Easy to follow instructions, easy to install! We didn’t use the screws provided as sticky tabs are supper strong! Our very smart 3 year old can no longer get into places he shouldn’t be! Comes with two keys things so was able to use locks at my parents house too!

Fast & Simple
With the applicator there’s no need for measuring and installation takes 30 seconds.
Simply remove the backs off the sticky pads, stick to roof of cabinet and shut the door. Once you open the door you can remove the applicator.
The sticky pads are very strong as I needed a knife to remove one after a mistake on my part.
It does come with screws should you wish to screw it on.

We purchased this to keep our grandchildren,from opening our drawers and cupboards.The undercupboard where we keep household cleaning products,is now safely locked.We no longer have to chase around blocking his way.He’s got the freedom of the kitchen and my cupboards and drawers ,are neat and tidy.

Brilliant child locks
So easy to install and such a great idea. I got these as grandaughter started crawling, so needed to babyproof house. These are strong and not visible on outside of doors. There is also a function that allows the catch to be pushed back when you dont need to use the locking features, which is what I wanted as only needed to use when visits. A little tip, when deciding where to place unit, when putting on back of door make sure its NOT right behind the handle, as then the magnet wont function.

The best cupboard locks!
These are the best cupboard locks by far, easy to install, invisible once in place, require only one very quick unlocking operation and don’t require any locking manipulation!! They just lock automatically when a door is closed, brilliant!! They can be temporarily disabled if needed, and are very robust and look like will last forever, other locks we used before were difficult to use and broke after a while…

Brilliant product for locking cupboards
At first I was thinking how does this work, but it’s actually very simple and easy. I love the fact that there’s no mess or marks etc on the cupboards if you remove the lock and no fastoning than can be opened.
My lil one has attempted once to open the cupboards but she’s realised she can’t anymore and hasn’t bothered trying again which is great. She does enjoy playing with the magnetic lock though sticking it on the cupboard handles and removing it (under my supervision of course) so it’s got a double use out of it.
Would recommend this product to other parents.

Suprisingly strong lock, with a handy storing tool for the magnet. We use it on our cleaning supply unit for obvious reasons and on draws that our little one has decided to empty on numerous occasion, but this has put a very welcomed stop to that.

This product is fantastic. So simple to install in 5 minutes. It also comes with screws so you have the choice to use the adhesive sticky back or for extra reinforcement they’re included as a backup. I found if you hold the magnet key on the spot it releases the lock (rather than swiping up and down as suggested) and it has small stickers you can place on the doors to show you where the lock is so you’re not searching for it! Worked on all my standard kitchen cupcoards. I’ve tried other locks in the past and these are far superior – wouldn’t hesitate to buy again!

It latch has a sticking function that locks into open state. Should be known before installing as I removed the first one thinking it was broken. Once figured out the product works great. I would recommend.

We found the instructions quite hard to follow and wasted two catches fitting them incorrectly. What we have installed seem to work well, although our toddler managed to get hold of one of the magnets and lost it!

These are great. I’ve bought 3 times already. They really stick, no locks showing on the outside, easy and fast to install and use, and you have the option to have it unlocked for as long as you want which is good for the evenings when babies in bed. Highly recommend. Fast delivery also.
These bad boys are easy to install and so strong!! We locked the baby in the cupboard as he wanted to know how the cornflakes felt but we ‘accidentally’ lost the magnetic openers so he now lives in there, we occasionally slip a dried lasagne sheet dipped in a mixture of sherbet and powdered Berocca through the crack in the cupboard to combat the darkness, but he seems to have settled nicely into his new life. 10/10 would buy again.

Very easy to install and work an absolute dream. My 1 year old must think I’m a magician though as he walked round the kitchen after me trying to open the doors and found they were all stuck closed

Amazing locks bought different ones in past and these so much better. The magnet is massive to hold so won’t get stuck to any pan tray and go unoticed and melt in.oven like the past.
The cupboard lock have withstand my two year old trying to open them and most favourite part is the sticker to know where to put the magnet amazing works every time.

