere Haare haben aufpassen abundzu zeigt es mir ein Haar raus beim abnehmen. Habe aber auch eine etwas lngere Frisur.

I looked at the different offers and purchased a used but like new one and said the items box will be damage but luckily the item and the box were in top condition. The sound quality in these headsets are outstanding I am able to hear footsteps and explosions from miles away would recommend if you play games such as Rainbow Six Siege, don’t recommend if you are going to use these for music.

Ottima qualit dei materiali, e design decisamente economico, si adattano quasi perfettamente alla testa (tralasciando un piccolo difetto di aderenza, nel momento in cui la testa viene piegata in avanti tendono a scivolare).
Qualit del audio ottima direi, danno una buona percezione del luogo da cui proviene il suono, microfono funzionante, a parere di persone che mi hanno sentito parlare attraverso le cuffie funziona molto bene.
Ben confezionato, custodia rigida e compatta, contiene tutti i cavi di cui hai bisogno e le informazioni.

This is the seconds pair of headphones I’ve had from Astro and I honestly prefer the original A40’s to the A40 TR’s and I’ll explain why.
In terms of audio quality its excellent and having a mute button on the cable is pretty handy as well, having some extra volume control with it would be a bonus but isn’t necessary. Both the speaker and the mic are some of the best I’ve experienced.
In terms of confort I wear these for more of the day than I don’t wear them and I doesn’t cause any issues, you can almost forget they’re there.
My only major criticism is the paint along the headband scratches off really easily, something that never happened with my original A40’s and there doesn’t appear to be any easy way of dealing with this other than removing it all and rolling with a semi see-through headband.

Oggi grazie al programma Vine di cui faccio parte, ho avuto la possibilit di provare non per la prima volta un articolo del brand ASTRO, avendo per gi testato anche cuffie di altri brand sia cablate che bluetooth.
Non inoltre la prima cuffia Sovraurale (On-Ear) che provo da quando sono nel programma Vine grazie al quale ho gi provato Razer, Bose, HP, Logitech, Astro, Turtle Beach, Amazonbasics ecc con costi che andavano dalle 30 alle 500 euro.
Riassumendo quanto leggerete sotto posso dire che ci troviamo di fronte ad un buon prodotto dal:
– livello volume elevato …. molto
– suono PULITISSIMNO e mai distorto anche al massimo volume
– microfono di ottima qualit
– Utilizzabile non solo con PS4 ma anche con cellulare, PC, Mac, ed altre console compatibili con jack 3.5 mm quali Xbox e Nintendo.

MA VA SUBITO AGGIUNTO CHE QUESTA CUFFIA E’ PRIVA DI CONTROLLO VOLUME E MICROFONO ….. CHE VA EFFETTUATO TRAMITE:

Di seguito i dettagli della mia OTTIMA esperienza di utilizzo che ovviamente vanno letti sempre in relazione alla fascia di prezzo in cui il prodotto si colloca.

DESCRIZIONE PRODOTTO ed ESPERIENZA D’USO
partiamo col dire subito che questo prodotto offre a primo acchito una ECCELLENTE sensazione di solidit e qualit dei materiali e dell’assemblaggio.
Si tratta sostanzialmente di una cuffia Sovraurale (On-Ear) con filo e jack 3.5 mm, dall’aspetto gaming, ma comunque non eccessivo ….. quasi elegante direi ….. non appariscente in quanto privo di luci led, con la quale saremo in grado di:
– ovviamente giocare a qualunque console
– utilizzarla su PC (sia gaming che office, skype ecc)
– ascoltare musica con dispositivi audio e smart (cellulari/tablet)
– anche conversare al telefono se vogliamo CON l’ausilio della tecnologia di riduzione del rumore digitale ANC al microfono (cancellazione attiva del rumore di fondo)
– ovviamente SENZA poter gestire musica e telefonate tramite la cuffia non disponendo di comandi remoti presenti invece in cuffie dedicate a musica/telefonate

