    3 cables…USB 3.0, HDMI y Display Port

    100% recomendado. De 10.

Its beautiful display with too many issues, shouldn’t be sold to the public, as the monitor is not ready yet, Asus hasn’t finished the job. I have to send it back after one week of use, the panel develop horizontal lines a cross is visible on grey background, also HDR is washed out. After upgrading to V033, andcouldn’t wake up the monitor after restarting, I have to switch the monitor off and turn it back on manually, on V033 HDR was even worse (the colours were extremely washed out in HDR).What is the point of having HDR and not using it? I had no choice but to roll back to the previous my original V028 firmware. Most people are complaining about it, costing too much money with too many issues. I have no chance to play one game. It is a shame that Asus cannot still resolve the issue. Will definitely wait for the next release, I hope to be better with improvement. Come on Asus please fix this with an update or the next monitor version. Thanks to Amazon for all help, and amazing customer service.

    Gorgeous OLED with disappointme

Was the best OLED on the market at the time of purchase that was 42″ (I would have loved a 38″ OLED monitor, but they are not a thing.)

HDR is ok, but tend to run for productivity, gaming and video consumption so switching between HRD and SDR is a pain, that said SDR with SRGB is great and since I use in a low light room, it also has exceptional brightness and little to no reflections.

I do have most screen protections active, and do a pixel refresh when asked, and again before turning off (yes it does an auto pixel clean if you leave it in standby.)

No screen burn use for daily production (writing, and coding) and refresh on average 2-3 times a day) I do tend to use dark mode on most apps, but certainly not all.

all in all, pretty happy so far.

The most infuriating thing about this monitor is the poor documentation on how to set up the functions for a non experienced person.
    1) If you want Armoury Crate to see you have a Aura Sync monitor you must plug in the USB cables
    2) There is software updates and apps that this monitor can use, but if you want it you have to go to the monitors web page and use the support menu to find it.
    3) The monitor behind the screen menu can be a bit fiddly to find and use at first, but what the lack of documentation tells you is how to get to use some of the greyed out options. It is a case of you turn on this, something else gets turned off, but how are you to know that for first time use?
    4) there are still things I’ve not figured out yet, like the menu says I’m in Racing Mode, the App tells me there are more modes and how to adjust them, but nothing to say how to swap between those modes.

There is the usual 24 window delay for Asus email support, which I used to find out how to get Armoury Crate to know I had a new monitor installed. It was as professional as you would expect, but totally unable to deal with the problem I had and referred me to a how to install Armoury Crate again. This boiler plate check list replies is also typical of some agents these days, what happened to reading the users email and realise the user says AC was working so why wasn’t it seeing the monitor. Oh have you plugged in the USB so the PC can see it?

It is a shame I have to moan here about it, but by not moaning here Asus might never get the memo to update the documentation to help consumers get the most out of the functions they purchased.

Other than that I can state this new generation of 1440p monitors is far superior in colour quality to my older 2018 BenQ 1440p monitor and even older 2010 1080p HannsG. So the only fault the hardware I can find is like the other two LED monitors I’ve owned, they still insist on putting the cables sockets in a such a way to make it that you have to have the whole monitor face down so you can insert the cables. I’m always afraid of the monitor slipping and crashing to the floor as I tilt it over.

So buy the 329, your not wasting your money on an inferior product. But like I’ve written, you’ll have to figure out how to make some things work by yourself

    i upgraded to this from a PG348Q.

Really blown away by my new monitor, the colours are so vivid and the image so crisp.
still learning how to make use of all the features etc but so far am very happy.

its really really huge and quite heavy, so make sure you have the necessary deskspace for it and have room enough to move your mouse / keyboard and sit back so its not too overwhelming up close.
Also make sure you got a decent enough GPU to make the most of it too when gaming.

Perfect size, 165hz is all you need and unless you have the best pc there is 1440p is also all you need. Looks great for movies and games and HDR is nothing incredible but it definitely adds to HDR content more than it takes away. 10/10 monitor would buy agai

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersThe 42 Inch size is just right, I’m just over 2ft away from the screen and I’ve been using this for over a month now.

I use this for gaming and work/productivity – so using 8+ hours a day
    – Display Port to a CalDigit TS4
    – HDMI 2.1 to main desktop running 3090
    – No issues with burn in so far, still early days.
    – General day to day emails/web/admin
    – Gaming (Overwatch/Call of Duty/ etc)
    – Light photo editing

I have this attached to an Ergotron HX with the HD Head a little still to move around because of the size and weight but stays in place but still gives me the flexibility to move it around.
Did have to get a 100×100 to 300/400 adapter to get this attached but solid otherwise.