These work really well and the fitting guide is great. The one extra thing that is worth mentioning is that if the horizontal and vertical parts of the cupboard carcass are not exactly matched then line the hook receptor up with the one that’s further out. That way you will definitely get the hook to engage, if not it might not latch.

I bought these for my baby who is crawling around, but actually they work great with my other children. One of the pieces was faulty, I contacted the company and I got an email right away which was very apologetic and I had new pieces sent out in the post straight away. Knives and chemicals safe from little ones.
I wrote a stinging review earlier because the lock took many attempts over about 5 minutes to unlock. Then I tried again pressing the magnet key hard against the door and it worked every time. It’s no good just tapping it. You have to press it hard.

Very practical, easy to apply and use, it has a strong magnet and the key is also magnet so you can attach to your fridge for example so you don’t lose it.
Very minimalist look and also you have the option to switch off the lock at your convenience when the little one is not around.
You get also silicone corner protector which is usefull as well, quite a nice pack all together.

These are actually really good. I saw other reviews and bought this. Not disappointed. Super easy to install as they provide a tool so you cant go wrong with the alignment. Make sure the place you will stick these on is dry and grease free. One of the kitchen cupboards i put this in had some grease and the sticky part did not last long but not a problem. Because they also provide screws in case you want to make these over the top secure. So if you have a toddler or baby who is just finding it too hard to stay away from your kitchen cupboards then you should definitely buy this. Well worth the money.
These are BRILLIANT. Exceptionally good. The packaging is quality with all the different bits cleverly stored in a moulded cases. So long as you wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth where the two parts of the catch stick, you can’t go wrong. The kit is supplied with an applicator which is a genius piece of right-angled plastic into which go the catch (which attaches to the inside of the door or drawer) and the clip (which attaches to the carcass). So getting it placed correctly is guaranteed which is 95% of the battle! Uber-strong 3M stickers (ask me how I know. Well ok, I gave it some welly to test…) although if you have a particularly erm… “energetic” small human in the family, you can use the supplied screws after fitting the catches in order to thwart them.
Yep, I’m really excited to review these as they do deserve a design award or some such thing. They certainly deserve to succeed commercially. Get them.
Couple of tips. When offering up the catch, look to see where the magnetic key will need to be placed on the door to open the catch. Therefore don’t fully press the catches to the surface when using the template until you are comfortable you can release the catch using the key. (Door handle might be in the way). I made a couple of mistakes by setting the catch flush with the unit. It needed to be forward just a tad. I had to quickly remove the catch using a knife and reset. That said the box dies come with spare adhesive pads. Once set correctly then press hard and if you can leave ‘off’ by clicking the switch down for a day or so. The self adhesive sets to 50% contact strength after four hours and 90% after 24hrs. When our 18 month old grandson leaves we just open all the locked doors using the magnetic key and flick the connecting switch/arm down. This means we can open all the doors without using a key. When the little fella comes back to us just flick the switches/arms up then doors are locked again. Job done. Great bit of kit!!

Really good locks that work really well. Sticky pads are not great however the screws supplied are great. Easy to install with the tool in the box. Love the lock on and lock off function.

Kinda easy to install (I struggled but then I am tired..) and the annoying thing is finding the magnet to unlock but a small price to pay to keep my son out the cupboard!

Easy to fit, easy to use. Easy to remove if needed. The only one who doesn’t like them is my 15months old who now can’t open all the cupboards.
They are expensive compared to others but I bought cheaper ones for my eldest and they were awkward to fit, to use and then left damage to the cupboards when we moved.
I love these locks. You can’t see anything from the outside of the cupboards so they are not an eye sore, they are easy to install and easy to use. I also like that the locks can be easily deactivated without having to remove them – this has meant that we have been able to install them in my parents’ caravan so that it’s safe for when we take my little boy there, but that my parents are not stuck with the inconvenience of having all their cupboards locked when they are there alone.

After buying a different type of safety latch, which had to be returned, I am so pleased that these are super easy to install and absolutely work! My brute of a 10 month old can no longer open the doors of our dresser, much to his frustration. The magnetic latch is brilliant.