Appena presa in mano ed analizzata un minimo questa cuffia quel che si apprezza la robustezza esterma, la ottima cura dei particolari e qualit dei materiali utilizzati, il tutto messo in un design esterno per me molto gradevole, elegante ed aggressivo allo stesso tempo seppur assolutamente privo di lucette LED sparse qu e l che su altre cuffie ho visto … ma che troppo spesso hanno solo lo scopo di attirare l’utente … e magari distrarlo da altri aspetti che in una cuffia dovrebbero essere considerati prima di una banale lucetta.
Ma passiamo alle nostre cuffie che in dettaglio si caratterizzano per:
– peso non troppo ridotto (369 grammi) …… il contro di una struttura in metallo resistentissima
– Slitte scorrevoli regolabili in METALLO …… dalla ECCELLENTE sensazione di robustezza;
– la regolazione della slitta a scorrimento “continuo” .. quindi non del tipo auto-regolante con molla di richiamo;
– l’archetto in plastica ed ha la parte inferiore molto imbotta in schiuma non meglio definita (MEMORY FOAM ??) …… devo dire molto comoda, anche dopo ore di utilizzo non da fastidio
– padiglioni auricolari leggeri, rivestiti in TESSUTO ed imbottiti in schiuma non meglio definita (MEMORY FOAM ??) ……. devo dire molto comodi ma non come quelli in gel rinfrescante (in genere usato su prodotti pi costosi).
Devo dire che preferisco quelli rivestiti in similpelle ….. qui sono optional;
– i padiglioni permettono una discreta attenuazione (passiva) dai rumori esterni …. quelli in pelle migliorativi da questo punto di vista sono optional;
– i padiglioni SONO ruotabili di 90 gradi, e sia io che mio figlio non abbiamo avuto alcun problemi o fastidi indossandole anche per ore grazie ai padiglioni molto morbidi che permettono di adattarsi un po’ a tutte le conformazioni della testa dell’utilizzatore garantendo quindi sempre una esperienza confortevole;
– driver da 40 mm per audio di alta qualit con effetto direzionale SURROUND ….. valore nella norma per il diametro dei driver;
– cursore di regolazione del volume … come premesso ASSENTE;
– microfono posto sul padiglione sinistro (ma pu essere invertito) di tipo unidirezionale altamente sensibile che si concentra sulla nostra voce e riduce al minimo il rumore di fondo
– microfono con funzione di “mute” non con la “swivel-to-mute” (comodo – alza microfono per chiuderlo) ma con tasto nel filo del jack 3.5 … meglio del solito tastino da cercare a memoria sul padiglione;

NOTA: Come detto mancano rotella o cursore per la regolazione del volume microfono e volume in cuffia. Andr quindi tutto
regolato dal dispositivo (PC/Console) o dall’amplificatore dedicato ASTRO.

NOTA 2: come nota positiva (dipende dai punti di vista) posso dire che la ASTRO offre (a circa 60 ) la possibilit di personalizzare le proprie cuffie cambiando il materiale/colore del padiglione, del microfono e della parte laterale del padiglione. Cercate il “ASTRO Gaming A40 TR Cuffie Gaming Mod Kit, Generazione 3”.

—> QUALIT DEL SUONO, EQUALIZZAZIONE E DIREZIONALITA’
Come detto sopra il diametro delle capsule audio di 40 mm con magneti di materiale non noto (quindi immagino non al neodimio) ma posso dire dalla mia esperienza che la qualit audio OTTIMA, in linea con il prezzo di vendita.
Lo spettro di frequenza offerto da queste cuffie per me, come dice la stessa ASTRO, neutro, uniforme ed esteso quindi senza nessuna dominanza di frequenze.
Ma il gusto audio e come il cibo …. ognuno ha i suoi gusti …. ci significa che non potete escludere la necessit di acquistare il

Il volume in cuffia alto, molto alto e comunque mai distorto anche al massimo volume.

QUALIT AUDIO ed EQUALIZZAZIONE
Per testare la qualit audio oltre che ovviamente provarlo su PC/Xbox le ho provate in ascolto musicale con sorgenti digitali e devo dire che:
– se NON ATTIVIAMO L’EQUALIZZATORE del nostro programma di streaming il suono pulito, equilibrato in tutto il campo delle frequenze e soprattutto NON MAI DISTORTO, anche al massimo volume.
– se ATTIVIAMO L’EQUALIZZATORE il suono in cuffia segue esattamente e molto prontamente quanto noi chiediamo con l’equalizzatore per tutte le frequenze dalle basse alle alte … possiamo cos ottenere il suono che pi desideriamo
– i BASSI sono intensi, anche con equalizzatore spento, se vogliamo esagerare accendiamo anche l’equalizzatore ed attiviamo Bass Enhancement e diventano vibranti . Insomma ce n’ per tutti i gusti

DIREZIONALITA’ e SURROUND
In ambito gaming dobbiamo dire che la direzionalit del suono ECCELLENTE, e negli FPS questo aiuta a capire in anticipo da dove possono venire i nemici o i pericoli.
Nonostante la mancanza del surround nelle cuffie (senza MixAmp), il palcoscenico sonoro relativamente ampio, il che aiuta nell’immersione nel gioco. Questo pu essere ampliato ulteriormente rimuovendo i coperchi laterali (design aperto) e utilizzando il MixAmp Pro TR.