    Pros

    – 4K 138, Feels like my old 240hz 1440p LCD in regard to responsiveness
    – Adaptive Sync – Gsync Compatible (Seems to be working, not totally sure but feels like it’s not as good as a Gsync module but that might just be me)
    – 42 Inch size is just about right size for work and also gaming
    – Uniform brightness works great – rarely notice brightness dips when extending a full white window
    – Connectivity options, DisplayPort, 2 HDMI 2.1 and 2 2.0 Ports – can connect loads to this thing.
    – Inclusion of a USB Hub
    – OSD is really easy to navigate
    – OLED protection features are not noticeable from my point of view (assuming it does the job to protect the panel)
    – Speakers are good for general day to day/Teams/Zoom Calls, I’d go elsewhere for music and gaming 🙂

    Cons

    – Included Stand, didn’t even bother installing it as it would have been a problem for the depth of my desk.
    – Firmware releases from Asus could be better tested, maybe wait a little before jumping on it right away
    – The tripod mount at the top of the screen is pointless – it would be nice if they included an attachment but it’s too high for a webcam from my point of view.
    – The included cables are little on the short side, would be nice if they included another meter for cleaner runs.
    – UK Power Cable provided is not a left/right angle out, so it kind of sticks out the side of the screen
    – The cable cover where the inputs are, a little tight, as this is magnetic doesn’t really close properly if you put to many cables in there.

There were some issues with the firmware that were pushed out by Asus that had some issues such as
    – Bricking on v32 – this was removed (took them a little time to do this)
    – V31 had sleep issues if you were running the display in OC 138hz mode, though I did see someone complaining about this and they were button mashing the remote. (Press it once, wait a sec for it to turn off and then press it again and it would come back to life)
    – v34 is out and seems the most stable, I did have a sleep issue still, but I think this was my TS4 dock as since updating the firmware here it’s been good for the last day

Generally speaking, this is a good quality monitor the price is a high ask but if you can why not.
Performance is good and colours pop and are accurate.

The biggest points here are OLED / Blacks are Black, and the near instant responsiveness puts it on par with a 240hz monitor (Respectively a Dell AW2721D which I was using previously as the main monitor)

Firmware issues are behind them now from what I can tell for the most part.

Wait for Stable / Trusted firmware Releases - Otherwise solid option / though a little expensive

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’m using this as my main monitor for a Mac Studio. Used to use a 2017 imac 5K
The OLED colours and HDR do look amazing on this screen.
    Got it connected via DisplayPort
Did have some Mac-related issues, volume control and brightness didn’t work, I had to install a 3rd party app to adjust volume and brightness (Monitor Control)
Mainly use it for Video editing in Davinci Resolve and creating websites in Elementor
    plus screen recording tutorials.
If your workflow is text intensive you should probably look at a different monitor as the PPI is low compared to a 5k Mac screen. Screen recordings look softer too.
Video editing and gaming its fantastic, the DCI P3 color gamut is great. Comes with a calibration certificate
Updating the monitor firmware is very straightforward, you need a PC to do it, no update software for Mac which is super annoying, had to borrow a windows laptop to update the firmware. Data cable is included in the box. Download a bin file, upload it to the monitor. I’m running version V032.

The screen can be very slow to wake up when connected to mac
Text is not very sharp even in 4K
It usually asks me twice a day to do pixel cleaning which takes around 6 minutes per clean. I have the safety features enabled to prevent OLED burn-in

    Photoshop and Lightroom
Images do look amazing on 42″ and the colors totally pop

I really hope in the next version of this screen they can increase the PPI for desktop use
Ive been getting eye strain and headaches since swapping monitors and that’s only when working with text and emails
Video Editing, Photo editing and gaming is fine.
Will probably wall mount it and use it as a second monitor, get another 5k Mac Studio Display just for text and screen recording
If your gonna be gaming or video editing then its fantastic for tha

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirstly, if you have a screen with four dead pixels or less ASUS deem this acceptable and wont approve a refund, if you get a dodgy unit just send it back for a refund, I had to haggle with Amazon for a replacement, they wanted to contact ASUS so i could send pictures of the screen which in turn ASUS would approve a return or not etc…instead of just replacing the thing.
Dont get me wrong the fully functional as advertised replacement is great, smooth 175hz refresh, clear bright IPS screen albeit with medium IPS glow to the bottom left but i can live with tha

Out of the box the colours were over saturated and quite green to my eyes (though everyone’s eyes are different so bear that in mind). But once I’d set it up to my liking it is simply incredible. I’ve never had a screen which can do colours like this before, it has changed a lot of games for me. Interestingly two of the games which most benefitted from it are Rimworld and Elite Dangerous which suddenly looked better and crisper than ever before (Red Dead Online also looks stunning).