So easy to install, even my 13yr old couldn’t work it to get cupboard open. much better system than the ones that u had to push from inside that children can quickly learn how to open. locks secure the door well. not sure how much force it would take to open without magnetic as i didnt want to break it to test, but they feel fairly secure against a childs strength anyway. Great option to stick magnet up high, out of reach of the child but handy for adult wanting into the cupboard without too much fuss, and shouldn’t get lost.
9 years ago we used magnets in our old kitchen, they were good but the Magnetic mechanism was tricky to find and open! However this was 9 years ago, things have moved on!! BABYGO brand is great, really simple and easy. We didn’t use the sticky pads as our 11 month old son pulled them off immediately! So we used the screws which are provided. They’re absolutely perfect.

This is by far the best safety product I’ve ever bought and it’s from a small business which I love supporting. These work exactly how they are described. Easy fix into place and can take a hefty pull so no little ones will ever be getting into your cupboards without your permission. The contents even came with unit corner guards made from silicone I believe which I wasn’t expecting so that turned out to be a lovely surprise. I will definitely be buying from here again as and when my little ones get bigger for higher cupboards. Ok for cupboards, not so good for drawers
I bought these from among the many available on Amazon because they are supplied by a small business and the reviews were mainly positive.
The locks are sturdy and well made and come with everything needed for fitting.
The instructions were clear and I had no trouble fitting the locks, however it was necessary to remove the little anti-slam buffer pads from my cupboards to get the locks to work. The locks seem to hold the doors securely and it is easy to set them to ‘open’ when the locks aren’t required. They keys are good and after a bit of practice, easy to use.
The locks are yet to be tested against my grandson, but they can definitely keep me out when locked!
I had hoped to use them for the drawers too, but while they could be used to secure the top drawers of my units and the big pan drawers at the bottom (I would have to re-organise the contents), there is no way I can use them on the middle kitchen drawers. I will now have to buy another product for those drawers.

I was looking for an alternative to standard drill in latches to keep the cleaning and diy nasties away from children. Sometimes small ones realise a door has a latch that opens a little way and will repeatedly try and pull it open. Toddlers get stronger every day and have endless energy reserves so I wanted to avoid a daily production of stomp going off in my kitchen/brain. Babygo is easy to install without drilling into my weak mdf cupboards and keeps the cupboards closed shut tight stopping any curiosity from little kitchen explorers. Locks are strong and easy to install with the applicator. The magnet does take a knack to use so I’d recommend familiarising that out before closing an installed cupboard for the first time. The round corner protectors were a great addition to the package too. Overall very happy and would recommend.
Found this by chance while searching for a magnetic lock system for our kitchen as our son was starting to learn how to open cupboards and climb. Couldn’t have found it soon enough and certainly believe we couldn’t of found a better product!
It was quick and easy to install, the babygo system comes with it’s own performer which helps install the items perfect first time! I installed this one evening after a long day at work and with little sleep as teething was causing issues and had it all done in 15mins or so. We only have a small kitchen so that helped but was just super easy.
Our son has been testing the limits of adhesion since, hanging off of a drawer and pulling all the doors he can reach, no issues yet. Only complaint is we took a while to get used to the idea of the doors being locked and kept going “oh yeah” when tidying the washing up away, bit that is more of a complaint of our tired parent brains than the product.
Cant reccomend enough, would buy again if we needed to but the one pack sorted our little kitchen out. Of also the corner protectors are big and sturdy too, not had them tested as yet but doubt itll be long.
Very easy to install and it simply works
Basically hassle free installation… And the adhesion is very strong. It took me a while to get used to these being on, so I would normally find myself pulling hard on the cabinet doors, and none of these locks came off. The adhesive is indeed top notch.
Also, these are basically invisible, as they’re mounted on the inside, so that’s another big plus.
I have used these on 7 cabinet doors in my kitchen and I always keep one of the magnetic keys handy to open them, while the second one I have stashed away, just in case this one gets lost.
Needless to say, my 19 months old daughter wasn’t happy about losing access to cabinets, but she got over it quickly and concentrated more on her toys for a change.
I’m happy with this purchase, very practical.
Fantastic product, just one shortcoming
This is the best toddler kitchen lock set I have come across. Most toddler locks are ugly and clunky. Not this one. Because it uses magnetic operated latches, there is nothing to despoil the outside of your cabinet doors, just a discreet sticker to indicate where to place the magnet to open. The latches are stuck on with adhesive tape; it is a very strong bond. Even better there is an applicator that makes installation faultless and quick. I used mine on double cupboard doors and deep kitchen drawers with great success. My only caveat, and the reason I dropped a star, is that I couldn’t use it on shallower drawers. Mine have no gap between the shallow drawers so there was nowhere to place the latch. I’d still recommend this kit, though. Another good thing is that the latches can be very easily made inactive, in case you only need toddler locks at certain times.