—> CONFORT D’UTILIZZO
Non sono leggerissime quando indossate (peso 369 grammi), come tutte quelle professionali dotate di robuste strutture in metallo …. quelle pi leggere sono in plastica;
– ad ogni modo risultano comode grazie alle accortezze del suo design che garantisce una vestibilit con minore pressione su testa ed orecchie che non surriscalda la testa
– comodi i padiglioni auricolari che per nella versione base in tessuto garantiscono un solo DISCRETO isolamento sonoro dai rumori esterni
– per migliori caratteristiche di isolamento sonoro dai rumori esterni va acquistato il suddetto modkit
– padiglioni auricolari ovviamente non SONO riempiti in gel rinfrescante che garantiscono minor calore sulle orecchie anche con utilizzo intenso …. gel IN GENERE presente su queste fasce di prezzo
– I comandi come detto sono essenziali, manca regolazione volume microfono e cuffie ….. per cui andr tutto regolato da console o men gioco.

Da pagina Amazon e sito ASTRO inoltre possiamo evincere ulteriori caratteristiche di questo set che sono:
– Impedenza .. 48 ohms
– Livello di pressione sonora: …. non nota …. ma volume udibile alto in cuffia
– Risposta in frequenza: …. 20 – 20,000 Hz …. ottima sensazione durante l’ascolto;
– THD, distorsione armonica totale . non nota ….. ma sicuramente buona dato che non si avvertono distorsioni;
– sensibilit microfono … non nota, ma buone le telefonate e le chat Skype oltre che ovviamente durante gaming

– provata chat su console e PC …. molto buon l’audio percepito da altra parte;
– Provate inoltre diverse telefonate e chat skipe, dal mio lato che la voce in cuffia era sempre chiara e pulita come pure dal lato di chi riceveva la telefonata;
insomma, microfono molto soddisfacente per la fascia di prezzo con sistema di “riduzione” rumori che sembra svolgere bene il suo lavoro.

MIO VOTO FINALE 4 STELLE, rimuovo una stella per gli acquisti quasi obbligati quali padiglioni in pelle ed amplificatore sommando i quali si pu guardare anche altri brand blasonati che offrono soluzioni di regolazione volume/micorofono integrate nella cuffia stessa oltre che cuffie in pelle e riempimento gel.

Astro hat mich mächtig überzeug
hatte bisher echt viele headsets getestet nachdem mein g633 von logitech nicht mehr funktionierte.
und astro hat mich echt berzeugt.
eigentlich ist hier alles gut. kein manko.
das cloud alpha hatte zwar eine bessere hifi qualitt, (der sound war kristallklar) aber das headset war ungemtlich. ausserdem ist es nach 2 tagen defekt gewesen. bin relativ gross vom kopfmher und ohren auch.
aber hifi qualitt juckt mich nicht so. musik ist auch auf den astro verdammt gut. keine nervigen hhen und normaler bass.
glnzen tut es auch beim schritte hren. ich hre die schritte prziser als jemals zuvor.
wenn ich nix anderes finde werde ich warscheinlich bei astro bleiben.
die qualitt wenn man das ding aus der box holt hat mich echt beeindruckt. der karton war recht schwer und wertig 😀