The speed is also exceptional (natively sets to 165hz and I’ve seen no reason to overclock it to 175hz) the response time feels like 1ms g2g, (All my other screens advertise they are 1ms g2g but they don’t feel like they are in comparison to this). There is only a tiny bit of ghosting on bright reds (specifically Yarrow plants in Red Dead Online) but compared to my 32″ gigabyte VA screen, this screen has an incredible lack of ghosting.

Even the blacks are good which people say is the Achilles heel of IPS panels, in fact the blacks are so good Elite Dangerous looks much better on this IPS screen than my VA screen. There is a miniscule amount of backlight bleed but you’d only notice it if you stare at a completely black screen for a full minute and who does that?

Oh and if you are wondering if 32″ is too big for a desk monitor, I’d say its the perfect size, in fact going back to a 24″ screen afterwards is painful.

The stand looks good, is very stable, doesn’t take up too much desk space considering its pretty big and it was very easy to setup. The software is fairly good. The USB hub is good.

The only way this screen could be improved is if the HDR was better, if it was 4k and if it was curved but curved IPS panel screens are pretty rare and this would cost a fortune if it was 4k. I got this for 550 on black Friday, can’t recommend it enough, I really doubt a better screen exists at 32″ 1440p and its so good I don’t think I’ll ever buy another VA panel screen ever again. Worth every single penny.

    Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Purchased this monitor originally in 2019 for COD:MW, I just HAD to experience it in the best fidelity, and for the first time, in HDR. It was marvellous, truly brings another layer of atmosphere when the deep blacks contrast with the flames. Of course I’ve played dozens of other AAA titles since then and this monitor performed swimmingly in every one.

Ultrawide is excellent, 95% of modern games will support it so no worries there. You can also consider how a lot of movies are produced in the 21:9 aspect ratio, so the film will fill the whole screen, when watching netflix or 4k blu rays.

Only downside for me would be the lack of DSC (Display Stream Compression) which allows for higher resolution with higher refresh rates. This monitor does 3440×1440 @ 200hz max but I run mine at 3440×1440 @ 144hz, the maximum you can push it and maintain 10bit colour, the higher refresh rates go to 8bit. This also coincides with the black ghosting/smearing users of this monitor have experienced, you’ll notice it, however you will get used to it and it won’t be as noticeable during gameplay.

Value for money is questionable, there’s cheaper alternatives now but when I was searching for a new monitor this was the most attractive option. I suggest purchasing when it drops to 1700, i’ve seen it priced here for that much before.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis is a true 4k mini LED panel, 32 inches at 144hz with HDR support. You are here considering spending double or triple more than the alternative monitors you are looking at, maybe you are considering a much larger OLED TV for use as a monitor. This was me.

I wanted a next gen monitor, the 32 inch size was a managable step up from 27 inch one I had been using for 6 years, I was slightly worried about the size but in the end on my desk it fits fine. I positioned it on the corner of my desk which has a curved edge and easily the stand fits on fine. I seem to sit almost the same position with the old one, and it is comfortable.

The picture is awesome, obviously. I play FPS games and to upgrade from 1440p to 4k is amazing, it is almost like hacking I can see details so far away. I was concerned about the response time being 4ms instead of the “competitive” standard of 1ms, but the effect of this has not been noticeable at all, 4k makes the image crisp so there’s no noticeable blur and I have no problem reacting to people coming around corners. The HDR and local dimming bring the screen dark/shadows to oled TV standards, all fit neatly in your 32 inch at your workstation. I had also read and seen screenshots of haloing light spots around the mouse on a black screen and was concerned, and I can confirm this is the case, it is to do with the dimmable zones on the screen reacting to your totally white mouse on a black background, but this is not a phenomenon you notice in normal use and definitely not when it comes to gaming.

The advantage of this monitor over everything else out there is that 4k is amazing at 144hz, this screen offers amazing a fantastic 4k picture at 32inch and with GSYNC ultimate so you can pump the frames with the best of the current generation of GPUs (3080ti/3090) you need one of these at least. The next level monitor specs will make sure it will last many generations, you will replace the GPU long before the monitor. I bought my last monitor in 2015, the ROG Swift 27inch 1440p at 144hz, that was a similar generation pioneering model as well, and I imagine the new specification will remain relevant and competitive for just as long. In the meantime I can enjoy being able to see better than everyone else during gaming and so having this expensive advantage.