Just wow these are amazing my little Grandson has recently discovered the kitchen cupboard doors but these locks are just fantastic.
Installed on the first door and the sticky wasn’t great so I also used the screws too. A couple of my other doors also the sticky wasn’t the best even after cleaning with a degreaser But this is my first grand child so the locks will stay in place full time.
Love the fact that you can set them to be unlocked when the little one not here making our lives easier then lock em up to keep him safe when he is here. The little gadget they provide for lining up the locks makes life so easy I had viewed other locks similar to these but so glad I went with these ones. Love them so much I have recommended to lots of friends and the daughter is also going to purchase

Beginning to baby proof the house as my little one gets more mobile.
Traditional cupboard locks don’t fit in our cupboards or drawers so needed a different solution.
Aligning the lock & catch with the supplied applicator is simple & clear, but had to do it a few times to get used to it due to slight misalignment with bumps and rims of our cupboards. Fortunately a few spare adhesives are supplied and you can also screw them in if needed. Screws are supplied.
We disabled the locks for a day or two to let the adhesive fully set and they seem to be holding strong so far. Handy that they can be disabled too if needed.
The magnet works well to unlock the latches, but depending on where they’re attached, you may need two hands to hold the magnet in place and pull the cupboard or drawer, not always easy when carrying a young one or in a rush. Two magnets are supplied so can be used in different locations or as a spare. Overall though happy with the product, may buy more if needed for other furniture.
Childproof Magnetic Cupboard/Drawer Lock
My 4 yo has developed a desire, want, craving, demand for sweet things. These are kept in a cupboard in the kitchen and up until last week he would never dream of walking up to it, opening the door and helping himself to whatever he desires, until now. Little darling child was found on the sofa with two little bowls, one on top of the other acting as a lid (blatantly an obvious cover up of something he knew he shouldn’t be doing) and was questioned about the contents of said bowls. He tried to deny that anything was there and then admitted he raided the cupboard and helped himself to the Haribo’s (other sweet brands are available but just don’t quite have the same taste).
We gave him a second chance (stupidly like he’ll never do it again) and a few days later he decided at bed time to walk up to the cupboard in front of us, open it whilst looking at us and try to take something. I then told him I am getting a lock for the cupboard and he literally cried his eyes out and begged me not to. The result is the lock shown.
This review is absolutely nothing to do with the lock itself but just the backdrop to why I am here and now you presumably are too as you may have experienced the same or are currently.
If that’s the case then let me tell you these locks are great. They are solid and no 4 yo boy is going to be getting into the goodies cupboard anytime soon that’s for sure. The locks are great in that they are packaged well, have the option to use the 3M pads that are attached to the sections and/or use the small PZ1 screws that also come with it. I initially done it with just the pads and they instantly stuck and was not coming off for love nor money but for added reassurance just in case he tried swingning on the doors I have also used the screws. Once they stick they’re stuck.
The pack also comes with a tool that allows for a foolproof installation of the two sections being the magnetic lock and the catch. Even if you’re a absolutely useless at DIY you will be able to install them. Trust me. If you’re partner is the typical it’ll get done tomorrow kind of person and you get frustrated with that as you’re not good at DIY and rely on them with this you can take the Bull by the horns and crack ok yourself. Takes all of 3 mins per lock and 2 mins of that is spent doing what I done in the video.
When fitted the lock holds firm and the door doesn’t move. You place the magnet, which also has its own holder to store it up out of the children’s reach with its own 3M pad on the back, on the section on door which has the lock behind and you hear the lock drop and release. You can then open the door. When you close the door it relocks itself. It’s as simple as that. The magenta work by having the same poles ie N and N or S and S and they repel off each other causing the lock to lower and release. When you remove the magent it returns to its intended lock position. The pack comes with tiny little stickers that you can place on the door where you need to apply the magnet for other adults to know if they need to and you’re not there for example babysitters or grandparents.
Highly recommended lock and well made. Cannot see this breaking easily. Famous lasts words maybe but it don’t feel like it will break quickly.
Innovative product. Easy installation. Opening closed cupboards little tricky
Bought it for baby proofing kitchen cabinets and drawers for our 2 n half years old toddler.
Have used a different kind of baby proofing product for the same reason previously which were simple plastic straps with tapes on both ends (available online on amazon). The problems which we found with the old ones were – looked bad on the outside as you do end up putting quite a few everywhere and also after a couple of months of their installation, our kid started pulling at the plastic straps and made them a bit loose. One cabinet door got unhinged because of all the pulling. Now this latter problem may not happen with all parents who have disciplined well behaved kids 🙂 but it did happen with ours so thought of mentioning the same.
Now these two issues are absolutely not there with this product as it’s totally invisible to the eyes after installation. And hence no unnecessary pulling also. Another great point is – very easy to install. Good adhesion.
A few drawbacks we found –
The magnet can be a bit tricky at times and you have to really put it at one point where it easily opens up elsewhere it’s can be a bit of hassle. Nothing which can’t be worked out in a few extra seconds or so but yes can get on nerves when trying to fetch something in middle of cooking alongside a hungry toddler.
The other negative is – drawers . Here unless you have good depth in the drawer, the product takes up space inside and hence u can’t put anything in the whole length of it as it will then keep on hitting it inside.
So finally we have not used them in our kitchen drawer region but would go for these again if needed for big cabinets etc.