Habe mir das gut Stck vor ein paar Wochen bestellt gehabt und bin sehr zufrieden. Am Anfang musste ich mich mit Amazon kurzschliessen, da die erste Lieferung wohl ein Montagsmodell war und ich es wieder zurck gehen lassen musste aber ich muss sagen nicht mal zwei Tage spter kam die ersatzlieferung Und was soll ich sagen? Top einfach!!!!! Tiefen sind gut zu hren und bei Spielen wie COD wo man die Footsteps gut hren sollte wurde ich bei diesem Headset nicht enttuscht. Klangqualitt ist auch sehr klar meines Erachtens. Die Verarbeitung ist ohne scharfe Kanten und sehr hochwertig verarbeitet worden. Fr meine Anforderungen ( Competitive- und Publicgaming) total zufriedenstellend. Alles in allen ein Headset was ich persnlich immer weiterempfehlen wrde.
Ho acquistato queste cuffie Astro A40 TR senza Mixamp per PS4 principalmente per giocare a Rainbow Six Siege e devo dire che sono di una qualit paurosa. Rispetto alle precedenti cuffie, le turtle beach stealth 300 ( cuffie di fascia media ), i passi si distinguono in maniera perfetta ed i bassi sono limpidi. Le ho provate anche sul mio MacBook e, potendo settare il suono, rendono ancora meglio ( non a caso esiste il Mixamp ). In conclusione sono delle cuffie di fascia alta sotto tutto i punti di vista ( materiali, suono e comodit ), ovviamente con l’aggiunta del Mixamp fai un ulteriore salto di qualit.
P.S. il Mixamp non di fondamentale importanza, il volume delle cuffie, quello del microfono e anche il rapporto audio party/gioco pu essere tranquillamente settato dalle impostazioni della ps.
Costruzione mediocre, audio spaziale
L’audio di questo prodotto fenomenale seppur un po’ basso se non accoppiato con un MixAmp TR, venduto separatamente. Purtroppo le cuffie sono quasi completamente fatte di plastica ed emettono rumori non proprio confortanti una volta sottoposte a stress. Sono comunque costruite bene. Il microfono di buona qualit e non ho riscontrato problemi nella comunicazione durante lunghe sessioni videoludiche. Sono un prodotto molto costoso che per faranno la differenza in intense battaglie virtuali !

Sehr Gutes Headset, aber...
Das Astro A40TR ist an sich echt ein gutes Headset. Der Sound ist ohne Mixamp echt gut, wenn man aber ein Mixamp hat, ist der Sound wirklich sehr gut. Was auch richtig gut ist, ist dass man fast alle Teile beim Astro A40TR austauschen kann und das sogar ganz einfach. Da gibt es jedoch wieder ein Problem, da man ein Modkit fr 60 kaufen muss, was extrem teuer ist, fr das was man bekommt. Das Tragegefhl am Ohr ist echt genial, doch auch hier gibt es ein Problem, ich finde die Kopfpolsterung ist viel zu klein, fr so ein Headset und vor allem bietet Astro keine grere Polsterung. Nach einer halben Stunde tut mein Kopf weh, da die Polsterung sehr klein ist. Da ist aber wieder Geschmacks und Typ Sache. Im Groen und Ganzen ein gutes Headset, mit kleineren Mngel. Jedoch ist der Preis viel zu hoch fr das was man bekommt. Relativ schade, da das Headset echt stabil ist.
Qui ci sarebbe da scrivere un papiro per queste cuffie ma cercher di racchiudere tutto in poche righe.
1) parto dall’unico difetto che ho trovato : L’arco di tessuto e spugna che appoggia sulla testa NON particolarmente comodo, durante le sessioni di gioco prolungate mi sono reso conto che spesso e volentieri vado a spostare le cuffie per non sentire il peso sempre nello stesso punto.
2) esteticamente il contrasto alluminio/plastica mi piace moltissimo.
3) grazie a dei padiglioni morbidi e abbastanza grandi, l’orecchio isolato ,ma non troppo,dai rumori esterni. La composizione in tessuto e spugna degli stessi, fa in modo che il suono riprodotto non rimbombi nel padiglione ma ne lascia assaporare tutta la limpidezza e pulizia.
4) il microfono regolabile in tutte le direzioni e si ha la possibilit di sganciarlo se non si vuole usare. Grazie al programma da scaricare possibile regolare tutto sia del microfono che dei padiglioni.
Nel complesso : voto 9 / 10 visto il peso delle cuffie si poteva fare in modo di renderle pi comode sulla testa. Per il resto le comprerei altre 1000 volte.