And yeah you really are going to need a 3080ti or 3090 to really get those frames and resolution up for a demanding 4k. There is a website called “HowManyFPS” which calculates what FPS your favorite titles will run at 4k with which graphics card.

Edit: I saw a comment complaining about defects on the screen, I can only say I didn’t have any. Your opinion on Amazon returns will guide your decision on that.

Does exactly what it says. Go for it. Coming from someone who owns both PS5, Xbox series x as well as a gaming laptop. No speakers. Just use any Bluetooth speaker with Aux cable. Sorted.

120fps is the reason I went for this. 120fps Call of Duty and Destiny 2 crucible are a treat. Monitor has a fancy UX which can display the frames for you. As a fun activity I let it on sometimes whole playing single players like Metro, Ghost of Tsushima, Gears of War etc.. to see the frame rate drop as to see why it happened in the game or what caused it.

Excellent brightness HDR turned off. Definitely decent brightness in a semi lit room HDR on. Just do yourself a favour and be practical. Turn it off. Enjoy your shows. Watched Narcos, Loki, The Walking Dead(season 10 n 11), What if(5 episodes), Ted Lasso etc.. Awesome quality and experience. Go for it!

I had a cheaper LG VA panel and this is a nice upgrade over that. Faster panel is nice but the overall contrast/brightness is improved enough for me that I can play with more light on the screen.
I dont use HDR as there are not many panels that do true HDR at this price point. Overall I am very happy.

    – Sehr sehr groe Farbraumabdeckung

I’ve had this monitor for a few weeks, meets the specs, it’s crisp and bright and well built, the height adjuster is useful and the aesthetics are not too ott for a gaming monitor. The RGB lights on the back are useless, even in a dark room they don’t illuminate the wall behind the monitor, in normal use you never see them. The power brick gets super hot, I wouldn’t put it on your best shagpile carpet, seriously it might melt it. I did alot of research and shortlisted many monitors before I decided upon this one. If your looking for a big none-curved monitor then I can recommend this monitor.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersDer ASUS ROG Swift PG259QN zeigt sich im gewohnten ROG-Look.

I’ve been using a 27″ 1440 IPS screen but when I noticed this ASUS Ultrawide had been reduced to 1,800 from 2,300 due to the Amazon Black Friday 2020 sale, I bought it. Still a very expensive gaming monitor but I’m really enjoying playing games on it. Lovely colours, better/deeper blacks than my previous IPS screen, up to 200Hz refresh, G-Synch Ultimate. I also updated my gaming computer so I now have an ASUS Rog Strix 3080 OC graphics card and I’ve fixed the refresh rate to 144Hz with 10 bit colour. The latest games won’t work quicker than this and that’s before we mention Cyberpunk 2077 LOL.
If you can afford this screen then this is the one to go for, took me all of 3 seconds to adapt to ultrawide gaming.

Coming from an LG 850, the difference is astounding. The Asus PG329Q is fast, fluid and has amazing colours. My unit had no dead pixels or IPS glow, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

    Funziona col firmware nuovo

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis monitor offers all the things you might want on a high end panel. It’s a great 16:9 panel with great response time on it’s 175hz overclock. The base refresh rate is 165hz and the HDR is really good, with traditional HDR problems on QLEDs (some halo is noticeable if you enable it on desktop and move the mouse or any bright object against a dark background), but that is true for any QLED that does not implement nano IPS and isn’t HDR 1000. This panel IS nano IPS but HDR 600 so some halo will be noticed. On games however it is not noticeble.

The build quality is suberb and really solid. The ‘gamer’ look is subdued which I appreciate, with the ‘all black’ with some LED on the ROG logo on the back (which can be turned off).

I found that the 32” for a small desk setup to be optimal instead of a dual monitor. The size of the monitor and the aspect ratio are in great ballance for a single monitor usage. If you want higher pixel density ROG seems to be comming up with a version of this monitor with a 4k panel next year.

I alternate this monitor between my mac for work and PC for gaming and it has a great performance for both.

