Specifically bought for use as a low power Plex server. Works fantastically – excellent transcoding performance, very quiet, minimal power usage – and it’s tiny! Very pleased

I purchased this after my Mac gave up and I didn’t want a huge PC tower under my desk.
Have been using it for a few months now. Works great. def fast enough for business use… only negative is that it only has two usb ports, on the back so I purchased an extender to give me more. Great value for money.

This is small and fast. The pc it replaced is 8 times bigger than the beelink. Love this small pc.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI replaced a family member’s old full size tower PC with this little machine. The difference in size is hilarious, but for day to day tasks this tiny machine is more than adequate. It saves a ton of room and probably quite a bit of power usage vs. a std. sized PC. It is also quiet in normal use (email, web browsing, YouTube etc.) although the small fan would probably get loud under heavy load, e.g. in games.

The design is neat and the build quality seems very good, with an all-metal main cover. Taking the bottom cover off to gain access to the configurable parts (RAM, SSD, space for 2.5″ drive) is straightforward. My machine was delivered with all branded components, Crucial RAM and a Kingston NVME SSD.

A couple of things are worth commenting on.

The machine was preinstalled with Windows 11. I wanted to downgrade to Win10. Beelink will steer you to their own download links for the Win10 Pro image to do this, but the files are hosted on Mega.nz and plagued by interruptions and paid subscription nags. You are far better off to download a clean Win10 Pro installation image direct from Microsoft.

The installation of Win10 Pro was straightforward and it picked up the preinstalled Windows license automatically (which I was a bit worried about). However after installing Win10 you will find the WiFi 6E and Bluetooth drivers are not included, so you will need to either download those beforehand and put them on a USB stick, or have a physical Ethernet connection or a USB WiFi dongle available to get back online and find them. The default driver package on the Beelink site is quite old (2020) but under their support pages you will find a driver package dated 2022 (at the time of writing) with up to date drivers.

One other peculiarity of this machine is the USB ports, which are all upside-down, vs. the conventional arrangement on other machines. If you are plugging in cables this doesn’t matter, it’s just a little disconcerting. However for USB devices that plug in directly it can be a problem, for example I needed to use a WiFi adapter with a built-in aerial temporarily, only to discover the aerial could either point straight forwards across the desk, or swivel down to point “through” the desk, because of the USB port orientation. You can of course get around this with a USB extension cable or other adapter, but it can be a nuisance.

Brilliant little machine. Only the USB port arrangement is a bit odd.

It took me a while to pick this tiny computer but it was worth the research.
So far ( still installing some of my software ) everything is 5 stars.
I like the Windows 11 pro and the speed of this tiny computer.
Finally got around to converting my .avi videos to .mp4 and it makes short work of this task. Looks like an excellent purchase.
I opted for the faster and more ram solution as opposed to the cheaper but good value for money budget option.

I chose this mini PC as I thought it was well priced for the specs that it offered. It comes in a nice little ‘gift box’, and also includes a couple of HDMI cables as well as Windows 11, which was a nice surprise.

Very easy to setup & lightning fast. From cold boot to being presented with the Windows screen is around 15 seconds, maybe less. It also has a fingerprint scanner which I prefer to Face ID!

I had pretty much everything setup on the PC within 2-3 hours of receiving it, very easy to do as the computer runs so smoothly. The only ‘hiccup’ I had was to do with the strength of the WiFi signal, which the seller was very quick to resolve through an updated driver. Great aftercare, something that you very rarely get without paying with the bigger brands, so I was glad I chose this one instead.

I will use this mini PC for video editing, 3D render work, image editing & general PC use. Used it for the past 5 days and it’s handled everything very well.

I have it fixed to the underside of my desk which keeps everything tidy, and its so quiet you wouldn’t know it was there.

The only thing to mention is that I also purchased a Samsung 1TB Sata M2 drive which was in the ‘frequently bought with…’ section. However, upon installing it , I found that it’s not compatible (Windows didn’t recognise it). I purchase the Western Digital Blue M2 Sata drive, which worked perfectly once I installed it in ~10 mins (just take off the back plate and slide it in).

I highly recommend this mini PC – it’s great value for money, aftercare is there, and the specs that it has means that it’s likely to last a long time.