Great sound, though I also recently acquired a Sennheiser pair which are a tad better. However, they’re also 100 more expensive. For the price difference though, the sound quality and construction quality are very very nearly on par, so not really worth the extra investment in my opinion.
Overall, these fit nicely and are comfortable to wear of a period of time. The sound is great for gaming (PS4). I don’t use the microphone so cannot comment on that.
Also, they look great!
Vere cuffie da gamer con ottimi audio e comfo
Queste Astro A40 TR sono state realizzate anche con i suggerimenti dei fan Astro di tutto il mondo, e si vede. Innanzi tutto spezzo una lancia a favore del cavo: per me rimane il modo migliore per collegare una periferica da gaming a un PC; il wireless comodo ma il cavo una garanzia.
Venendo al prodotto, ha alcuni pregi enormi: le cuffie pesano poco, sono comode e si possono indossare a lungo senza fatica. Inoltre l’audio eccellente e il software a corredo di primissima qualit.
L’unico difetto vero che ci vedo sta nel design, che potrebbe non piacere a tutti: ci sono cuffie che costano meno che hanno un aspetto pi lussuoso.
Il prezzo consono alla qualit e all’affidabilit. Se non avete la fissa per le cuffie senza fili, queste Astro A40 TR sono il migliore acquisto per chi voglia spendere attorno ai 120 – 130 euro.
I purchased the black/blue headset mostly for Xbox One without the MixAmp (the box prominently states for PS4 though, not sure why it is ‘made for PS4’).
I think the sound is great for Xbox gaming, music and movie watching. I have an issue with comfort unfortunately. The headsets hurt both of my ears and head around the ears, mainly the left side one — I can feel my ear on yeh speaker driver. It seems like the headset is very comfortable at first and it takes maybe 30 minutes or so to begin to get painful. The top of my head also aches a little with the thin padding and I have no hair at all so that does not help. It also starts to give me a headache, I think. I had considered buying the mod kit but I don’t want to pay another 45+ ish for them when I will only really want to use the ear pads and the top cushion. Anyway, the leather pads do not seem that much thicker than the stock ones. I prefer open backed design and apparently the mic is not as good as the stock one so I expect I would not use the microphone of speaker tags.
Speaking of the microphone. I think it sounds good and it’s useful that it rotates all the way around. I am not bothered it cannot be muted because I attached the headset to the Xbox stereo adaptor which makes it easier to adjust volume and mute the mic (It’s a very good ‘thing’ and if you don’t have the adaptor you should get one).
The cable is rubbery, long and removable but at the top and where the main jack is, is quite long before the cable material starts and it can interfere with clothes I am wearing if they have a high collar. I If turn my head to the left the cable kind of gets in the way because it’s so stiff. I hope that explanation is clear. It’s not too bad though and I could live with that minor issue.
The headset is simple and quick to adjust and finding the right position is easy and the ear cups move a little bit while on your head.
The volume of the headset while listening to music is slightly less loud than HyperX headsets I have tried and I can increase the volume to maximum on my Android phone, but I’d not want to listen to music that loudly. In-game sounds are loud enough and I would not want to play games at max volume as that would be too high. I tried Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos on the Xbox and IMO Windows Sonic sounds better
I expect this headset will be returned to Amazon in the new year because of the comfort issue I have, if the pads were thicker or if there were third-party pads that would fit, I expect I would give them a go and hopefully that would mean I could continue using the headset.
I am disappointed because the headset is pretty good otherwise. Definitely one of the best I’ve tried and I’ve tried a lot!

Niveau confort les coussinets sont bien moelleux et confortables, idal pour de longues sessions de gaming. Je recommande fortement ce casque pour les gamers.

Das Astro A40 TR Gaming Headset hat eine gute Ton Qualitt und verfgt auch ber ein gutes Mikrofon. Es ist kabelgebunden und verzichtet auch auf Features wie Noise Cancelling.
Leider ist die Mute-Funktion nicht wie bei meinem vorherigen Headset (einem Sennheiser Game One) ber das Mikrofon selbst mglich, sondern wird hier ber einen Mute-Switch am Kabel bettigt. Dafr ist hier aber das Mikrofon etwas klarer bei der Sprachbertragung. Das Mikrofon ist abnehmbar und so auch einfach auszutauschen.
Bei den Kabeln handelt es sich um Gummikabel. Das erste Kabel mit dem Mute-Switch ist 2 Meter lang und somit lang genug fr jeden Konsolen-Spieler. Fr PC-Spieler liegt ein PC-Splitter Kabel bei, welches weitere 1,5 Meter lang ist und damit in meinem Fall lang genug ist.
Optisch macht das Headset einiges her, so kann man zum Beispiel an beiden Ohrmuscheln sogenannte Speaker Tags austauschen, diese kosten allerdings extra und sind in Mod-Kits von Astro direkt enthalten. Dadurch werden die Mglichkeiten gegeben das Headset so zu gestalten, wie man es gerne htte. Die Qualitt und Aufmachung des Headsets sind sehr gut. Auerdem liegt das Headset bequem auf dem Kopf, was bei langen Gaming Sessions von Vorteil ist.
Fazit:
Das Headset ist vom Klang und der Mikrofon Qualitt her Top. Allerdings kann es manchmal nervig sein, dass das Headset ber das Kabel gemutet werden muss, was jetzt allerdings kein Grund ist einen Stern abzuziehen, da die positiven Seiten diese Kleinigkeit berspielen.