Worked perfectly on our 18mm gloss kitchen/utility room doors. Our 18 week old puppy had worked out how to get into her dog food cupboard. That meant she could open the cupboards with cleaning materials. She is now thwarted and has given up. The wife is also happy because nothing is visible and we can disable them when the puppy is older. I like the engineering of the locks and the applicator – good engineering is simple and clever, and this is both. Very happy.
All parents should have these at home
Great product, great idea. What let’s this down though is how challenging it is to fit the catch to the inside of cupboards and draws. Please make the adhesive pads better quality. This is an 8 out of 8 as it stands and would be a 10 with improvements.
Actually works!
I am surprised how well these work. We have relatively thick kitchen cupboards and the hold the door closed really securely, whilst allowing us to open the doors relatively easily. Occasionally you have to move the magnet around to open the door, but it is usually very easy. One thing I would say is that when installing them make sure you install the side that sticks inside the cupboard (not the actual lock part that goes on the door) around 1-2mm overlapping the edge of the cupboard, otherwise the fit can be very tight. You’ll see what I mean when you install one. Luckily there are a couple of spare sticky pads if you need to take them off and re-position. Also the end of the magnetic thing is just a holder and comes off and makes the magnet stronger to make opening the cupbosrds easier, we didn’t realise this at first. Great product!

We initially thought that we had a bad pack or were somehow missing why these had so many rave reviews. I realised though that our cupboards had little bumpers which mean the doors aren’t completely flush to the walls and so we had to stick these with a little bit sticking out rather than completely flush themselves. As soon as we made this adjustment they worked really well. We’re still getting used to having to reach for the unlocker but it’s better than baby being able to get into the cupboards! I do also love that there is an option to turn the locks ‘off’ if Babba isn’t around and you just want easy access for a while. Overall, very happy with this purchase and now we have the hang of them I would definitely buy again.
Fantastic
Can’t fault them. Work perfectly in kitchen, on the under-sink doors and our utensil/pan drawers. Used the rest of the pack on our IKEA TV cabinet drawers with success. 2x magnets is ideal for keeping them handy across rooms. Stick it to your cooker extract or fridge. They have an override facility by clicking the hook in, ideal if you are in and out while cooking etc.
Magnets not strong enough
Originally sent a faulty pack but the seller was enthusiastic to rectify the problem. Went above and beyond when she couldn’t get hold of me via email, going as far as sending a letter reaching out to make sure I ended up with a working product. Excellent customer service, really effective product for my 8 month old. Would absolutely recommend.
Amazing
These are amazing and great value with free products too. We rent our house so needed something we could stick to the cupboard doors with no drilling/screws. Although you can use this option also. Very strong and reliable. My toddler pulls on the doors (it’s surprising how strong toddlers are) and it doesn’t come off. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Easy to install once you figure the first one out.
Super simple to install
This system is so easy to install thanks to the jig that is included. Comes with a few spare pads and the corner protectors are nice and Chucky. Highly recommend and it comes with screws if you need a bit of extra hold.