Ok I m writing this short review for the ROG Swift PG35VQ 35inch Monitor, Up until now I have always used IPS screens for the colour saturations and clarity of images ..but times change and after seeing the write-ups for this I decided to take a rather expensive leap of faith and purchase one for myself .. assembly was easy task but beware the weight of this monitor and the spread of its supporting feet, . it is bigger than you might think at 1st glance needing at least 55cm width and 30cm depth of desk space for its stand. , this unit is now along side my 27′ AOC IPS 144hz monitor, the difference is quite frankly astounding, this matches the colour saturation of the AOC with the added bonuses of Blacks being Black with no bleed over at all,, I did not to be honest tweak the unit much other than the have the admittedly cool light display on the desk and to set the Hz range to 180hz, but then again to be bluntly honest why would you need to tweak, this has surprised the heck out of me for its clarity and depth, truly worth the price IMHO, so if like me at you want a true competitor to the IPS’a out there get one of these, there will be no going back to other screen types I assure you.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usersldr; Super bright HDR image. Some halos, but there is workarounds. Flickering has not been an issue. Feels super good to use. It’s the best tech available right now.

I’ve used this monitor now for good couple months and can give my personal thoughts. These are my personal opinions and others might disagree.

    HDR/Halos:
The HDR image is BRIGHT. Start BF V and the load screen just punches your eyes. The downside of the 512 zone local dimming being enabled are the halos. I’ve left the HDR off while using windows (the screen is bright enough even without it). When you start HDR enabled game, it automatically changes the monitor to the HDR mode and enables the 512 local array and you get all the benefits.

    Flickering:
I’ve seen some people posting videos of the flickering and I have managed to reproduce it. I saw it on BF V and fixed it by enabling chromatic aberration in the game (ya, workaround on 2k+ monitor). Boom, flickering gone. Haven’t seen it on any other game that I play.

The response time from the monitor is fast enough for me. I’m a casual player and have not regretted the purchase at any point. Anything above 144hz and you are limited to 8bit color. This is due to DPport tech… so if you want something better, you’ll have to wait for the next standards… This is the best there is right now given the technological limitations. This monitor pushes it to the edge what we can do right now.

Anyway, even with some of the compromises. Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI bought this monitor via Overlockers UK with one of the first shipments in the UK. Just writing this review in order to explain what you need to be careful about the monitor.

First of all, this is far best the best display I have ever had in my life and I have been using computers for the last 34 years.

This monitor is not like a standart display where you can easily configure it once and don’t change anything else till it dies except turning it on and off. PG35VQ has LOTS of different features which will require some tweaking based on what you want.

For FPS gaming, I hit 230 fps on Overwatch while 200 Hz refresh rate ( 8 bit colour ) was enabled, it was amazing. Silky smooth thanks to G-Sync Ultimate and the colours was so vibrant thanks to HDR.

For immersive gaming, tested this display with Division 2, Witcher 3 WildHunt, Battlefield:V (well this could also be in FPS category but due to high quality graphics, I flag this as immersive ) and have amazing experience in every way. Especially the view changes quite a bit with 10 bit (tried with 12 bit too, but didn’t see any difference really) colour depth and HDR1000 enabled.

Tried many other games including RTSes (e.g. Anno 1080) and since now, this is far the best monitor I have ever seen.

Though, as I mentioned on the 2nd paragraph, it may require to tweak configurations (e.g. intensity of backlight, colours depth, refresh rate, etc. etc. ) on different applications/setup depending on what you are doing. For example, you definitely don’t want to enable backlight if you are coding, but it makes everything more vibrant if you enable that while playing a game. Depending on this configuration, it sometimes requires some try & fails to find out what is the optimum setting for that specific game. I think – apart from being expensive – this is the biggest disadvantage of this monitor; Micro management.

    Few hints/highlights/info ;
    * If your game/app already supports HDR, enable it within it’s own configuration and disable HDR on Windows. (This is far more superior than the next option )
    * If your game/app does not support HDR, just enable HDR on Windows.
    * Disable backlight if you are using it for work.
    * 10 bit colour might change your experience on immersive gaming. You can’t enable it while 200Hz is enabled.
    * Play a lot with NVIDIA Settings
    * Do not buy this if you don’t have a NVIDIA Card
    * Get yourself ready to play with monitor nearly on every game change.

    PROs:
    * Best of the best on gaming. Don’t believe in any VA-haters. Try to find it somewhere and see it with your own eyes.
    * HDR1000, incredible.
    * 200Hz with 8-bit colour
    * 10-bit colour
    * Heavy duty

    CONs:
    * Expensive
    * Requires continuous tweaking while using it if you are not playing/using just one game/setup.

    Unnecessary, but it is there:
    * Sound DAC
    * Aura SYNC for RGB controls
    * 12-bit colour, IMHO