Very fast mini PC that is well priced & has great aftercare

I have not been encouraged and asked to write this review.
First things first. Recognise the seller. They are amazing with customer support. After a blip with the original delivery, totally caused by Amazon, they were constantly in touch, responded within minutes to emails to the seller through my account. And when the second item arrived they gave a good Will gesture for my troubles. For me the customer support when buying products like this is paramount. They were faultless.
    The system.
It is barely the size of a small paperback book, made of solid case material and contains quality products so neatly laid out and with all the ports easily accessible and plenty of them. The speed is blistering and any comments you hear about fan noise can be explained by the fans booting up when the processor is under strain and then it reduced to a zero level noise level.
Couple of of things to be aware of which may help you make a decision.
    1. It comes with a 500gb SSD fitted in the NVME M.2 slot. It is fabulous and has Windows 11 PRO installed on it.
    2. To fit a second M.2 SSD next to it you need to get a M.2 SATA3 2280 drive. I fitted a 1TB before starting the system up. The SATA has 3 slits at the end. 2 short pins and a large centre one. Basically labelled B and M on either side. When you boot up, you will need to go to the drive in device manager to activate it. Basically create a volume on it. This was drive D.
    3. To fit a 2.5″ HDD in the bracket supplied and ready with connectors and all you need. So i bought a 1TB HDD. It slides into the casing and clicks into the connector. The ribbon is connected from ther based unit to the cover so just be careful when removing the base to fit not to break the cable. Again boot up and create a volume on the drive. Drive E. All good first time. So in total I have 2.5TB of internal storage.
    4. You may need a DVD driver to connect externally. I have connected by both the USB and the USB C ports. You only need to use one of the connections at a time. I didn’t need and external power and it worked immediately. Well, just give it 5 seconds to wind up and show in your file manager. It read disks immediately, was quick and i installed software no glitches.
    5. I connected a good quality Bluetooth speaker for my cloud and it worked immediately.
    6. I was able to connect an 8 port USB Self powered) hub to extend USB availability. All accessories added worked and were recognsied immediately.
    7. I used a HDMI 3 way splitter so i could use my screens to connect other products but keep the mini active.
    8. The only software and driver glitch was the Radeon graphics. It all worked but when i tried to access the software it said there was a driver and software conflict. So went to the AM Radeon website, it checked what i had fitted and offered the latest drivers and software. All perfectly installed. No glitch.
    9. I did see mentioned that when first starting you should not have internet connected. I wanted to ensure i had my 365 account active and ready on first install so left mine of the Ethernet connection. Absolutely not issues. See less.
    10. The WIFI 6e and Bluetooth 5 are a fantastic addition at this price and allows some future proof options.

I hope readers find that useful. I can now remove a very large, full of led light tower unit and replace with this small unit neatly placed behind the monitors but easy to use the easy to create fingerprint access system. Less cables, intrusion.

Technology is moving on. This particular GTR5, 32GB RAM, 500GB SSD, WIFI 6e, Bluetooth 5 AMD RAZEN takes it to the next level. At half the price you’d pay for a similar big box system.

    It is a life change

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersDue to current UK situation working from home and got portable mini PC however wasn’t as good as I needed it to be. After searching around and per colleagues advise found this mini Pc with AMD Ryzen 5 Processor. And I have to say it absolutely beast on its performance. At work I use triple monitors which helps compare files and complete analytic jobs efficiently. I have struggled to achieving that with my previous portable pcs, this one handles the task without issue further more I can add extra 4th monitor if needed.
Settings top quality, it has wifi 6 built it which allows transmission upto 2400mbps , my fibre optic interned cable doesn’t provide that speed however good feature to have.
It has multiple inlets 2 hdmi’s , DP port, typeC, 2 RJ45 ports and usb ports
It supports extra clear view 4K on 60Hz display without any interruptions.
Well ventilated and fitted with extra quite ventilators helps perform mini powerful processor to maintain a high performance.
I got it mainly to hell with my heavy office programs however it can handle heavy games as well.
On top it also has finger print reader which ideal to have as fast security control. Runs on windows 10 platform.
Overall mini but packed with huge performance specs pc, absolutely recommended it. Due to size it’s also makes it extremely portable.
Have a look to my pictures to see real size hope this will help to decide if it’s suitable for personal needs or not.

Mini in size huge in power.