These do exactly what they say on the tin. Bought them because we are in a rented property & didn’t want to cause damage to the cupboards. They were easy to install, even my husband can’t pull open the cupboards but entertaining trying to get into routine of using them. They are so discreet you forget they are there & can get a bit frustrated but it’s just about building the habit! My 10 MO son was so confused after his nap when I installed them, he could no longer access the Tupperware!!

Soooooo easy.
Easy to install, ideal to stop the grandkids getting into the cupboards. When they’ve gone, just push down latch and doors back to the way they were.

Easy and safe
Really easy to install and so far a great purchase as they’ve stopped little hands opening cupboards. Tested well when little one has tried to open the door by pulling on it for ages.

These are great, the stay shut, are easy to install, don’t leave any visible marks on the outside, no drilling required… 10/10.
Easy to use baby safety lock
After a little confusion on how to install the lock (there is a link to an installation video you can watch that I didn’t watch) we were able to quickly and easily install the locks.
The adhesion seems strong and secure. Our little is unable to get into the cupboards now which gives us some peace of mind.
Definitely worth the price and we would purchase again in the future.

Shockingly perfec
This came in the box (well presented) upon opening, being the typical man I decided to not look at the instructions and fend for myself due to other peoples reviews really.
Turns out, I didn’t need them too, these locks are so so simple to install, especially as you get a template to place the individual Locks in to upon installing purely for the lining up after removing the 3M sticker pads, I mention the 3M as thIs is (IMO) the best adhesive tape around!
The first one had taken me all in all around 3 minutes to place on securely as it was the first and wanted to be sure it lined up correctly, the further 7 I required was less than a minute apart for each.
I was a little concerned about the magnet actually working through the thickness of each door but nope, not an issue whatsoever, worked a treat and shocked me if honest as it’s not really that powerful as magnets go. I like finishing touches and this comes with just that, the little plastic transparent stickers indicating where exactly you have installed the locks and to place the magnet (for others)
No screws required at all as these 3M stickers are more than strong enough, however, screws are supplied if you chose to use.
I would 100% but this again, genuinely a fantastic design and product for the price!
Only wish something existed similar somewhat 20+ yrs ago instead of those flimsy things you had to open draws etc. to get too, these even keep the wife out the wine cupboard when I hide the magnet (although it comes with 2)

Once you get the knack of it, ease of install goes through the roof
The first couple of tries installing this product was met with failure; I used the applicator, correctly lined up to the edge of the cupboard and when stuck, upon closing the catch just wouldn’t catch – so the door was always open.
After some fiddling and finding the sweet spot of where it should be aligned (slightly away – couple mm – from the edge, it started to catch). So once I found out how to do it through trial and error rather than the instructions, then it worked like a charm.
Once you get the knack of it, ease of install goes through the roof

Great childlock that is really strong and works well.
They’re great and very strong with just adhesive fixings – I had to lever a knife between the adhesive and unit to remove the one I’d placed incorrectly as I couldn’t remove it with strength from my bare hands.
They are easy to fit with the applicator included (despite my mistake which was due to poor placement on top of a screw for the cupboard handle) and can conveniently be “turned” on and off.
The only reason they drop a star is because of the company communication – a bit petty perhaps, but they always refer to helping Mums and Mums-to-be… I’m a Dad and in the 21st Century we have as much to do with the raising of our children as their Mums and I felt it perpetuates gender stereotypes.