Als mein Mann wieder mit dem Online-Spielen anfing, hat er sich den Sony MDR-7506 Studio-Kopfhrer geschlossen” zugelegt und war absolut begeistert. Da dieser Kopfhrer kein Mikrofon hat und mein Mann keine Lust mehr auf ein externes Mikrofon hatte, war das Beyerdynamic MMX 300 Premium geschlossener Over-Ear Gaming-Headset” seine nchste Wahl. Auch wenn dieses Headset nicht an die Klangqualitt des Sony-Kopfhrers herankommt, war mein Mann zufrieden nun alles in einem zu haben.
Nun kam dieses Astro-Headset. Es sieht ausgesprochen gut aus und fhlt sich sehr hochwertig an. Auf den Ohren macht es sich dann leider nicht ganz so gut. Es sitzt bei weitem nicht so bequem, wie das Headset von Beyerdynamic.
Richtig praktisch ist, dass man das Mikrofon an diesem Headset komplett entfernen kann. Das ist beim Headset von Beyerdynamic nicht der Fall. Mchte man also einzeln spielen, Musik hren, YouTube gucken kann man dies ohne Mikrofon tun. Auch ist das Mikrofon besser, als gedacht. Uns gefllt es vom Ton her besser, als das Mikrofon des Beyerdynamic. Von daher kann man nicht meckern.

Wir mchten das Headset nicht schlecht reden, denn das ist es ganz bestimmt nicht. Das Mikrofon ist besser, als erwartet und der Ton ist nicht schlecht, aber eben auch nicht berragend. Wer mit einem durchschnittlichen Ton zufrieden ist, ist mit dem Astro Gaming-Headset sicher zufrieden. Wer dagegen auch den Ton mehr Wert legt, sollte etwas mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen und zu dem Beyerdynamic greifen. Wer es perfekt und gnstiger haben mchte, wird mit einer Kombination aus einem normalen Kopfhrer und einem zustzlichen Mikrofon sicher am glcklichsten- falls man nicht (wie mein Mann) genervt ist von zu viel Zeug auf dem Schreibtisch.
Fr dieses ausgesprochen schicke Headset gibt es drei bis vier Sterne!

Headphones Don't Come Bette
Headphones are such an upclose and personal thing. You wear them like clothing so they must be comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Then, you listen to what they produce really closely, so if the sound is no good, there’s no getting away from it. They also have to be convenient to use and to be easily controllable. They also need to be tough cos at some stage you are going to drop them or sit on them. When you think about it those are a very exacting and unique set of product requirements. Little wonder then that most headphones disappoint in one or more ways and unless you are going to spend a lot of money on headphones it very often comes down to choosing your disappointment.
But not these.
These are the most comfortable headphones I have ever used. By no means lightweight, they nevertheless manage to allow you to forget you are wearing them. Very adjustable and nicely done.
Being for gaming they have a mic of course, and you can attach that either side by following the clear provided instructions. The quality of the sound from the microphone is – I would say – studio mic quality and nicely directional with superb pickup of the wearer and not much pickup of background noise.
But the crowning glory is the sound reproduction which is just superb, managing to do bright sparkling treble at the same time as deep rich undistorted bass. I have intentionally been through classical, jazz, pop, rock, folk and electronic music items – even a sound effects album – looking for something that these do not reproduce well, full marks on them all. I cant ever remember having had headphones that could do that.!
So these are state of the art my friends and I will hope to be using them for many years to come and of headphones ever do come any better then these I will be very surprised.
Hat mich voll berzeugt auch wenn es ein lteres Modell ist von Astro bin ich total zufrieden.

Die Auswahl an Headsets fr Gamer ist mittlerweile sehr gro. Von dem einer Konsole beiliegenden bis hin zum quasi Luxus-Wireless Headset gibt’s fr jeden Geldbeutel und die persnlichen Vorstellungen das geeignete Modell. Bisher haben hauptschlich Headsets von Turtle Beach und Logitech meine Zockerabende begleitet. Das letzte erworbene Modell war dann logischerweise auch mal ein All-round-Head-Set, welches ich an Xbox One, PS 4 und PC nutzen kann. Kann das ASTRO Gaming A40 TR Gen 4 diesen Allrounder eventuell ablsen?
Fangen wir einfach mal von vorn an:
-> Sound:
Der Sound ist sicherlich der wichtigste Aspekt bei einem Headset. Und fr meine Ottonormalverbraucherohren ist es hier mit das Beste, was diese bisher zu hren bekommen haben. Klare Tne, saubere Bsse und beim Chat tolle Sprachausgabe sowie sehr gutes Verstehen meiner Stimme runden das Ganze perfekt ab. Egal ob ihr bei Fifa die Stadionatmosphre geniet, bei Forza euch die Motoren in den Ohren scheppern, bei Call of Duty euch die Kugeln um die Ohren fliegen oder ihr bei Star Citizen das Weltall genieen wollt. Am Sound selbst knnt ihr leider nichts verndern, dazu bentigt ihr das MixAmp. Bei Xbox One oder PS 4 ist es aber mglich, im Men noch einige Einstellungen vorzunehmen. Diese beziehen sich auf die Lautstrke, den Chat und die Kombination aus Sound fr Chat und Spiel.
-> Tragekomfort:
Das Headset hat ohrenumschlieende Muscheln, welche mit weichem Obermaterial gearbeitet sind. Dieses liegt angenehm auf und auch nach mehreren Stunden gibt es kein Drcken oder hnliches. Da ich Brillentrger bin, hat das fr mich schon sehr groe Bedeutung, denn nichts ist unangenehmer als wenn einem bereits nach zehn Minuten die Ohren schmerzen, weil Brille und Headset nicht zusammenpassen. Diese Erfahrung habe ich bei diesem Headset nicht gemacht. Der Bgel liegt ebenfalls gut gepolstert auf der Schdeldecke und sorgt in Kombination mit den Ohrmuscheln fr einen ausgezeichneten Halt. Ein Verrutschen ist selbst in hektischen Spielsituationen nicht zu erwarten. Das Headset kann stufenlos auf eigentlich jede Kopfgre angepasst werden.
-> Anschluss:
Das Headset wird mittels Kabel (3,5 mm) mit dem PC (hier gibt’s zustzlich noch einen Splitter) oder direkt mit dem Controller der Xbox One oder PS 4 verbunden. Im Vergleich zu anderen kabelgebundenen Headsets fr Konsolen ist das Kabel lang genug, um irgendwie zu stren. Betrachtet man aber den Weg zu PC, dann knnte es dem ein oder anderen zu kurz sein. Hier ist es sicherlich schwierig einen guten Mittelweg zu finden. Egal ob PC oder Konsole, alle Systeme erkennen ohne Probleme das Headset.
-> Chat:
Am Headset ist ein Mikro verbaut. Dieses ist standardmig auf der linken Seite montiert. Es kann abgenommen und auf der rechten Seite ebenfalls montiert werden. Mchte man chatten, so klappt man das Teil einfach nach vorn, schaltet es ein und los geht’s. Eure Stimme wird super bertragen und meine Partyfreunde sagen, dass ich klar und sauber ankomme sowie auch laut genug bin.
-> Verarbeitung:
Das Headset macht schon beim Auspacken einen sehr hochwertigen und gut verarbeiteten Eindruck. Sicherlich hat der Kunststoff gewonnen, jedoch ist das Headset dadurch auch relativ leicht und drckt auch nicht bei langen Spielsessions auf Grund des Gewichts. Alles ist gut und stabil verbaut. Erst mit der Zeit wird sich zeigen ob dieser Eindruck Bestand hat oder eher nicht. Momentan wirkt alles wie aus einem Guss und auch die markanten Stellen, wie z.B. der bergang von den Ohrmuscheln zum Bgel, wirken solide und robust und fhlen sich auch so an.
Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, dass ASTRO hier schon ein schnes Headset auf den Markt geschmissen hat. Sound, Chat, Verarbeitung und vor allem der Tragekomfort wissen zu begeistern.
